spoilers for pjo ep 8
so somethings that i really liked about this ep in no particular order are
luke ASKING percy to join him. in the books he goes straight to murder, i double checked, in the show he actually asks percy!!! and we get percy's moral questioning, debating between the major faults hes seen with the gods to the recent interaction he had with his dad. percy asks himself who he is loyal to, his father or luke. and if lukes shoes hadn't been so murderous, or if percy's father had been a little less kind percy would have taken luke's side. but he chose his father. and we got to actually see this split second decision and the events that led up to it.
annabeth SEEING the betrayal. this was HEART WRENCHING. this addition might take away from annabeths internal debate about her trust of luke in the next few seasons, because she gets to see in person luke's attempt to kill percy. she ONLY revealed herself to save percy, and while i really think annabeth would have attempted to bargain with luke first, the reveal shows how she was probably waiting with baited breath to see if luke was actually going to betray them. she was probably even convinced by luke's speech until he threatened percy.
percy apologizing for hurting luke, this was the most in character thing for tlt!percy. he was truly heart broken by lukes betrayal. he looked up to luke so much, and although he was willing to fight, he was NEVER trying to hurt. he cared so much. his apologies broke my heart. he was still so loyal to luke despite everything. lukes violence and rage felt all the more terrifying after percy apologized. the juxtaposition of percy apologizing and luke going for the kill made percy really feel like a 12 year old kid. i also, while ill miss the scorpion, really like the decision to have luke try to kill percy, as it seems more personal.
ANNABETH GIVING PERCY THE NECKLACE. no other comments. just cold hearted, prideful, annabeth from ep 1 becoming trusting, caring annabeth from ep 8 whose terrified to see her only real friend of her own making go.

My condolonces to the Kaishin fans, but Kaito and Shinichi being revealed to be cousins is so funny though, can you imagine if there was a family reunion??
Yusaku's like "hey Shinichi we're gonna meet my twin's family who I haven't seen in years and just found out about now" and when they show up, Kaito and Conan immediately lock eyes and do the spider-man pointing meme or something.
Shinichi/Conan will immediately guess that Kaito is his long-time arch rival and Kaito's internally screaming, just, "OH SHIT OH FUCK ARE YOU KIDDING ME WHAT THE HELL" and wonder why the world has it out for him.

THIS TOOK AGES BUT BOOM,,, By god Cyberpunk!Crow living in my mind always I needed to draw her fully!!

So, for the AU. Crow is a merc who has a side gig as a tattoo artist, she wasn't born in Night City but grew up a majority of her life there, becoming quite the streetkid. She'd probably join the WoD's after they grouped up, fitting herself into their group after working a few jobs with them! She sort of just, inserted herself into their conversations.
The reason she got a cybernetic arm in the first place was due to being caught in a rubble during a skirmish and her having to chop it off to escape, after that though she decided to cyber both her arms so she can have her chain whips easily equipped.
Right now she's saving up for a new pair of lungs, since hers are damaged from a toxic leak incident when she was a teen, making her unable to properly breathe without her mask specifically built to help her with that. If she can't wear it, she needs an inhaler quite a bit throughout the day. I forgot to draw it but she also does indeed have a robotic raven (she misses birds, a lot.). She also has a few tattoos on herself as well!
She's not great when it comes to hacking, but is really good at combat and causing distractions from enemies. Overall she's similiar to MGR!Crow, but has a side job and great group of friends LMAO
Also, her clothing is not set in stone since she would wear an array of clothing. Girl has too many jackets and pants.

I wrote a long ass post before but now I'm going to just throw this here.
John isn't the killer. Mikoto did it. John is covering up. Mikoto probably knows about the system. He sure as hell is a very good manipulator. Mikoto is the one asking us for innocent verdict at the end of MeMe.
Also neither Mikoto nor John will disappear at the end of T2 but John might go dormant and then shit will go down in T3 cause I NEED to see the real Mikoto❗❗

I'm curious to know your opinion of SPN 11X15, Beyond The Mat. Do you think it was a good episode? As a wrestling fan, do you think it accurately portrayed the sport? I thought it was an okay episode, but since I don't know a whole lot about wrestling, I was wondering what an actual fan thought about it.

Ok so it took me a few to remember that episode because that year was a bit of a blur for me.
Lot of health issues and stuff going on.
Anyway, I think it had the right feel for small/tame promotion wrestling.
And by tame no blood and guts lol. I mean when I was little I was left behind while my mom and brother went to the Corpus Christi Coliseum and watched The Iron Shiek nearly tear a man's ear off with the back of a hammer.
That was 80s/90s wrestling lol
To me it has the overall feel and excitement of what a fan experiences when they see their favorite wrestlers. I've yet to go to a live show but if I were to be there I'd pretty much act like how Sam and Dean were lol
Also interesting tidbit WWE Star The Miz is also in the episode. I'm not as big on WWE as I am on AEW wrestling but I know he's in this one lol
Also another tidbit The Elite(AEW group) has Carry On as their entrance music and I was totally hoping when they did shows in Austin that Jared or both Jared and Jensen would have been there since Kenny Omega is a Supernatural fan.
Edit: here's their entrance, there is pyro and flashing lights so heads up.

sometimes i think about the dwarves from twisted wonderland and think, yea actually, i can get why gran's annoyed all the time
imagine you were born shorter than others because of your race, and people infantilize and look down on you because of it, i'd be frustrated as well.
and like, imagine, you'll always be seen as this cute little child, even though you're already a sophomore, and you'll probably always be perceived as one, even when you're an adult, because at the end of the day, all you'll ever be is an extension of someone else's image (neige) and you're whole entire identity revolves around them.
idk i just find the dwarfs to be interesting. like whats their life like outside of neige? do they have hobbies of their own? i'm sure they do enjoy performing with him, but is that all there is to it?? like, what if one of them just goes "hey singing and dancing is fun and all but i wanna pursue a career in archaeology"
probably the other dwarves are bothered by this too, but they care about neige a lot, so they don't really say anything

Gatekeepy about any fandom?
I don't believe I'm particularly stingy about any fandom in particular, as I've grounded myself in the belief that every fandom has its... quirks.
But one fandom I find myself particularly irked by would be—predictably enough—the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance fandom. Not enough to the point of dejection, or to the point where I am compelled to leave it behind, moreso just nit-picky business. As most of my contempt comes from the "Max0r" side of the fanbase, with no disrespect to Max0r himself, a comedy genius. Particularly those who mischaracterize the main villains and water them down to a singular personality trait, painting them as impossibly, comically shallow. And I understand they are no more than simple one-off villains, but I digress.
(For example: the bastardization of Monsoon as not only a villain, but as a believable, realistic individual. The inability of people to separate the man from his fandom-coined phrase, "Memes, the DNA of the soul," for even five minutes, when he's got an entire Wikia page of information outside of what fans believe him to be. Not as an overgrown magnet of a zoomer, but as a hateful, spiteful killer and a man, whose childhood was tainted just as Raiden's was.)
And, don't get me wrong: the memes and jokes can be quite funny, but when it becomes the figurehead staple of his character to an entire fanbase, to the extent where it completely overshadows his true character—or, rather, how he was intended to be perceived within the game's own respective canon—that becomes a problem to me. As it not only defeats the purpose of his entire fight, his encounter with Raiden, and Raiden's own breaking point, but it warps what could have been the defining character—one of several—in MGR:R to a glaggling shitfest.
Anyways, not to get too far off topic, but to summarize; most of my contempt comes from those who disregard the pre-existing, deeper intent of some characters, all just to create or re-create some already-overused meme that was likely already executed way better by someone else with greater respect to the source material.

Hi sorry it's me again but I just wnated to let you know that I started reading your YBC comic and I absolutely LOVE it. I love how you expanded on the world and lore and the relationships between the Defenders while still keeping it within the tone and style of the original series. I think it's just brilliant and I can't wait to read more as you go!!
