was re-doing some of my toyhouse profiles, and while i like these pictures of vale, it makes his permafrost color’d stuff pink somehow, so have these

Phantom pauses, his face getting a little pale. "Oh. Huh. I guess that is a possibility, yeah." He thinks about it for a second, and then sighs. "Fuck, I don't know. Unmarked grave in the city, I guess? Or ... maybe they could just leave my body somewhere for the cops to find? At least then my family could get some closure. Sort of." Something else seems to occur to him, and his expression darkens. "If Vale buries me next to his family, with his last name, I'm haunting him for the rest of his life. I'd take anything but that."

👻- do you believe in ghosts?

Vale raises an eyebrow. "Ghosts? No, of course not."

[A/N: Vale is a man of few words, so he's boring at answering questions. Fun fact though, his childhood home/his parents' estate is a 200 year old mansion. Phantom, who has only visited once, is convinced that it must be haunted. Vale is annoyed by this claim, and has repeatedly assured him that it's not, and that there are no bodies buried in the basement, either. Phantom remains skeptical.]

I have kind of made a similar character to your Lich patron warlock, an undead lineage sorcerer whose great (etc) uncle is a doting uncle to her but opalised the bones of his foes to serve as his waitstaff and is very much trying to get my girl to become a lich herself one day

He's a compelling roguish guy, I love him, and Arya is a great character, a kind enough person who is also absolutely fine with the most wretched necromancy

vale was originally made for a PF campaign and had some more jokey elements that have kind of fallen off over time, like, originally their patron was the undertaker from WWE but then i tweaked their backstory so that their patron was their father. he's a drow and she's half-elf drow lineage in every timeline though. vale's father, alystrin, has a curse of immortality and dark luck on him so that anyone who stays around him for too long dies (specifically, he's cursed to watch everything he loves wither and die, and being around him speeds up the process) and that's what happened to vale's mother even though he only spent a few months a year with her. while he's not a willing lich he is a wizard of considerable power, so that loops around into him technically being an undead patron warlock. he doesn't know 100% that vale is searching for a way to undo his curse, he just knows they're adventuring, but they kind of fuck around repeatedly in hopes of finding something that'll help him. i haven't had the chance to let them do any patron contact mechanics with him but i know they would have the most informal patron contact ever. he'd probably scold them for whatever forced them to end up calling him.

i almost played as them in bg3 using great old one as a proxy but then i remembered in most of my timelines vale is like, 17, and baldur's gate 3 is the dungeons and dragons sex video game, and aging them up felt too weird. so i just did my main bg3 file as my other ttrpg character, a spores druid who sells esoteric magic party drugs, but that's another story.

more progress on Vale! He's a freshwater kelpie (as opposed to the saltwater sea kelpies shown in the IDW comics) that lives in the Everfree Forest. He has occasional interactions with Zecora, but rarely wanders far enough from the deepest parts of the forest to run into any townsfolk from Ponyville, at least in theory. Sometimes he runs into Fluttershy, but he's unintentionally quite intimidating when he isn't in his pony disguise.

🥵 : Is your OC perceived as physically attractive to others? Is it at first glance or is it something that takes more time to reach fruition?

hertha's body is that of around an early 20 year olds, so im sure she looks very attractive! she doesnt really hide anything either, being in humid climates usually. so im sure some people have fallen for her at first sight some (and then regret it when they realize shes a mom swamp witch)

🔥 : What’s a surefire way to make your OC get flustered?

good fucking luck! that being said, if she knows you, the whole, put your finger under her chin and make her look at you will do the trick. (dont do this if you dont know your warmaster, you might end up burnt to a crisp)

💌 : How would they plan a romantic evening for a significant other?

eerie actually has two partners right now! so he would just take them out of the city on a date in a smaller town or even camping. just a soft time together and away from being commander for a lil while.

if he didnt have those options, then relaxing alone together is all he would plan.

💐 : What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

pray? vale was never huge romantic person to begin with (having a kid was more force upon him by his dad to provide for charr than actually wanting one)

he would try his best to be nice and soft, trying to reach into what the person likes and goes from there. with a friend's oc, he's trying to be what they need, and opening up to them as much as he can. it's very hard to be vulnerable with them, but thats okay bc they got each other now (current circumstances make them only have each other now lmao)
