I think its a rite of passage to make an au at least once, and ive been thinking super hard about how Sonic raised tails lately. So obviously an age swap au had to happen. Aka, the au in which they are both team turbo nerd and Tails needs a Vacation as a dire medical suggestion. (more rambling in tags)

So was anyone going to tell me Faust is a bigger menace than EVERYONE in the game put together or like. Was I supposed to play the Impossible Choices event (Vincent and Charles ver) myself. this was originally practice for my phonemic english tengwar mode with inherent vowel schwa but it got. a bit out of hand lol. tenchnically the mode’s still under construction but that’s mostly bc I’m running into issues with the guide I wrote for it (mainly font & accessibility issues)

both the ipa and the tengwar transcripts are based on how I personally would pronounce the prophecy if I were to read it aloud slowly & carefully. which is to say I don’t sound that much like a stuck up ass irl lmao. the ipa is mostly based on geoff lindsey’s transcription guidelines for standard southern british, with a few adjustments. also I didn’t use stress markers in monosyllabic words bc I’m lazy

I like to think some of the scav kits that fish cares for have started to refer to him as metal dad when speaking to other scavs, which could be a funny revelation when he starts to pick up on scavenger language.

Also imagine a scav from a different tribe tries to eat one of fishes neurons and gets curb stomped by a bunch of the now adult scavs yelling "no eat metal dad!"

awgh gmsklmkdmklb the second he figures out the noise/motion meaning parental figure he's gon go into such "What." mode... unresponsive for an hour as he tries to figure out why's he a dad suddenly now (← emotionally idiotic man, bless his rarefaction cells)

oh but i LOVE the idea of them protecting him like that!!! Hell yes, he takes care of them n dang it they will repay the favor n that's That. they find a neuron outside of the can (stolen by some creature n then abandoned) and carefully gently collect it and bring it back home,,,

#spot says stuff #rw #oc tag #fish is like a. weird right hand chief to the old harbor tribe/his scav citizens. cuz chieftains do look after kits n take care of them #since they usually stay in base apparently i imagine that being the case. they have a normal proper scav chief and then this ever present-#-giant metal secondary chief that houses them and looks after the kids. n fish has No Damn Idea #i really like how fishs personal story parallels pebbles. specifically with the scavengers #both itties r nerds focused on figuring out the Question. one gets invaded by scavs n gets a slugcat to kill them all #the other heartily n personally invites them to live on top of him n a slugcat (seaf) brings them all to their new home where fish-#-explains how he works enough so that the scavs wouldnt hurt him but would be beneficial to him. n they communicate n interact a lot-#-and all that so any de-evolving of the relationship isnt really possible. cuz fish wants to be present in their lives #he used to love his citizens n interact with them (speaking with his puppet in the lecture hall n everything)

R is the biggest fantasy/sci-fi/etc. nerd ever (a trait they’ve gotten from me, I admit). It’s something I’m so excited to explore further (especially since they’re living part of their nerdy dreams by being at Aurelian). I can’t wait for the moment that Scarlett let’s R meet Balerion… It’s a sweet moment. (Plus Scar is fluent in a fantasy language too, which is something R is going to immediately want to learn so they can have “secret” conversations.)

I just have a lot of fun stuff involved with R… Like having them try to wrangle the dorm into playing D&D.

I wanted to make a cleaner summary of last week's classes and also review the classes I have this week since the material is already uploaded beforehand but I was feeling so horrible throughout the day that when I sat down I was just gonna look at the ones for tomorrow but I think I'm just gonna go to bed because I just gave my little numbers game a few tries and not even the joy of tribial elementary school-level math games is bringing my brain cells and/or full sentience back

I find the idea of a dnd campaign with Kile, R, Vi, Curt, Mc, and Jack incredible funny because I just cannot picture that group hanging out together, I would pay good money to see how they would interact and play it's just such a funny idea to me I don't understand why.

That really is a very fun and unpredictable group 😆 R and Curt are both agents of chaos liable to make dumb decisions and flirt with everything just to see what happens. Vi always takes games too seriously and I can imagine them being genuinely upset when group antics permanently affect their character... and Kile just wants to kill and fight things, with way too much faith in their odds.

How Jack would handle a group like this, I have no idea 😆😆 And how all the potential New Kids could affect such a group, oh god

Ok we need to take about spaceships. I love sci-fi, and I love the CONCEPT of spaceships as much as the next guy, but we need to start being creative. A spaceship can be literally ANYTHING, so why can we only imagine them as giant hunks of metal? Our present is getting in the way of our imagination!!! Like look at these ships

They’re all gorgeous right! But also they’re all different archetypes of the same model. Let’s think big!!!!

Anyways this post was an excuse to post my favorite spaceship from all time, the Black Moon Clan’s ship from the second season of Sailor Moon:

I’ve seen/read so much sci-fi, and yet not ONE of the space ships has this much creativity and uniqueness in design. And the interior too! (Ignore the crucified sailors they got better)

I’m so upset that I haven’t seen anything else play with the sci-fi genre w/ respect to spaceships as much as Sailor Moon did in 1993, which was literally 30 yrs ago 🙄

Hopefully we’ll have more open minds in the future
