Honestly between foreman spike in the Mario movie, the whole Kong scene with Diddy, Dixie, Swanky and Chunky in the background, and poochie being in Mario kart tour alongside a yoshis island stage, I really hope this means that more obscure bits of Mario lore are present in future games, movies, and tv shows.

Like imagine if they bring back the "chosen star children" plot from yoshis island into the second Mario movie,. they set up peach having a mysterious backstory and we already have 6/7 star children in the movie, the only one missing is Wario and Jack Black hinted at him being the villian of the second movie.

Speaking of Wario, imagine if they add some of the Wario Land/Ware charecters in the second movie. Imagine if the employees in the WarioWare series are Wario's cronies.

Imagine if we get more obscure charecters in the movies or games, like plum, fawful, koopa kid etc. I'd love if fawful becomes the main villian of the Mario movie at one point or gets to be in Mario kart.

Imagine a level In the next mainline Mario game where plum is the princess of the land and some other Camelot humans appear giving you quests. Imagine if they finally add wario ware charecters to Mario kart tour and make a new diamond city track (or remake the one from Mario kart GP)

And like imagine if we see the partners from Mario again. Or dimentio or count bleck/timpani. Or maybe even some Mario RPG stuff like geno. I'm sorry this is pure wishful thinking but I would love to see more obscure charecters in the Mario mythos to appear again.

So...... Koopa Kid, Baby Bowser, or Mini Bowser. How would one interpret this character within the Mario lore? I have a few hypotheses on how he fits into the wider Mario canon. The first one is Koopa Kid, is an older version of Baby Bowser. Aside from Koopa Kid also being called Baby Bowser at times, he could be an older version of Baby Bowser. Aside from the constant time traveling that occurs in these games, we do know characters do bring their younger selves into the present to participate in these events. My second possible explanation is that they are members of the specific species of Koopa Bowser that is a part of. We have seen more than one of these Koopas Kids before, and they all refer to Bowser things such as lord. So they could be another species of Koopa. The only problem with this is that they look pretty similar to Bowser, Bowser refers to them as if they are actually kids, and the fact they never show up again seems to be a problem for this. My next possible explanation is that they are all Fake Baby Bowsers excluding 1. This one goes alongside the Baby Bowser Hypothesis, and that is similar to how we had Fake Bowsers in Super Mario Bros. That all these extra Koopa Kids are just enemies that transformed into Baby Bowser with one original one present. Another explanation is the games take place in another world, maybe the Lost Levels world. The only problem is the fact Mario wins Mario Land in one of these parties. So my final possible and most plausible explanation is that it's just Bowser Jr. When returning to many of these party maps and games Bowser Jr has taken the role of Koopa Kid. One could see Koopa Kid having been Bowser Jr all along with the fact it was him being obscured by the game itself.

Koopa Kid: Losing too much blood? That's a shame.

Troopas: *struggling to breathe*

Junior: *picks up a rock*

Koopa Kid: Do you want me to end the misery for you?

Junior: *chucks the rock and sprints away*

Koopa Kid: *chases after him and pounces*

Koopa Kid: You forget I did Cross Country for a couple of years.

Junior: ...

Junior: Damn.

Koopa Kid: Heheh, stupid bodyguard got in the way. I was aiming for you.

Junior: W-why do you want to kill me? All I ever did was be a j-jerk to you but I didn't know it was that serious.

Koopa Kid: You don't deserve to be king.

Junior: Huh? What does that have to do with anything?

Koopa Kid: You're mean to your own half-siblings, the people that will work for you when you become king, so I'm keeping you out of it.

Junior: By killing me?! *panicking*

Koopa Kid: Duh. What else would I do?

Junior: I mean-

Koopa Kid: Also I want to become king.

Junior: Pfft! Even IF you killed me, you still wouldn't become king. Ludwig would.

Koopa Kid: Then I'll kill Ludwig. And everyone else in my way.

Junior: My dad would never crown a killer.

Koopa Kid: He'll never know I killed you.

Junior: Yeah he would.

Koopa Kid: How? You don't have witnesses or evidence.

Junior: Yeah I do.

Koopa Kid: *looks at Troopas* Pfft, yeah right. Your bodyguard friend is dying from blood loss.

Junior: *looks at Troopas* NOOOOOO!! Troopas get up!! I KNOW YOU CAN!!

Koopa Kid: He's going to be dead in a matter of minutes.

Junior: No, no, no, no. HELP!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! KAMEK!!! LUDWIG!!!!! EVEN IGGY!!!!!!!

Koopa Kid: *puts his nasty foot on Junior's mouth* Shut up, you brat!! Besides, they can't even hear you.

Junior: *sniffle* No...

...

I see a light in the mist.
