Hiiiiu! Have you tried the new kits yhat cane out today? I swear I haven't seen anyone in my gred talk about them, is kinda weird... I haven't updated my game since before the crystal pack came out so I'd also like to know if yhe last bade game update caused any isuues for you or not?
HI HELLO <3 I DID TRY THEM OUT TEHEE, actually on the most recent photoset I've posted, I've used the clothes from the clothing kit! I love a lot of the items that were included there, it's def one of the better CAS kits for me. The party/build items one I also like a lot more than how it seemed on the official pics, for example esp the new bar that's been included there is a very pretty item imo, like, it's the first simple, realistic seeming HOMESTYLE bar ever in this game bc it just looks like a normal midcentury sideboard, featuring some drinks. I tend to really like kits more than I should probably LMAO, but it is what it is... T_T
The update itself didn't cause any weird glitches for me, the game works really stable and also I haven't noticed any broken sliders, etc... Some mods would prob need updating, but if you keep them up-to-date, you should be safe!

#taking everything fallout i can get tbh. like i mentioned a while ago but the thought of FO5 development prob taking at least until 2030#is super duper depressing to me#and the series legit kinda feels like playing the games so it's really satisfying that we'll get some more content#nonsims

What are your OCs' careers (ingame)? and which worlds do they reside in?
EEEEEE see, this is kinda an interesting question to me bc purely lorewise they don't reside in sim worlds (my story is not set in that universe, Sims is just one of the mediums I use to convey it, ya know?), so all over during gameplay I have to assign them to the worlds I feel like that just feel right at least in closeness context, if that makes sense?
Here we go...
Emilio: Britechester (during younger years), San Myshuno.
Career: Doctor (low level) or actor ofc hehe!
Vale: Copperdale (during younger years), San Myshuno.
Career: Mixologist, or also freelancer ones during gameplay.
Luca: Copperdale (during younger years), San Myshuno, Evergreen Harbor.
Career: Retail employee, manual laborer, fast food employee, barista. If I'm feeling fancy, he sometimes gets the entertainer (each the comedy or musician branch works tbh) one assigned.
Sharon: Copperdale, or also Windenburg.
Career: Gardener in the floral designer branch.
Aaron: Copperdale (during younger years), San Myshuno.
Career: USUALLY Social media in the internet personality branch, but during gameplay I also like to switch things up between Style Influencer (Trendsetter branch), Food/Art Critic, Simfluencer or Video Game streamer bc lorewise they also fit lmao.
Gina: Del Sol Valley, or San Sequoia.
Career: Painter in the Master of the Real branch, or also freelancer ones.
Devyn: Usually Newcrest (Willow Creek does work too tho)
Career: Salaryperson in the expert branch
Kaia: Del Sol Valley, San Sequoia or also Evergreen Harbor.
Career: ingame I've made her a writer (author branch), tho storywise she's a cemetery caretaker, but she's also very much into writing poems and stuff, so the writer career still feels very fitting!
Maggie: Brindleton Bay
Career: Business career in the investor branch, or also the freelancer or video game streamer ones.

I read the story about your sims going to the movie premiere, and it's honestly one of the funniest and most detailed things I've read. I’m so jealous, your sims looks soooo freaking good!!! Do you have any tips or advice on how to make better looking sims?

Advice, hmm?? I don't know actually how to go on about this bc usually I just do? For the faces itself, I slap some facial features together that I think look neat, and that's mostly it. Other tips? UHMMM I do not use any custom face presets or sliders currently, everything you see is on vanilla EA bases, which probably isn't much help either ;_; I also only use my own genetics/makeup CC, though that probably helps a lot in me having my own preferred sim style/aesthetic down.
Otherwise I'd just say that you maybe look on Pinterest or somewhere else for real humans and try to make something similar to what you think is pretty? If you know what you like IRL, you'll prob also have an easier time with doing so in Sims! And what I can also totally recommend is, having knowledge about all default sliders in CAS. I think there's videos out there for it for some more hidden ones, which help develop features nicely. Anyways, I hope this was some help!!! <3

I did already mention this somewhere, but one thing that really pisses me off about Vale is that, even if he personally considers somebody as a friend, he never refers to them as that 😭 for him almost everybody is just an "acquaintance" like ffs, there is nothing wrong with publicly acknowledging them!

// Maxis-Match Eyes Masterlist
Was in mood to compile all of my maxis-match style eyes that I've already published, so here they are 👁️
0: only here for comparison reasons, they're the default eyes from EA, the ones your game automatically gets shipped with!
1: Oasis Eyes (very much like the EA eyes, but a bit more textured and not as flat, using these brings a bit of life into sims while not changing the aesthetic. Shown here in the V2 version, the V1 version has a reddish sclera, which is a bit more in line with alpha style eyes)
2: Dazzling Light Eyes (my fav ones! I always have these ingame as my default replacement, as for me personally they're really close to feeling like the vanilla EA eyes but in better, when looking at townies I ALWAYS forget they have CC eyes)
3: Treasure Eyes (with these I've tried to achieve a cel-shading look, so I feel like they make sims look even more cartoony than the regular EA eyes)
4: Waterdrop Eyes (those have a clean, but different look than the base eyes, while still being really cartoony. May be the most expressive looking ones out of the bunch)
5: Oxygen Eyes (another one which line up pretty well with the general aesthetic of the base EA eyes, but a bit more jelly-like looking if that makes sense?)
And as a bonus, with my DIY eye kit you can turn most eyes into maxis-matchier versions by layering pure white sclera overlay swatches over them!

OXYGEN Maxis-Match Eyes
Hiya! The recent few days I've spent my time on finishing these eyes, which initially were an abandoned project from a while ago, but anyways, here they are! They are a new, maxis-matchified version (cleaner, more cartoony/less photorealistic, plus some more changes) of one of my favorite eyes I've ever made, the Heaven eyes.
Things you should know:
Base game compatible.
For fem + masc frames, infant-elder.
Features a clear, gameplay-friendly sclera.
68 colors (base 18 ones + my own palette of 50)
Available as default, non default & facepaint variations.

If you've been following the Aaron lore bits I've been posting, you probably know already that he's an #influencer, mainly doing clickbaity video content. Though not famous on Hollywood levels, he has a bit of a reach, so even some of my OC's who don't personally know him in-universe, know him on social media.
Emilio: (regretfully) personally knows him, and while he claims he isn't following him anywhere, he lurks on ALL of his accounts and regularly keeps up with his content, steering a bit into hate-watch direction tbh (and ofc to be able to confirm if Aaron is shittalking him in storytime videos)
Phailin: kinda knows him IRL by passing, but has no idea that he's an influencer.
Vale: ofc knows him bc they're family, even was the one suggesting him to start streaming (while not actually thinking he'd take his suggestion fr), silently supports him every now and then if he remembers to log in.
Luca: also knows him IRL, may even appear in some of his posts and stuff. He also follows and supports his content pretty regularly.
Sharon: knows him from school and is quite surprised that this nerdy kid managed to lowkey blow up, doesn't much keep up with him tho.
Zahir: doesn't know him IRL and doesn't know of his influencing activities either.
Gina, Devyn: don't know him IRL, but they actually like and watch his content every now and then.
Isabella, Kaia: only know of him online, but they have no opinion of him bc they don't watch his content.
Maggie: got to know him IRL bc they got close online, and they both create content together regularly, appears pretty often in his videos, which helps her with promoting her pixel art account + her (semi-jokesy) OnlyFans.
