This new arc is making me get all sorts of ideas to explain how/why Minerva's kingdom stayed hidden despite their philosophy of loving knowledge

Romora's not had any kind of war since the leaders closed themselves off from the outside world and installed the wall of Mist, but they're constantly training in case of war. Obviously a nation of scholar-warriors would know that they can't rely on their old forms of weaponry, so there have been lots of new inventions and innovations in warfare despite not having any conflict for centuries.

Some of these would be pretty familiar to outsiders: high-capacity rifles and submachine guns, equipment for recon and other forms of combat, as well as communication besides DenDen Mushi and surveillance ON Denden Mushi. But secretly, there are weapons that the leaders keep very tightly under wraps to a) reduce the risk of panic among citizens or b) hundreds of objectors and a potential rebellion.

These weapons are ones that have currently NOT been seen or used so far in One Piece. Bioweapons and engineered viruses, which Romoran citizens have been unknowingly vaccinated against just in case a war occurs and it has to be released; airships and technology for sky-based combat; insidious weapons using robots designed to look like women and children as a way to disarm enenies; and most dangerously, atomic weapons.

A lot of preparation has gone into keeping these projects under wraps and there are dozens of countermeasures for if they had to be used according to the nation's leaders. Those in charge of the country's perimeter defenses have been constructing a lead-lined shell that, when activated, will cover the entire island and create artificial sunlight to perpetually keep the island insulated from radiation forever after using nuclear weapons on outsiders.

These kinds of weapons are SUPPOSED to be proposed to the public in order to democratically decide and debate if they should be created/used. But the government of Romora used some secrecy to have secret elections among themselves, and thus the public has no idea about these countermeasures.

Now that Minerva's escaped the kingdom and would potentially cause the World Government to make a move on Romora, she has no idea of the real consequences of those actions.

Some dolls of Minerva's "default" outfit after the Kid Pirates give her a new wardrobe that fits the crew's vibe, and then what she wears during Punk Hazard! Kid also gives her a little choker necklace with a hidden little dagger inside, since she insisted that any jewelry she wore needed some kind of function.

For Punk Hazard, I wanted something a little less red to show her being separate from Kid. And the greens and blues work nicely with her hair and glowing eyes when she uses her Devil Fruit imo. Instead of a new scarf, she just uses her headscarf like she normally would. I also wanted to imagine what she'd look like when she flips her shit at Caesar Clown for violating every major ethical standard and protocol in his research and is about two seconds from killing him lol. Those arm wraps are hardened leather bracers from Romora, btw!

"Heptire." Aevlic lowered his dark glasses from his face. His eyes were the color of a fading rose and for a minute, Romorae felt his breath as if it were ghost. "You are what I want. Your love makes me whole."

Romorae breathed in, though it hurt. "You don't understand, Saptre. I'm a tribune of the Seventh. You shall only be whole for a blink if you choose me."

"Oh, please. You and I are both of dying blood."

"Yet my blood bubbles in my veins, it burns me from the inside out." he traced Aevlic's palms with his shaking hands. "I am doomed. I feel as if I will be pulled adrift at any moment

"You are strong."

"I am as strong as I am dead. Leave me and move on."

"But—"

"Please." Romorae pushed Aevlic's hand away. "Go."

Romora Re-draw. My drawing of my O.C Romora is one of my favorite drawings that I have ever done, but that was a while ago now. So let’s draw her again! I’d like to hope that I have improved over time, but that’s not something I can be too sure of. What I can be sure of is that my art style has changed quite a bit since I initially drew Romora and thus this was a good time for a re-draw.

What kind of offering does Romora and Tosha accepts?

The usual fruit offering for Romora. He has a soft spot for flowers, so why not? He’s not picky on what kind of flowers you can give. And for some reason, cinnamon and vanilla.

A fruit offering or meat can works for this crow guy. But give him one of these three, he might give you something in return. He won’t tell what it is, but you can not reject it.

Hidden talents Wakanda forever version:

Namora definitely sings, she is a siren.

Okoye is a dancer, interpretive dance combined with folklore storytelling.

Attuma definitely knits in his free time or weaves baskets.

Namor makes handmade jewellery. Personalized rings and necklaces.

M'baku loves to cook. He'll spend time in his kitchen baking cakes and icing them.

Ross is an astronomy geek. He slips away at midnight to see the stars.

Shuri likes to dabble with fashion design. If she's not making tech gear, she making a couture gown.
