THE TASTE OF THE DIVINE ♡ GOJO SATORU
gojo satoru x fem!reader
what's it? smut
allergen warning/s? oral [m!receiving], throat fucking, hair pulling, reader's feral for gojo
sugar level? 0.5k
parlor's note? yes this is literally because of that two second clip of gojo breathing heavily in the shibuya arc trailer, thank you.
regulars? @sugusshi (lemme know if you wanna be added/removed from the taglist!)
bon appetit!
Tumblr media
"fuck fuck, there you go." gojo exhaled when the tip of his dick hits the back of your throat. he would've loved to lean his head back against the couch as you pleasure him, but he knows how much you love it when his attention's on you so he continues to look down on your figure, kneeled between his spread thighs; when you make eye contact with him and cheekily wink, he decides he loves it too.
he's been working so hard lately, flying from prefecture to prefecture, risking his life nearly everyday to protect people like you. now it's time for you to help him.
you hollow your cheeks as you pull away from his cock, and the friction has him grabbing the cushion of the back of the sofa next to him while his other hand tightens its grip on your hair. the dull pain radiating from your scalp only makes you moan, sending strong vibrations to his tip and he swears he could cum right then and there as a shiver that has nothing to do with the cold runs down his spine.
even with your eyes watering from your gag reflex being abused and your lips swollen, there's nothing on your mind but a want, a need to bring the god-like man in front of you to pleasure.
relaxing your already-aching jaw once more, you lower your head on him, bobbing up and down at the pace you know makes his eyes flutter shut in bliss but close to never uses because he doesn't like being rough with you. you could barely care less right now though, about how your jaw is going to ache, your throat, your mouth, anything. you're intoxicated by his very presence.
"shit," he hisses through gritted teeth. "you really wanna ruin me today, huh?" even the mere breathlessness in his deep voice makes you squeeze your thighs together with pure and unbridled want.
the room is filled with the sounds of him groaning, your satisfied little hums, and the squelch of your wet mouth on his wet dick. it's absolutely disgusting and filthy and you wouldn't have it any other way.
your lust for him comes from something primal inside you. it causes you to abandon all senses, all thoughts, and all cares.
sometime between you taking him into your mouth and now, he's gripped your hair and fucked your throat raw. you never noticed it though. you're going at the same pace as him. you couldn't get yourself to stop, to find contentment where you are.
you only find it when he pulls you off him and finishes on your face, coating your features with white, thick ropes of his cum. it drips down your cheeks, to your throat, your tits where you run a finger through the sticky liquid and put said finger in your mouth, tasting him on your tongue.
when you release the digit with a lewd pop! he chuckles, still breathing in heavy pants and runs a hand through his hair. "always such a naughty girl for me, hm? why don't you bend over the table so i can return the favor."

Note
You know those cheesy pasta dishes with all the fancy add-ins like heavy cream and garlic so we can all pretend to ourselves that we aren't just eating mac and cheese like overgrown children? What sort of equivalent dishes do the people of Tamriel enjoy, that are basically just dressed-up "kid food" dishes?
Who doesn't love a cheeky meal that brings back memories of childhood? Across Tamriel, you'll find all manner of simple, hearty foods that will make you feel like a kid again!
Altmer
In Summerset, young and old alike enjoy mochi, a tasty sweet snack made from chewy glutinous rice flour. Mochi comes in many varieties, with fillings like sweet peanut or black sesame paste. However, almost everyone's favourite is a cold mochi filled with soft gelato of various flavours. My favourite combination is matcha mochi wrapped around a moreish azuki bean ice cream centre.
Argonians
Is there anything that makes you feel more like a kid than some snacking? Argonians are huge fans of anything that packs a crunch, both sweet and savoury. Whether it's spicy and sweet crickets, dark saltrice sauce-coated mealworms, or just good old prawn crackers with some dipping sambal, be prepared to snack your way all day long in Black Marsh.
Bosmer
If you're one of those people who stands in the kitchen gnawing a block of cheese at midnight, you're in good company in Valenwood. A popular late-night treat served at street food vendors across the Province is a simple cup of grilled witchetty grubs slathered in timber mammoth cheese sauce and topped with pulled pork. The grubs are meaty in flavour, and the pungent timber mammoth cheese complements the pulled pork when mixed all together, as the locals enjoy it.
Bretons
Pain au chocolat? Yes please! These deliciously buttery puffed pastries are essentially rectangular croissants enveloping delicious dark chocolate. Served warm, they're sure to make any breakfast or teatime a happy one! To really satisfy those chocolate cravings, pair with a classic Breton hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows and whipped cream.
Dunmer
Marshmerrow cake is the ubiquitous Dunmeri dessert that has gained popularity far beyond the borders of Morrowind due to its mild flavour and unique candy aroma. A soft sponge cake, which is sometimes soaked in comberry brandy, is layered with sweet marshmerrow crème patissiere, caramelised marshmerrow crumble, and maraschino comberries. Sure to knock some years off your age and put a couple more holes in your belt (it's impossible to stop at one slice. Source: me).
Imperials
There's nothing quite like homemade gnocchi with ragout for Imperials when it comes to comfort food. While this homey dish is prevalent across Cyrodiil, every household cooks the dish differently. In mine, my mother pan-fries the gnocchi in an obnoxious amount of butter, and tops it with her top-secret slow-cooked lamb and red wine ragout. While I cannot give away the secrets to her ragout, I highly recommend trying this delicious dish a try when you need to warm yourself, body and soul.
Khajiit
If you think you can turn away cinnamon and cardamom churros with a cup of moon sugar caramel dip, you're deluding yourself. This delicious treat can be found across Elsweyr and is considered one of the Province's most famous foods. Khajiiti churros, which are made from a mix of rice and tapioca flour, have a moist and chewy texture beneath a crisp, golden brown outer layer. They're served hot from the wok, with a cup of moon sugar caramel syrup. A truly divine pairing!
Nords
Spätzle is something I've written about in the past, and it's one of the best things I know (ask any resident of Skyrim and they'd tell you the same). These chunky egg noodles may look unrefined compared to Khajiiti vermicelli, but make up for it when liberally doused in a creamy cheese sauce and topped with fried onions. I like spicing mine up, quite literally, with some chili powder I purchased at a Sentinel bazaar.
Orcs
Nothing screams comfort food (and mess) quite like a good old echatere sausage hot dog. The echatere sausage, rather akin to Blackwood chorizo in flavour, is grilled over hot coals and served in a sourdough bun, served Wrothgar style with a good amount of horseradish mayo, fried radish chips, caramelised onions, pickles, and crispy dried baby shrimp topping. I'd say you can't stop at just one, but it's a hefty meal you can eat with one hand!
Redguards
I have probably written about gulab jamun in the past, a delicious, albeit cloying dessert popular throughout Hammerfell. An iconic dish at festivals and parties, gulab jamun is prized by dessert-lovers for its velvety, syrupy texture. These fluffy balls of cardamom-scented cottage cheese are fried and soaked in a fragrant saffron and rose water syrup, and topped with crushed pistachios. So simple, so good, and so moreish. Just be sure to stop at three, because any more and the sugar rush will send you to Aetherius!

Lost in Inazuma 7
Characters: Thoma, Kamisato Ayato, Kamisato Ayaka
Genre: Sagau, gender neutral reader
TW: Violence, minor blood, panic attack, threats of self harm (mentioned)
2.3 k words
AN: This is a bit longer than usual, I hope you enjoy it. If you want to be added to the taglist, please interact with this post. There will be 2-3 more chapters.
Your role shifted from general servant to something close to a medic. Maybe ‘healer’ would be more accurate, considering that you had no real training.  You had guessed medicinal plants in Teyvat were just much more potent than the world you came from. Maybe they were, but not to the extent you assumed. Apparently you were uncommonly gifted. Your surprisingly effective night-time tea was proof enough.
Injuries were surprisingly common, though thankfully they tended to be minor. A burn, a scrape, various aches and pains. Sometimes a dislocated joint or a broken bone, but those were rarer. Winter was coming, and that meant colds and such. You handled them quickly so the sickness couldn’t spread.
And of course tea for the Kamisatos and Thoma. Ayato had recommended your tea to his sister and now that too was part of your routine. Clove tea for Thoma, a black tea and lavender blend for Ayato, and a cup for Ayaka. She didn’t have persisting health issues, so she allowed you to pick.
She smiled as you entered her office. “What will I be having today?”
“A chai tea from Sumeru.” You place the tray on a low table before kneeling next to the princess. “Any worries you'd like to vent?”
“No. Peace talks are progressing smoothly. One of the shogun’s men even gifted some mochi. I gave them to Thoma though, they were his favorite flavor.”
“What flavor would that be?”
“Black sesame. Maybe you could buy some on your next outing together.” She smiled.
If it was her brother speaking you would have understood it as teasing but she meant it completely genuinely. It didn’t help the blush on your face though. “I’ll definitely keep that in mind.”
“He seems happier now that you’re here. Not that he was unhappy before, but since you’ve arrived he’s been practically glowing.”
“I doubt it.” You waved off her comment.
“No, seriously!” She grabbed your hand. “Watch his expression when you enter the room to serve his tea. I guarantee you, his eyes will light up!”
“Alright. Speaking of which, I should go perform my duties.”
“Yes. And make sure my brother goes to sleep at a reasonable hour.”
“Of course, Lady Ayaka.” You bowed and left.
You quickly brewed another pot of tea and scurried off to the kitchen. “Thoma!” You called. The clatter of kitchenware stopped as the cooks turned to you.
“He decided to retire early for the night, he’s feeling a bit sick.” The head cook spoke matter of factly.
“How did you get him to stop working?” You asked, disbelieving.
“We threatened to send you to badger him and he went on his own.”
You laughed. “I’m not that scary, am I?”
“One could argue.”
“Really?! Fine. If I’m so scary, I bet none of you want to be treated by me anymore.”
“Please, we’re sorry!” One of the newer cooks cried out.
“I’m kidding, don’t worry. Thoma’s in his room, right?”
The head cook nodded and you were off.
You knocked on his door. “Thoma?” You kept your voice soft to avoid triggering a headache.
“Come in.” Thoma’s tired voice called from inside. He was lying on a tatami mat, his futon pulled to his chin. He kneaded his forehead with his hands.
“How are you feeling?” You knelt next to him and pressed a hand to his face. “You’re hot.”
“I’m what?” His face heated up even more.
“Your forehead’s burning up.”
“Oh.”
“What did you think I meant?”
“Nothing. Please don’t stay so close, you’ll catch it.” He tried to push you away gently.
“Don’t worry about me. Have you ever seen me sick?” You joked. It was true though, you hadn’t caught anything since you arrived in Teyvat. Maybe the microbes here couldn’t work with your biology. There were so many questions you had about these sorts of things but you doubted you could ever find the answer. Especially given the situation with the Shogun.
“No, but…”
“It’s my duty to treat you. Now, here’s your tea.” You poured him a cup and held it to his lips.
He averted his eyes as he drank it.
It took you a second to realize your position, bent over him and close enough to count his eye lashes.  “Sorry, I didn’t notice.” You sat up quickly to give him more space.
“Don’t worry about it. It’s getting late, you should probably get to Lord Ayato.”
“But you’re sick and…” You sighed. “I guess I’ll just check in with you tomorrow. Don’t be afraid to call for me if you need me before then.”
“I will, don’t worry about me.”
"Of course I do. It's not like you're quick to ask for help, otherwise I'd have been here earlier."
He smiled sheepishly. "I know, it's really not a big deal though."
"Please, just ask for help." You collected his cup and left.
Next was Ayato. He was always last due to the nature of his treatment. To be fair, he would probably be last even if you didn’t offer him sleep medication. He still scared you a little, despite knowing he wouldn’t hurt you.
“Good evening, commissioner.” You opened the door carefully.
“Good evening.” He raised his head and offered a small smile. “What time is it?”
“About eleven.”
“That late already?” He sighed. “There’s a few more papers that I need to sign…”
“No. You’ll get distracted by more and more work until it’s sunrise.” You objected.
His eyes narrowed slightly. “Talking back, are we?”
“I’m sorry sir, I just-”
“Don’t worry, I’m glad to hear you speak your mind, even in my presence.” You noticed the slightest smile on his face and the softness in his eyes you missed before.
“I’ll start brewing the tea then.”
He watched you like a hawk as you worked. You wondered if he blinked.
“There you go. Lots of sugar, the way you like.” You held out the cup but he ignored it, instead fixing his gaze on your mask.
“May I examine your mask?”
“Yes, sir.”
He leaned in closer and ran a finger over one edge. “It’s chipped. How long has it been like this?”
“A week, sir.”
“Did it happen during the… incident?”
You nodded.
He withdrew. “I’ll find a craftsman to fix it for you.”
“You really don’t have to.” You shook your head. “Plus, I wouldn’t be able to cover my face until it was fixed, and that might take awhile.”
“Then I’ll have an artisan make another one.”
“You don’t have to. My current mask still works.”
“Please allow me to do something to mend my mistakes. A nicer room, higher pay, anything you want within reason.”
“I don’t need anything. My room is fine as it is.” Its position allowed you to escape easily if you had to. “And I don’t need more things.” You wouldn’t be able to carry them when you fled.
“There has to be something.”
“There is.” You kept a firm grip on your voice to keep it from shaking. “But you can’t give it to me.”
“I’ll try.” Hope filled his voice.
“Please don’t.” You forced a smile. “I’m happy where I am. I’ll survive.”
“You can hope for more than survival. I won’t pressure you any further, but take my offer into consideration.”
“I will.” You touched the side of the tea cup. “I’ll warm up the milk, otherwise it will be cold.”
“It’s alright. You seem tired. Go rest.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course.”
“Could you drink it before I leave? So I can make sure you aren’t distracted by work.” You said it as politely as you could.
“A fair request. I did say I’d respect your wishes.” He drank it and as he drew his cup away you saw a faint smile. “Your teas truly are delightful.”
“Thank you, sir.”
You checked Thoma’s room before going to be. He was shivering. You pulled the blanket up to his neck, surprised he hadn’t woken when you entered. He must be a deep sleeper.
__________________________________________________________________-
You awoke to someone banging on your door. A wave of panic overtook you before you recognized his voice. It took another second to process what he was saying.
“Goldie, Thoma isn’t waking up, please, I’m begging you-”
You jumped to your feet and bolted out the door. The sound of blood in your ears drowned out everything else. You slipped as you rounded the corner. A flash of pain erupted on your leg before you stumbled to your feet and kept running.
Ayaka sat by Thoma, her face wet with tears. Besides her a small lantern dimly lit the small room. “You’re here.”
You didn’t respond to her words as you fell to your knees. You shook his shoulders. “Thoma, wake up.” He didn’t. Of course they’d already checked that. You leaned over his face and pressed a hand to his arteries. No breath tickled your cheek; he wasn’t breathing. His pulse was gone. If you were back home you would be dialing 911. That wasn’t an option here, so you did the next best thing. “Did you send someone to get a doctor?”
“Yes, but it will take at least thirty minutes for him to arrive.”
Not good, not good. “Help me move him to the tatami mat.” Your voice came out much more authoritative than you expected it to, but it succeeded in communicating the urgency of the matter. Ayaka was much stronger than she appeared, easily moving him. You positioned yourself next to him and placed your hands in the middle of his chest. “Trust me.” You said before pushing your full weight into his chest, feeling it give way under you. One. You lifted your hands allowing his chest to expand before pushing again. Two. Again. Three, four. You felt something crack under your hands. Five. The door opened. Six, seven. You hummed under your breath to keep time. Seven, eight. Someone was talking. Nine, ten. Everything faded away except for your counting. Thirty. You lifted his chin and pinched his nose. Two breaths and back to chest compressions.
Your wrists ached but you kept going. How many cycles was it? You weren’t keeping track. All you knew was that you were on the 29th compression and you were going to have to do breaths soon. Thirty and you adjusted his head for compressions. He blinked. He blinked! You could feel his breath on your face and a quick check confirmed his pulse was almost back to normal.
"You're back!" You cupped his face in your hands.
"Goldie?" His eyes were wide with shock.
"Yes?”
He tried to sit up and winced from the pain. You pushed him back down gently.
“Careful, your rib is broken.”
“What’s going on?”
“Your heart stopped. I had to compress it to force it to circulate the blood. Unfortunately I accidentally broke a few ribs. I didn’t expect you to wake up.”
“Was that not your goal?” Ayato’s voice joined the conversation.
“Not really.” You thought about how to explain it in a way he could understand. How advanced was medicine in Tevyat?. “It keeps the blood flowing so parts of the body don’t die. Usually the person doesn’t wake up until they are treated by a doctor.” You looked up at Ayato. “Does that make sense?”
He just stared at you, your mask held in one hand. Shoot.
“Please don’t hurt me.” You held your shaking hands up in surrender. “Just let me go, I promise to never come back. Just don’t tell the shogun.”
Ayato gaze narrowed in on your forearms. They had been exposed when you lifted your hand, revealing branching, purple scars. “How did you get these?”
Before you could answer, Thoma called out from behind you. “They’re bleeding.”
No, no, no. You scrambled to cover the wound. It must be a friction burn from when you slipped.
“There are guards outside.” Ayato started, stepping closed as you moved away. “You are–”
You kicked out with your uninjured leg. “You’re going to hurt me!”
“No, I promise—” He just wanted to calm down so you’d be easier to catch.
“You’re going to send me to her!” Your fingers felt metal. A sword. “I won’t let you.” You held the weapon in front of yourself. It shook, your inexperience showing clearly.
“You’re going to hurt yourself!” Ayaka cried, panic evident in her eyes, a panic shared by everyone in the room.
“I will.” You dropped the edge of the sword to your thigh. “If you come closer I will.”
“We won’t hurt , I swear. Just please let me treat you.” Thoma held out his open hand.
You moved closer and extended your leg to allow him to reach. He touched you carefully, as if you were made of glass. Your blood gleamed gold under the light of the lamp. You dared to look at the Kamisatos. They didn’t look angry, you realized. They looked scared, horrified even.
Ayato interrupted the silence. “Who did this to you?”
“Did what?” You asked softly, your voice raspy from yelling.
“Your scars…”
“The shogun. Her lightning-” You trailed off, unable to continue. “Please don’t turn me in.”
“I have no intention of doing so. As our god, it is our duty to protect you.”
You laughed. “A god? I wouldn’t be here if I was a god.”
“No matter what you think, I’ll find a way to prove it to you.” Thoma said, his hand cautiously drifting closer to you.
“Please stay. We’ll take care of you.” Ayato offered.
“Promise?”
“Yes. I swear on my life that no harm will come to you.” Ayato placed a hand on his chest. “The doctor will come soon, rest in my room while he’s here.”

KABOCHA MOCHI LOAF!!!!! with sesame coconut topping.
this was originally going to be pumpkin mochi loaf with black sesame swirl which i saw someone on tumblr reblog the recipe for and i was like i need that in my mouth immediately—and because one of my friends is gluten free i’ve been looking for more gf recipes—but plans changed. Namely because in japan they do not really have pumpkin anywhere! definitely not canned pumpkin, but that was OK because i got to roast this kabocha and gut it and toast the seeds (which did not taste very good but maybe that was user error and not gourd variation).
kabocha is kinda like pumpkin in that it’s a gourd and also when i went to the grocery store and saw it with a sign that said happy halloween next to it i assumed it was pumpkin. technically kobocha is any kind of winter squash (so it can be a western pumpkin!) but this was definitely a little different than what i was expecting.
side note: i love the words gourd and squash! like what do you mean gourd and squash? you’re making squash bread? are you gonna squash it? gorge on some gourd, why don’t you?
i didn’t want to acquire black sesame when i had regular sesame at home and they taste the same so i just used what i had! also could not properly grind up the sesame (though i tried in the blender and with a rolling pin (neither worked)) so we improvised and it was yum sooooo
anyways, this was made for tokyo film nightttt! which we left way too early after but was fun. we watched “the thing” which i still need to think about some more. some crazy parts and some insane special effects.
showed up with half of this loaf gone though because i maybe had a piece or two before everyone else… and because i gave a slice to liz who was feeling sick! but worry not because everyone got goodies and treats and there was enough of this warm seasonal gourdy squashed bread to go around.

kimchi welcomed me by hopping into my luggage. earlier this year, sometime in the spring, my little sister adopted a little brother for kimchi whom she named junie. both she and her girlfriend work from home and kimchi needed a companion while they were busy. coincidentally, kimchi shares a birthday with my twin and i and junie shares an april aries birthday with my little sister.
to thank my little sister for hosting me, i got her a print from sf zine fest from this creator which junie has ofc claimed as his own. she wants to frame more prints bc junie ripped all the previous posters off the walls that she had simply put up with blu-tack. at her recommendation, i also stopped by bake sum and bought pastries to share. junie is taking a sniff of their coconut mango mooncake which is one of the mooncakes in their set that's available for order. other things i fetched were the jasmine milk tea bun (mint green swirl), thai tea mochi bites, black sesame snickerdoodle and hojicha double chocolate cookies. the sesame snickerdoodle was chewier and idk if it had mochi or rice flour in it but it was reminiscent of that. the hojicha double chocolate was crunchier and reminded me of crinkle cookies that one usually sees around christmas.

@psychcdelica asked: 🍦 totally an Ibuki and Sonia thing to do
Everything is fun with you meme - Still accepting!
"Look at it!" Sonia exclaimed. Sitting across from Ibuki at the ice cream parlor, it had been the Ultimate Musician who had offered to accompany Sonia for a sweet treat. Sonia had missed the gelato of home: hazelnut and pistachio and all sorts of chocolate in so many different ways and intensities throughout frozen desserts, and while she knew Japan likely wouldn't be blessed with gelato al bacio or dulce de leche, she would certainly find something delicious.
What she'd chosen was a parfait where black sesame soft serve was the star of the show. Layered with slices of mochi, corn cereal, and chunks of pound cake, all of it was drizzled in a syrup so dark it was nearly black. Shadows against the ice cream itself, an asphalt grey topped with whipped cream and a few sticks of chocolate Pocky. Besides the cereal and cake, the dessert was in shades of black, grey, and white, a departure from the usual colorful and overly cute desserts Sonia was accustomed to, especially around her classmates.
Tumblr media
"It is grey, Mioda-san! I had no idea ice cream came in such a color, how extraordinary!" She grinned as the server left the girls and their ice cream be. Sonia was glad that Ibuki didn't mind bending the rules as to what constituted dinner: they could have a savory meal later. For now, Sonia had a towering parfait to devour. "Though I admit I am quite flummoxed in how black sesame could be considered a sweet. Did you know that there are shops in Japan that even sell fish-flavored ice cream? And wasabi-flavored ice cream? That is very adventurous indeed, but I am quite content with a black ice cream. It appears quite gothic, does it not? The sort of flavor supernatural beings would enjoy, if they are able to enjoy the delights of an ice cream. I certainly hope so, if they are corporeal."
Ghosts, she figured, were not so lucky but certainly the likes of witches and demons could indulge in such a dark and disturbing flavor. But she was very much alive, and would dip her spoon into the top of the whipped cream to taste it first. Light, fluffy, and delicious: Sonia hummed in delight, looking over at Ibuki. "Which flavor did you choose, again? I want to try many of the unique flavors here, though perhaps not the fish ones. That does not sound terribly appetizing."

RECIPE: Mochi Doughnuts (From Win Son Presents A Taiwanese American Cookbook by Josh Ku, Trigg Brown, and Cathy Erway)
Taiwan is famous for Q or QQ textures, which may be best translated as “Bouncy” or “Springy.” Think boba, gummy bears, and mochi, a sticky rice treat popular throughout East Asia. These doughnuts are made with sticky rice flour for a chewy bite that stretches in a very Q way. Mochi doughnuts are definitely a thing in Taiwan, and Danielle really gravitated to the ones she sampled throughout Taiwan, having made many fried doughnuts fresh to order in her time at Craft, working under doughnut and overall pastry legend Karen DeMasco.
In Tainan, we also sampled mochi doughnuts made with millet flour in addition to sticky rice flour, and Danielle was eager to start recipe-testing as soon as she returned. She landed on this formula that’s satisfyingly QQ, delicious, and also completely gluten-free. Once they’re out of the fryer, they can be coated with sugar and your choice of additional seasonings—at Win Son Bakery, we love a classic sugar and cinnamon topping, but you can add to yours some toasted and ground black sesame seeds, ground black cardamom, ground ginger, and any other spices you love. Or just toss them with sugar—sometimes that’s all you need.
Makes about 12
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BATTER:
5 cups (800 g) glutinous rice flour
1½ cups (165 g) millet flour
12⁄3 cups (335 g) sugar
1⁄3 cup (65 g) baking powder
3 tablespoons salt
3 cups (720 ml) whole milk
1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
6 eggs
FOR SHAPING AND FRYING:
2 quarts (2 L) neutral oil for frying, such as soybean
1/4 cup (40 g) glutinous rice flour, plus more for cutting out the donuts
TO FINISH:
1 cup (200 g) sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon (optional)
MAKE THE BATTER: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine all of the ingredients for the batter and mix with the paddle attachment until a smooth dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
SHAPE AND FRY THE DOUGH: In a fryer or Dutch oven, preheat the oil to 325°F (165°C), when measured with a candy thermometer.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup (40 g) rice flour on a flat surface and on top of the dough and roll it out until it’s about ½ inch (12 mm) thick. Cut doughnuts about 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter using a doughnut cutter, concentric cookie cutters, or a drinking glass and a shot glass, flouring the cutters to avoid sticking. Combine the leftover pieces and roll out the dough again into a ½-inch-thick (12 mm) layer as many times as possible, to create as many doughnuts as you can.
Work in batches so as not to overcrowd the fryer. Once the oil is up to temperature, gently place as many doughnuts as will comfortably fit into the oil and allow to fry for 3 minutes before carefully turning them over. Fry the other side for 3 minutes and drain on a cooling rack with something underneath to catch any excess oil.
To finish, on a plate, mix the sugar and cinnamon, if using. Toss the doughnuts with the mixture and serve immediately.

A modern, brashly flavorful guide to cooking Taiwanese-American food, from Brooklyn’s lauded Win Son, Win Son Bakery, and Cathy Erway, celebrated writer and expert on the cuisine.
Josh Ku, born in Queens to parents from southern Taiwan, and Trigg Brown, a native Virginian whose mentor was a Taiwanese-American chef, forged a friendship over food—specifically, excellent tsang ying tou, or "flies’ head," a dish of chopped budding chives kissed with pork fat. Their obsession with Taiwanese food and culture propelled them to open Win Son together in 2016. The East Williamsburg restaurant quickly established itself as a destination and often incurs long waits for their vibrant and flavorful Taiwanese-American cuisine.
Ku and Brown have teamed up with Cathy Erway, Taiwanese food expert and celebrated writer, to create this book which explores and celebrates the cuisine of Taiwan and its ever-simmering pot of creative influences. Told through the eyes, taste buds, travels, and busy lives of Ku, Brown, and Erway, this book brings the cuisine of this misunderstood island nation into the spotlight. With 100 creative, yet accessible recipes, this book will unravel the history of this diaspora cuisine. While featuring classic dishes and well-known favorites, this cookbook also stretches this cuisine's definition, introducing new dishes with brazen twists that are fun, flavorful, and decidedly American-born in style.

A Non-Comprehensive List of "Foods That Don't Really Exist In Australia Compared to America" In My Experience Thus Far
(Some of these you can find at specialty US food/import stores if you're lucky though!)
Saltine crackers
Graham crackers
Yellow/orange mac and cheese. It is white-ish here, comes in a smaller quantity but costs more, and does not taste the same. I tried making it like I would back home and my partner said "This slaps!" but I thought it was kinda dreadful :x
Twizzlers. Okay a lot of American candies are going to be missing but this is the one that hurts me most. Like, oh no they don't have Mike & Ikes- who the fuck cares.
Funky ice cream flavours in tubs. Australia does ice cream treats really well, you are pretty much guaranteed delicious results if it is individually wrapped. But anything outside of basic vanilla (which tastes VERY different from any American vanilla ice cream I've ever had in my life), chocolate, and neapolitan in a tub is gonna be goddamn scarce. I have managed to track down mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream but they were gross. Anything more complex- think moose tracks, chocolate cherry chip, brownie, rocky road, cookie dough, etc- you are shit out of luck my friend because if they do exist here they come in specialty brand pints exclusively and they are at least $12 a pop, kys
Jif peanut butter
Breakfast or "country" sausages. I actually had no idea that was exclusively an American thing until I moved here. No one knows what I'm talking about and I just gesture helplessly when they ask for details because I don't know what's in those either! I've never had to think about it before! But I better find out 'cause it's time to start making them myself. Send help.
(Good) Mexican food, just as a whole -_-;
Root beer. For some reason they have Ginger Beer but not Ginger Ale and I swear there is a difference but it probably doesn't matter
Ranch dressing?? I'm a good midwestern girl what is this fresh hell
Cheez-its, cheetos, cheez whiz, goldfish crackers- most salty cheese snacks. Your average grocery chain like Woolies or Coles isn't gonna have these and it's a little weird.
Fruit snacks. Presumably because they don't have enough fruit for Australia to legally call them that. I have found some at Costco but that's about it. Side note, the Kirkland chocolate chips bag says "Great for baking and snacking" so they've manually put a plain white sticker with black text over it that says "Great for baking and cooking" :')
Egg rolls. Actually most Chinese American food which. Okay that makes sense now that I think about it but orange chicken my beloved... crab rangoon... egg rolls... They do have "spring rolls" but they are kinda shit! Korean food is everywhere though and it is goddamn delicious. Oh and you can get mochi ice cream 10 for $10 at Coles. There's limited flavours obviously but they have strawberry and mango and that is all that matters tbqh (black sesame is a 0/10, truly awful)
Tumblr media
Fritos/corn chips. Tortilla chips exist but are more expensive than you'd expect, and the "Hispanic" section of the grocery store is like. A shelf. Bitches don't even have crema smh
Velveeta
Cool whip
Not a food but Tums or even really generic antacid tablets- I cannot find them anywhere
If we're including not-foods all of a sudden: cardstock.
Candy corn
Lemonade. Australians will insist they have lemonade but it is fucking carbonated!! I'm like no no it's not supposed to be fizzy, it's not like a Sprite. "So it's just lemon and sugar water...?" Yes!!! God!!
Specifically this type of noodle:
Tumblr media
Almond bark
Maraschino cherries
Trail mix
And your reactions will vary wildly between "Eh. That's fair." and "Oh dear god, please tell me the US import store takes requests."

SHE'S A WH♡RE! I L♡VE IT! ♡ NANAMI KENTO
what's it? smut
allergen warning/s? fem!reader, sub!reader, pain play, mentions of biting, fingering, name calling [whore, slut], degradation, choking, impact play [slapping]
regulars? @sugusshi [send me an ask if you want to be added/removed from the taglist]
sugar level? 0.6k
bon appetit!
Tumblr media
nanami kento who, at the start of your relationship, tells you to not hesitate to tell him if you want to indulge in one of your kinks.
nanami kento who always looks at you with pride, at the things you have done, and the things you have accomplished.
nanami kento who's always been so supportive of everything you do, both with your work as a jujutsu sorcerer, and your habits and hobbies outside of your line of work.
nanami kento who's hesitant when you first tell him about how you're into pain play. he bites his lip and looks away, gears turning in his head. he most he's ever done for a masochistic partner was choking and biting. he's not really sure how to engage when you wanted him to slap you around and manhandle you around the room like a ragdoll.
nanami kento who nods after mulling it over for a few seconds. "but i'll do my research on it, and we must establish our boundaries first, okay, sweetheart?"
nanami kento who's so awestruck by how nice and warm you are when you nodded at him, "of course, kento. take all the time you need."
nanami kento who can't believe his eyes that the person whom has always greeted him with the sweetest kiss good morning is the same person that is currently whining and wriggling in his hold.
"tighter," you gasp out.
one of nanami's hands was wrapped around your throat, yet as he complied with your request, your eyes simply rolled to the back of your head and the small o of your mouth widened as you gasped. two of his thick, calloused fingers were buried deep inside your cunt, so he felt the way your pussy spasmed around his wet digits.
"such a whore," he commented, shaking his head. "i didn't realize i have a slut for a girlfriend." the way he said it was harsh, cruel. it should have made you tear up in disbelief. maybe you'd push him away with an i can't believe you just said that! but it doesn't. instead, it leaves you whining, grinding down on his fingers that never moved. their only purpose was to tease you, give you a taste of what you could have in a span of minutes, or hours. depending on how your boyfriend was feeling, if he wanted to be especially mean to you or not.
his hand on your neck loosened for a moment, before letting go of the sensitive body part completely. you couldn't help the way your bottom lip jutted out in a pout -- it was second nature to you after he'd taken away something so desirable.
you were about to open your mouth and complain; be a brat about nanami stripping the pleasurable pressure on your neck away from you, but before you could utter a single word, you feel a sharp sting on the side of your face; your cheek.
despite it being unexpected, and the first - of hopefully many - slap that was delivered to you, your pussy tightened around nanami's appendages all the same. in fact, you thought it was better because of how you didn't see it coming.
the impact set your nerves on fire. he had barely touched you, yet you were already on the verge of cumming in the pretty pink cotton panties nanami had just pushed to the side to have access to your pussy.
you were in a daze, eyes cloudy and seemingly in a white, mist-like haze, barely able to catch the way nanami hissed at your reaction. "you get off to this? you're just as bad as the common whore."

i get: reblog
you get: nanami's tie

Got around to visiting Butterdose in the East Village to try their creme puffs! They have a selection of flavors that rotate based on the season so I just got one of each, including the matcha (with red bean, matcha cream & mochi), rose lychee (with lychee cream, rose cream & rose jelly), chocolate banana (with a caramelized banana slice and cocoa cream), goma (with sesame tuiles and black sesame cream), strawberry sakura (with strawberry cream, strawberry mochi and sakura paste), tiramisu (with a chocolate coated coffee bean, mocha cream, mascarpone filling, and a ladyfinger), ube coconut (with toasted coconut flakes, ube cream & coconut jelly) and yuzu (with lime zest, lemon cream, yuzu jelly & yuzu cream). My personal faves were the ube coconut, tiramisu and strawberry sakura creme puffs though I also picked up a yuzu matcha donut for my friend as well!

Black Sesame Mochi Cookies (Gluten Free)
https://onehappybite.com/black-sesame-mochi-cookies-gluten-free/#tasty-recipes-2455-jump-target
Ingredients
2 ½ cup gluten free flour (or all purpose flour)
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 ½ cup black sesame paste (store bought or homemade)
MOCHI
⅔ cup glutinous rice flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
⅔ cup milk
Instructions
MOCHI
In a microwave-safe bowl, add glutinous rice flour, sugar, and milk together. Whisk together until no lumps.
Microwave on high for about 2 minutes. Then use a spatula to mix and separate mochi from the side of the bowl (very sticky and hot, be careful!). Let cool for 10 minutes.
Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. Separate mochi into 18 equal portions and roll them into balls. Set aside.
BLACK SESAME COOKIES
In a large mixing bowl, add butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Using a electric mixer with paddle attachment, beat butter and sugars together until smooth and creamy. Then add eggs, one at a time. Then add black sesame paste and continue mixing until combined.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
Add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mix until just combined.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or grease with cooking spray.
ASSEMBLY: Take 2 tbsp of chilled cookie dough, roll into a ball, flatten it out, and make a dent in the middle. Top with a mochi ball, then use your hands to seal the dough edges around mochi until it is completely covered. Add some black sesame seeds on top if desired. Repeat until all dough is used (yield about 18 cookies).
Place cookies onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-13 minutes or until the edges of cookies are set. Let cool for 10-15 on the baking sheet before transferring to the cooling rack. Enjoy!

Straight outta Japan~🌸 (pt. 1)
Guess who’s back?!!
I just arrived at my home country from my week long trip to Japan for my birthday!! So here’s some photo dump about my weeb adventures in Japan~
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN~
This is definitely one of the first things I put in my vacation itinerary cause there’s no way I’m missing out on their JJK attraction!!
Tumblr media
This is like a 4D cinema ride where an original JJK story was animated just for it! There wasn’t any subtitles throughout the ride sadly but from what I got, it seems that there is going to be an Osaka branch of the Jujutsu school and there’s seem to be some foul play involved which prompted our main trio Yuji, Megumi and Nobara to investigate the sketchy principal.
Tumblr media
The story is actually very interesting and there’s some potential for expansion so I’m thinking of including it in my fanfic, Plane of Absolution! Maybe in like a future arc where Makoto/Kamui gets to investigate it along with the main trio or something? Who knows! That’s still a long way to go since we’re barely in the beginning!
And of course the merch!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I managed to get Satoru’s popcorn holder but it was so expensive at ¥4,500! I wasn’t able to get Yuuji’s drink bottle or else I’d go over budget but it looked something like this.
Tumblr media
It was a bit cheaper than the popcorn holder at ¥2,500 if I remember correctly but I’d go broke if I bought it lol so I settled with the one I got lol(┬┬_┬┬)
Tumblr media
Since JJK was one of their main attraction, there’s an exclusive merch store for it right next to the 4D theater!! I didn’t get to shop anything in it though since as always, theme park prices are insane! I can get better price deals in Akihabara!! ಥ‿ಥ
But anyways here are some pics inside it~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course the food!! There were tons of JJK themed food in USJ as well, there was the casual snack place and the other one was the Dining Hall where Gojo’s realistic life size statue is located!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s the snack bar where you can buy light snacks and its located right across the cinema so it’s hard to miss.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course! The big daddy of them all- the Dining Hall!!
This one is a little further than where every other JJK attraction was located; it’s closer the the Spiderman ride, just a block away from it. I couldn’t even spot it tbh, it was so lowkey! I had to ask a staff where it was cause I was genuinely lost!
There’s actually a roleplaying going on here, it goes with how the customers are alumni’s of Jujutsu tech and is being welcomed by the students in the Dining Hall in a get-together arranged by Gojo-sensei!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wasn’t able to take pictures of the outside since I was so hungry already I just want to eat lol!!  o((*^▽^*))o
I’m ngl, the food was really expensive! Ranging from ¥3,000- ¥4000 yen, and that’s not even including the pictures with Gojo-sensei!! You are definitely paying for the experience!
It was so expensive actually that my other family left to find cheaper food lol and since they weren’t really fans of JJK there was no point to eat here really. My rich aunt was the only one who stayed with me since she’s the one with the nice phone to help me take pics inside!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I ended up ordering this sushi set- according to the waiter Megumi cooked this for me!!  ٩(*•͈ ꇴ •͈*)و ̑̑❀
It cost around  ¥3,700 yen and according to the website my orders consists of :
Assorted Sushi (Sardine, Greater Amberjack, Sea Bream, Squid, Sweet Shrimp),Scallop and Lotus Root with Ginger-Kiwi Vinegar, Meatballs simmered with Ginger, Assorted Tempura (Pork & Julienned Ginger, Mochi, Shishito Pepper),White and Black Sesame Tofu, Black Soybeans with Cream Cheese, Seedless Grapes with Mashed Tofu, Roasted Green Onion with Green Pepper Miso, Grilled Turban in the Shell, and Miso Soup.
The meal is honestly delicious and definitely tasted expensive! Would I buy it again? No lol but it’s definitely a must experience if you are a fan of JJK!
Tumblr media
My aunt ended up ordering the Yuji special as well as the Tapioca Lemonade Tea that came with a free random character coaster! She managed to get Gojo and decided to give it to me!!
Tumblr media
I’m not sure which character was the drink for but on the other hand these are the menu for the Yuji special!
Tempura Rice Bowl (Conger Eel, Shrimp, Sillago, Pumpkin, Shishito Pepper, Maitake Mushroom, Red Pickled Ginger), Hot Somen Noodles, and Side Dishes (Beef Tongue with Yam, Pickled Radish with Tofu Paste)
Just quick note, but the Yuji meal was HUGE!! I was so surprised when the waitress came with the order! I guess it make sense since Yuji looks like the type to be a big eater >.<
Tumblr media
Now to the main event of the Dining Hall- meeting Gojo-sensei!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s a life-size Gojo statue inside the dining hall which is the main reason why you want to eat there in the first place- esp with their expensive menu! The chance to meet Gojo-sensei!!
The statue was so realistic its kinda creepy >3< ! You can see its pores and I lowkey expect it to breathe lol~~
You can only enter the restaurant if you are buying a meal and it actually make sense why they are limiting the amount of people since the statue is fragile and you’re not even allowed to touch it!
The photos are really expensive guys! It at ¥2,500 yen for the set of 3 photos! The first 2 is your choice of the ready made Gojo pictures and the third one is your picture with him. And there’s only really 2 poses you can do with him since the people there don’t want you touching the statue- its either the pointing pose (which is the one picked) and the peace sign pose.
The staff there will allow you only 1 photo with your personal phone/camera but everything else, you have to purchase lol~
Tumblr media
and of course the anya sticker for censorship lol, I don’t want to doxx myself! Σ(゚Д゚;)
Tumblr media
The photoset comes in a foldable photobook like this~
After paying for your meal at the cashier you can approach the lady there and inform her about your picture purchase. She will guide you with a tablet to help you pick which pictures you liked and the lady at the elevator will give you your photobook. They all speak conversational English as well, so definitely foreigner friendly!
After purchasing it, they will give you the receipt where you can claim a digital copy of your photos using a link to their website with an exclusive password listed on it. You have to claim the photos immediately though since it will only last a month in the USJ database and can only be claimed while your IN Japan, so foreign tourists really need to claim it immediately before they leave the country.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are also other JJK attraction like the Hollywood Dream x JJK ride- there wasn’t really any JJK pictures there so I didn’t bother taking any but I did ride it! The ride has this gimmick of allowing the riders their option of music to listen to while riding the roller coaster and one of the songs there is Kaikai Kitan by Eve which is the OP for JJK!
It was so fun actually and definitely a great and energetic song to ride a roller coaster to!
Another attraction is the Jaws photo opportunity x JJK where you can choose a JJK frame to accompany your photo with the Jaws shark. I wasn’t really interested in it cause it was expensive af lol!!
If any of y’all want to experience this, y’all better hurry up since this attraction is only up until this July 2023!!
Was it expensive? Yes.
Was it worth the money? Hell yeah!
