Kenobi refuses to listen to Cody’s input. Kenobi throws himself into battle with no regard for previously established battle plans. Kenobi uses the Force so recklessly and obviously that every undercover assignment is blown within the first few minutes. Kenobi is a hypocrite who berates Cody for sidestepping protocol, but flouts it himself at every opportunity.

Buck watches as Ana takes up more and more space in Eddie's and Christopher's lives and doesn't really know how to handle it. This also kind of makes me cry, but for very different reasons. To this day one of my absolute favourite fics in the 9-1-1 fandom.

Eddie Munson has always hated Mondays. He absolutely loathes them. Mondays mean getting up early for school, dealing with classes, schedules, and homework he always forgets to do over the weekend. Mondays are the worst day of the week.

CS Fic Rec Monday: "High Scores, Exes, and Neon Lights" by: @xarandomdreamx
I have been slacking and not having the chance to do Monday recs the way I would like, but this week I have some for you that I have recently enjoyed.
This first fic is a modern AU in three parts, featuring not only Emma and Killian, but a whole crew of their friends and loved ones - including a Liam who is alive and well. He and Killian own a bar where, when Emma and her friends turn up, things in the Jones brothers' lives are turned upside down in the very best of ways. I had the pleasure of beta-reading this as well as just enjoying it as a reader, and I loved seeing it as it grew and developed. It had moments of laughter, heartache, sweetness and feels - everything rolled into one. Don't miss it!!

I read this Way Back When, and I remember thinking I'd never seen such a convincing portrayal of MCU SteveTony and how a genuine relationship between the two of them could emerge while still accounting for (hold your puke) canon. Still rock-solid all the way through; knock against the fic at any point, and it will answer back with a fun two-part joke. Lush stuff.

Steve Rogers is a great physical therapist who works with sick kids. Tony Stark is a damaged biotech engineering genius who really wants to be one of the good guys.
I've recc'd this before so I won't blabber on but rest assured it is heartwrenchingly good.

I couldn't give less of a FUCK that this isn't technically finished. It is finished, to ME. The character-building in this story is just rich and fleshy and the stuff of true finesse. I read this every once in a while just to have the taste of masterful storytelling on my tongue. You should, too ;)

Raw. Punchy. Kind of makes me want to weep. Kind of makes me smile. Lotsa stuff that you can only write about when you've been down and which after reading will lift you right back up.

And I know Chrissy isn't a focus character for a lot of people, so I get it. But I'm enjoying writing it and getting in her head so much!

I want to call out some amazing people in the HTTYD fandom today. @sorushing thank you so much for all the events you've hosted this year. I can't wait to participate in another Hiccstrid week and hopefully next year your HTTYD week as well. You're doing such a great job! Keep up the great work.

Everybody go read It's Just a Spark and indulge on some of the cutest Hiccstrid fluff ever! And I heard somewhere along the grapevine that To Suffer a Witch might be close to an update, so why don't we give it some love and remind our beautiful author that we're still reading and thinking about it! Walls We Build recently concluded after 8 precious years with wholesome fluff and bittersweet tears in our part as it ended. But her work Drawn to You has yet to be concluded, alright we know she’ll never leave Hiccstrid as literal soulmates unfinished. You’re doing amazing. You’re so busy being a productive human being and yet you still find time to write for us!!! And Randi!!!! Happy to hear you are back with us after some rocky times. We are with you one hundred percent always although we will never forgive you for chapter 23 in Wingless and Warbound
