welp i did not win homecoming queen but the person who did was in band, which the band is always huge so they get a lottttt of votes, and that person wasn’t only in band but a lot of other clubs, well-liked by a lot of people! I’d say just being kind and talking to a majority of people, don’t just stick to one group of people, mingle and make all sorts of friends!!

beta club is more popular i think, my school didn’t have a key club until i was in my junior year, i became the President and was super active, we made a care closet for our school in key club, full of stuff that students may need! they also took us off campus a lot to meet with adult key club society/members! but it was still pretty new so!

In Talented Art I made artwork that would be put into competitions or galleries as well as decorating the gym for the Homecoming Dance and Prom! Making backdrops for pictures taken on that day, a lot of creative stuff! We got to get out of class if we finished work early to go into the art class/room and work on projects 😌

Alpheratz: Hugging is probably not the best way to cheer someone, who just came from a relationship. But as someone who does not talk a lot, he does not know how else to handle it. He tries to not even say things like: "You didn't deserve to be treated like that", because he feels like he does not know anything about your relationship. What he will do is to surprise you with is him hanging out with you, doing activities you usually like to make you cheer up again. He will invite at least one other close friend.

Though he will ask you to not depend on them. What has been broken often cannot be repaired, no matter how desperate one may try. He will try to remind you to drink and eat enough, or motivate you to activities that may be hard to do in this time.

I have always thought of Katy Perry when the line 'Ask me why so many fade, but I'm still here' comes up in karma, and the fact that mrs perry was in the audience for that is sending me to the stratosphere while also making me seatgeek in my seat. The problem here is that other characters also call El ''Eleven'', it is not exactly portrayed as something that is negative, you know? I mean, if I were the Duffers, I'd just make the characters stop calling her 'Eleven' completely after S1. But they use it quite often, so I do not think it is portrayed as something inherently bad. I am all for criticizing the characters and how some of their situations came off as (like Mike's words triggering El's memories of Brenner and Brenner's words was definitely intention and was meant to be taken negatively, ofc), but El being called 'Eleven' by Mike or others is.. not really that, imho.

Homecoming court is kinda like a popular contest honestly! It depends on the class size, and how many people want to participate! The girls and guys are then paired up, usually according to height since they have to do a dance together (at least at my school we had to!) everyone campaigns to win Homecoming Queen and King! You get on the Homecoming Court due to I believe teachers, they pick students who are all-around good/honors/funny/atheletic/volunteering. Then everyoneeee in the school or everyone who shows up to the Homecoming Dance, vote for King and Queen! The pairs all do a bunch of stuff together during Homecoming Week! It’s a bunch of fun, I remember making signs, doing fun dances, a scavenger hunt, dressing up!

I’m so happy that helped!! I say try to join and do a bunch of stuff!! You make lots of friends that way and it puts yourself out there to learn and grow! It also builds your resume for when you apply to scholarships and going to college :D

Do it!!! Do everything!!!! I did softball, volleyball, beta club, key club, (which is like beta club basically), quiz bowl, talented art (also called gifted) Homecoming Court, Mentorship (basically being a senior mentor for incoming freshman) and this was just at a small school! If you are going to a bigger school they will definitely have so many more clubs and options!!!
