its crazy how much early days egg event emphasized paranoia and distrust. being able to break an egg’s bed seemed like it was going to be such an important and scary plot point, and now? no one cares if the eggs are sleeping--it just means the admin is offline. i remember anytime bad would drop by on a stream, the chat would be spammed with warnings about how he was going to kill the streamer’s eggs. nowadays, no one would dare to even think of badboyhalo going on a random murder spree for fun. because killing eggs is just not something that can be regarded so lightly anymore.

its very amusing how the qsmp very clearly did not expect the eggs to tap into everyone’s parental instinct. they were expecting a fun competition in which everyone would be cutthroat to win the prize. but there isn’t a single person on the server who cares about the prize anymore. keeping their child--and everyone else’s child--alive is a prize in itself.

I've really missed you guys, by the way. I know I've said that already, but I'm serious. Once or twice this year I've been right on the brink of coming back but schedule stuff always keeps me from letting myself commit to that again, and that in turn has kept me from posting anything at all. But I've been in an unexpected drawing mood lately and so if I can get enough stuff to set up a queue we might pretend I'm back for a month or so sometime this year. Maybe. Hopefully. We'll see. Currently Watching: Firefly between season 6 and 7 of Once Upon a Time

Last Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End, with Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom my bisexual self is content. I'm a giant romantic and the post credits scene soothes my heart.

Currently Reading: I just finished Carrie by Stephen King. I originally read the book before seeing the movie/s and I still love it more.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: Sweet, but going vegan I am missing some spice at the moment

Last Thing I Googled: Sims Family Tree, to find the one I had last used that wasn't the Plum Tree App because my sims are just very interconnected

Currently Working On: This bloody cover letter which I've already put off multiple times. Why do we need jobs? Why can't we just exist? (But seriously my "aspiration" is a mix of Soulmate and Big Happy Family. How am I meant to pick a career when I want to be a stay at home mum but can't get started on that until I'm not single *sighs dramatically*)

sorry it’s really messy because my hand hurts too much to hold anything (ulnar nerve compression acting up).

i'll put the notes i made below

traveling outfit notes:

wears the chastity turtleneck ver. sophist robes in amaurot

travelling robes are for, well, travel

design similar to asphodelos gear + hegemone’s robes

sleeveless turtleneck with hip cutouts (lol) is the same as the one under the amaurot robes

the sleeves are cut closer than amaurot wear version

top portion of robes can be rolled down and secured around waist with cord (decorative mask of office)

asphodelos maiming boots + trousers with thigh strap on left

asphodelos fending bracers

weapon notes:

X of divine light recolour (gold/green/black)

casting/healing staff was a gift from venat after finally scoring a hit against her

retractable scythe with aether blade (otherwise it’s blunt-ish)

created the spellblade (gnb) for defense because sometimes you just need a sword

just started thinking about bradley as a teenager struggling with his emotions both pre and post his mother’s death/fall out with maverick but not wanting to reach out for help because a history of mental health problems can get you disqualified from enlisting in the service. happy saturday guys.

#that boy should have been in therapy from ages 2 on up like.#i def hc that carole took him to someone when he was younger but bradley probably stopped going once he was older and was given the choice #but like. idk. picturing carole trying to bring up him going back after she gets sick because she KNOWS he needs to talk to someone #and maverick cant be there all the time. but bradley says no because hes a teenager and hes started thinking about how to make himself +#appealing to the navy and that opens a whole other can of worms where carole sees that but doesnt want to deny him #because she can see hes already having a hard time with things as they are.#mav trying to convince him to go and bradley pointing out it’s hypocritical because maverick doesnt like talking about his feelings either #i just think people ignore his trauma So Much. they only pay attention to the maverick and goose bits #but they fail to consider how even before the maverick stuff happened bradley had a lot to deal with from a very young age #he spent most of his life on his own! he lost the people he loved most OVER and OVER…#the amount of trauma that must have come flooding back when phoenix (&bob but phoenix is clearly bradleys closest friend) had to eject #i think thats why people painting him as angry & agressive because of the scene where he yells at mav never sits right w me #that moment is so incredibly raw for both of them. bradley lashing out when hes just been triggered is not that surprising????#anyways.#carolcore #bradley rooster bradshaw
