the concept of legion sync makes me insane because of the fact that the twins literally have chimeric data in their dna and once fusion happens they also have legion cells in their blood which furthers sync even more, and i think their bodies would undergo permanent changes post fusion that alter their physical appearance

such as, small amounts of those veins around the eye, slight discoloration in the iris, and colored streaks in the hair (as often pictured in my art)

i have a lot of thoughts that i haven't verbalized outside of discord but basically i think azure experiences a lot of dysmorphia and comes to hate herself because she realizes how not human she is. and it really haunts her to the point of avoiding fusion if she can help it.

in short, she's afraid of becoming a monster, or, what legions really are, a chimera. the very thing she's dead set on destroying. and that's fucking horrifying. but it's so good thematically. especially when you consider the way the astral plane works, which is that it's not entirely evil, but that its only function is to collect data and archive it for a future purpose that we don't quite understand yet

I need non autistic people to realise meltdowns are a real debilitating thing that has a serious effect on your mental and physical health NOWWWWW!!! I don't wanna further hijack that poor poll, but the thing about Harrow's schizophrenia is that it's canon. The author has confirmed it, and shared that it's based on her own experience.

It's a pretty obscure bit of canon, so of course there's no shame in not already knowing, but that's why I'm so obnoxiously persistent about letting people know.

Whatever else is up with Harrow, autism or cptsd or any number of likely headcanons, she is also schizophrenic. I feel like that's too important to be handwaved away as a difference of opinion.

in light of the news that fifteen enjoys clubbing, this is how i imagine the other doctors would respond to finding themselves in a nightclub

one: genuinely appalled; whacks people in the shins with his cane until security drag him out

two: starts absolutely shredding on the recorder in the middle of the dance floor

three: is only here because the master has chosen this club to be the centre of his new scheme

four: keeps trying to strike up conversation about quantum mechanics with strangers (but no one can hear him)

five: complains about the music selection the whole time

six: can’t get past the bouncers (they don’t like his outfit)

seven: “i don’t know what’s going on here, but these people seem to be having a good time :)” meanwhile someone has just flashed him

eight: keeps getting hit on in the most obscene ways possible and turns them down politely every time

nine: really doesn’t want to be here but rose is having fun and he could watch her dance all night

ten: trying every snack on offer at the bar

eleven: gets overwhelmed and starts crying immediately

twelve: somehow ends up doing coke in the bathroom

thirteen: has a great time for fifteen minutes, passes out

fourteen: would literally rather watch paint dry than be here. can’t remember ever being so bored in his life

i just want to point out that it's really funny how hal just, Knows things before it's revealed that he's with neuron and mc never questions it. like in file 05 he's like "hey can you use your iris to scan for the missing parts of my drone" and then five seconds later after he checks your iris himself he finds you have the beast legion registered and comments on that. like sir How do you know about the iris. how do you know what legions and chimeras are. that's government kept information that only a select few are allowed to know

and then later you find out he's actually with neuron and it's like oh ok cool :) but it's just so funny that he casually mentions this shit without ever revealing that he and mc are on the same team. hal what would you have done if they questioned you. you are so dumb (affectionate)

does anyone ever think about the fact that like. when mc first fused with their legion it was purple to indicate it was Not Stable and then when they fused again it was blue because it Was stable but then when akira first fused it was red from the start. like we all know akira was fucked up in that scene so it's crazy to think that the first time they fused they were in full control (I say control because of the color, they were still in a state of blind rage)

but tbh it could just be because of the fact that akira's sync with their new legion is kind of artificial? like we see that they get the red hair and pronouns from it similarly to mc but they mention feeling "really in control" when talking to mc about it and that is, Hmmmm because, That Is Not How It Works

legion sync rate goes both ways, it's not about having control. it's about trusting your partner. something that akira very clearly does not understand but that mc does.

anyway I'm saying that because I'm 99% sure that the akira we see from file 06 onward is not the original so the fact that they have "perfect sync" with their legion just kind of implies that that bond is fake, because yoseph would have designed the ravens and the black legions to be in perfect sync from the start. that relationship wouldn't have come together on its own. but of course akira doesn't know that!! :)

i know you could explain it all with rule of funny or ''they did it on purpose as a gag'' but

sans has the uncanny ability to read your face like a book and know exactly what you're thinking with a glance. he also constantly misses papyrus' jokes and treats them like genuine questions.

papyrus talks to you over the phone and somehow manages to conceptualize where you are and what you're doing from your tone alone. if, however, you gave him a picture of asgore and toriel, the only way he could tell them apart would be by their clothes.

tone-deaf sans/face blind papyrus. they're both autistic in perfectly mirrored ways so when they talk they keep missing each other by a hairbreadth
