Epilogue

Well... we're here. Roughly 2 1/2 years later and the biggest project I've ever worked on is done with. The entire time of working on this epilogue I was thinking "i don't feel that emotional about all this, so I probably won't feel that much when it ends either" but here I am tearing up while I write this. I know that sounds cliche to say but that's what I'm feeling right now.

I'm a woman of few words, so I always knew this end note would be brief. Thank you all for being here with me on this journey and inspiring me to stick through till the end. I'm so happy with what I made and I hope you all are too.

KOOPA DOODLESSS💫✨

💖Haii hello you beautiful people!! :D I’m still alive, I swear! Been working on a couple doodles and some WIP’s of some of our favorite gremlins lately🥹🗣️🗣️‼️‼️

📝Work has been keeping me really busy lately, so I try to fit in some time to draw when I can!!

🖍️I ordered some new coloring pencils, so I’m hoping that I can start coloring my Iggy page lineart sometime this weekend after they arrive!! :D

📱I recently got an ipad and I am ENTIRELY new to the world of Procreate. All my life, I’ve only ever known and dealt with traditional art so I’m trying to get adjusted, been looking up tips and guides when I can so I can have a better understanding of how everything works! Started a quick sketch of ludwig in a silly ahh pose on there, might finish that one up after my Iggy page is complete ((shoutout my buddy @fridaverse for showing me how fun willem dafoe poses are to draw XD‼️‼️)) …. But once I get a good handle on Procreate, I should be able to post more doodles from there :D

Ludwig

Ludwig is usually calm and bashful, but easy to get upset. He hates being in large crowds, feeling everyone's emotions. He also hates being put on the spot, he doesn't like attention. His enemy is Prince Peasley of the Bean Bean Kingdom, also Dieter from BFF. He is the leader of the Koopalings, and also the smart and clever. He is also the best cook. The only time Ludwig gets angry is when someone hurts or bullies his younger siblings. (Even Koopa Kid and Bowser Jr.) He thinks Roy is the hardest to handle. Another problem is that everyone thinks he is trans at first.

Roy

Roy is probably the opposite of Ludwig. He is short-tempered and easy to anger. He loves to get into fights with his siblings and others, which is why when Ludwig is gone he can not take over. The Koopaling he fights the most with (No, Bowser Jr doesn't count) is with Iggy. Roy hates Beef (also from BFF) the most because he feels like he is being mocked or threatened. He does have a kind side though. He hangs out the most with either Ludwig or Wendy. He also gives good hugs (not as good as Morton). He is also not allowed to punch Larry, 'cause he's the youngest. He is physically the strongest.

Morton

Morton is the most easygoing of the Koopalings. He hardly ever gets angry, but he does get upset. He keeps it to himself though, to not make anyone else hurt or angry. He is the most comforting and gives the best hugs. Struggles talking sometimes, but other than that: pretty good. He tries to get along with Junior the most. So basically, Morton is most of the time happy.

Wendy

Wendy is also short-tempered, but not as much as Roy. She is the only girl Koopaling, so she tries not to act too girly. When Ludwig is unavailable, Wendy takes charge. Wendy looks up to her older brothers (or Iggy) when she gets upset. She also tries hard to be pretty. She and Ludwig work the hardest, because they want to receive praise. Roy is the one who makes her mad, teasing her to her limit. Wendy hardly spends time with Lemmy.

Iggy

Iggy is the crazy prankster of the family. He laughs a lot at the wrong times. Doesn't mean he has problems, though. He tends to get into moods sometimes, and it's usually his twin to comfort him. Iggy and Lemmy protect each other at all costs. Iggy has a pet named "Chompers" but Junior calls him "Chompy". Iggy is also really good with mechanics and science. He gets along the best with Lemmy and Larry. He is the second most mentally strong out of the Koopalings.

Lemmy

Lemmy is both easygoing and short-tempered. He is easygoing around his siblings (mostly Larry), but he gets angry when he is teased for being trans or being called short. (even though he can't help those things) He also gets short-tempered when he finds out one of his siblings is in danger, so he carries a big knife around with him at all times (actually so does Iggy, but he carries a pocketknife). Him and Larry have the strongest relationship out of the Koopalings, and Lemmy is also the most balanced. His life motto is: "Life is like a bouncy ball, whenever you face a problem, you always have to bounce back."

Larry

Larry is the youngest of the Koopalings, and unlike most, is very quiet. Speaks rarely, even though his siblings love his voice. He loves tennis almost more than anything, and he gets along with Lemmy the best. None of the Koopalings know that Larry is gay, and Larry doesn't really want them to know. He is the most mentally strong of the Koopalings, because he keeps most of his things or problems to himself.

Bowser Jr.

Bowser Jr is Bowser's only son who is not adopted. He hates the Koopalings. Iggy calls him "Junie" and Morton calls him "Small Bowser" but Bowser Jr just wants to be called "Junior". He is younger than Larry, and really short-tempered. He is like a mini-Roy. He is also excited to become king one day and take his dad's place. He also is really bad at math.

Topper

Topper is the oldest of the Broodals, which is not as hard as Ludwig's job. He hates loud noises and inappropriate things. He is also the most short-tempered. But Topper is actually a really nice guy, though.

Hariet

Hariet has a competitve spirit, and loves challenging Larry at tennis (Larry always wins and Hariet always becomes a sore-loser). She gets along well with Wendy, because they are both the only girl sibling. She also likes bombs. A lot.

Spewart

Spewart is the most quiet of the Broodal family, and is best buds with Ludwig. (I think he would get along with Lemmy since they are both trans, but they don't know that).

Rango

Rango is the youngest, and is gay. Like, really gay. He takes care of his pet Chain Chomp the most, and loves taking walks.

Koopa Kid

Koopa Kid is the middle child of the Koopalings. He is a pain in the ass, let's just say that right now. He bothers the Koopalings physically and mentally. He is really jealous of Junior becoming king one day. He hates Ludwig and Iggy the most, and also loves Dieter (actually). (You'll find out more later)

Kamek

Kamek is Bowser's assistant. He is in charge when Bowser is away, which is always a handful. Most of the time he doesn't even stay at the castle, he just runs (technically flies) off somewhere.

So, I finally finished the other 4 Koopalings! (Well, technically 3 + Junior, but I often call them 8 Koopalings to keep it easy)

But, I present to you

Roy Koopa

(His shoes/boots are a sort of work in progress, since I'm not sure if I want to keep em like this, but I couldn't find/think of anything better for him.)

Roy is the strong and tough one. I feel like he would love to show off his muscles, and what better way to do so by plainly displaying them? The camouflage printed pants fitted his brash and rough personality. We cannot forget that Roy is also amongst the coolest of the crew, for which I used the pattern on his shoes. Flames, yet in more of his pink and purple colouring scheme.

Wendy Koopa

Wendy is the fashionista, unfortunately I am not, so I hope I worked out well enough. (It's also partly why I had trouble coming up with clothing ideas for her).

First and foremost, I gave her hair. The games really did her dirty by not giving her any. I thought her bow would fit perfectly for her to use it to set her hair in a ponytail. Of course, we couldn't forget her bracelets, necklace and heels either. I eventually went with giving her a shirt with bell sleeves, and an airy skirt to go with it. (And a gold belt for over its overflow).

Morton Koopa

Morton is the only one in much darker colouring than his siblings, so my headcanon is that he has some form of Melanism (Albinism is the lack of melanin to give colours, turning it white, he has the opposite, as Melanism is the overabundance of this, turning it black). Due to having some form of Melanism, he has 'reverse' Vitiligo.

I remembered his as a boss of Dessert land, assigning his the colour yellow to work with. He also wears sandals because of this. But to also still keep with his original black white colour scheme (+ a little bit of brown), it's where the colouring of his shirt comes in.

(Bowser) Junior Koopa

The youngest and one of the most wild ones of the group. I feel like he would not have the patience to tie his shoes, so his dad got him velcro strap shoes. Of course his famous Bandana around his neck could not be forgotten. The rest of his clothes are inspired by what I often see small(er) kids wearing. Just some loose-ish clothes, of course in Juniors colours.

Like said in my other/first half of posting my human form for these kids, this is placed in order of oldest to youngest. It's just that Larry is supposed to be in between Morton and Junior. But due to already having been revealed in the other part, he isn't shown here.

Talking about the other part, I have decided to change Ludwig's eye colour. He has the same brown grayish eyes as Morton on that drawing, but I will be drawing him with Dark blue eyes from now on. (Due to my now headcanon, which is an extension of Mortons, is that Ludwig kinda has Melanism too. He was supposed to be Larry's blue, but due to this condition, he became a much darker shade of blue).
