Deep Cave Monster: Meltuber
The inside of a Meltuber is a constantly shifting furnace. It spits globs of molten metal at the walls of caves to melt through the rock and uncover more metal. The shell fragments that cover its body are made of alloy that differs between individuals, formed by the metals it consumes.
