Hey! Not sure if u still wanted character asks but just wanted to say I hope you're holding up okay and uhh which character (or WIP in general) do you have the most fun writing and why? :)

I am ALWAYS looking for character asks! and thank you! Yesterday was super super hard and today is going to be nerve-wracking too. I have to get on a call with the Head of Production today, and I am sooooo nervous.

oooooh that's a tough one! i feel like I'm betraying all my blorbos! but I think it's probably going to be a tie right now between Amar from Abyss and Nole from The Possession of Joshua Roe.

Amar is because he's just so full-force into everything. This man doesn't know the meaning of only doing something halfway. He is the most devoted person you have ever seen. He can't stop getting himself involved in great, world changing causes. He is learning to value himself again through the other.

Nole is also like, mega-devoted. He's been living with, and crushing on, Joshua for years but never gotten around to actually making a move. Now that Joshua is possessed, he's decided to stick around until he's either miraculously better or! maybe the priest can fix him! maybe!!!! the point is, he's a goofy guy with a nervous stomach and he's incredibly steadfast. You know when you watch horror movies and you're just like, I wouldn't behave that way? Nole is you, and he is just not going to behave that way. you know. until he does.

Let's talk about how elite sports protect their high-level athletes from virtually any cancel culture and it's sickening

I actually used to respect Novak Djokovic so much for his tenacity, discipline, and used to be a fan of his easy going persona off-court. But at this point I really really cannot fathom how people can continue to usurp him at the highest level of tennis and sport without so much as a scrutiny. For me this is absolutely inhumane and goes to show the level of protection high level athletes actually get from sponsors and media because his actions behind the scenes have continued to be excused and burried again and again. Bear with me for a second because I'm not even just talking about his recent anti-vaccine controversy (which is a horrible thing in itself).

Djokovic is an ultra-nationalist believer and a fervent Serbian nationalist, probably because he grew up during the war in the region. Yet what is most unnerving is he's also a fervent supporter of the Bosnian Serb movement, a separatist faction in the Bosnian war that actually executed the GENOCIDE in Srebrenica that saw the murder of more than 8000 Bosnian Muslims.

As a public figure, he's not even reserved about his involvements. He has been photographed MULTIPLE TIMES hanging out and having lunch with army leaders and CONVICTED WAR CRIMINALS. Let it be known these aren't even allegations or some unknown political figures, they are actual GENOCIDAIRES themselves.

He has received awards from them and proudly stated his support. I am absolutely disgusted and shocked by the fact that these news have faded so quickly in the background in lieu of his sporting achievements, and even more disgusted with people who said politics should not be mixed with tennis.

This isn't even politics anymore. It's GENOCIDE. Do you not get it?? It's mass murder.

I am a political researcher and have spent the large part of my work studying genocide and the names that he associated with are constantly there in archives of mass killings and war crimes during the Bosnian war.

I get that some fans are truly passionate and fanatical about their idols, I too would go to the defense of my sporting heroes should anyone attack them. But sport is sport guys, and there should still be limit. I am genuinely confused of those who can continuously show untainted support for him without any reservations at all even after knowing his actions, and of the sports media, sponsors, and news channels who continuously burried this news to maintain his persona in their beneficial sporting competitions. As a sports fan, but most importantly, as a human being, I am so so so disappointed.

Does it even matter if he's the greatest of all time? Does it matter if he wins 20 more grand slams? I couldn't even give two stones about who's going to end up with the most career titles but I know for sure who I want people to look up to when they say sporting heroes.
