It’s taken me like forever to watch pentagons comeback but I finally watched it, please hold your applause, and it’s nice. I like the dark colors and the sets and things. I really love that Shinwon grew his hair out, the tree line looks great with long hair 3/4 now just need nan-nan to grow his hair out. Yuto unfortunately cut his hair and he looked great with long hair.

Anyway, the boy is back. Jinho looked stunning and vocals as perfect as ever. I remember when he cried on kingdom before going in and I cried too. It felt so weird having him go in cause he didn’t seem old enough yet. Glad he’s back and doing what he excels at. I have missed Pentagon a lot those crazy kids. Hongseok and Kino’s vocals were wonderful and ‘sparkling night’ that song is so gentle and nice to listen too. I love nan-nan in the green suit in ‘feelin like’ tho, his lil bean arms. The tree line looked amazing, Wooseok in specs and dark blue hair and I love when Wooseok sings he’s got such a lovely voice. I love how many genre’s pentagon has done over the years and they do such a great job with everything, very hardworking boys. Also also Yeoone just gets more and more beautiful each day ya’know? He’s gonna be one of those guys that grows up and when he’s like late 30’s/early 40’s people are gonna be like ‘he fine fine’ ya’know how some idols just age so beautifully? Yeoone’s one of them for sure.

Bill would answer, ‘who are you?’ With a panicked ‘oh I’m Bill and that’s my Nan’ and 13 would just 😑 bc now she really doesn’t look old enough to look like her grandparent so Bill has to quickly change it to ‘mum’

13 would be adorable trying to play wingman for Bill and a girl she likes, convincing her to go and get the cute waitresses number and Bill would be embarrassed like mad bc you don’t want your Nan trying to get you hooked up

Bill would ship 13 and Yaz bc she can see how happy 13 looks when she’s with her, but turn away all ‘ew’ when they finally kiss bc who wants to see their Nan kiss someone

Bill would yell at her and call her a stupid arsehole bc she went and out herself in danger and then hug her really tight and try not to cry bc she already lost her granddad and she doesn’t wanna lose her nan too and it’s the first time the Doctor doesn’t correct her or mind that title and just hugs her back

I need to talk about Cash Piggott and how important his character is to the asexual community.

I absolutely adore the fact that Cash calls people out on their acephobia and never, ever apologises for who he is. He doesn't think he's broken.

In season one, we see Darren say "you know what, I think there's something really fucking wrong with you, Cash," and Cash immediately, with no hesitation, screams "well fuck you then".

In season two, we see Dusty say that he's being selfish asking Darren to give up sex and he immediately stands up and says "fuck this" because he knows he doesn't have to listen to people making him feel bad about his sexuality.

And when he's talking to his nan about it, Cash says "it's not fair, I would do anything, why does it have to be the one thing I can't change about myself?"

In every single one of these scenes, we never see Heartbreak High blame Cash for his sexuality. We never see him apologise to anyone for not feeling sexual attraction, and we never see him feel guilty about it, or try to change who he is.

CA$H recognises that his sexuality might be difficult for people to accept and understand, but he never lets other people make him feel like he's broken, or flawed. And that's so powerful to see.

Because asexual people are not broken. And we can't be fixed. And we are not being selfish for putting in boundaries.

I absolutely adore Douglas Piggott. He means the world to me, and this representation is so, so important.

Oh? A Customer?

So, I imagine that Soap is around 5'11, which is not short at all, even if it seems so if you look at the people he works with.

However, from his whole family, he is the tallest.

His da is 5'8, his brother is 5'9, his sisters are 5'2 and 5'3 and his mam is 5' nothing. To his family, Johnny is not only tall but also overgrown.

(This is also why entering the military was a shock to the system --- Soap was used to being pretty tall if not the tallest person around and then boom, he's smol)

The first time Soap takes Ghost to his family home, he is instantly named a giant. Literally, his mam when she sees him says something along the lines of 'and I thought my boy was a giant' and his da makes the typical joke of 'what does the army feed you?' and one of Soap's sister says she 'woulda climb him like a tree too if she had the chance' and his brother goes all 'was gonna give the fella a shovel talk but I think he's too big too bury by myself any case'. Soap is so embarrassed by them but Ghost is awkwardly shy anytime his height is pointed out.

On top of it, he tries to help Soap's mam in the kitchen (I like to think he likes to cook) and there is the comical image of her, standing there tiny at 5'0 and Ghost towering over her at 6'3 or 6'4 (Soap's not sure, Simon slouches often) and trailing behind her as she orders him around. There's literally a moment when she goes to grab herself a step ladder to reach something on the top shelf and Ghost just stretches his arm a bit and gets it for her. She might or might not ask if he can dust the cobwebs from the corners of the ceilings she can't reach herself. (Ghost dusts the cobwebs, duh, even if Johnny can't snicker at him enough).

Johnny's brother uses Ghost's height to make his kid eat his veggies, 'if you eat your veggies, you're going to grow as tall as him'. Ghost goes along with it.

The kids in general treat him like a walking jungle gym --- especially because he's not only tall but also strong enough to function as a walking jungle gym. One of Soap's nieces who used to love piggyback rides from him now insists Ghost has to be the one because he makes her feel taller than Soap does.

They're supposed to sleep in Soap's childhood bedroom and Soap's da brings in an ottoman and a couple of pillows so Ghost's feet 'don't stick out'. Soap laughs it off until he realizes that Ghost's feet would, in fact, stick out from his tiny double bed if he slept straightened out.
