Watching the last episode gave 'I'm afraid I won't be able to do the right thing.' from Tim in ep.6 a new perspective
In 1957 in a way is a very low point morally for Tim. He was disillusioned with many things in his life: Mccarthy, religious and Hawk. When he let Hawk back into his life, he just accept an affair relationship with him even saying 'I promise I won't be any trouble. I've got no expectation.' which goes against all Tim's prior value of being good and honest.
It was seeing baby Jackson in the hospital that snap him back to his old self and think about what's right and what's wrong. In that moment he realized that he should do the 'right thing' which is to let Hawk be with his family.
That's why in ep.6 he was so afraid, not just going to prison but of Hawk. He's afraid that will make the same mistake and give in like he did in 1957. But finally he did the right thing, he turned himself in.
just him and his iconic scarf jacket w lockwood’s outfit combo against the world he looks so soft i wanna hug him so badly🥹 I JUST KNOW THAT HE’D BE A NICE HUGGER ok im crying
The man marked out by fate, can grip and string the bow with ease
And shoot an arrow through all 12 axes,
Shall become my husband…»
Inspired by the myth about Odyssey’s Bow for sasodei week 2023. Basically it tells us how Penelope, led by the goddess Athena, decides there will be a contest between the suitors, who can potentially become her husband. She actually didn’t want to do that because she loved Odyssey, but this guy was totally gone for a Trojan War and might’ve been pretty much dead. So Penelope kind of wanted to trick everybody by giving contestants Odysseus's bow and making them shoot an arrow through twelve axes. However! One of the unknown warriors manage to do that, and what a surprise when appears, that unknown warrior is (spoiler alert) Odyssey himself coming back from war, with Zeuses buff.
As likely and angsty Arthur not having any true friends since Merlin is I’ve decided that is no longer the case.
maybe all the old nobles and council members sucked and uther was definitely an ass.
The knights however were not. At least not all of them some can be idiots but the knights were Arthur’s family growing up amen 🙏🏽 .
and I’m not even crazy really he says multiple times the knights are like family and that he grew up with some so yeah.
All this to say I need to see more Arthur with knights in fics and not the main few (besides Leon) because most of the fandom decided to give them to Merlin.
you know what would be a good idea if someone wrote a fic where it was one of those god awful(not judging if that’s your thing though to each their own) typical magic reveals but instead of no one being on Arthur’s side there’s a group of knights that grew up with him that stand up for Arthur and claim that he’d never hurt Merlin.
Including Leon bc I will say this a hundred times he would not threaten arthur.
I KNOW. That the "Miles throwing a bagle created the Spot" thing is mostly a joke because it's a fucking hilarious butterfly effect.
But
FOR FUCK'S SAKE.
Please tell me y'all know the bagel has nothing to do with the creation of the Spot.
PLEASE tell me y'all know he only mentioned the bagel to make Miles remember about him.
Because simply thinking that there's people out there that believe that Spot got funky multiverse traveling powers because a cafeteria bagel hit him on the head makes me violent.
me: *clutching my copy of under the red hood & pride and prejudice* *dramatic gasp* you take that back, you are minimizing the deep complexities of this masterpiece of a character to simple words without fully understanding or acknowledging what they've been through
also me: Jason Peter Todd is a dramatic bitch (affectionate) with a fuck ton of trauma, any questions?
*Hiccup and Snotlout are in a car teetering on the edge of a cliff*
Hiccup: oh my Thor, Snotlout, backwards!
Snotlout: Really, Hiccup? I thought I might go forwards into the river, I thought that would be a fun thing to do.
