i was peacefully working a closing shift when i was struck by a horrible yet wonderful and supremely indulgent idea:

Danny Phantom x Voltron crossover

#OKAY NOW HEAR ME OUT #the phandom loves Danny as a being of space and balance #space as we are aware of is objectively terrifying and endless and full of cosmic bodies #voltron has delved a bit into weird space stuff including ginormous space whales and insane space anamolies #some pretty cool stuff actually #so picture this: the paladins & co. either a) hear about weird occurrences and go investigate #they keep running into weird anomolies like getting stuck in pocket dimensions until something gets resolved #or a time loop or a shared fever dream like that one doctor who episode #whatever else #until they find an abandoned temple or smthn at a planet or a moon and they find Danny trapped there deep in slumber and encased in ice #OR b) they get a call about a planet’s’ communication system going on the fritz for some reason #they mention a nearby cold star in passing that’s been giving off flares #everyone is ofc like; cold star??? flares??? now that we have to see #they go and the star is pulsating and it is just putting out extremely cold temperatures #unapproachable #but allura being the magical girlie she is starts getting Vibes from it #maybe the star is reaching out?#something pushes her to reach me out as well and boom!#the star begins cracking #but not egg-like per se #this is a star and its space and it’s a HUGE reaction #and dangerous #maybe they wormhole it somewhere safe and that beomes like a whole stress sequence #anyways the star basically goes into a very tiny miniscule mini supernova #and this huge THING this BEING stretches out #layers and layers of whatever their body is just unfolding and unmaking themselves to reveal a fucking nebula #vaguely human shaped and holy shit it’s moving! and it just turned its head(?) to look at the castle of lions #that is terrifying #TLDR; danny is in a space ice cocoon (hibernating trapped actually metamorphosis etc) and the voltron gang wakes him up

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

jasico server was chatting about the cupid scene and jason getting nico's memories blasted straight into his brain and how jason being shot with one of cupid's arrows while with nico and this was just never brought up in canon again and now i'm thinking like...what if that's just how cupid's arrows work? not by magically manifesting love for someone out of nothing, but by giving someone the perspective that'd make them fall in love naturally? jason gets a front row seat to nico's memories and instantly understands him intimately and can trust him completely without any doubt or suspicion

so what if jason, after slowly realizing he's totally in love with nico, just thought back to the arrow incident and it made him second-guess everything? because maybe he's only feeling this way because cupid hit him with an arrow with only nico was around and it's no different than any other god messing with his love life

#i live for anything that drags out the pining/pre-relationship period as long as possible okay #give me the drama of jason frustrated about constantly being manipulated by gods #in love with nico but convinced it's just cupid fucking with him and not wanting nico to get dragged into it #maybe telling nico eventually because he's having trouble hiding his feelings and he doesn't wanna hurt nico by confusing him #which is of course an emotional rollercoaster for nico #hearing jason say he's in love with him only to then immediately hear that it's just godly fuckery #nico agreeing to help jason find cupid to get it reversed because he knows how much it sucks having feelings for someone unwillingly #and he doesn't want jason stuck mooning over someone like him just because he was unkucky enough to be with nico for the cupid incident #whole quest in which nico develops feelings in return and angsts because he's sure jason only feels that way because of the arrow #maybe a slip-up in the middle somewhere with nico accidentally revealing he likes jason back before backpedaling wildly #so now jason has hope despite himself because he'd never really thought it was possible anyway given nico's feelings for percy #and he doesn't like being manipulated by gods but he doesn't mind the idea of being in love with nico #and what if he just gave up on the hunt for cupid entirely and let it happen #while nico feels guilty since clearly it's just cupid arrow magic fucking with jason and he's enabling it #and then of course when they finally find cupid he explains how his arrows work and that he can't just FORCE someone to be in love #no more than hera could with jason and piper by fucking with their memories to push them together #cupid's methods are just way more effective #my tag babble ended up longer than the actual post oh my god #pjo #jasico #my dumb headcanons

More thoughts/reasonings on a theoretical Truman Show like reality in season 6 because I can’t stop pondering over it:

1. Gabriel’s exact words when using the wish was to read his heart to figure out what he wanted, and to read his souls to figure out what to sacrifice. I don’t know ab y’all, but if this entire new universe is made up of Gabriel’s heart and soul, I don’t trust it 💀💀

2. We see Adrien FINALLY beat Gabriel’s ass and tell him he’s a terrible father right before the finale, and after all the stuff Gabriel pulled with Marinette, it’s hard to believe Adrien would just… suddenly look up to him right? Something tells me Gabriel wouldn’t want Adrien remembering all of that in a universe where everyone suddenly looks up to him and Adrien has free will… so is it possible Adrien’s memories of his father are muddled? I mean why not right: after all, it IS a universe of Gabriel’s creation.

3. Now leaning more into the Truman Show-ness of it all, everything seemed TOO perfect at the end. Every second of the ending was all hazy and strange. The first shot we get is Adrien being awoken with a kiss, like in a fairy tale, and we know there’s been hella set up with Adrien as a story book protagonist locked in a tower. What if this new world is his new tower created by Gabriel? Adrien is trapped in a perfect bubble with nothing but people to care about him and weirdly pleasant memories of his father, but it’s FAKE. And what about the outside world? Something tells me Gabriel wouldn’t care too much about that. Also, the last two episodes focused on nightmares… hmmm…

4. If Emile is really back, ADRIEN HAS TO QUESTION IT RIGHT? WHY WOULD HAWKMOTH IF HE WAS JUST SOME DUDE MAKE A UNIVERSE WHERE HIS MOM IS BACK??? ADRIEN WOULD HAVE TO CONNECT SOME DOTS RIGHT??? Again: MUDDLED MEMORY! THAT HE MUST BREAK FREE FROM! Not to mention, Adrien seemed strangely… really chill? And overly happy in the finale? Considering his dad just died and his mom is randomly back from the dead? Again, I know there’s a time skip, but STILL.

5. Like Truman, I imagine everyone will lie to him/gaslight him, either due to Gabriel’s wish or to “protect” him. And we know how Adrien feels about that.

I already hear ml salters going “you really think the show enough is smart enough for that? 🤓☝️”, and even though every time I’ve gotten a comment on a theory like this in past seasons I’ve ended up being RIGHT, this time I must concede a little bit and say it would be a lot to juggle. But all I’m saying is if we spent the last 5 SEASONS hearing about how this wish couldn’t be made and how we had to stop Gabriel from making it, I better see some pretty messed up consequences, and this just feels so right! Adrien thinking he’s free, but really he’s trapped in another prison of his father’s creation…. cinema.
