NASHURI TWINS PT. 2
The Girl
Tumblr media
(original 🎨 by my friend @commanderbunny, specifically made for me on my bday 💕 love you boo) (YOU CAN SHARE BUT DO NOT REPOST WITHOUT CREDIT!)
Born on the fifteenth day, otherwise known as the day of the Eagle (Men)…
Birth Name(s):
🌎 Men Iik (meaning “spirit of the wind”, her true name)
🌍Princess Nyanga, Daughter of Shuri (given name by the Golden tribe of the sovereign nation of Wakanda)
🌙 Ix Ahuil (“Moon Goddess”), Daughter of K’uk’ulkan (royal name as addressed by the Kingdom of Talokan)
Aliases/Nicknames :
“Daughter of land and sea”
usisi (“sister” in Xhosa)
Íits'in (“little sister” in Yucatec Maya)
In lool (“my flower” in Yucatec Maya)
In ujo' (“my moon” in Yucatec Maya)
intombazana yakho (“my daughter” in Xhosa)
“Warrior princess”
“Bringer of Death”
“Youngest Black Panther”
Ek b’alam also known as “The Black Jaguar” - It comes to no surprise the princess goes against her father’s wishes, especially when it comes to Wakanda. With her twin brother and cousin Toussaint as her accomplices, they would travel to and from Wakanda, where they learned so much about the other half of themselves, of who their mother truly was. This meant everything to the princess whose anger and stubbornness rose each day in her mother’s absence. She was the youngest to receive the title of Black Panther at 15. Although it was not for purest of intentions, rather a way of getting Shuri to come back… and stay. Her mother’s grief and anger robbed them of time. In the future to come, the princess would renounce the title of Black Panther only to take on a new mantle, The Black Jaguar — protector of Talokan & Wakanda respectively.
Chac Chel (“Red Rainbow” or “Great Rainbow”) - Attuma gave the princess this title when he saw her merciless nature on the training fields as a young girl. Born a non-mutant, she had an affinity for proving people wrong and showing her natural abilities in the art of war and strategy. She showed strength, courage and honor. Others thought her dangerous for her constant disregard for the rules, not to mention she had trouble thinking things through. The princess drew arms with Namora and Attuma by the time she was 13.
Abilities:
Weapons master
Gifted martial artist
Expert hand-to-hand combatant
Genius-Level Intellect (i.e. made improvements on water suits for non-mutants, masks on Talokanil, etc.)
after consuming Heart-shaped herb…
Gained ability to breathe underwater
Superhuman strength, speed, durability, healing
Shape shifting - Much like Steven Grant as Moon Knight, the princess formed a special connection with an Ennead (most thought it limited to only the 9 Egyptian gods). Ixchel takes possession of her body when in absolute catastrophic circumstances. It maximizes all her jaguar powers. She does not know if it can be controlled and does not remember when she wakes.
Description:
Born under the moon near the Golden City
Non-mutant, but carries physical features resembling that of her father
She loves and fights fiercely
Known for her recklessness
For the Talokanil, the jaguar was representative of power, ferocity, and valor; it was the embodiment of aggressiveness. It represented the power to face one’s fears, to confront one’s enemies.  They are also associated with vision, the ability to see during the night and to look into the dark parts of the human heart.
The princess remains very hurt by her mother’s comings and goings. Their father K’uk’ulkan promised Shuri he would do everything possible to take care of their children as best he could before she left the first time. This only meant raising them where he knew he could keep them safest, Talokan.
But the girl grew restless, she could not breathe in water like the modern Talokanil. She would sneak away to where she felt most at home, Wakanda. However their father did not frequent nor visited much after Shuri left so he forbade them of going without him. But it never stopped the princess. Sneaking out with Toussaint and taking her twin brother along, formed an unshakable bond between them all.
Her updated Black Jaguar suit does share similarities to Black Panther. However her helmet outlines, details, claws and teeth are embedded with jade, giving the suit a green glow instead of purple.
She loves her brother deeply. The twin heroes they’d call themselves after the Mayan myth. He is her confidant. She couldn’t live with herself if anything happened to him.
Traits:
Strong, confrontational, assertive, independent, protective, stubborn, loyal, passionate, charismatic, practical, sometimes pushed people too far

#NashuriFamily Day 2: Parenthood
@nashurifamilyweekend
What happens when both parents each bring a child to their first council meeting? Poor Namor's not ready for this, his poor headdress too...
At least Shuri's having more luck than him. The twins sure are a handful

Shuri felt safe around Namor.
A year of her mom, her closest friends and family trying to get Shuri to open up about her grief was ineffective. However, after this King who everyone was afraid of, shared his life story, his history, his culture and his secrets with her she felt safe enough to share her complex feelings about her brother's death to him. Grief she had buried within for a year was laid bare, practically spilling her guts to him, in the face of Namor's own openness and vulnerability.
I think Shuri still longs for the connection she had with Namor even after everything that happened. She's more untethered than ever before and longs for the only person she ever felt that instant connection to but she can't go to him because it's not easy to forgive. So she goes to Haiti, the beach, as close to the water as she can and she cries.

Namor with his and Shuri's firstborn.
*I 100% would believe drunk Namor would tell pregnant Shuri, he'd carry their baby like a seahorse if he could. Cause having a immortal beings baby has got to have some extreme symptoms. Kid kicks and cracks Shuri's ribs. Or gets hiccups so Shuri looks like she's skipping as she walks around her lab.
- @wanderingquill
---
Shuri isn't even in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, but her bump appeared as though she was nearing the 3rd! She hadn't gained enough weight, and it seemed like the supernatural power in her veins was just protecting her from tipping over.
She's mad at her husband (her irritation, she admits, is just from the hormones and the deep-seated resentment for his smouldering face that begs for a kiss that she can't give) so he ducks to the mead given by the Asgardians as a wedding gift...
Anyways, Ch'ah Toh returns to Shuri with that smouldering look, begging her to make him an artificial womb so he can bear their children instead, like a seahorse!
Shuri laughs like it hurts, for the first time in months.

❤️⚔️How I imagine Talokanda looking in MCU 10 years. 2036.⚔️🩵
for context: my universe has Talokan’s King (Namor) marrying Wakanda’s Queen (Shuri) as an arranged marriage of convenience. And also Ambassador Okoye of the Border Tribe and General Attuma, Great Rider Marry for love. ❤️⚔️🩵
Tumblr media
As a symbol, the two nations build a place for their children to be raised that is on Wakanda and on the border where Queen Ramonda 🫶🏽 meets Aj’Ku’kul’kan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bast and Chaac (who I in this universe see as being hands on guardians of the two/one nation of Talokanda. Like in laws for their kids who married kids) bless Talokanda with infinite waters and growing vibranium source that is kept by both temple leaders of each nation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also as a gift, Bast and Chaac choose to give the mutation of wings to Nashuri’s child and night vision to all people who share Talokanil and Wakandan bloodlines.
Shuri designs contraptions that keep Talokanda wet and humid (like if a water park met the jungles of Yucatán) . ✨❤️⚔️🩵✨
Next up: the home Attuma builds for Okoye and their growing family in Talokanda 😭✨🩵❤️🥹😍

The Million Dollar Question
(A Nashuri crack Drabble taken seriously)
“Alright, Miss Udaku. We have returned from our commercial break and now it’s time for you to answer your final question. If you get this right, the Wakandan Outreach Center will be receiving one million dollars. Are you going to walk away with what you have, or go for it?”
Shuri takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, thinking of nothing and nobody except for her big brother. Sure, she can donate more than what she already does without the need of this game show, but it has put T’Challa’s dream in the spotlight. It would make not only him, but the children in Oakland extremely proud. She opens her eyes slowly.
“I’m going for it.”
“She’s going for it, folks!” The host laughs excitedly and the audience goes wild. Dramatic music silences them all and the spotlights lower down on her. The question appears on her screen as the host reads it out loud.
“Which Mayan deity is known as The God of the Sky? For a million dollars, is it a) K’uk’ulkan, b) Ah Puch, c) Itzamná , or d) Ek Chuaj?”
Her brows sweat as the time on the clock starts winding down. Of course this had to be her final question, one that mentions that bastard’s name. She knows for sure it isn’t A, and as far as the others go, researching this wasn’t on her list of things to study. She sighs heavily at the last lifeline she has left, knowing she’ll have to call him to ensure a win.
“I’d like to phone a friend.”
One of the workers brings out her kimoyo beads as the host explains to the audience that Shuris ‘friend’ she has to call can only be reached in a special way. The speakers on the stage connect to it via Bluetooth, allowing the audience to hear everything being said. Shuri squeezes the arms of her chair tightly as the beads ring.
Namor picks up on the second one.
“Ah, to what do I owe this pleasure ix ajaw?”
She grits her teeth at his seductive tone. “I’ll explain everything later but right now I need you to answer a question for me as quickly as you can. I’m running out of time.”
There’s a loud sound in the background as if Namor is running, then a splash. “You’re in danger. I’m tracking your location right now. Hold them off until-“
“Stay right where you are!” Shuri snaps and some of the audience members gasp. “Namor, which one of your gods controls the sky!?”
“Why would you like to know that?”
Shuri can feel her heart racing as the time is winding down. “I just need to, alright!? Tell me!”
“…What’s in it for me?”
“Anything!”
“Anything?”
She ignores the way he growls it, fearing that she’ll never get her answer. “Namor…”
“Beg for it.”
Her eyes widen and the host chokes on air.
“What!?”
“You heard me, in yakunaj. Beg for it like I had to the other night.”
She hangs her head, avoiding the camera at all costs. What makes this worse is that this is a live show and all of this embarrassing nonsense can’t be edited out. She has twenty seconds left and a whole community rooting for her. She swallows harshly and murmurs,
“K’uk’ulkan, please. Please…please give it to me.”
“Oh, miiso’… hearing you call me that makes me wish you were right here with me so I can-“
What follows is a series of beeps as the FCC representative censors Namor’s fantasies. Somewhere toward the end, she hears him say the god’s name and hangs up immediately.
“Itzamná.”
The host fans himself after drinking some water. “Is that, uh, is that your final answer?”
“Yes…”
When it’s revealed that she’s correct and confetti falls from the ceiling, Shuri can’t even pretend to be excited that she’s one of the rare few who have won Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. A dirty secret she has been keeping quiet has now been broadcasted to thousands of homes in Wakanda and around the world.
Oh, well.
Maybe Namor will live up to everything he promised he’d do to her. That’ll be one way to cheer her up.
Feigning a smile, she stands up and starts dancing with the audience who has run down to celebrate with her.

Let me go ahead and list the reasons why nashuri/namuri shippers are blind and delusional....
1. He literally killed her mother. (That should be reason enough...)
2. Literally tried to kill Shuri herself.
3. Killed many of innocent civilians in the golden tribe bc only one of his ppl died.
4. Shuri didn't keep the bracelet she literally destroyed it and made and made the flower with it.
5. Stabbed a whole ass spear through shuris chest.
6.huge ass age gap.
7. Imagine shuri having to tell her, and namors children why they can't meet their grandma. Like It doesn't matter how gently you put it it's not gon sound forgivable. "Mommy why can't I meet grandma". "Well baby she died". "How did she die". "Your to young to understand"
Gets older
"Mom you never told me how grandma died". "Well daddy killed my mother because we didn't let our friend riri get executed".
Child:😧😟
7. Ik i said he killed her mom, but can we go back to the fact straight after when he saw shuri bawling her eyes out at the sight of her mother lying lifeless on the floor. He had the nerve to say, "You are queen now."
BITCH WHAT YALL NOT SEEING. There a difference from let's say batman x catwoman or a detective x their target, But shuri x mother murder/attempted murderer is to much.
Take it from a person who eats enemies to lover breakfast lunch and dinner.

Humble Consecration
Tumblr media
nashuri smut | 2/2 | 11.4k words | @nashurifamilyweekend firsts | ao3
It was often gossiped amongst Talokan’s subjects that their king was more devoted to his queen than to the gods.
While Aj’K’uk’ulkan faithfully performed his duties to appease their gods, it was clear that his true devotion was to his wife, Queen Shuri of Wakanda. When he offered generous amounts of jade ornaments to a particular temple, his wife would soon be spotted wearing twice the amount in the form of jewelry. While religious feasts and festivals have always been adequately elaborate, there was a distinct bump in lavishness for his wife’s birthday celebrations. What is worse is that when he would perform important religious ceremonies that would require days of his attention, he became seemingly careless and distant to which he would later apologize and confess that the distraction came from the ache in his heart of missing his wife.
It was after this that his head shaman decided to try and tactfully warn him. They counseled him to not get ahead of himself lest he incur the wrath of a jealous, bitter god. Yet he merely laughed them off—is he not Aj’K’uk’ulkan? The great feathered serpent god that brought the sun to his people? There is nothing he cannot overcome.
Yet he cannot deny some truth in the gossip. It was not that he did not believe in his gods—it’s more that he truly believes his wife deserves worship as much as any of his gods.
He came to this conclusion when she told him that she was finally pregnant with his child. He remembers falling upon his knees at the revelation, the faint beat of a little heart echoing loudly in his sensitive ears—the sweetest music he has ever heard. At last, his tireless devotion to her—in both body and soul—has gifted him a joyous blessing beyond comparison.
For nine long months, Namor pampered, fawned and doted upon his beautiful wife. No request was too small or arduous for the devoted husband—he would be her most faithful worshiper.
When Shuri’s hands and feet swelled up painfully, he would generously massage her body with luxurious oils and soft creams for hours—meticulously scouring for each knotted muscle and stiff joint until even years-old aches faded away.
When she would wake him up in the middle of the night whining about an obscure food craving,he would personally prepare the food himself—Melted chocolate on fried tuna? Dried seaweed dipped in honey? His stomach would shudder at the sight but it would be all worth it seeing the delight in her eyes.
When he caught her with tears as she struggled to zip up a dress due to her expanded waist, Namor enlisted every seamstress he could find in their kingdoms to create a whole new wardrobe fit not for a queen—but a living goddess. As scandalous as it might be, that is truly how he saw her.
For how else could he explain the happiness she brought into his life? She must be divine as each day is a blessing in her presence.
Until one morning, during a visit to the Wakandan markets, Namor spies an approaching Attuma in the crowded streets. It seems like they weren’t the only family who decided to attend the markets today. In his arms, Zolani waves excitedly, while beside him Shuri gestures his general over. Attuma looks exhausted yet content, with a battalion of children excitedly chattering around him. All of his children. A strange envy curls in Namor’s gut—not unlike the gnawing ache he is familiar with. Okoye and Attuma had triplets—on their first try. Twins on their second. He finally spies Okoye waddling in the back, heavy with their first single (and allegedly, final) child. He can only assume their marriage bed must be spun out of cloth blessed by Ix Chel’s moonlight.
“Nicté! Nicté!” Zolani calls out excitedly to the middle child of Attuma’s bunch. The only girl amongst all the boys. With his daughter squirming to go them, Namor carefully puts her on the ground but holds onto her arm to whisper a reminder to be on her best behavior and not to wander too far. Zolani nods quickly—half listening. Placing a soft kiss on her head he lets his daughter go and watches her zoom into the crowd of children that greets her enthusiastically.
It is at this moment, he spies a faraway look upon Shuri’s face—one full of yearning. Yearning for what? He traces her gaze that lands upon Okoye, who was rubbing her round belly with a grimace. Subconsciously, Shuri brushes her own hand over her belly—ah. Namor smiles softly, nudging her, “Go to them.”
“But I haven’t paid for our purchases—”
“I’ll handle it. I know how much you adore their children.”
Shuri beams at him, giving him a small peck on the cheek in appreciation before following after their daughter, greeting the children and their parents with a bright grin. With a knowing smile, Okoye offers her belly to her queen and Shuri gently places a hand on it, excited to feel the life within. Namor watches on with the stirring ache in his gut—the picture of his wife with a bountiful bunch of children around her just seemed right. More than right. Necessary.
It takes a moment before the wheels begin to spin in his head, causing the ground to shift beneath his feet and the air to be driven out of his lungs. The world around him blurs into a haze as he pictures the children around his wife with slightly sharper ears and winged feet. It all snaps into place.
He wants a child—another one. Of course! How could he be so blind to the obvious?
He was so caught up in the joy of his firstborn that he did not even consider having a second. Yet as Zolani grew older, more independent, he could no longer deny his squirming desire. He wants another baby to cherish and adore. He wants to see Shuri swell once more. He wants to watch his daughter doting upon their younger sibling with a bright smile. He wants this—and more. He quivers in anticipation.
Not only at the prospect of having another little one but once again delighting in the challenge of impregnating his wife. Not that their sex life was any less active—even with the balancing act of running two kingdoms and raising a child, they still find time to partake in carnal delights with each other during the week. Yet there was something a little different about trying for a baby. He can remember the memories so delightfully.
He remembers whispering obscene promises of filling her as he folds her in half, fucking her within an inch of her life. His cock pounds her cunt mercilessly and her walls clenched so sweetly as she knows that his words are no longer just fantasy, but reality. He recalls the primal satisfaction that flooded in his mind as he finished deep inside her, knowing that it is within possibility that he will give her the baby they desire. He will be the reason she swells so perfectly—her round belly and swollen tits will be physical proof of his devotion towards her. His worship. Yet he will still fuck her and fill her again, and again and—
“Baba, where’s my brother?”
“Hmm?”
It seems that in all his lewd daydreaming, he did not realize that his daughter returned to his side with a newly acquired ice cream cone in hand. Namor blinks. It seems that Shuri has spent the rest of their market money on acquiring all the children some treats from the snack stall. His daughter licks the sugary treat, oblivious to her father’s lecherous thoughts.
“Nicté has many brothers—and I have none.”
Namor smiles softly—Oh his sweet, spoiled daughter. If Zolani wants a sibling, who was he to deny her?
“Would a little sister do?”
Zolani shrugs, “Can’t I have both?”
Both. Yes, both would be good. He chuckles to himself—his daughter is a genius. Truly her mother’s daughter.
“Baba, you are making a weird face.”
He pats her head before catching Shuri’s question eye with a knowing look.
Tonight, he vows, a sibling for his daughter and a baby for his wife.

NASHURI TWINS PT. 1
The Boy
Tumblr media
(original 🎨 by my friend @commanderbunny, specifically made for me on my bday 💕 love you boo) (YOU CAN SHARE BUT DO NOT REPOST WITHOUT CREDIT!)
Born on the fourteenth day, otherwise known as the day of the Jaguar (Ix)…
Birth Name(s):
🌎Ix Muun (meaning “tender”, his true name)
🌍Prince N’Jata, Son of Shuri (given name by the Golden tribe of the sovereign nation of Wakanda)
☀️Kinich Ahau (Sun God), Son of K’uk’ulkan (royal name as addressed by the Kingdom of Talokan)
Aliases/Nicknames:
“First son of the first son”
“Son of Suns”
unyana wam (“my son” in Xhosa)
in paal (“my child” in Yucatec Maya)
ubhuti (“brother” in Xhosa)
suku’un (“older brother” in Yucatec Maya)
Och Kan (meaning “Vision Serpent”) - Shortly after turning five years of age, the young prince dreamed of death — that of a whale. The next day his people found strangely their whales missing, vanished without a trace. They supposed someone or something had done this. He felt panicked. He did not know what it meant until more and more his dreams came true. They came to realize his dreams were not dreams at all. The gods granted him visions, an access to the spirit world where he could travel to & from the mortal realm. Talokan’s shaman knew immediately this boy had the gift of foresight — the ability to see into the future. Except the future is never as certain as it seems, even with a power as strong as his.
Abilities:
Seer - which includes divination, clairvoyance, precognition
Flight - he grew wings on his back instead of the ankles
Superhuman strength, speed
inherited X gene from Namor - thus he breathes underwater and above the surface
Description:
Born under the sea with the Sastun (“Sun”) at its highest
“Heir to the throne of Talokan” - The prince feels pressure from his father to learn the trades and one day rule the kingdom and take care of his people. K’uk’ulkan requires the prince to keep the “sun” to his people, he is named after the sun god after all. However he’s inclined to go with his sister to the surface world, save people, soar high in the skies, much like an eagle.
He admits he did not take interest in becoming a great warrior. The prince prefers to stay in Talokan where he’s comfortable and enjoys time alone. However his loneliness creeps up time to time and he’s entangled in his sister’s schemes and her wishes to sneak out to Wakanda. She would not survive without him. Nor he her.
The prince works with Talokanil priests and shaman where he focuses on being a healer, working with medicine and taking care of crops.
He CAN hunt and knows his way around the “forest” that is the open sea.
One of his and his sister’s favorite activities is playing Pok-a-Tok (“ballgame”), some would say they have mastered this sport but the twins are never satisfied knowing there’s always room for improvement
Uses obsidian blades for bloodletting practices, Talokan knows royal blood is of value and has to be given willingly for the gods to grant him visions when he most needs them. Polished obsidian mirrors may also be used in this process
Very introverted yet wishes to stand out more, to achieve a level of assertion only his sister demonstrates.
The prince is very secretive about his visions, he feels he cannot trust anyone with certain information.
Traits:
Soft-spoken, spiritual, mysterious, clever, sophisticated, strategic, sensitive, intuitive, natural born leader, can seem manipulative
Something still haunts the boy, a vision he saw soon after turning 16. The Talokanil had legends of the old world before they departed towards the sea. It spoke of an eclipse where the moon covered the sun, as if day were night. An omen of destruction, of death that could not go unseen. Even so, the boy told no one. Not his father, the god-king. Not even his sister, the warrior. Especially not her. His visions continued and the more he saw the more he feared. She would be the end of Talokan, the end of an era. But his visions weren’t always right. So is she Chac Chel, destroyer of worlds? Or could she be Talokan’s only hope in salvation?

Since it doesn't bother you, I share the second part of the small headcanon.
Little Saya's scream was the one that alerted everyone to the return of her family. Namora was the first to emerge, her wet face furrowed into a frown that made her husband smile. Holding each of her hands was a girl with frizzy hair and pointy ears and in the other a small version of herself, all three girls guiding peacefully towards the shore.
Soon the sound of the insistent flapping of tiny wings filled the air and the queen stood up smiling, ready to receive her little ruffian in her arms. Thus, the boy came out of the water and literally flew towards his mother, instantly drenching her. His three older cousins ran after him, cheering happily with buckets in their little hands.
The 3 kids stopped right between Okoye and Ross to show their younger siblings the beautiful glowing fish their mom/aunt had helped them get. Soon all the children will be stored in a circle, looking and stroking their little finds.
Shuri, Okoye, and Ross approached Namora, who leaned on her husband's shoulder and brushed a kiss to the top of her baby's head with a lingering grimace of exasperation.
- What did my big clumsy do now? - Inquired Okoye, who was accompanied by a laugh from Shuri. They were both looking at their husbands out of the corner of their eyes even from a distance, heads bowed and rubbing their necks painfully. Namora rolled her eyes before answering, she loved her brothers but those Idiots were going to end up being her death.
Here are the names and ages of the children:
-Ixchel (Romora) 8 years
-Zyanya (Nashuri) 8 years (3 months younger than her cousin)
-Kante (Attukoye) 7 years
-Nohek (Romora) 5 years
-Canek (Romora) 5 years
-Kinich (Nashuri) 4 years
-Sinanche (Romora) 3 years
-Saya (Attukoye) 1 year, 9 months
-Saasil (Romora) 10 months
-Dayami (Nashuri)
-Saasilen (Nashuri)
(The twins Dayami and Saasilen just a couple of weeks after being born) And yes, the names of little Saasil and little Saasilen were chosen to match their mommy/daddy's.
I would really love to flesh this out but I suck at writing so I hope you enjoy this little headcanon, I really do have a bunch of random data from this possible future timeline.
Kisses.
P.S. I write anonymously because it makes me feel sorry
This is absolutely brain numbingly sweet. Like I can imagine the sound of their laughs, Namora's annoyance with her brothers, Ross's face lighting up the moment her sees her 😭🥹😍
All of this is just *chefs kiss* so cute and perfect.
Thank you for sharing it!! Also love all the names you've given them, it's so unique 💖💖💖
I'm kicking my feet and giggling just by imaging all the three couples be happy together 😭✨💖

The Children of Okoye of Wakanda and Attuma of Talokan
+ bonus: Nashuri’s Daughter - Itzia

Tadeas - The Rhino 🦏
Tumblr media
He was a sweet sensitive and shy boy growing up, he was very in tune with people’s emotions and how they felt. But unfortunately his parents could not shield him from the violence of the real world. When he was around 8 years old, he was out playing with the rhinos (his mother often commented how close he was to them and his father said they would be his wayob or ‘chosen animal’)
He went following the rhinos, further than he should’ve been, and witnessed a poacher group of elephant and rhino hunters. They saw him and decided to try and shoot him, they wanted ‘no witnesses’ and thought “some young African kid, just get rid of him”, his favorite rhino shielded him from the bullet and died there, roaring for Tadeas to run for his life. Tadeas ran for his father and when they went back, Attuma killed the poachers and reported it to Queen Shuri. But Tadeas was forever changed. It changed his worldview. His family gave the rhino a hero’s burial and Okoye comforted her son but noticed he did not cry anymore. He was numb. She cried to Attuma that night bc while her child was safe, those poachers had taken her innocent son. And she feared she might never see him again.
After that Tadeas focused mostly on training and feeding his rhinos. His father saw how quiet his son was these days and wanted to do something, his daughter Xyanza suggested they take him to Talokan for the first time. See, Tadeas was unable to breathe underwater. he has no gills and so he had not yet been to Talokan even at 9 years old. Though Xyanza didn’t quite see why not, she didn’t understand why she and Baba went to Talokan often but not Mama or Tadeas.
So they brought him to Talokan, and told him to stay in his room overlooking the city, glass panels giving him and other visiting Wakandans the ability to see over the city. At first he did stay put, but Xyanza said “You’re still sad… how about I sneak you out and we can go play a game with the other children!” Not knowing that normal humans will die underwater bc of the dense atmosphere. Awful idea but she was only 9.
His sister held his hand and Tadeas was able to go into the depths of Talokan. They snuck him a breathing mask and the other children of Talokan showed him lots of places, he wasn’t as good of a swimmer and they had to hold his hand, but he fell in love with Talokan. He finally smiled for the first time in months looking out at the kingdom and Xyanza was proud she had been able to make him happy again.
Meanwhile, Okoye comes back to the room to entertain her son and call for her daughter only to find that they are both gone. Under normal circumstances she would’ve been calm and okay, but she was pregnant again and had already been hesitant to bring Tadeas so deep under the surface. She screamed for her husband and Attuma came running.
They sent a search party to find the children. Namor, Namora and Attuma went themselves to look from them and found them atop a steep cliff on a trench. Attuma raced toward his son and enveloped him in a hug while the other Talokanil surrounded Tadeas like “YOURE NOT WEARING A SUIT… HOW ARE YOU ALIVE????”
So they bring him back to the Talokan Palace and he is scolded by his mother who is in tears and Xyanza is given a stern talking to, but she didn’t understand he could’ve died. Tadeas is unremorseful however, he has tears in his eyes as he tells everyone how wonderful Talokan is! Shuri does a few tests and discovers that although he is not able to breath water, he still is immune to the depths of Talokan. Now knowing that his children could both train in Talokan, His father says it’s about time his son began to train with Talokanil children, but Okoye is hesitant once more.
“Umama, please… I have not known happiness in some time. Please let me train. You trust me right?” He son said, tugging at her dress and nuzzling her hand in his hair. Had to turn up the cuteness to convince Umama.
“No. You are not old enough to be trusted with such a thing! Attuma, talk to him!”
Attuma nervously cleared his throat. “I believe it is time, Okoye. We’ve held them both off for long enough, you see how their hands long for the blade.”
“We said, we wouldn’t-“
“This illustrates not forcing them, in K’iino… he reaches for it, just as we did at their age.” Tadeas looked between his mother and father and nodded eagerly at his fathers words. “How we wanted to protect and serve.”
Okoye shook her head. “I did not know better then. I know now.”
“Mama, please!” “I forbid it!” Of course, the children eventually began to sneak out and train at late night, which made Okoye absolutely cry from worry and Attuma have to scold them even if he was in support of them training. “You will be the end of your mother if you continue to act like this. Chaac forbid it.”
Often she would fake faint just to guilt trip them, but it stopped working when their father subtly informed them of what she was doing. Okoye glared at her husband from she laid dramatically on the bed as her children shook their heads at her. After that, she finally allowed them to train freely. Reluctantly, after she gave birth to the triplets, she recovered and a year later began to formally train in the way of the Dora the twins at 11 years old. Xyanza went to Dora camps after that.
Tadeas is very close to his little triplet sisters once they begin to talk, they latch onto him and he is often the one In charge of watching them.
He’s the oldest so he’s very often the one in charge or held responsible for hijinks. He idolizes his mother and father but mostly wants to fully emulate his father. He’s a bit jealous that his sisters can breathe water and not him.
His skills include: swimming (he had to train to swim like a Talokanil, it didn’t come naturally) holding his breath for up to 10 minutes, battle ax combat, espionage, long range combat, night vision (all children of both talokan, and Wakanda were given night vision by Bast and Chaac as a gift of unity)
Xyanza - The Eel 🐍
Tumblr media
When she was born she had gills and could breathe water as well as air. I’d on the battle field, you’ll often find her in a body con suit that changes color with her surroundings. She is known as the eel for her swimming ability and stealth.
She was able to go to Talokan and stay there for days or even weeks while her brother had to stay home until he turned 14 and he could come unsupervised.
She’s the bleeding heart (very similar to her auntie Nakia) she was Namor’s little grand baby when he would hang around them all the time. She was the sweetest baby and her mother and father predicted she would be sly and cunning. She is a master of stealth even if she is 5’11 and close to 150 pounds. She towered over her mother by the time she turns 15 and Okoye be like “🤨 you think you can beat my ass?” And Xyanza is like “mom, chill, I just asked what’s for dinner…” “I DO NOT SERVE YOU EEL” “Umama be CALM”
She is a good friend of Itzia as well as trains with the Dora often. She and her brother were close until he began to become vindictive and angry as a teenager, they still have their sibling moments but it’s hard for them to be friends with their opposing views.
“Xyanza… your brother still loves you of course… how could he not?”
“He has become so dark and closed off, Mama… I do not even recognize him anymore.” Xyanza weeps into Okoye’s arms. She misses her brother, she misses her best friend.
“He is going through things he must navigate himself. But his love for you has not stopped. He is blinded by rage right now. It happens to the best of us. Do not cry for he is not gone.” :((
She a thickly thick broad too. Very popular with all the youth of Talokanda. Wide hips, lil waists but built! She is STACKED! Call her the Willow smith bc her parents are powerful and she’s a bad bitch.
She very much is an icon in their kingdom, people wear her clothing and suck up to her a lot but it’s not difficult bc she is a sweetheart, though very competitive. When she’s being normal think Ty Lee but when she’s in a competition or match off she turns full on Azula. She’s smart as a whip and very easy to fall for. She has some of her fathers features but her face is her mamas. The side eyes and stank faces are completely her mothers.
She trained for many years as a Dora. And her mother was excited to think her daughter would follow in her footsteps but Xyanza is not the girl to be an obedient soldier. She questions authority and is steadfast in her personal beliefs.
She still has not told her mother she doesn’t want to be a Dora. Her mother is the Head of Border Defense and General of the Midnight Angels… how can she tell her nationalist African mother that she wanted to be a spy/war dog?
Her skills include: swimming (Talokanil, Contorting her body (Eel) Night vision (Talokanil) Camouflage, close range combat) Think Ty Lee from Avatar TLAB
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Itzia - The Clawed Serpent 🪽
Tumblr media
She’s a goofball fr, he relationship with her mom isn’t the tightest but she still loves her and knows her mother loves her too.
She’s much closer to her father, or she was until he began to push her away when she turned around 13… she doesn’t know why (see this post for the reason) and instead turns her attention to her closest friends, Tadeas and Xyanza for her chosen family. She’s a massive rebel and a bad influence.
She will not do what she’s told, she don’t give a fuck that her dad is the godking of Talokan and her mother is the black panther and queen. She definitely gives “I didn’t ask for this life” but she’s truly the life of the party.
She’s got namor’s trademark wolf smile, pointed ears and winged feet but besides that she absolutely her mother’s daughter. @mickimomo maybe she’s tight with her auntie ora and auntie oni 👀👀
Her skills include: lesbianism/rizz, flight, superhuman strength, Siren song of Pathos (think blue Diamond), Night vision (All Talokandan children), She has a good lie detector in her brain
