Femreader, just wholesome stuff, hurt/comfort, a little bit suggestive?? (he touched your boobie omg)

-In his 'real' character, Hifumi is quite energetic and talkative, so it doesn't matter if you're a shy one or as bubbly as he is - you ended up being friends anyway.

-Maybe just bump into each other in a store and suddenly have a whole talk about a new product you both decide to buy. Ahh, Hifumi knows a few good recipes with this thing, and he's always willing to share his cooking secrets!

-Or maybe you visit his work to pick up your friend late at night and he thinks that you're just her brother or boyfriend, and another, simple conversation goes between you two.

-It doesn't really matter as Hifumi is just really friendly in both his modes, especially if you would respond back with interest.

-Cause it seems his fear is more concentrated not around appearance or behavior, but the fact that it's actually a woman in front of him, due to the manga, so he easily can take your look at face value. (referring to this chapter when he and Doppo meet a little boyish girl, and he thinks it's a boy.)

+It also probably means if he met a really 'feminine' boy, he, once again, wouldn't be scared by his look, if he knew it's a male??

-So even if you, despite short hair and rather baggy clothes, have pretty soft face features or a feminine voice, he doesn't really care, absolutely sure you are an ally, a man.

-He never even doubts it, actually - you just know how to win people over, do you? Because Hifumi really got interested in you pretty soon.

-"Hey, s/o, s/o, wanna go with me and Jakurai-sensei fishing?! It's so so fun!!" - with a cheerful giggle he holds both of your hands and starts jumping in place, causing your arms to wiggle up and down along with his movements. - "And then we can go to my place, I want to cook our catch immediately, hehe!"

-So yea, chilling in his shared house with Doppo was kinda common thing for you.. And if in the beginning you felt kinda guilty for literally taking advantage of your pretty boylike appearance and Hifumi's naiveness, you quickly forget about this. Because he always knows how to make you forget about everything, fooling around and making you laugh with his goofy antics.

-The only moments when you do feel yourself like a criminal are evenings when your ebullient friend gets more quiet, just cuddling with you and sharing his thoughts about his fear. It was so hard sometimes even for someone so careless as him, and he loves to find peace in your arms and soothing words.

-You do understand this cannot go on forever, and ideas about how to finally tell the truth without hurting his feelings too much keep shooting through your mind. Yet uh oh, the solving of your crime happened before you were able to choose your own way.

-Because.. Hifumi is so reckless in his desire to have some fun with you, and sometimes he gets too clingy. Only in a friendly, playful way, yet it doesn't mean his hands can't accidentally brush against your chest during some tickle fight..

"N-no, Hifumi, really, I'm gonna die like that..!" - A small weak chuckle bursts out of your chest as you run away from your friend, holding your sides.

"He~he, I'm gonna catch you again..!" - his footsteps quickly get closer as he catches up with you and grabs your shoulders, pushing down.

With a little thud you both fall into the carpet, giggling and fighting, hands on each other's waist. Your guard got down and you didn't even try to watch if your baggy clothes actually cover your body, too busy with making Hifumi laugh. So when another fit of laughter covers him and his arms, trembling, accidently moved from your waist to your chest, grasping here, you both gasps and froze, shocked.

It's even hard to say whose face gets redder as you just look at each other for a moment, before Hifumi sprang away like a scared deer to the other side of the room, leaning to the table leg, still looking at your widened eyes. Open his mouth, then close, then open again, and you didn't notice that you actually repeated his actions, but also didn't know what to say, both embarrassed and scared.

"I..Hifu-"

"Are you a girl???" - with a high pitched voice he tries to get up just to hit the table top.

"Omg, Hifumi, are you alright?!"

And despite you probably should move away, you actually get closer to his now sobbing figure as he grasps poor hitted the back of his head. Your hands caress his shoulder and for a moment Hifumi whines, as this simple touch arises one of the most strange feelings in his chest. The pain gripped him at the heart from the thought of the woman being actually so close to him, yet the way you pet him was still so reassuring.. Still so familiar.

"Hifumi, I will bring some ice, okay? Does it actually hurt that much? Should I call an ambulance?" - and your worried voice still sounds so soft. His fear always affects his mind, making any sounds from girls around Hifumi sound so sharp and dangerous, yet there is nothing like that with you, as he gets too used to your presence.

His head doesn't even hurt that much, actually, yet here he is, leaning to your shoulder and sobbing in a weak attempt to hide his face. Because it would be too hard to look at your face right now, as Hifumi himself doesn't know what to say. He's afraid, but doesn't want to lose you. As only now he suddenly asks his own feelings and realizes just how deep you actually get into his soul and heart.

"Hifumi..?" - you slowly tried to pull him away to look at his face and finally bring some ice from the kitchen, yet his arms quickly wrapped around your waist as he buried his face in your neck.

"No.. Let's sit like that for a moment.." - his whole body tremble, making his weak voice a little shaky too, yet you didn't push him off, trying to stroke his hunched shoulders as light and soft as you could.

-You thought that after such a terrible accident your friend would totally break off all communication with you, and honestly you can't even judge him, putting all guilt on your own shoulders.

-Yet after a few days he will show up again, asking you shyly to help him in fear. Well, maybe not in a really good way he found out about you being a girl, but the main thing is that he can spend much more time around you then around other females, so it means you kinda can help him health.

-So slowly everything goes back to your normal routine, as you would going for walks or hanging out in his place again. For the new beginning you were pretty soft and careful, as Hifumi also got more coy, touching you much less than usual.

-Only thoughts about you always being so friendly and harmless with him fills him with determination, and after some time you both get used to each other again.

-Or.. Do you? As sometimes you can notice some sort of blush on his cheeks when you sit too close for a long time, watching something together, and when you touch his hands his fingers start to tremble but Hifumi himself didn't act scared..

-Confusing, you just let things go, waiting to see what it will lead to. Cause maybe, just maybe, you feel some sort of interest in him, more than a friendly one, that you always try to suppress, knowing his fear.

-But with such careless attitude you both didn't notice when everything got so serious, and one day another movie night ended up with a soft kiss. And then another, longer one, as Hifumi realizes your lips didn't electrocute him, but actually lure him to feel your softness more.

-"S/o.. I.." - he mumbled after you pulled away, breathing heavily and trying to stop blushing so hard. - "I think I love you.. C-can you stay overnight? I need to kiss you more to fully understand.."

but you do. it’s hard to miss the feel of another hand against yours of course, especially when it comes to jakurai. his are unique, in your mind, the way they’re a little bony yet soft. his grip is slight and ghostly, perhaps, but you still feel it. his touch may be light, but it’s still certainly warm. it was your favorite touch after all.

and jakurai realizes that you noticed when you grip his hand tighter, when you make him aware. it’s like you knew he’d let go so soon, too soon, and you didn’t want that. you’d caught him red-handed (literally speaking).

ah, so you knew? jakurai smiles, thinking of how foolish he was to think that you would not notice. it’s, perhaps, a bit embarrassing for him, only because he was caught trying to hold your hand without you knowing. hm, maybe his skills have gotten a little rusty, no longer quite as silent as he’d thought.

“the fireworks are pretty,” you tell him afterward, walking hand-in-hand back to the station. you wouldn’t tell, but you’re relishing in the fact that jakurai held your hand; you weren’t going to let go of that anytime soon. “i didn’t even know shinjuku had winter fireworks when i first came here.”

“they have it every weekend at times,” he smiles at you. he’s still too fixated on your grip, however. “i’ll take you there next week as well.”

you could never say no to another date, i mean. and hopefully jakurai would sneakily put his hand in yours. you’d probably pretend like you didn’t realize next time around.

scenarios are. Oh gosh okay i love. Control. I want to crush him like a bug i NEED to see him crack so i dont really care too much about the cause but GOSH having to power through a shitty (emotionally and physically) day WITH the added pressure of a whole ass fake persona on top of everything else. Anyways im putting peak himbo hifumi out of commission bc of some virus that has been going around in his workplace. And doppo is fucking fighting for his life bc hifumi always does all the housework and cooking (CANONICALLY. im never getting over these two) and 'oh my god what does a sick person even need like are you joking ive never taken a sick day in my life and you expect me to take care of another person????' My inability to just not ship

I confessed this ...probably on LJ (eeeeee) ... that I can't help myself. I can't. I love platonic friendships. I love characters that don't need to be in a relationship. I do.

But I love shipping more, apparently, because if two characters click, and I think they have chemistry, I am all in. And then, eventually, a ship will have such a grip on me that I must write.

I just deleted a long boring ramble on Gundam Wing and Yu Yu Hakusho and am jumping to Fairy Tail mainly because my first ship in that fandom reminds me of the very reason I ship SamaIchi.

Very early on in Fairy Tail, we see Jellal and Erza, although he was Siegrain at the time. He leaned in and said something to her, and I was like "they have history. I ship it."

and then the anime decided to fuel that ship here and there.

So in the anime, with very little to go on other than knowing who the members of The Dirty Dawg were and seeing that Samatoki and Ichiro had beef with each other, and both things were related to their siblings, and seeing how they were with their teams - again - these two have history, I ship it (saying farewell to Samatoki/Jyuto who I shipped for like a hot minute).

By the end of the anime, I had the following ships:

SamaIchi (see above)

JakuRamu (because Gentaro said, in the ghost episode, that sometimes a person will say they hate the thing that they love, and I felt it was prophetic when I heard Ramuda said he hated Jakurai. Also there's history there - and to me, Ramuda was morally ambiguous and interesting and in over his head).

Hifudo (AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES)

GenDice (Gentaro trolling Dice but also having a good relationship with him, yeah, I'm sold)

And then everything I saw/read/watched from then on afterwards fueled these ships. I can't ship Samatoki with Sasara because Sasara and Rosho are too DO NOT SEPARATE - I mean, look at them. I get the Ichiro / Kuko ship, definitely, and they were friends before Samatoki and Ichiro were, but there's something with Samatoki and Ichiro's friendship that grips me more - and then when new four-person MCD went out and we saw how alike Samatoki and Ichiro are in ways besides being big brothers doing what they think is best for their family? I admit to having my SamaIchi goggles on when I see them together but I feel their dynamic makes it work.

As an aside, Samatoki crying when Sasara left him? My heart. Breakups are hard.

Setting ships aside, I'm gonna touch on how my fave characters shuffled a bit.

Initially, Doppo was my fave (he's a whole mood and he needs a hug). By the end of the anime, though, it was Ramuda (see JakuRamu above). Knowing nothing about the manga/drama tracks/songs, it was Ramuda with no competition.

And although Fling Posse was my fave division, and I adored Gentaro with his theater kid vibes, and Dice for being Dice, it was still Doppo and Hifumi jockeying for 2nd and 3rd place - until Gentaro and Dice took those spots. And then Gentaro went from a very close #2 to tied with Ramuda for #1. And then he bumped Ramuda down to a very close 2nd place, with Dice breathing down their necks.

The JakuRamu relationship in the Kujaku Posse days? omg when Ramuda took Jakurai out to "train" and it was all fun stuff and then Jakurai said he enjoyed just sitting on the swings with Ramuda the most? SWINGS?

I am a sucker for many tropes, and swings are but one of them.

Still love this ship; still need to finish my Ramustiltskin fic, but the interactions between Gentaro and Dice throughout everything I've read or watched (as an aside, I have so much love for everyone who has translated anything I've been able to get my hands on) - I will go down with this ship.

(I made a few threads on twt about why FugoNara is another ship that has a hold on my heart... maybe one day I'll collect them and repost them here.)

notes: hello! I thought it could have been a cute idea to imagine who would the hypmic boys main, when and how they started playing it, plus a random little fact about them. well, enjoy :)

ICHIRO

main: Noelle! she's cute, and helps others. istantly added her to the waifu list and smiles everytime she blushes thinking "aww, adorable."

when and how: started playing because Saburo asked him to. at first a casual player, soon it became a huge obsession.

another fact: sometimes he listen to his characters' voice lines just for fun, and he has memorised most of them (yes, he says them out loud too).

JIRO

main: Xinyan! she's cool and loud, also guitar buddies>>

when and how: downloaded it just because he didn't want to feel left out, and because Ichiro likes it.

another fact: he's a bit envious of Saburo because the only five star he got is Qiqi, and he doesn't like her.

SABURO

main: Xiao. he's a loner, and a cool one! he just HAD to main him.

when and how: started playing after he found some good gameplays while scrolling through youtube.

another fact: flexes his five star man to Jiro everytime he finds the chance to.

SAMATOKI

main: Diluc. he's like (ī_ī) all the time, and the fact that he's a pyro character made him gain 10 bonus points.

when and how: like for the virtual reality thing, he had a big argument with Jyuto and decided to settle it by playing. didn't expect to actually enjoy it.

another fact: the first time he lost the ascension quest he almost smashed his phone. that day, all his underlings felt unsafer than usual.

JYUTO

main: Kaeya. he likes his style and his tits.

when and how: same goes for him, ended up quite liking this game, even if he doesn't care about the plot and all.

another fact: he finds hilarious that Kaeya and Diluc kinda have a similar relationship as his and Samatoki's.

RIO

main: Xiangling. well, they share the passion for cooking and the use of unique ingredients.

when and how: he just followed samatoki and jyuto, and even if he doesn't play it often, that five times he logged in, he had a good time.

another fact: he spends most of the time looking for ingredients and got sad once he found out that you can't cook frogs and bugs.

RAMUDA

main: Barbara. she's the idol of the game, he HAD to set her as main. also, he built a massive dps Barbara just for pure chaotic vibes (@yamapucci suggested it and omg it's so true-)

when and how: one of the ladies he hanged out with showed him this "game with cute characters". he started playing because he liked the outfits.

another fact: he can imitate all paimon's quotes, and he will imitate them, even if you beg him to shut up.

GENTARO

main: Xingqiu. Gentaro doesn't really care about who to main, but they give kind of similar vibes

when and how: played it once or twice on Ramuda's phone because the little gremlin asked him to and Gentaro accepted (mostly because otherwise Ramuda would have become even more annoying).

another fact: changes the character's name everytime he plays in co-op, and builds up whole different personas based on the names he choses. always confuses the people he plays with, and finds that amusing.

DICE

main: Ningguang. she's sexy, but most importantly, SHE HAS ✨MONEY✨

alternatively: Bennett. felt pity for him and his bad luck. however, when he pulls and doesn't find a five stars character, blames it all on him. (@yamapucci proposed it, and we created the hc together <3)

when and how: like for Gentaro, started playing because Ramuda asked him to. he always plays it on Ramuda's playstation since he doesn't have a personal device (obviously lost it by gambling).

another fact: due to the fact he has the habit of gambling even empty handed, he has -20800 primogems, and if he doesn't pay up soon his account will be suspended.

JAKURAI

main: Keqing. Finds her and her points of view about both humanity and Gods interesting.

when and how: one of his young patients enthusiastically explained him the game and asked him to try it too, so he accepted (Hifumi recommended it too). liked the story and ended up playing it sometimes.

another fact: usually co-ops with Ichiro, because he does know better about the game than him, so he asked for some advices.

main: ITTO, and his co-op experiences are chaotic as hell

when and how: tried it once, and then decided to convince everyone he knows to play it too.

another fact: made jyushi cry because since kuko is several ranks up, he teased him when, while in co-op, he "couldn't do shit" against regisvines.

JYUSHI

main: Fischl! she's on top of his kin list and talks about how cool she is all the time, got the purple seelie just to match her and finished the golden apple arcipelago quests in no time to get her new skin. bro's her #1 fan. they literally would be besties if they knew each other.

when and how: convinced by Kuko. seems happy to play it too tho.

another fact: jumped of a cliff and his 「beautiful queen of darkness」 died. guess what? yeah, he cried.

HITOYA

main: Yanfei. both talk nonstop about law and shit, plus she's brilliant. I swear, if he knew what it means he would probably think he kins her (no, he'll never say that out loud).

when and how: Kuko. a bit of Jyushi too, but mostly Kuko. this man needs a break.

another fact: he can't and won't type in the chat, so if you co-op with him, just know it will be a silent game.

SASARA

main: mf will either be the annoying childe main or the cyno main who tells the worst jokes ever in the chat, there's no in between. LOVES the confetti thing and uses it all the time.

when and how: he was at home alone, and since he hates the silence he picked some random videos on youtube. switching from one to another happened to hear the genshin advertisement and got curious.

another fact: sooner or later, in the end he always gets kicked out from co-op mode because he's too annoying.

ROSHO

main: i feel like he would be a Sucrose main.

when and how: Sasara sneaked into his apartment, unlocked his phone and full downloaded it for him, waiting for hours. he also left a sticky note saying sorry for finishing all of his puddings, since he ate them due to boredom.

another fact: can't doesn't play in co-op mode with strangers, because it makes him nervous and uncomfortable.

REI

main: Yae Miko, she's sexy and they have that same random flirtatious attitude that nobody asked for.

when and how: he found a way to make some business from that game swindling here and there, so he took the opportunity.

hypmic kny!au headcanons because nobody asked for it!!!

i wrote this au at like 1am but i like how it turned out, so i'm posting it here :D

some kny spoilers ahead(?)

buster bros

• ichiro is the First Pillar/壱の柱 ((wow thats badass))

• he uses breath of the sun change my mind (though he started out with breath of water)

• his weapon: a katana with a red hilt. there's an omamori on it that says one, or ichi

• as expected, jiro has two omamori (ichiro's one + his own) while saburo has three (all of them)

• jiro uses breath of water come on it fits with his image color (and poor boi probs never mastered another breathing technique that's why)

• however, he's actually very proficient at it -- he knows all the forms and can perform them at any given time. only downside? due to his nonexistentCOUGH i mean insufficient knowledge of kanji, he doesn't know how to read the names of most of the forms and can't yell his attacks like a badass

• saburo? thunder breathing. he's not physically as strong as his older brothers (yet), so he relies on his agility and speed to boost his attacks

• jiro and saburo are training to be ichiro's tsuguko, and they squabble about it a shit ton (much to ichiro's disappointment), but oh boy in a fight the three of them are deadly

• especially if ichiro is injured in some way. jiro and saburo will literally show no mercy to whoever was unfortunate enough to have done it

mad trigger crew

• samatoki is the skull pillar/髑髏柱

• wooooo again with the badass names

• i just thought of this but OK WHAT IF HE BECAME A DEMON SLAYER TO PROTECT DEMON!NEMU???

• because in canon he became a yakuza for her sake and nemu was brainwashed by chuuouku so

• omg

• ok anyways samatoki's breathing style is skull breathing, which he invented himself

• even though he's a demon slayer, he's not exactly,,, sociable. he's irritable, stubborn, and just smokes on a kiseru during pillar meetings

• ((but he's actually a huge softie under all of that, especially if his sister is involved))

• jyuto. he probably uses his own breathing style too, but as for weapons... he uses a pistol

• he literally has the kanji for "gun" in his name ofc he would

• since this is the taisho era, western-style pistols would still have been relatively new so jyuto is feared as much as he's respected for his proficiency of his weapons

• would totally confront any demon he meets by saying "HAI STOP STOP STOP"

• rio?? survival breathing

• ok sorry but seriously he'd use his own breathing style too

• i think it'd be mostly centered around strengthening endurance and prologing survival time in dire situations (underwater, in a fire, trapped in an airtight space, etc) rather than attack

• and where does survival cooking come in, you ask?

• it's still there. but the ingredients are demons

• i headcanon that just like genya, he can eat demons to temporarily gain some of their attributes, and he insists on sharing his cooking with everyone, but (naturally) is usually met with stiff resistance

• mostly by jyuto

fling posse

• ramuda is... the candy pillar/飴柱

• don't be fooled by the innocent name; he's actually one of the deadliest pillars because unlike the others who wield swords, his preferred type of weapon is poison

• he has to use that, because physically he lacks the strength to decapitate a demon (kinda like shinobu really)

• another similarity they share? from a young age, he's been trained to intake wisteria poison into his body, and started a habit of eating candy with that to make the pain a little more bearable (which is how he got the "candy pillar" title)

• over the years, he's accumulated enough toxicity in his body that even the poison on his breath has become lethal to demons if they're exposed to it in close contact

• which is why he loves to get close and clingy with people

• when an enemy really ticks him off, though, he'll snap and immediately resort to methods... quicker in effect than poison

• a swift slit to their throat with the small dagger he keeps in his haori sleeve usually does the trick, he finds

• gentaro isn't a pillar, but oh god if he was they'd call him the uso hashira

• he's always shrouded in this aura of mystery and never gives straight answers to anyone

• especially dice

• gentaro is light for his height, so like ramuda, i headcanon he's not very suited for wielding a katana like the others either

• however, no one has seen that weapon -- just the book he carries around with him at all times

• if you start to link things together and ask him whether the book is his secret weapon all along, he'll say, "why, yes. i do not need a blade to kill, you see, only words..."

• when you back away in fear he'll chuckle a little and hit you with the "uso desu yo"

• gentaro you little shit

• as for dice, i headcanon him to be a special case

• just like a casino slot machine, his special ability is that he can use any attack from any form of breathing he's learned, with full proficiency and power

• only downside is that,,, he never knows what attack it is exactly

• like he learned a form of sun breathing from observing the buster bros' training and was so excited to try it out against some demon he met but forgot about the randomness of his attacks and accidentally hit them with breath of water first form

• it bounces harmlessly off said demon (to dice's horror)

• (luckily ramuda manages to swoop in and kill them while they're too busy laughing at dice's expression of horror)

• and to nobody's surprise, he slacks off training to gamble, but surprisingly his skill matches theirs despite not having been polished through conventional practice

matenro

• jakurai... oh boy. he's the deity pillar/神柱

• the word "pillar" ("hashira") is the counter for deities in japanese, so this title basically emphasises the fact that jakurai is seen as the living embodiment of a deity

• it's hard not to see him as such, because he's so tall and ethereal and there's a certain grace in everything he does

• plus his specialty (besides swordsmanship) is healing others with his knowledge of medicinal herbs and... his voice. like oyakata-sama, i hc that his voice has the ability to instantly soothe people and put them at ease

• HOWEVER, he is absolutely terrifying on the battlefield. he's silent and deadly, and if you're his enemy he has no pity to spare for you. this assassin-like style of his attacks have been likened to a viper lying in ambush for its prey

• and just like in canon, his personality does a complete 180 when he's drunk

• one time he accidentally mistook a cup of sake for water and the next second he'd ripped off his haori and yeeted doppo through the shoji door

• (he's apologized at least 5 times and doppo says he doesn't have to, but neither of them have really forgotten about it)

• hifumi definitely uses love breathing, like mitsuri

• come on the theme just fits too well and some of the attacks are named after cats... he says it's for his konekochans

• instead of his usual suit, he has a small haori he has to put on in order to get into host mode AND gain more confidence, which upon wearing instantly turns him into a bubbly demon-slaying ladykiller

• would 100% flirt with his opponents before killing them ("oh, kitten, you look simply stunning... such a shame that i'll have to cut you down soon. let's make the most out of the last night of your life then, shall we?")

• he cooks for everyone else occassionally, especially after a long day of training. it's a hobby of his that he isn't afraid to admit

• doppo... this poor boy

• he's a breath of water user, and his rank is... average.

• his weapon is a katana, which is... also average

• basically, people don't see anything special or worth mentioning about him at first glance, which (besides his own pessimism) accounts for doppo's constant gloominess

• his mentor also forces him to train for longer than the other tsuguko and he's also a frequent subject of ridicule, which doesn't help at all

• would 100% be the apologetic attacker type (like he'd apologize if a demon he was meant to slay belittled him)

• he lets his stress out occassionally when he's pushed past a breaking point and boy is he scary when that happens

• is it wrong to imagine that, just like how zenitsu can power up ridiculously while unconscious/asleep, doppo has a "berserk mode" that he can activate when he gets pushed too far

• during which his usual meek, timid personality is all but replaced by his pent up rage that he won't hesitate to let out all at once... pray for whoever's unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of it

gonna get pretty angsty but how would doppo react to his s/o breaking up with him?

I was going to make it sadder but I started crying and changed it omg

Breaking up with Doppo doesn’t go as you expected - instead of trying to beg for another chance or having any kind of emotional outburst - he just sighs and says “Okay.”

While it might seem that he doesn’t care about you or the relationship, he honestly came to terms early on that one day you would realize that you didn’t want to be with such a screw-up and break it off with him

Of course, he’s upset but he always knew that it would come so he just agrees because if you want to leave him, he didn’t want to stand in the way of you being happy so he won’t argue with it

He would go to Jakurai nearly every day after that - he feels stupid for letting himself get so attached to someone he knew would leave him and he honestly just feels so hopeless now that you’re gone, but it’s comforting to him that are you are happy.

He never wishes that things went better but things never seem to turn out right for him, why would a relationship work out. He didn’t feel like he deserved to have you in his life to begin with, so you leaving was expected but still… it made him feel worse than he already

Anon asked: I know this is a bit of a sensitive topic so feel free to not write this one but the HypMic boys reacting to their fem s/o revealing she's infertile because of a genetic disorder? It's just something I've been struggling with a bit.

Just a hug, that’s all and telling you that it’s okay

But part of him would be sad because he’s always wanted a kid of his own, but he would be up for adoption

Because you know why, his parents died so he wants to give another who suffered the same fate a better life and a better chance and instead of relying on someone else who isn’t a parent to them

Jiro

He would be quiet at first because he’s not sure what to say

So instead he just opens his arms and you fall into it and he just strokes your back

And he admits to you that yeah he wants kids, but he’s also always wanted to adopt because he knows how it feels to have no parents, so he wants to give other kids a chance

Saburo

immediately say its okay because he wanted to adopt anyway… that is if you still want kids

Then he would hold your hand and say nothing is wrong and he’ll say that his eyes are a genetic disorder and he used to be insecure about it until ppl say they love it

So he loves you, and everything will be okay

Samatoki

He would stare at you for a while and not know what to say for a while

And he would sit down, just processing a bit, then he would look up at you, pull you into his lap and just breathe in your scent because honestly, I think he wanted kids of his own and there’s all these other alternatives but… for that moment he’ll just hold you and tell you that it’s okay as long as you’re okay and nothing is inherently wrong with you

And he’s game to adopt because he’s also an orphan child too so… this gives him more of a reason to give those kinds of kids a chance of a better life

Jyuto

He would take you gently by the hand and let you have a seat by him

I think he would have some part of him be very quietly relieved because he’s afraid to be a parent, mostly because he’s afraid that his line of work would make him disappear

But, he would tell you that it’s okay and there’s always adoption (plus, orphan kid as well) and he promises that whatever you want he will go about it

Riou

Would lowkey be sad about it because I think he’s the type to want kids

But then he would take you out on a walk immediately after the reveal and confess he’s wanted kids and all that

He would be honest he’s kind of sad but… he also would say that he loves you and you could still have kids together and all that and he just slings his arms around you and just you know, is a presence

Ramuda

i think he’d have conflicted feelings really

Like he would be at war with himself over the fact if he even wanted kids of his own, but then he would push those away for processing later and just smile at you, telling you that it’s okay and if you want kids there are other options

But you know that he’s confused and all so you both end up talking it out and just kind of coming to whatever conclusion it will be

Gentaro

He would be in shock like his pen would drop or something

Because he doesn’t really know how to react to such an intense truth and he actually debates lying that everything is okay

Because honestly, it is okay, and he loves you, it’s just he didn’t expect that from you, so he just hugs you instead and tells you that it’s fine and right now, just the two of you are enough

Dice

He doesn’t take it as a bad thing because like as a street rat, he would prefer adoption over his own

Mostly because he’s very much afraid to have kids of his own first because he doesn’t really have a permanent job and all that and he’s not exactly stable

But then he knows that if you want them, he will do everything in his power to support those little adopted babies

Jakurai

Would just take your hand and kiss it then ask if you really want kids

And he does honestly, but he will put you first because its a mutual decision

Either way he would be happy, but assuming you still both want children, then he would have a plethora of suggestions, including IVF or surrogates or adoption, whatever would make you comfortable because your happiness comes first to him

Doppo

Smile softly at you and tell you its okay really, and he just admits now he can stop having a heart attack every time you’re in the bathroom too long a few days after you have sex

You can see he’s trying to lighten the mood and you take his hand and tell him that you’ve been dealing with it for a while

And he tells you that if you do want kids, adoption is always up and you guys can go to jakurai if you want some more options

Hifumi

He would hug you tight and say it’s okay! He says he would rather adopt anyway because he can’t handle the surprise of having a daughter because of his fear

And he’s trying to make you laugh and he’s actually genuinely really really okay with it and he’s just saying that he would love to adopt if you want kids or find any other alternative

I’m in love with Komada bc he’s Jyuto and I’m weak and I adore his voice, it’s just so powerful and how he gets in character specially when singing against Ishiya during WWW is amazing. AND WHEN HE SPEAKS ENGLISH his pronounce is so good omg.

Shirai’s energy in lives is so contagious, I absolutely LOVE to see him singing Ramuda’s songs and parts and I don’t even really like Ramuda but I absolutely love Shirai. AND HIM SAYING “ONEE-SAN!! ONII-SAN MO!!” Bisexual Ramuda confirmed. lmao

Ishiya has simply the cutest smile in the world I love to see he’s having fun when singing as Jiro and he’s so good??? Rapping??

KimuSuba tho, he’s SO FUCKING TALENTED he’s by far the best rapper between them all and he also loves what he does it’s so nice to watch.

I love how deep Kamio’s voice is, it almost doens’t sound like it comes from him lmao and it’s so powerful, he’s so good when he raps.

Soma Saito is an absolute cutie, like, for real, he’s adorable, and he gets so in character when singing as Gentaro it’s so good.

Hayami Show tho, he’s the oldest between them all and he seems to be having such a good time as Jakurai, and I LOVE his super deep voice, just to hear him talking is music to my ears, when he says “homie we are Matenrou” I die.

Ito Kento is just the PERFECT Doppo, he looks like the face of defeat but in a good way bc we know which character he’s voicing so it’s just amazing how in character he is aND THE WAY HE SCREAMS OH MY GOD IT’S AMAZING.

And Kijima, holy shit, he’s also so full of energy it’s comparable to Shirai, Champagne Gold is defs my favorite Matenrou song to see live, I love his performance so much.

KOUHEI IS SO CUTE AS SABURO. I’m not a big fan of New star but I love to see Kouhei singing against Kamio in WWW. And his “bye byeeee” is so cute omg.

And Asanuma oh my god, he’s so good as Samatoki, and I love how he gets the ugliest shirts possible to wear in the lives just as Samatoki would do. wHEN HE DOES THE CIGARETTE KISS WITH KOMADA I D I E. I’m weak to fanservice I’m so sorry.

Nozuyama is another one with such a powerful voice it’s great to see him as Dice, he also seems to be having so much fun and I love him so much.

I’m just so in love with these 12 men, I never thought I’d be into a seiyuu project of any type but now I understand why they’re so popular, I just love them all so much, I love to see them having a good time and being into their characters, I love watching the HypMic lives, they’re all amazing. I dream of being able to go to a live someday bc seeing these men singing and rapping live... god, seriously, what a dream.
