We see the aviators Gideon wears as anachronistically modern for this archaic world, and Harrow reacts to them accordingly, but we must not forget that they are an ancient artefact, pre-resurrection. For all we feel like they mess with her Ninth image they must actually strengthen it to the other houses. This Ninth cultist is wearing ten thousand year old glasses to block out the light. I dare you to think of something more Ninth than that.

p.s.: again took, some artistic liberties, mainly with colours because im still not a fan of working with greys and blacks so i went with deep bloody red and a deep burgundy for her hair which i reallyyyy like how it rendered out all together. i also changed the design of her bone collar/necklace because i had fun playing around with it and her bone earrings, again, sorry for the sacrilege

you guys i am so in love with this fandom. you people read 2 whole books about a solar system with 9 planets that is stated to have been the cradle of humanity and you are still surprised when it turns out that it’s like, THE solar system.

i think a lot about hot sauce and jeannemary. two young girls so ready to kill and to die. a comparison made all the worse when you recall that hot sauce lost all her family to the cohort, that she can specifically recall fourth style necromancy (using corpses as bombs). a fourteen and thirteen year old that could easily have been on opposite sides of the same front line.

It's been way too long since I last drew anything , so three days before my exams seems like a wonderful time to pick up my pens again.

I did take some creative liberties with the Ninth's Skull, but well, here it is! (The brain-rot is REAL)

the ninth doctor was so effortlessly funny he just went strutting around the galaxy in his leather duster with his plucky blonde companion insulting people & getting away w it bc he was charming as hell

um. hell bent (ninth house sequel) spoilers ahead.

darlington has implied anger issues, alcohol problems, a dirty mind, insatiable curiosity, a hyperfixation on the arcane, he's a murderer and he doesn't regret it - he's basically always sinned. he's always been a little bad.

it's not that only now that he's part-demon he has to wrestle with this ominous darker being that's lurking inside him. it's always been a part of him (part of every human being i'd like to argue), he's just been able to shut it out, control it better, compartmentalize (as one does), and now he has no choice but to let it free, free himself from his own inhibitions

But as he was not quite human any longer, he supposed a more flexible approach to morality was called for.

he's intelligent enough to realize he basically has to learn to deal with the fact that he's now powerless to the urges of his own demons, pun intended

this is what i want to see in a future book, not him struggling to hold back or trying to school himself into an image of goodness and perfection, because he's always done that! i want him to let go, absolutely lose it and be unapologetically unhinged and sinister, kind of like how alex is but worse
