Royal AU (Prince! Hirano x Knight! Kagiura)

It was his family's tradition that pushed Kagiura Akira toward the path of becoming a knight. His brother is a trainer for the new batch of knights in training, his father served as a general, and his grandparent was the personal knight of the late king. Thankfully, Kagiura embraced being a knight and enjoyed the training at a young age.

Hirano takes a lot of pride in being a prince, he wants to do his best the moment he steps as a king and supports his country and people to grow.

It took years for Kagi to realize he is in love with Hirano. Once he noticed his own feelings, he realized that maybe he loved him since the moment he saw his smile.

Kagi's family owns a farm, but his little sisters make the best paper in town. He "gifts" that paper to Niibashi—the royal artist— in exchange for an art piece of the prince, most of the time they are sketches, but if Niibashi feels in a good mood he will make a full tiny paint for him.

Kagi doesn't know how to read or write so Hirano reads him his favorite books because Kagi begs him to, knowing the prince loves the idea of sharing his passions with someone. After a while, Kagi starts learning how to read by memorizing some words, and after his prince compliments him he asks him to teach him to read more—only because he wants more compliments from his prince—.

Kagi was the strongest from his batch when he joined and became popular, so popular that older knights started sparring with him. The curious prince always watches Kagiura's amazing sparring sessions from his studio, even before they were friends.

Kagi becomes obsessed with his prince's cologne, after a particularly long mission he had. The prince sent letters scented with his cologne.

Kagi started sending scented letters and his prince asked him to stop on the next letter—he realized himself since Kagiura never told him about him scenting the letters—, telling him how he liked the smell of his old letters. The knight thought the prince disliked the cologne... but the prince likes the knight's smell as well.

Niibashi teaches Kagi how to dance so he can impress the prince during a ball... only for Kagi to be a naturally good dancer.

When Hirano goes to the palace library often, since the library is open to anyone he met the local baker Sasaki... he caught him reading gay porn and was surprised when he didn't even try to deny it. Later on, he admitted he was reading it because he caught the cute librarian reading it, Hirano asked where those books were so he could tell his knight to avoid that section(since the knight usually chose books with pretty covers so they could practice).

After meeting the Prince, Kagiura's sole mission became to be strong enough to stay next to the prince's side for the rest of his life. Admitting it in front of the Prince after they were fighting about a line of a book.

Hirano: "But it's so sad! It doesn't make sense! why would he wish to die alone?! How can you get it?!"

Kagiura: "Dying alone IS sad my prince! What the sir is talking about is how he would prefer to die alone than not to be by the deathbed of his loved ones! that's what he means by 'I wish nothing more than for the seats of my funeral to be empty'!"

Hirano: "But then who would hold him on his deathbed?! Wouldn't you feel alone if you had no one's hand to hold?"

Kagiura: "Maybe, but I would be content. I want to promise my mother that I will live happily, thank my dad and brother for what they taught me; tell my older sister not to worry, that I will protect her daughter; tell my little sisters the things I never told them; I want to hold YOUR hand, and make you feel protected until your end!"

Hirano: "...I swear I will live longer than you..."

Kagiura: "...! ...I can't wait to see if that's true."

Dragon AU headcanon and ideas (Dragon! Hirano x King! Kagiura)

Hirano can make his body parts as dragon-like as he wants, the ears, scales, tail, and horns are a personal preference but he always has a long tongue, long nails, and long hair. Both his nails and hair can be trimmed but they grow incredibly fast and will go back to extreme length if he turns dragon and goes back to being human.

They met because Hirano was stealing from his treasure room as a tiny lizard... he thought he was being sneaky but Kagi was actually stopping all his servants from interrupting him because it was so cute

Niibashi: "But sir! Those are the people's money too!"

Kagiura: "We will up the taxes if needed"

Niibashi: "Sir!"

Kagiura: "Don't worry... I will only up the taxes for the rich."

Hirano chirps when he is happy.

Hirano can change sizes, he can be a tiny lizard that fits in Kagi's palm with little wings, or a big dragon. This doesn't affect how his body works.

Hirano has fire breath and it makes his body really warm, Kagi loves holding him during winter but is insufferable during summer... Hirano will cuddle him nonetheless.

Hirano will randomly go to Kagi and settle down on his lap all cat-like. This is amazing when he is a tiny dragon but Kagi would like Hirano to care about how humans don't randomly sit on other human's lap and cling like a Koala. He cares so little that he genuinely doesn't realize he is in human form sometimes so he also:

gets into the bath with Kagi

is naked in front of Kagi

Sleeps with Kagi

Is fed by Kagi

Licks Kagi to show affection

Bites him jokingly

Hirano calls Kagi "King" or "My King" because Kagi has become part of his treasures; while Kagi calls him "Majesty", "your Majesty" or his name (in private) because he would never dare to call a mighty dragon "his". Hirano also calls him that to make Kagi look more powerful in front of him people, he likes Kagi to be seen as "The king who owns a dragon" although Kagi very much dislikes people to think he "owns" Hirano—he likes that Hirano likes it tho—. More than once Hirano went into his dragon form because someone was being disrespectful, not really to threaten them but to show how powerful Kagi "supposedly" is. Because Kagi would ask him to stop and Hirano would, it makes him look like he tamed the dragon.

After Hirano started to act as the "King's pet" other royals wanted to buy his scales for jewelry, only for them to be banned from Kagi's kingdom.

If you make Hirano blush hard enough, actual steam will come out of his mouth.

If he sneezes, fire will come out his nose, this is cute by itself but is even cuter in his tiny lizard form.

Kagi teaches Hirano what "kisses" are. They were in Kagiura's studio and Hirano randomly sat on his lap, Kagiura was so tired he started caressing Hirano's back without realizing it, he noticed when Hirano started chirping softly, and in a moment of delusion, he went and kissed him on the shoulder... Hirano stood still for a second and then he rested his head on Kagi's shoulder and Kagi took it as a sign to keep giving him kisses, making Hirano chirp louder. Kagi stopped when his shoulder started to ache because it was getting burned by Hirano's sighs.

Hirano—as a "reptile"— has breeding seasons; he used to become territorial and aggressive of Kagiura's treasures and stayed in the treasure room. But after the kisses session they had he became clingy and kinda territorial; but instead of being territorial of the riches that Kagi has, he is territorial of Kagi himself not letting him leave the room. During the first week, Kagi did not move from his bed because Hirano didn't let him. The moment Kagi tried to leave Hirano turned into a whole ass dragon (slightly smaller to fit the room), grabbed him, threw him on the bed ("gently"), and turned into a little lizard to lay on his chest.

There is a episode of justice league ultimate where Batman Wonder Woman and Green Lantern go 50 years into the future because a guy made a time traveling belt in his garage and tried to take something from the watchtower for his “collection”

Anyway I was just thinking about this episode in particular and how a time traveling villain vs Danny Fenton (because of course this is a dcxdp idea) where the villain keeps stopping and starting time and it doesn’t effect Danny at all and in frustration the villain asks “why isn’t this working on you!?”

And Danny, ever the harbinger of chaos shrugs and says, “nepotism, maybe?” And punches the guy in the jaw.

in 1 side we have Massive Angst of Talia and Bruce

on other side we have Okay normal life Clone Talia, Himbo Danny and Damian. Wait that is just Spy x family but Clone x Family.

No kidding. I can't say much for the angst between Talia and Bruce because I don't know their dynamic that well beyond that in one run they were supposedly in love with one another (and still are to some extent) but they're on such ideological opposites that it's never gonna work in the long term. And in another run Talia is just seducing Bruce (which iirc came about from post 9/11 hatred towards the middle east, and resulted in Talia's character being butchered by some asshole).

BUt on the other end we have Nasra, Danny, and Damian. Who I don't think ever really take on a traditional nuclear 'familial' dynamic since Danny and Damian agreed to both be brothers first and foremost - they're not seeking out a father-son relationship with each other, even with Danny occasionally being parental from time to time. And Nasra and Damian would still have an almost sibling-like rivalry towards each other as well (honestly I think it'd be very Tim and Damian-like), I think. That with a mix of "rivalry between little sibling and their older sibling's partner" too. Either way its def not mother-son like in the slightest, but still familial. Even if unorthodox

But either way they are still family with the additions of Sam and Tucker and Jazz! I like to imagine that Nasra and Damian both are actually pretty into art. Damian uses spray paints as his medium, however, and Nasra gets into charcoals and watercolors, and they compare different art mediums when they start tentatively getting along.

OH also unrelated but more on clone^2 but - danny in clone^2 like, killed like three guys when he was 17 because they attacked him and damian and nearly killed them both. Imagine being Bruce and finding that out

Hello!! Question about clone^2, what are the styles of Danny and Damian? Like day to day stuff for example. Does Danny buy Damian the traditional 8 yr old clothes (dinosaurs with sunglasses tees, stuff like that) or does Damian already have a style he likes? And Danny! I know that Sam gives Danny various punk hairstyles and that he prefers gender neutral stuff but outside of that what would Danny wear in general?

I LOVE GETTING ASKS NO WORRIES MY GUY. AS MY FAVORITE SAYING GOES 'THE QUICKEST WAY TO STARRY'S HEART IS THROUGH HER ASK BOX'.

And I love this question, this is a good one!! If damian's 8 then he's been around the fenton house for about a year or so. I can't see baby dames ever willingly wearing traditional child-like clothes, at least not in the beginning when he first arrives at the Fenton house. Which he'd be around 6-7.

Danny tells him (with the help of google translate) that he's going shopping to buy him new clothes sometime during Damian's early stay since the little man had been wearing the same clothes he arrived in for a while (which you can find here with the reblog of the colored version) and honestly he probably asks damian if he wants to come along to pick something out. he doesn't know the kid's style and it might be a bad idea because damian might make a run for it, but danny's caught him before at this point.

(plus he'll need help carrying bags - his hands are freshly injured and still smarting. they're not as bad as they will be in the future, but hand injuries hurt. consider it repayment for being the cause of it, damian)

And early Damian would choose clothes that remind him most of the league - so dark colors, more formal styles, think like how you'd imagine his original template to dress like, if you will. Danny is side-eyeing him in judgy bewilderment, but says nothing other than to complain about the price tag. Of which Damian has no idea what he's saying. He'd stick with those clothes until he has his little moment with Danny in the OPS Center where he finally tells him he's a clone (even though Danny already knows) and that he doesn't want to go back. After that he'd reluctantly and steadily start branching out.

So eight year old Damian, whose begun to chill out more and act more like a child his age would? I don't think he'd ever wear graphic t-shirts about kids shows, but I can see him wearing graphic tees of like, animal facts on it, animals, stars, etc etc, and then plain shirts in a variety of increasing color. I have this mental image that Danny buys Damian one of those joke shirts that says "bro I'm 8" / "this is what an awesome eight year old looks like" (with two thumbs pointing at itself) and Damian wears it to school a week later. Damian's variety of shirts increases the more comfortable he gets and the more he comes into his own identity.

Damian also, steadily, keeps stealing Danny's flannels even if they're almost comically large on him. They're comfy and he's embracing his role as baby brother (and also he really looks up to him because he understands, to an extent, of what danny's done for him). Danny and the Fentons start buying Damian his own after a while because, well, he can't keep taking Danny's.

And Danny! I'm so glad you mentioned Danny, my favorite GNC boy. I keep forgetting myself sometimes that I gave him long hair, even if it is my favorite thing about him. And honestly? Danny doesn't really do much with his hair if Sam isn't styling it. He usually lets it stay down on his head, and then pulls it back into a ponytail or a half-ponytail at school depending on what he's doing (gym vs a test).

He keeps it in a ponytail as phantom to keep it out of his face, and then when he's working on a Ghost Case he sometimes has it up in a (messy™) bun because the feeling of having his hair on his neck when its in a ponytail drives him nuts, especially when sleep deprived. Sam teaches him how to braid it back into a simple braid and its become a new fidget for him to braid his hair and then unbraid it. It's easier to keep off his face than a ponytail, so he sometimes braids it back when he's sneaking out as phantom. It happens more often once he gets skilled at it.

And danny's style! I know you probably only meant his hairstyle, but I also wanna talk about his aesthetic! He doesn't really put much into his appearance. Very teenager-y boy 'threw on the first thing i saw on a hanger/floor' type, but he kinda has a bit more of a casual, soft grungy-like look as an older teen. Just some hints of Sam's influence - and you know what, some of Tucker's as well because that's his best friend too.

(Off topic but 19yo Danny from my Childhood Friends Dead On Main au has a similar style that's a bit soft punk as well, and that is somewhat more intentional on CFAU Danny's part. Why make an au if I can't play dress up with my favorite character? :))

Mostly because I read a Spider-Man x DP fic that described Danny (from an outsider's pov) as looking kinda like a skater boy who listens to alt rock music and it's been my personal interpretation of him ever since. So he has band tees, flannels, graphic tees with jokes on them, shirts with astronomy facts on them, and idk if he'd ever buy ripped jeans but Sam has certainly bought him some and they fit so *shrugs* he wears them. And he has one or two of those denim jackets with the hoodie sewn inside it. And from Tucker he has a few turtlenecks because Tucker reads as a turtleneck-kinda guy, geek chic-ish.
