So I saw Nimona last night and I cried like, a lot during the movie. Nimona is someone I can personally relate to and multiple points in the movie I was curled up in my chair, knees at my chest just crying my eyes out so much it actually was hurting.

POV: Mari rewatched Nimona and is now writing the next BTC AU Bit because sad emo father and chaotic emo daughter.

Anyways.

I have a few ideas for what I’ll write next and tbh it doesn’t matter in which order I write two of them. So I’ll just put up a poll tomorrow for which one I should do first. And then I’ll. Well do the other one.

And then after that the order in which I write WILL actually matter because it’ll get into the more important stuff.

But for now I must ruminate. Nimona was the og River down to the letter. Ballister is like a morally good BTC Springtrap. But they are evil villains together. And I love them. They are ostracized from the world around them regardless of whether it’s their fault or not and they find solace in being evil little bastards together. And River does witchcraft. And demon work.

There is nothing wrong with night owls.

Currently 3am (as of writing this in my notebook). It's the only time where my thoughts function as they should, and I can actually write.

A lot of people think that the most successful people are the ones who wake up at 4am and do all these fancy things first thing in the morning. I have tried this. Never have been able to do it for more than a day and I find I get burnt out of productivity time much easier.

And the funny thing is, I woke up at 10 once, watched Nimona (Amazing movie 15/10) and got more done on that day than I ever had on a 'wake up early and do something productive day'.

(To me at least) The moral of the story is that you should do what inspires you first thing - if that is well done stories then do that.

Also also, as long as you get enough sleep (I don't) sleep in a way that works for you. Naps if you need it. You are not lazy or unproductive for waking up and sleeping late. You are still working while everyone else is asleep. (Unless you have an average sleep cycle, that's fine too, do what makes you feel magical.)

I don't think - not anymore at least - that it's such a bad thing to be a natural night owl.

We just live in a world that runs based of the daytime creatures.
