Crosscode is fun but exposes my failures as a non-gamer.
#also I have gripes with navigation#why quick menu has access to map but the main menu doesn't? why switching between area maps takes quite a long time when there's quests on#area borders and the teleporter is only on one side of it? (also a very barebones location layout would help with navigating their parkour#hell + loot hunt)(also it's hard to judge characters position when them slightly floating is fair game)#but besides that it makes it very clear that me eating shit when I didn't dodge on time or exploit enemy's weakness is fully my fault#and I do like exploring multi-layered multi-screen maps but it's hard to do it with purpose when you don't know your relative position nor#the overall layout#Also I thought Emilie was doing a bit with her heavily ornamental french but after meeting Schneider I feel like it's in earnest.#CrossCode#dumayu#вышедшее из под моего пера

I have a question! I'm looking for fanfiction where Hermione and Severus have to marry, this is after the war, and both work at Hogwarts. Their marriage isn't a secret and they both sort of have a sexless marriage until a redhead teacher joins the staff and starts flirting with Severus. Hermione winds up in the bedroom and overhears him defend their marriage to the other woman. Do you guys know that one, its AO3.

i really want to talk about how much i fucking hate the new trend of using projections for EVERY FUCKING SET PEICE in shows lately!!!
#if utilized sparingly (and well of course) it works awesome!#but its like every single time i see a new show the backgrounds are so totally projected and the set dressing is minimal and i HATE IT#i miss going in to see a show and the whole stage just feels immersive!#the introcate details! the multi-levels! having a whole new location just behind what you thought was the back!#i wish projected sets a very happy go away

I think I'm slowly starting to understand that me being constantly exhausted is just because I'm finally safe and my body is no longer running on adrenaline and cortisol all the time. I've been fighting against the exhaustion for over a year but I haven't actually allowed myself to rest without feeling guilty.
#personal#I need to learn how to relax and do one thing at a time and to not put myself in so many stressful situations#I'm allowing myself to sleep in#to read more#to start my day with something enjoyable like a walk or a nice long breakfast instead of a stressful to do list#I'm setting boundaries around being available to work on my days off#I'm taking days off of work#I'm allowing myself to just sit and be and read and have a drink at a cafe somewhere#without it being something rushed#I just need to.. REST this year#I've done the self care bit like the meditation and the yoga and the walks but it's always been something#and I've only relaxed while feeling guilty and multi tasking#I just need to really and truly relax; in a way where it's not a to do list#my favorite restaurant is closed on mondays#but they're located at a big lawn with chairs and benches#and I went there after work to just read my book for 2 hours#in the shadow and the breeze on a hot day#and I felt sad depressed but it was actually really nice#making some dinner now (easy dinner) and watching a tv show

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it is not normal to get so angry at being mildly inconvenienced at the store that you literally start to visibly shake.
It's also not normal to react to said mild inconvenience by throwing your items or money into the floor or at the cashier.

I am not the one who made it do that#I literally am just a cashier#and these people genuinely think I am personally marking things as in stock in our store on the website#rant
