Day 13
The human remains in medical care, although visitations by anyone except the Vitrichl are currently prohibited by the medicals, preventing me from gathering any further observations of human behaviour.
I did, although, receive access to a sample the scientific unit had taken from the fluid that the human had regurgitated after her space excursion during the previous cycle, and the results of its analyzation are…rather alarming.
The fluid itself is incredibly acidic, and managed to dissolve all test objects given into the fluid in a matter of moments.
This obviously raised an even larger question: What was it? A bioweapon? A natural venom? Perhaps Dorag's tales were more credible than previously assumed? Assumptions that could not be proven certainly.
But the most alarming aspect of this is rather another question raised by these discoveries: If humans naturally posessed such a bioweapon, perhaps naturally produced it in their bodies, what did they need it for? The existence of such an mechanism implied the probable existence of a predator strong and agile enough that it was vital for humans to develop such a mechanism.
Even if that assumption is proved to be untrue, this discovery still turns humans into a much bigger threat than we had previously determined.
(Further note: One of the medicals has reported the human had repeatedly protested against any advances to provide her with medical care, continuously insisting she was alright and in no need of medical care. Despite the known durability of humans, she will be kept in medical care for at least one more cycle.)

Considering how shit the security around the todoroki manor appear to be and how he apparently could just walk inside, what dabi really should have done to get revenge against his father was start haunting him and pretending to be a ghost
Standing in the dark hallway and then disappearing again
Moving his old belongings or photos, put it in random places or even on his nightstand for extra effect

Screams of agony filled your ears, engulfed your senses.
The dead and dying littered the ground, bodies mangled. Weapons protruding from their skin, limbs bent at awkward angles.
And the blood.
Blood everywhere. Whose was it? Theirs? Yours?
Panic rose through you, bile creeping up your through throat. You wiped furiously at your skin, clawing and ripping. You couldn’t get out.
Couldn’t get out. Couldn’t get out. Couldn’t get—
You thrashed against the arms that held your shoulders against the mattress, sobs wracking your chest.
“Y/n! Sweetheart, it’s Azriel,” your mate murmured, voice soothing. His shadows swept around you, pulling your hair out of your face.
As soon as you heard Azriel’s voice, you halted. “Az?” you croaked.
Azriel kissed your forehead, wiping your tears away. “Did you have a nightmare? Again?”
You nodded, sniffling as you nuzzled against his chest. “I feel like they’ll never stop.”
“It’ll get better with time, baby.” Azriel kissed the top of your head, hand tracing gently up and down your back. “I’ll ask Madja about a sleeping tonic for you.”
You clung to him as your breathing slowed. “Don’t ever leave me, Az.”
Worry flashed over his expression for a moment, but Azriel understood. “I’ll never leave you. Never.”
Both of you knew that wasn’t a promise either of you could keep, but you took comfort in the words anyway.
Azriel hummed a soft lullaby, his shadows swirling about the room as you were slowly coaxed back to sleep.
