right, sexualities of all my MAIN characters from ALL my wips (as i can best describe them)

i'm leaving out rouge ocs like stellan or lauchlan just cuz they don't have a story they're just vibing lol. i'm also leaving out ones where i genuinely don't know yet like itri or seamus.

hyacinthus shrapnel (paramour) -> gay but extremely picky. he was wholly uninterested in sexuality and sex AT ALL until amon

amon (paramour) -> gay and he’s being very whorish about it

lavendula calderon (requiem for the monochrome) -> bisexual but hasn’t really been able to explore her attraction to non-men until the story starts.

erecia (requiem for the monochrome) -> straight-lesbian. she’s butch & troibemme (nb in this universe) but would consider herself bigender she/he in our terminology and fully considers herself both a man and a woman at the same time. she would honestly prefer the label straight-lesbian more than sapphic bc she’s not a woman all the time and that speaks to her experience more than anything.

narcissus spokes (prim & provocative) -> aro-graysexual (sex and romance positive). it’s something she comes to discover throughout her narrative. she doesn’t really experience or feel romance or desire for sex in a traditional way; she desires being wanted so she wants those things for herself but she doesn’t experience the actual attraction herself. she didn’t realize it bc on paper before her divorce, she didn’t have to question any of it—being with myrtus and being casually intimate but never hot and heavy seriously never bothered her. once he leaves though, through meeting new friends (i’m cooking) and generally going through it grants her new perspective.

tagetes gunn (empire) -> aroace (kink positive). the only attraction they have is to power.

kirsi sunniva (alizath) -> bisexual, with a preference for mascs

quill (teardrops of the gods) -> bisexual, with a preference for femmes

darren de leon (vampires don't take roadtrips) -> bisexual with a preference for mascs. he actually thought he was gay for most of his life until he turned like 14 and then he realized "oh, girls are kinda hot too"

jenna magboo (jenna the reaper / jenna the witch king) -> bi-ace lesbian. she and carlos are in a qpr basically but in terms of fleeting romantic feelings she'd align more with lesbian (all of her 'crushes' have been women or femme-aligning but she doesn't experience attraction That strongly) but she also doesn't think she's had enough experience to say she's not bi also. lesbian is an important label to her especially because both of her mothers are lesbian, but she also knows she's young and likes the complexity of her labels.

carlos carvalho (jenna the reaper / jenna the witch king) -> aroace (sex/romance repulsed). in a qpr and is a caretaker of jenna - though when i say they're in a qpr its a very unspoken thing between them. like, jenna's whole goal is to become a witch and then make carlos her familiar so they're never separated, so i think that's very explicit about what they are to each other pff.

n blackburn (dead rites) -> the way that n barely registers his sexuality bc he's married to his work LMAOOOO. he'd say that he's pan, it really has more to do with the mental connection than physical attraction for him so anything is fair game (but again... married to his work actually)

beau bellerose (dead rites) -> gay gay homosexual gay

jihan (supernatural dads) -> pan, he's too old to have a preference and he's very open to experimenting.

hue rvynwell (supernatural dads) -> gay and he definitely had a crisis about it when he was growing up. however in his family it was such a nonissue LMAO they were like "why the hell would we care about that just make sure you have a kid" and whaddya know, he had 2!

piper fairwind (tcol) -> queer probably but she doesn't really think about any of that. if she were in our world, labels would be like the most meaningless shit to her LMAO.

san dearborn (tcol) -> aro-queer. romance is just not something she can wrap her head around however she does get into a... teammate with benefits relationship in book 2 that i think is funny as fuck.

interlude: WILDER than the WIND

Summary: Down in the Shenandoah Valley, there lay a court consisting of the Grim, the Drowned, the Witch and the Watcher.

I felt Nick’s hands settle on my hips before he pulled me closer, adjusting me so I settled onto his lap. I let out a tiny sound, almost a squeak, in surprise, and he froze.

“Did I hurt you? Is your hip—“

“It’s fine,” I said, grabbing his face to pull him back in. I slid my fingers through his long raven hair, tangling at the nape of his neck, as I tried to ground myself in the moment. In response, Nick let out a sound like a hum against my lips.

The tip of his tongue lightly dragged up from my bottom lip to my cupid’s bow, like a permission to enter. I gently parted my lips, meeting his tongue with mine, and I almost melted at the taste. It was so Nick, with the hint of his last cigarette lingering.

The intensity ramped up as he slid his hands down from hips to my thighs, and he gripped them a little harder, hard enough to make me gasp into his mouth and roll my body up into his. The sound seemed to release him as he pulled away to kiss a trail of hot, open-mouthed kisses from my chin, to my jaw, to behind my ear lobe. While his hands stayed rooted firmly to my waist under my shirt, my hands were free to roam wherever they wanted. I managed to unbutton his flannel shirt and then dipped under his tee and up his stomach. His skin was hot but soft.

I could feel him tug at the hem of my shirt. He said something into the space between our lips, but my brain was having a hard time processing anything besides the feeling of his skin underneath my fingertips. “What?” I asked with a breathy moan.

Although I’d prefer plot over romance, I do MxF and MxM or NBxM/F ships. I may be convinced to do FxF as well but not as the main pairing. I’m okay with smut, but not as the primary plot focus. If you only play submissive / bottom OCs I’m not interested, sorry! Some are fine, but I don’t want every one of my characters to be forced to be dominant, I mostly play switches and would prefer my partner did as well.

resubmitting bc i forgot! ✨✨ afab 25 year old looking for descriptive 20+ roleplay partners, for something smutty leaning and original! i’m looking for 60/40 smut to plot ratio, though that isn’t to say we can’t have fluff or other things happening, as I love angst as well honestly.

i’m looking for someone who writes a minimum of 2-3 paragraphs (3-5 sentences), but if the muse takes me i can write way more. additionally, this will be 1x1, oc x oc, as I’m not looking to double at this time. any gender character welcome though! please note though that all my ocs are afab, so this would be mxf, fxf, or m/f x nb.

it’s not exactly a requirement, but i would love love love someone i could talk to oorp and be able to gush about our characters / plot with them. i just find if people don’t return the energy, it kind of kills the roleplay for me. i love making playlists and moodboards and stuff, and sending them, so!

anyone interacting must be okay with diverse ocs, i largely use people of color and/or plus size ones.

most of my characters are switches, but depending on who you have interest in, i’m totally cool with being dom/top.

• a hardworking single mom w/ a sick son that nighttimes as a stripper (i can also completely flip this though, and use her any sugar mommy type plots!)

• an androgynous punk w/ a penchant for the arts and activism, who’s scared to fall in love again

• a taxidermist combatting dark and/or violent thoughts and obsessive behavior, from a small town in louisiana (can also play her as a swamp witch, if you’re more fantasy inclined!)

• another single mom, but she’s a kindergarten teacher, gigantic nerd, and hopeless romantic

i also have other ones who are a bit less solid in my head, but i’d also love to use. i’m welcome to plot ideas if you have any, but also i am open to anyone wanting to play a monster in a monsterfucker roleplay! it would be against a human or human-esque being- like a fairy, witch, elf, etc. i’m also open to a more sci fi vibe with aliens and stuff!

I've been dealing with a little bit of a cold this last week on top of the normal spoonie-ness, so it was slow going on my most recent sewing project -- the hooded wrap, not quite a cape, not quite a shawl, definitely not a scarf, definitely not a robe thing -- which Jack says I need a better name for lol -- but with pacing and slow incremental progress, I was actually able to finish it in pretty good time.

Ironing and pinning the very long hem was the most time consuming part, but pacing myself actually allowed me to slow down and handsew all the corners into place before I put it through the sewing machine, which resulted in much crisper edges than I would have had if I was rushing to finish it. This time last week I wasn't sure if I would be able to machine sew the hem, but I actually like the look of the top stitching it produces, so I went with what was both easier and nicer looking. After all the ironing and pinning it took me nearly an hour to sew the whole thing in the machine, inching along to keep my lines straight and remove all those pins, so I don't even want to think about how long it would have taken me to handsew it, lol.

I did french seams on all the seams, since they may be seen from the outside, and turned the hem under twice at about the same width for a nice crisp matching look. The resulting hooded thing is soft and cozy and moderately warm, and can be worn a bunch of different ways, which is fun.

With the hood down and the wrap bits left to hang straight down, it's got nearly Jedi robe vibes:

One of the wraps tossed over the shoulder creates nice asymmetry:

But with both of the wraps up on the shoulder and the hood up, it's got a different feel entirely:

The fabric is a brushed cotton herringbone that grips itself reasonably well, so once the wraps are tossed over the shoulders they stay put pretty well. From the side view you can see how it just drapes nicely down the back:

And when they're tossed over the shoulders like that, the finished ends are similar in length to the center back point:

With the wraps unfolded and left long in the front, the back panel is much more visible. There's no shoulder seam at all -- the wraps just continue up over the shoulder and meet at a 45 degree angle in the back:

I was careful when I cut out the pieces and when I pinned both parts of the french seam, so that I could line up the herringbone weave neatly and get these cool chevrons at the center back:

The length in the back is enough for it to feel a bit like a cape, but not in a huge dramatic way or anything -- and Disney generally frowns on large capes and robes for Batuu Bounding, from what I've heard. But with this length I feel like my back and shoulders are covered, but the longest bit of the center back isn't so long that I actually sit on it. I wore it out of the house this weekend and was comfortable both wearing it in the car and walking around an outdoor flea market.

I have about seven yards left of this fabric, so at some point here I'm going to make a Norse-inspired apron dress out of the rest of it, to go over the fleece dress seen in the photos, which I sewed last month, and to go over lighter underdresses in the spring, and possibly on its own in the summer. I like the idea of this hood matching that apron dress, and I did draw some inspiration for Norse/viking hoods with pointed capelets in front and back, too. Not at all historically accurate, but historically-inspired, like the fleece dress.

But really my brain is all about Star Wars right now, and the Batuu Bounding for our trip to Disneyland coming up in about six weeks. The hooded wrap has a very different vibe with big boots and leather-look leggings and a fitted vest and various Star Wars-y accessories. My nb sibling described this hooded thing as 'what Luke Skywalker would wear if he was a crow witch' -- and as an irl crow witch and a non-affiliated gray Force user in my silly Star Wars OC building, I can certainly live with that, lol.

I have a few detail things for my Batuu Bounding outfit that I still want to work on, but generally I'm really happy with how it's coming together. Next up, I'm going to switch gears and work on some details to spruce up Jack's jacket for our outing, now that we've got the base-layer pieces for him figured out too. Pictures of that (and my outfit) as they start to come together.

Six weeks isn't a ton of time to get costuming pieces done in, especially without pushing myself too hard, but I also feel like both of our outfits are good to go the way they are right now. It's just, they could be cooler looking with a little more time and effort. And hey, I'm having fun with the process and it's keeping me from vibrating in place and rewatching every Star Wars movie and tv show over and over again while I count down to my birthday, lol.

We can plot the cause of the deaths, it can be old curse, demons, creature from folklore, werewolf, cult, serial killer etc. My oc is a witch who is just discovering her abilities, who knows maybe your oc is too! (or a diffrent supernatural creature).

OMG OMG OMG I LOVE THIS QUESTION SM TY ANON *insert that one Lola Tung meme on TikTok here* I'm gonna give some extra kinda vague outline of a backstory to try and answer this question cuz I wanna make the most of this ask

Okay so in my brain Lyra and Trystan met in Book 1 because she's a Historian and crossed paths with Sonja. During the B1 investigation, they grew closer in that book (and in Book 2). Basically, instead of two main characters in my lil CoP universe, I made three main characters by splitting the original CoP MC into two different people: one who is a detective and one who has Trystan as her LI. Why did I give myself more work and create an unnecessary crossover? Short answer: my brain is weird and it would take years to barely scratch the surface of my paras. But one reason is I don't want to make a whole backstory only for that MC and the time I took to develop that MC to be rendered "useless" when the book is over or when I lose inspiration writing about them. So by making them MCs in some books and OCs in others, I get the most out of the time and backstory I used for an MC. Hope that made sense lol

As for your question, Trystan is Lyra's final LI so they end up getting engaged/married while Nayeli heads back to the US (the three are very close though).

As their relationship develops, Lyra would feel comfortable revealing that she is Half-Fae (and in my headcanon, half-witch). She would probably stress about this for a while before Trystan is like "??" and she's like "I want to be with you but I also have a duty to Lamrian" and he understands the whole "duty to the country thing" so he takes Lyra's invitation to visit Lamrian/Lady Thalissa/The NB Crew and he's like "Yeah, I wouldn't wanna leave here either."

Don't ask the logistics of this but basically, she still becomes Queen of Drakovia (may change based on B2's conclusion) and also governs the Fae realm. In my headcanon, they have twin daughters (again, this may change because I do like the idea of them being a childfree couple just vibing with pet dogs) at some point so one becomes the heir to Drakovia and one becomes the heir to Lamrian and it all works out. I have a draft of this fic somewhere so I'll try and find it if anyone's interested!

aww well, firstly thank you for keeping up with them bc i know it’s a lot and it probably seems like i’m just pulling ideas out of a hat at this point 😭 however i will offer you some insight to my madness:

tl;dr i’m an idea hoarder

planned however isn’t like always the case with all my stories. i generally separate my ideas into 3 camps:

stories where i have the characters + plot thought out or planned out (most developed and ones i usually write for and ramble about)

stories where i have a half baked idea—so it’s usually either a bare bones plot, bare bones characters, or a little bit of both

stories that are mostly vibes. even if i have certain aspects thought out there’s like entirely too many holes to make anything coherent & i need to think on them more lol.

NAD (one day this will get a good title) — what do a forcibly turned psychic nurse (nyseah), a college student who works as a secretary of a large conglomerate (alona), and a jaded detective investigating the murder of a up and coming pop singer have in common (donte)? more than you’d think lmao. these three intersecting storylines take center stage in the corrupt city of new mananza, leading to the exposure of a horrific plot that’s been in motion for near as long as the city’s been around.

CELESTIAL WEDDINGS — dagmar of dattenmaow from a young age is one of the eight hopefuls chosen to have a shot at becoming the next celestial ruler, as the previous one, rava, died extremely prematurely. in order to have a chance, he and the other hopefuls must travel to each of the eight spheres (or lands) to woo a member of the royal family for their hand in marriage, discovering what lead to rava’s death along the way. this is a poly story so dag ends up with 8 partners & everyone is nb with rotating pronouns so it’s fun :)

PURPLE HAZE (including the sequel blue jeans) — calvin and jake have been best friends since they were 5, next door neighbors always attached at the hip. at the end of their hs years everything that they had going for them suddenly comes crashing down, between jake’s suicide attempt and calvin’s long time gf hailey breaking up with him suddenly and without warning. 2 years later the two of them are on complete opposite sides of the world trying to pick up the pieces and get out of these dark spots. purple haze is a super personal story to me cuz it does take some direct inspo from my life and i’ve had cal & jake as ocs since i was 8 lmaooo. the sequel blue jeans follows their younger sisters; the twins penny and jenny (cal’s sisters) and katia (jake’s sister) and how they slowly enter adulthood. there’s a bit more emphasis on penny and katia bc the two of them have some romance to sort out, meanwhile jenny is the most well adjusted of all of them 💀

AZAB AND THE HERO’S SHADE — this is a story en progress but tldr i have a self insert oc for legend of zelda (and a side blog for it here: @breath-of-reincarnation ) however i thought it’d be cool to make an original story with some of the concepts. i haven’t gotten too far into worldbuilding but the chosen one character is azab, his love interest/the stand in for my oc is jas & zelda is princess narindi

SHROUDED IN DARKNESS— alessandra of the kingdom of darkness has always felt as though she’s been denied her people’s birthright; the ritual blinding of oneself under the light of the moon (their goddess), this is bc of a vision her mother saw when she had her. alessi doesn’t understand why she must stay sighted until she is proposed to by their sworn enemies the empire of light to end their endless war through political marriage. it seems unfair all things considered, as the empire of light has been carrying on a genocidal crusade against the kingdom of darkness for as long as anyone can remember. but it is with this proposal that alessandra realizes her purpose: she must keep her sight until she brings the empire of light to its knees by killing the entire royal family. this is very much a vengeance story and touches on a lot of dark themes and it’s pretty gory but i’m excited to write it one day

NOBLE — a heavy scifi story this is. noh bell wakes up adrift in space, with no knowledge of himself (apart from his name) and where he is. he’s found and taken in where his name suddenly flashes across a news reel as being a wanted fugitive but he can’t remember why. so he has to figure out why he’s wanted, who he is, and how to stay alive. while i don’t know everything 100% i do know that noh was a former member of the space governments police special ops super soldier program thing called the JACK&JILL project, where basically super soldiers are taken as babies, enhanced, and then assigned in groups of two to deal with shit. jacks are the brains of the operation and jills are the brawn. noh is also mute (from these experiments) & he uses sign language :)

GOD EATER — this story is mostly vibes but from what i’m understanding basically the life force of the cyber world that exists has been stolen and heaven has to descend into the underbelly to catch the culprit who stole it. in their descent, they become nevaeh and among the many cast of divine concepts and characters they meet, they find an ally in thei, the god eater, the last in a race of terrifying beings who can literally snuff out the light of gods (by eating them LMAO). this confirms the suspicion that a god is responsible for the theft of “the sun” (which is what ig we’re calling it) and so nevaeh, their guardian little bear, thei, and thei’s keeper taj along with others possibly set off to do the thing. cuz basically if the sun isn’t returned the whole world will collapse into a singularity or black hole LMAOOOO

TRAIN MASTER CHIDORI — vibes for my boy chidori!! still trying to work out the actual plot and happenings but it’s cyberpunk and fun pfff

THE VIRGIN OF MOUNT HEREDOSA — nyoka has been a ward of “the temple” (can u tell i’m great with names 🙄 this will get a better name eventually) since they were young, with the express purpose of one day fulfilling their duty of becoming a sacrifice to the gods. but nyoka REALLY does not want any part of that shit. after trying to sneak out for the millionth time, nyoka is pulled before the council of elders and is told they are next in line to be sacrificed. the only way nyoka can void this situation is if they lose their virginity basically lmao. so they start on a quest to do that & end up meeting an outcasted god who offers some “help” ahem. this story is gonna be pretty explicit and monster fucking is gonna happen tm.

THE WHITE SHIRTS — a couple of decades removed from ww3, twins prosper and jane live out their day to day lives in a small town. their life is disrupted when out of the blue men in convertibles wearing white button up shirts and black shades show up and start slaughtering people—but prop and jane are able to escape. being hunted by the white shirts (since that’s what they start calling them) leads the two of them to meeting a slightly older teen, marin, who has had a run in with these white shirts before and is making his way to the east coast. there are rumors that there’s a boat there that can take you away from the ruins of america and obvs away from the white shirts. while jane is more trusting, prop is wary of this stranger suddenly helping them but he has no choice. so the three of them start heading east and yknow. fight to survive all that.

BOYS UNDER FLOWERS — this is based off of the k drama boys over flowers bc i HATE IT. i don’t have ocs yet but basically instead of the actual storyline when that rich guy starts being shitty towards the mc, they’re just gonna plot to kill him lmaoooo

MARVIN & LINDA (or the spy story) — marvin and linda (code names obvs) are two secret agents who have just completed a job together and are waiting for extraction. they however get blindsided by a notice from marvin’s company that they won’t be extracted for two months and now they’re suddenly stuck in this hotel room together until then. it’s less about them being spies and more about two private people opening up to each other A LOT due to the close proximity with a bittersweet ending lol.

SACRIFICE — mostly just vibes. i know edgar and naja are step siblings and i think they’re on the run from a cult???? but what else is going on i have no clue lmaooo

and this doesn’t include all the ocs that i have kind of… lounging about with no real purpose yet, or any of the stories i have with my partner either lol
