Due to a series of events, robin is declared the ghost kings fiancé.  Danny’s title after ascending the throne at 15 is The Balance. The observants insist he needs a spouse so they suggest someone who complements Danny’s nature as The Balance. Who better than Robin; the child of a mass murderer and a man who would rather die than kill a child that spent the first half of his life taking lives and the second half saving them. Damian has died but still lives due to the Lazarus Pits. His unique upbringing in the League is good dude to his combat based socializing and his later growing up in a cursed city. Said cursed city has almost as much ecto as Amity. The boy is perfect. Danny and Damian aren’t so much asked to marry each other as kidnapped by eyeballs trapped in a room together and told the wedding is in a week. By the time they figure out a way to stop the wedding, they kind of don’t want to their families might kill them if they go through with it, but that’s nothing new. It’s not too bad. Damian gets an epic new sword and countless pets. Danny gets a badass husband that’s willing and has been trained from birth to rule and is frankly better at handling the violent and arrogant ancients than he is.
