Ok a comment on the gw2 reddit made me curious.
Context: No kind of judgement is intended whatsoever, I'm simply curious since one user argued that most people who play the game seek instant gratification and therefore usually "buy" the legendary crafting progess with real money. My gut feeling calls BS on that, but I'm curious to see if I'm mistaken!
#i HAVE done this but not for legendaries#i did it first to buy my commander tag (500 gold back then was completely out of my leauge to get)#and the second time was for one of the music boxes when they first came out!#they were much more expensive back then and one of my ocs basically#grabbed my arm and stared at it autisticly until i got it#but ive never done it for legendaries???#gw2#just seemed idk#theres time gates and everything?
