One would have thought the baby was permanently attached to him. From the minute he got back from a mission to the minute he went to training he had ahold of her.
When you went back to work he kept her even more. The quiet bundle wrapped close to Crosshair frequently appeared at mission briefings, meeting up with his brothers.
Not that he didn’t let you hold her. No, there was plenty of times he would place her gently in your arms only to pull you both close to his side.
His entire attitude towards the little one was contrary to what others thought it would be. Which made even more sense to you.
The moment you told him you suspected you might be pregnant he became more protective. There was no denying the glint of joy in his eyes when it was confirmed.  Then his involvement with every step of the way from going to appointments to helping you through morning sickness.
He would talk to the baby, but not like most people. But as if they were another person in the room. There wasn’t the sweet talking involved most other people did.
“I know you are anxious to kick ass, but wait until your mother isn’t in the way,”
“I’m not in the way!”
“You’re in her way,”
“Your ba’vodu is a d’kuit”
“So are you,”
“You aren’t wrong,”
“Kriff, your mom is gorgeous. You have a tough act to follow,”
Then came the first time he held her. The only person he would hand the child to was you.  As far as he was concerned his brothers could see her from where they stood or wait until he was asleep.
Wrecker, unbothered by his brother’s preference, just leaned over the child in his arms and stroked a tiny cheek with his large finger and kissed the sleeping child’s forehead.
Wrecker and his partner had quickly adopted two tubies and a small cadet shortly after getting married. He was more than used to people becoming attached to babies.
Wrecker had given him a birikad, a long piece of cloth to strap the little princess to his body. And there she stayed much of the time.  You joked that you had carried her the first nine months and he was going to carry her the next nine.
When he was home she took her naps laying on his chest while he read.  He fed her and changed her diapers.
When you worked and he was on planet she went with him everywhere. And anyone that gave a questioning glance at the moody sniper having an infant strapped to him and a diaper bag slung on his back got a scathing look.
And it turns out you were wrong. It wasn’t the next nine months, it was the next several years. As soon as she outgrew the carrier and was big enough to do so, anytime he went anywhere she was perched on his shoulder.
Wrecker laughed loudly and called Crosshair’s shoulder “The Princess’s sniper perch,”
Tumblr media
The diaper bag is one of the black tactical ones🤣
Thanks for reading! ☀️Love & Wrecker Hugs☀️

Clone Wars AU where instead of chips, the clones are actually raised to be undercover as loyal soldiers knowing they'd betray the jedi ("traitors") on the order, and are all ready to complete their mission—
But uh. The jedi are really nice?? And kinda dumb??? And they reaaaally don't know how they survived this long when they are just so dumb and trusting and oh no they're attached.
There are many unfortunate realizations. The clones form a support group to rant about their stupid jetii because "—guys you don't understand he loses his lightsaber every two seconds and then smiles at me when I give it back and has decided since I have it so much I should know how to use it and this week he ordered chocolate for everyone what do I do—"
Bly be sitting in the corner, rocking because "Oh no she's hot"
Wolffe is sitting there holding in manly tears because Plo is a buir but he's a traitor but Plo is such a buir can he be my buir
Rex is like "listen I know Skywalker is supposed to be the one non-traitor of the bunch but like. He's crazy???? And the Commander is also crazy???? How am I supposed to keep up with them???? How much worse would they be without Kenobi????????? And I think Skywalker might actually murder us all if anyone touches the commander or Kenobi???????????"
And meanwhile Fox is all "I keep pulling this one weird jedi out of the dumpster and I can't get rid of him. How do I get rid of him, he's growing on me like mold and I hate it."
Meanwhile I cant decide if the Jedi know that somethings up with the clones and are keeping them close or if they just are genuinely like "man those guys are so great ❤️❤️❤️ I'd trust my life with them ❤️❤️❤️ if they don't tell me smth they def have a good reason ❤️❤️❤️"

Force Ghost Cody: Why are we looking for Initiate Grogu in a cave full of armored idiots?
Force Ghost Obi-Wan: Luke said he gave the baby back to his Buir, who promptly wandered off to find them in a cave. I think the armorer is force sensitive enough to see us so we could ask her to talk to Din about continuing his meditation training.
FG Cody: Yes, because an initiate without meditation might end up just as bad as Anakin.
FG Obi-Wan: Calm down, you know you love my idiot too.
FG Cody: Shut your whore mouth, General.
Armorer: 0.0??? Oh hello, are you two searching for the light sword??
FG Obi-Wan: Actually, we’re looking for initiate Grogu-
Armorer: Foundling Grogu.
FG Obi-Wan: …foundling Grogu-
Armorer: My bu’ad. Whom you cannot have.
FG Obi-Wan: …
FG Cody: *giggling*
FG Obi-Wan: Sorry, you misunderstand. My nephew, Luke Skywalker, did him a great disservice by letting him leave without promise of mental health help. I get that’s a big part of what you do for your covert, but the issue is, for his peace of mind, he needs regular meditation and reassurance in the force.
Armorer: And you are here to give that?
FG Obi-Wan: Sure. Little Grogu was always one of my favorite kiddos in the temple, from the moment I found his egg in that dumpster when I was thirteen.
FG Cody: I’m sorry you found that baby troll’s egg in a dumpster? What did it call to you in the force?
FG Obi-Wan: Well. I mean. I got tossed in the dumpster and then I saw the egg and grabbed it and felt a life force in it-
FG Cody: You we’re gonna eat the egg before you realized it was fertilized, weren’t you?
FG Obi-Wan: Obviously. I was a bit feral at that age and alone on a mission. It was massive!
Armorer: Hmmm. I like you two. You will join me and foundling Grogu in the mornings for meditation.
FG Obi-Wan: Awesome. Sorry for just intruding on your forge like this and all-
Armorer: No, it is an acceptable reason, to honor the foundlings.
FG Cody: I like you, you’re a bit more stable than the shiny silver one that doesn’t have much thought behind his eyes.
Armorer: Thank you. I have suffered to get him to think for most of his life now. I think this is as good as that will get.
FG Cody: God that’s such a mood. I could tell you stories about getting Ben and the 212th to do what they need to for basic survival. It’s wild.

I want more… clone hc pt. 2
why not more hc, I’m bored and wanna ramble… sorry if I repeated any.
99 is the best vode, he knows everything. If a brother is said, he’ll hug them, give words of encouragement and stuff and a mysteriously some illegal contraband that whatever the clone likes will randomly show up.
Shaak ti is buff and can hold her own if not demolish the Alphas on the training mats (The Rancor battalion found that out the hard way)
Jek, Rys and Thire became close after the mission with Yoda, Thire is still close with the commanders on Coruscant, but he’s even closer with the other two
While Hound may be a sergeant, he’s still an honorary commander member, he became the little brother of the group
…Thorn didn’t die on Scipio, nope, no way. Amidala saved him, always carrying a blaster or smth.
Dogma became really good at braiding hair because of all the time he braided Tups hair, so after Umbara when he definitely goes to Coruscant, Amidala finds out and sometimes ask him to do her hair.
Colt may essentially be Buir of Kamino, but all the alphas (especially 17) out Buir him, and it can be very comedic how a big burly alpha is hauling a ARC commander just to force them to sleep.
Fox absolutely denies or threaten to black mail shebse squad if they bring up the fact Fox was the first to fold and call Alpha-17 buir.
Colt and Wolffe have regular holo-calls just to shit talk Ventress.
Rex got adopted into Shebse squad after he bit Cody (Wolffe was proud)
When Kix is on shift in medbay, most of the time Jesse is there with him, he doesn’t have to be their but he’s a good batch mate.
Each shebse squad member have a quirk in fighting droids: Cody punches and spin kicks them, Wolffe bits them, Rex throws his blasters at them if they run out of ammo, Fox for some reason carry’s a high voltage taser, Bly drop kicks them, and Ponds throws rocks at them to catch them off guard
On multiple occasions animals like Loth cats and Tookas have been snuck on board the venators and multiple times have had to been taken off board
Fives has a girly scream, Torrent found out after he was caught singing in the barracks
Comet (and Plo Buir) can convice Wolffe to take care of himself (little brother privileges), unlike Boost, Warthog, and Sinker who have to sedate him of physically haul him away from the bridge
MEDICS GIVE STICKERS, if a your a good patient, you get a sticker. So there is a lot of vode with stickers inside or outside there armor
Colt keeps himself loaded with weapons, many different types of blasters, check. Lots of vibroblades and vibroswords (that he stole from commando droids), check. It will take a solid 10 mins for him to de-weapon himself
after Khorm, Plo threatened Captain Ozzel…. It was terrifying, Kit Fisto was both shocked and absolutely scared of getting on Plo Koons bad side.
Monnk collects different shells and rocks from the ocean floor and give them to different vode
kit fisto taught his battalion how to fish, just randomly, out of the blue he said they were going fishing and they went fishing
Ashoka definitely stole the ‘I’m no Jedi’ line from Rex.
everyone form the 212th and some 501st members were more traumatized by a bold Kenobi than the fact he faked his death to be a bounty hunter for a time period
kix has trouble staying warm after the cyro-freeze, like he’ll be bundled up in layers on tatooine
quinlan snuck into fox’s office once and was hit with a data pad on the head when he scared him and got himself a concussion, safe to say he doesn’t sneak up on fox anymore
clones have a sweet tooth
Once Hound got hurt while chasing a suspect and Grizzer went absolutely feral on the person who hurt him, it took Thorn and Stone just to separate him from the suspect, (fox and thire were just watching in shock as they helped hound)
padawans always use vents for travel (ex. Echo: where’s the commander. Fives casually: oh she’s in the vents. Echo: oh.. WHY IS SHE IN THE VENTS)
(Might be in the other one) The corrie guard have a bet everytime a battalion is on leave, the bet is: which members of what battalion will have the most in the drunk tank.
medics have to have a smex-ed meeting with every new shiny that boards
Bly (respectfully, cause he is a gentleman) asked Aayla to wear armor, the next day she was wearing Bly’s spare armor. Bly couldn’t stop blushing the whole day and it made his tattoos orange
When one or more of the Shebse squad is on leave, they bully fox into going to 79’s with them or to take care of himself. Safe to say, that whenever that happens the corrie guard can relax a bit
the most annoying patients for medics is any CO or jedis, all medics curse like sailors
when Kix was a medic shiny he hadn’t yet mastered the disapproval stare or the ‘shut the kark up and do what I say’ stare, so the vode listened to him just because it was so cute and funny, they quickly learned to stop thinking like that.
once after a battle Obi-Wan found Cody lying star fished on his back, he kicked a droid and broke his foot and collapsed once his foot gave out. Obi-wan just sighed, forced healed his foot a bit and carried him to the medics (Cody was turned into a sputtering and flustered mess)
Rex was already being corrupted by Skywalker’s tendencies when he was just a lieutenant in the 212th, Cody was horrified and wanted to bash his head into the wall.
Boil and Waxer secretly adopted Numa after Ryloth, each just co-parenting her
Kids on coruscant would sometimes come up to a guard member and hand them a paper of a drawing, ask for a hug, or just give them goodies. The guard now has a wall full of drawings given to them by kids in the barracks
the guard have stupid names for operations, it’s just a serious op about observing and trying to take down a drug ring (with vos’s help) and it has a name like “operation: too high to fly”
the cadets will hang off from any limb they can reach of their clone trainers and shaak ti
medics will lay on a cot with an injured clone on it to help them sleep, they’ll either be sleeping with them or doing data work
so yah… I’ll make more. Might make some of cod, fnaf , Dc, etc. as well and try to do art as well

Clan of Three Christmas Special 2023
Father Figure! Mandalorian/Din Djarin x Teen! Reader
Mouse Note: Happy holidays! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and like this little moment for Mando and Ginger and Grogu
“What are gifts traditional for apprentices?” asked Mando.
The Armorer turned from the Forge to face him. “Why do you ask?”
“It is the anniversary of when I found Grogu and (Y/N). I want to commemorate it,” said Mando simply.
The Armorer nodded approvingly. “You have a strong bond with your Clan. That is good.” She placed her hammer down and fully focused on Mando. “So, you wish for gifts.”
“Yes,” said Mando. “I’ve given Grogu chainmail to protect him, and (Y/N) has their remade Ushti dagger. I have not had a Clan of my own or apprentices before, so I don’t know what I should give them next.”
The Armorer considered carefully. “Grogu is still quite young for more armor. Perhaps a game for him.”
Mando nodded. “He would enjoy that.” He paused. “Grogu, uh, likes the silver topper of one of the levers from my old ship. It’s a simple sphere, but he’d like that.”
The Armorer nodded. “Very well. And for (Y/N)?”
“They have a blaster and dagger, and I don’t feel comfortable arming them more,” said Mando.
“Their tendency to run into danger worries you,” said the Armorer in amusement.
            Mando sighed. “Yes.”
“Then how about something to protect them?” suggested the Armorer. “A piece of armor would guard against some injuries.” She looked at the Mythosaur emblem on the wall. It reminded her that Mandalore the Great had chosen (Y/N) to guide. That was significant. “And it is time for them to start obtaining armor. They have more than earned their first piece.”
Mando brightened but kept calm. “Yes. That would be good. I’d enjoy the honor of giving (Y/N) their first bit of Mandalorian armor.”
The Armorer turned back to her tools. “What piece shall I craft?”
“A gauntlet for their wrist or forearm,” said Mando. “To protect their dominant arm while they fight.”
The Armorer nodded in approval. “This is the Way.”
“This is the Way,” said Mando.
l
“You’re supposed to throw it back to me, Grogu,” said (Y/N), hands on their hips as they looked at their brother.
Grogu babbled happily, still levitating the stone in front of him. (Y/N) rolled their eyes, lifted a hand, and pulled the stone to them. Grogu squawked indignantly.
“Relax, I’m going to toss it right back,” said (Y/N), flicking their ring and letting the rock float back to Grogu, who smiled widely upon getting to levitate it again. (Y/N) grinned but rolled their eyes. “I need practice, too.”
“You’re supposed to be resting after our last mission,” said Mando, walking up behind them and crossing his arms.
Grogu let the rock drop, and (Y/N) turned around without any embarrassment or guilt.
            They shrugged. “I feel fine.”
“The last time you said that, you slept for an entire day when I finally got you to rest,” said Mando.
“That was one time, Buir,” said (Y/N).
“Ad’ika, we both know it was more than that,” said Mando.
“Okay, fine, maybe it was,” said (Y/N). “Sorry.”
“You’re not, but I’m going to accept your apology because I’m going to make you rest,” said Mando.
“Whatever you say,” said (Y/N). They noticed the little parcels he was carrying. “What’re those?”
Mando suddenly shifted, getting shyer. He still wasn’t used to being so soft, even if it was with his kids. And he wanted to do this right since it was an important moment.
“They’re gifts. For you and Grogu,” said Mando. “It’s the day that I found you two first.”
Grogu and (Y/N) were both silent.
            “Is this alright?” asked Mando.
“You actually…You remember those things?” said (Y/N).
“Of course. You’re the most important parts of my life,” said Mando.
(Y/N) moved forward and hugged him tightly, and Grogu chirped and jumped up to hug him. Mando was surprised and balanced the presents before hugging them back.
“Thank you,” said (Y/N), and Grogu babbled in agreement.
“You haven’t even seen what I got you,” said Mando.
“Yeah, but you care about that. What you got us doesn’t matter,” said (Y/N).
Mando smiled beneath his helmet. “Thank you, Ad’ika.”
(Y/N) shrugged. “Doesn’t mean I don’t still want the gift, though.”
“I know,” said Mando with a light laugh. He held up the presents. “This one is yours, and this one is Grogu’s.”
Before Mando could even hand them over, the parcels levitated and flew to their recipients as the force moved for them. Grogu eagerly opened his first and babbled with a grin as he held up the silver ball.
(Y/N) smiled. “He’ll be levitating and throwing that around the whole ship.”
Mando sighed. “I know, but it makes him happy.”
(Y/N) opened theirs then, and their eyes widened as they lifted up the beskar gauntlet. “Is this Mandalorian armor?”
“You’re a Mandalorian,” said Mando simply. “And you’ve risked your life for us so many times that you have earned it, Ad’ika.”
(Y/N) grinned, closed the gauntlet around their forearm, and hugged Mando again. “Thank you so much, Buir.” They were a Mandalorian. More than that though, they were Mando’s child. And that’s what meant the most.
“Of course, Ad’ika,” said Mando, holding them close. He had his kids. That was all he needed.

Mando’a
A sweet Mandalorian story, with a sweet idiot Din and his son
Tumblr media
The Mandalorian, Din Djarin, was a man of honour.
No, more than that, he was a good man.
Y/N had known it almost immediately, seeing him with the child. He held him like a father held his son, and at first she thought they were related by blood, and that the bounty hunter was green under his helmet.
In the end, Grogu was indeed his son, but adopted, and the Mandalorian was ready to sacrifice everything for him. Except maybe his job, because he needed money to buy food for the kid.
So he had to keep hunting down dangerous individuals, and he didn't like the idea of leaving the child alone, nor the idea of taking him with him.
So that was how he hired Y/N, after saving her from a drunken man in a cantina, and seeing that she and Grogu seemed to be getting along well.
"I will pay you, of course." he promised.
"If I can sleep and eat, and you're not hurting me, then taking care of this adorable baby is enough for me. You helped me after all, it's normal that I'm doing you a favour."
           "I insist."
Din didn't insist long, perhaps not to offend her, seeing that she wouldn't change her mind. Y/N really didn't mind just following him and staying with Grogu. She had always dreamed of adventures.
Despite everything, the Mandalorian seemed to find it necessary to show her his gratitude as often as possible, offering her several gifts, such as new clothes, a weapon to defend herself when he was not around, then a chainmail in Beskar, like the one his son was wearing.
"I thought only Mandalorians were allowed to wear Beskar !" she said, wondering if this was a test.
"The Mandalorians and their clansmen. I... You... You are my cya... my burc'ya. You deserve to wear dignified armour, which will protect you."
"It's a real honour, Mando ! I'm happy to be part of your clan !"
           "Din. My name is Din."
After that, there were fewer gifts, but lots of lovely attentions. No doubt in Mandalorian custom, the leader had to make sure the other members of the clan were happy, healthy and safe.
As with Grogu, Din always made sure Y/N was okay. He always seemed nervous when he had to leave the ship, and he only relaxed when he came back and found them where he had left them, playing or sleeping.
Adoring his father as much as the Mandalorian adored him, Grogu threw himself into his arms every time he saw him.
"I'm glad to see you too, ad'ika. You were good ? You didn't do too much mischief ? You will always be nice to your buire, uh ?"
           "Pato !"
"Yes, that's good. I'll keep him, rest cyare."
           "But you just arrived, you..."
"No." Din said, putting a finger to her mouth. "I know the little one. My mission certainly wasn't as exhausting as him, get some sleep."
At first Y/N slept alone, or with Grogu. The Mandalorian had made a bed for her in a corner of the ship, her own space, so she could have some privacy.
Then she had had a nightmare and to reassure her, the three of them had slept together. Then there had been a problem with the temperature controller, and they had huddled together so they wouldn't freeze to death until they got to a planet to fix it. Of course, Y/N still got sick and Din took care of her until she was better.
After that, without them talking about it, they ended up always sharing the same bed.
Y/N had been travelling with him for several months when Din gave her the necklace that indicated they were from the same clan, before removing his helmet to show her his face.
She was pretty sure he had no right to do this, even with his clansmen.
"You are my cyare, and Grogu is my ad'ika. It is permitted."
           "Really ?"
"Of course. Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde."
Y/N smiled tenderly, nodding, which seemed to please him, and smiling as well, he leaned his forehead against hers.
That was the only small problem with Din.
He often spoke Mando'a, obviously without realizing it, and forgetting that Y/N didn't understand at all what he was saying. But she always tried to guess.
He was certainly polite. Kind. As always.
But nothing more.
His arms around her when he slept, his hand caressing her cheek when he had to leave, his smile when he looked at her, his forehead against hers, it meant nothing. Not what she would hope for, anyway.
When he was talking about her, Din was using a lot of words. At first it had been 'burc'ya', but soon it changed to 'cyare' or 'mesh'la'.
With Grogu, she became 'buire'.
When they met someone, she was 'riduur'.
Y/N dared not ask what that meant. Clan member, babysitter ?
She sometimes talked about it with the little one, who didn't really seem to be listening, or understanding, even if sometimes he would turn his little head towards her, and with his big eyes he seemed to say to her 'you are ridiculous, really ridiculous'.
It was Din who had explained that expression to him. Grogu often looked at him like that, with good reason. The child looked at his father like that when he was giving Y/N a nickname, and when he was offering her something, and when he was stammering, asking if he could hold her hand to not lose her in the crowd.
Grogu was still making that face when they arrived at the Armourer's. Din had found some Beskar and she was the only one who could make something useful out of it, for him or for other Mandalorians.
It was much harder than with Din to know what she was thinking behind her helmet, but she seemed happy to see the child, and surprised to see Y/N.
           "Your clan has grown ?"
           "Yes."
"Did you take your helmet off ?"
"Only in front of my ad'ika and my riduur."
"Married ? Congratulations. Come see me if she gets pregnant, I'll prepare presents for your children."
"We're not there yet, but thank you. I don't know if Grogu will be happy to have vodes or if he will try to eat them."
The little one then turned to Y/N, who had frozen and he stared at her, as if he wanted to say 'Finally. Finally my stupid father has put words to his behaviour and my oblivious mother will be able to understand that they are married. I'm tired and hungry now, feed me '.
"Uh..." she stammered as she approached the Mandalorians. "Married ?"
"You didn't respect the custom ? You didn't exchange your vows ?"
"I did !" Din replied, before sounded less sure. "Well, I said my vows. After courting her, showing her that I would be a good partner. She accepted them."
"Obviously she doesn't know what she accepted."
           "I... Cyare, you...  Haar'chak !"
He kicked a crate before leaving the forge, leaving the Armourer, Y/N and Grogu, who ran towards her, asking to be hug.
As if everything was perfectly normal, the other Mandalorian resumed her work in silence, finishing melting the Beskar, but as Y/N went to follow Din, she called out to her without looking.
"Leave him alone for a moment. He needs to understand his mistake, then he'll come back. He's not a coward or he wouldn't be a Mandalorian."
"He really thought we were married ?"
"Obviously. But if he wasn't clear, it's his fault. He won't blame you for not understanding, and for not wanting him."
           "... I didn't say I didn't want him."
"Ah. Then maybe you two should talk. Leave the child with me, I'll watch him."
Y/N didn't dare tell her that Grogu was very good at evading people if he felt like it, but she left him near the Armourer before going to find Din, who was sulking near a cliff. His helmet was at his feet and yet it was hard to know if he was happy to see her.
"...Trikayc, cyare. Sorry." he whispered. "I'm not good with words, I thought my intentions were clear. You seemed to appreciate my attentions. I shouldn't have assumed…You were just kind and polite. I'm sorry."
"Actually... I also thought you were just nice and polite. If you had translated some of the words... Or if you had kissed me."
           "Mesh'la... You mean..."
"Why didn't you ever kiss me, if we're married ?"
"What ? But I kiss you all the time !"
Approaching her to prove it to her before she could tell him that she would remember if he had ever kissed her, and if he had done it when she was sleeping it didn't count and would be very weird, Din leaned his forehead against hers, looking her straight in the eyes.
Then he didn't move, looking very serious.
           "…Yes ? I'm waiting ?" decided to say Y/N after a long minute.
           "It's a Mandalorian kiss."
"...Oh. Din, you're adorable. An adorable idiot."
Y/N kissed him then, not like a Mandalorian, and obviously it was the first time someone kissed the poor man, who jumped a little, before relaxing, melting a little when she put her hands on his cheek and neck.
"Kriff, if I had known, I would have done this a long time ago."
"In addition to the rest." Y/N sneered. "Even if it's a little hard in bed with..."
           "Pato !"
Unsurprisingly, they looked down to find Grogu standing between them, clutching his father's leg, demanding to be lifted.
Either he had escaped the Armourer's watch or she had let him go.
Despite his sigh, Y/N knew that Din was happy as he took the child in his arms. Grogu squealed with delight as she fiddled with his ear. He was smart, he knew they had finally stopped acting like idiots.
           "So I'm his bure ?"
           "Buire. His mother. Or relative."
           "Riduur ?"
           "My wife. Partner."
           "Cyare ? Mesh'la ?"
           "It's time to go."
           "Din !"
           "I'll teach you Mando'a, later."
After greeting the Armourer, who seemed relieved that they were indeed married, otherwise Din would have become an apostate, they flew to a new destination. During the trip, when Grogu was sleeping, Din explained his culture a little better to Y/N, teaching her a few words, when she wasn't teaching him new non-verbal ways to show that he loved her in the cockpit.
While they were embracing, he translated to her the vows he had pronounced during their 'wedding'.
“We are one when together, we are one when parted, we will share all, we will raise warriors.”
"That's terribly romantic... Wait. Raise warriors ?"
"Yes. We already have a child of course, but one day he could have vodes and..."
           "Vodes ?"
"... Brothers and sisters ?" Din said shyly, placing his hand on her belly. "If you want, of course !"
Yes, the Mandalorian was a man of honour. A good man, a wonderful father, an exceptional husband, and an adorably awkward lover, and Y/N had known it as soon as she had met him.

The Captain
Pairing: Rex x F!Reader Rating: SFW Summary: Rex meets the four year old daughter of the woman he met through Right to Love (@tcwmatchmakingau mentioned, but not part of) Warnings: None Word Count :1133 Graphic Header and Dividers by:@sunshinesdaydream (me)

Rex had let you go on about your daughter, Eryka. You had felt bad spending time on your dates going on about her.  But he had encouraged it, asking about how she was doing.  He remembered the things going on in her life just as he did yours.
“Mesh’la, I knew from the start you have Eryka. She’s part of your life, and since I hope to be too, I also hope to be part of hers,” he told you two weeks in.
About a month after you first met him through the Right to Love matchmaking service, you had decided that it was time for the two of them to meet.
Rather past time. The whole point in the matchmaking service was to find the right long term partner. So you asked him to meet the two of you for dinner. Unfortunately he was sent on an emergency deployment the next morning.
So you used the time he was gone to tell your four year old about Rex. Immediately it was the same thing the other way around.  She had pouted when you had insisted she wait and meet him in person instead of over holocall. You also didn’t tell her that he agreed that they should wait for an in person introduction.
Now, when he was due to arrive any minute, you were just finishing her hair. “Mama? Can I call him Captain? Or do I call him Rex?”
“I think that is something you should ask him.  But which would you be most okay with?” you ask.
“Captain.  It's weird calling big people by their name unless I say mister first,” she answers, decisively.
“I’m sure he will think that’s absolutely fine then,” you assure her. “But you can ask to be sure,”
“Okay,” she answers.  The chime sounded that he had gotten to your door and Eryka bolted out from under your hands faster than you could blink.
“Can I open it?” Her hand reaches for the panel by the door. “He is only kind of a stranger because you know him, Mama,”
“You can open the door for Rex, that’s fine,”  you sigh.
With a grin she pushes the button and the door slid open. Face to face with each other they both pause. Then Rex took a knee, getting on her level.
“Hello, Eryka, it’s nice to finally meet you” he says, offering his hand.
You have to stifle a laugh when your precocious daughter responds in her best “tea party” manners. She reaches with her small hand to shake his and said, “Pleased to meet you sir, may I call you Captain?”
He gently takes her hand and shakes it. With a serious, but pleasant expression, he responds “If you would like,”
“Yes, please” She answers.
“When I was planetside on my last mission I found this in a shop. Thought you might like it,” Rex offers a white plush fathier.
With that she breaks character. Eryka’s eyes went wide and she gasps. With a bright smile, he sets the stuffed animal in her arms.
“Oh, thank you!” She squeals, hugging the toy close.
“You’re welcome,” Rex answers before getting to his feet. “And this is for your mom,” he hands you a small shimersilk pouch. Out of it tumbles a silvery charm bracelet with a crystal fathier charm.
“It’s beautiful, thank you,” you breathe as he helps you with the clasp on your wrist.
“Aren’t you going to give him a kiss, Mama? The princess in the stories gives the prince a kiss,” Eryka asks, causing both of you to freeze.  This was not something that had occurred to either of you to discuss.
“Oh! You’re being shy!” She covers her face with the stuffed animal and spins around to face the other way. “‘Kay, not looking!” Her voice is muffled.
You bite your lip to prevent the giggle from escaping, and it was clear Rex was restraining his own laugh. You go up on your toes to give him a soft kiss. “Thank you, and welcome back,” you murmur.
Rex leans in and gives you a firmer, longer lasting kiss.  “It’s good to be back, ner Cyare,” he answers.
Eryka clears her throat dramatically and Rex grins at you before doing the same and saying, “Right, are we ready to go?”
Over dinner the two of them ask all the questions they had asked you and more. By the time you were eating dessert he had learned everything about her preschool and she knew the names of his closest brothers and enough about boloball that she asked him to teach her.
As you made your way home Eryka was visibly wilting, swaying on her feet. You start to pick her up to carry her the rest of the way. But his hand is on your shoulder. “Allow me?” He asks.
You nod in response and he addresses Eryka. “Ad’ika, is it okay if I carry you home? You look very tired.”
She reaches up for him and he scoops her up.  She immediately lays her head against him and you both thought she had passed out until she says, sleepily”Captain?”
“Yes, ad’ika?” He answers.
“What’s that word?” She mumbles.
“It means little one in mando’a, a language my brothers and I speak,” he explains.
Eryka’s head pops up immediately, clearly half asleep she says, “teach me, please?”
He laughs quietly, “of course, but another day,”
“Mmmkay,” she mumbles as she snuggled against him.
Rex then took your hand with his free one, lacing his fingers with yours, and continued back to your apartment in quiet conversation with you.
Once to your home he follows you to Eryka’s room. While you pulled a nightgown out of the drawer for her he laid her gently on her bed, cradling her head as if she was a newborn, and took her shoes off of her.   When you pull her dress off he has her nightgown ready to go on over her head, disturbing her as little as possible.  He waits next to you as you cover her with her blanket and quietly follows you out of the room.
When you both are away from the door to her room he pulls you into a tight embrace, pressing his face to your neck.  You pull back just enough to capture his lips and give him a proper welcome home kiss.
“Will you stay tonight?” you ask him.
“Can’t, have a post mission inspection tomorrow morning,” he strokes your cheek while he answers. “If you both want to meet me in the park tomorrow afternoon,”
“We can make dinner after,” you continue, smiling up at him. “Maybe you can stay then?”
Cradling your face in his hands, he gives you a gentle kiss, “Sounds like a good plan,”

Time for the Clones to love Obi Wan
I was thinking…and maybe one of the SW series (Not this Crude Matter by thebitterbeast, it’s fantastic. You should read it) that I am reading is in the middle of the hurt but we haven’t hit the comfort, so I want something to soothe that. Now I shall inflict the results of that upon all of you. Be aware that some of these tropes don’t usually go together but I think if you walk with me you’ll see where it all connects.
We start with a tried and true, the clones are sent back to their younger selves at death. They arrive something like five years before the clone wars are to start and man are they all deeply traumatized.  Using all the collective knowledge they have (Rex was the last standing and he died of old age, living long enough to see Ben Solo’s birth after they fixed the accelerated aging. He was physically 110 when he died and living off of spite) they quickly take control of Kamino, dechip themselves, move the entire operation to an uninhabited world in the outer rim (Look there are a lot of inhabitable worlds and only so many sentients in the galaxy).  They make it abundantly clear they consider Boba their brother (though he did not have his older self’s memories) and that Jango was allowed to come with them as Boba’s father but the rest of the clones consider him both Dar’buir and Dar’manda, as well as just shy of Demagolka. He may have just watched 1 millions young adults, teens, and children wearing his face efficiently take over a planet, kill all but a handful of the trainers, and within days have a new planet to make their home out of. It has reawakened his Mandalorian adoption genes (and several other parts of his personality he would have sworn had been killed by slavery and Spice years ago) and he rather desperately wants to prove that they can call him Buir.
The thing about having come back from years and decades into the future, they know where all the bodies are buried. The former Coruscant guard, particularly, knows where to find proof of all of Sidious's dealings, even five years prior to any of them meeting him. This is a highly trained, highly efficient army.  Within a tenday they have released proof of Palptine’s misdeed onto the Holonet. Before the fallout could fully affect the Sith, Palpatine is shot and killed with three slugs from a slug thrower sniper rifle; the perpetrators are never caught.  The Vod’e are careful never to confirm exactly where Fox, or any of the Coruscant Guard were in the time before or after the assination that it would have taken to get to Coruscant or back (They did not actually do the deed, it was an assassination attempt that Palpatine had easily dodged in the first timeline, he was just a little too distracted by his business being aired in this one).
The initial plan of the Vod’e was to get settled and eventually approach the Jedi. Their Jedi. They didn’t know how to convince the Jedi to trust them (whether the Jedi remembered or not) but they intended that eventually the Jedi would not go on missions alone any longer.
That was the Plan
This is where the second trope comes into play. Groups of Senators, desperate for anything to distract from the fact that the Chancellor they backed turned out to be planning Genocide (It could be argued that being Sith was not actually illegal, and every single one of them did). They found a set of Blue laws that, combined with the fact that the Fett Clones (as they were generally being called) were on paper ordered by a Master of the Jedi Order, meant that the Senate could marry (really it was assign as a hostage but it was worded as marry) a member of the Jedi Order to a member of a group they had wronged for the sake of an alliance.
FUN FACT: A Blue Law is a US State law on the books that is no longer enforced, mostly forgotten, and sounds a little ridiculous. I also personally believe that it remains on the books because in order to have it removed, someone has to stand in front of a state legislative body and actually say the law. Two examples come to mind: In Alaska it is illegal to push a moose out of an airplane and in Massachusetts a parent can call the police to have their children arrested for being unruly.
Now back to the regularly scheduled Madness
Now the Senate does not want to send someone too important to the Fett Clones. In fact if they could choose someone that would be a subtle insult, all the better. They choose a youngish knight, who had only been a knight less than a decade, with a Padawan. They choose a knight that, on paper, is not that impressive. Reports from his younger years indicate he was a decent, if slightly aggressive, initiate. Nearly not chosen.  Mission reports during his padawanship were sparsely written and mentioned him little. Having taken a padawan younger than average, he was temple bound more often than most during their first years of knighthood.
The Senate chose Obi Wan Kenobi as a spouse. While he was somewhat famous within the order already (for the fight with Maul, his rocky apprenticeship, and taking Anakin on before he was even officially knighted) outside of the Order he was a random Jedi, remembered fondly by those who met him personally but not well known by the galaxy at large.
Had this happened with any other group, the insult would have landed as intended. However this was the Vod’e. The Vod’e remembered General Obi Wan Kenobi, the Negotiator. And while almost every Vod’e would claim that their Jedi was the best Jedi, the best General, the best Jedi General, and the best sentient in general, everyone could agree that Kenobi was amazing (the 501st would like it understood that they have a…complicated relationship with the memories of their general. On the one hand he led the march on the temple, on the other, even as Vader he tended to treat them better than he did Nat borns. Not well by any measure, plenty of brothers died at Vader’s hands but it did always seem as if he was just a hair less likely to throw a tantrum that would hurt them then he was to do the same to the nat born officers).  To a man every member of the Vod’e is ecstatic that they are sending The Obi Wan Kenobi to them.
When they had been first told that they were being given a Jedi to marry they kind of shrugged at each other, in spite of the efforts of the best efforts of the Jedi and the previous timeline, most of the Voe had no real concept of how Nat borns operate, and even the little bit they did know seemed to be contradictory. They figured they would adjust who of the Vod’e would be the ‘spouse’ based on the Jedi sent (Since everyone knew that Bly would kill the person who wasn’t him who got to marry Aayla), so upon being informed that Obi Wan Kenobi would arriving within a tenday they restructured the government so that Cody could take up duties as Obi wan’s spouse (They envisioned the marriage being Cody mostly following Obi Wan on Jedi missions, so he had to be able to be off planet for long stretches of time) and Cody is practically vibrating with excitement (in between rushes of nauseating anxiety and crippling guilt) at being able to woo his Jedi.
So we now have three very disparate groups with three very different ideas about what was happening.
The senate knew next to nothing about the Fett Clones, save that they are clones of Jango Fett so likely would have a grudge against the Jedi (Obi Wan the sacrifice/hostage). They do not know, or (for most of the senate) particularly care what the Clones do with their Jedi Hostage.  Internally it is known that the chosen Spouse cannot be killed within the first six months of the marriage, but makes no other caveat for treatment.
We have the Jedi, who also know next to nothing about the Clones. They actually know little more than the Senate, and anticipate that the Clones might be unhappy about Master Sifo-Dyas actions (the Clones decidedly are not).  They believe that violence will be done on Obi wan’s person, and they do care. But, like in the clone wars before them,  none of the Jedi believe that they are able to do anything about it.  With a heavy heart, they decide to treat this as a suicide mission, in that when Obi Wan leaves he likely will never be heard from again. The entire council vows to take on the tuition of Anakin Skywalker, now fourteen. They are able to make it clear to young Anakin that there is no choice, that not a single one of the Jedi have a choice in this matter.
The sheer raw emotions that Anakin could feel, exacerbated by the fact that no one, from Yoda on down, had ever realized that the Senate could do this, helped tie him closer to the Jedi. They were not unfeeling, but they still stood, mourning his master before his death. He was still young enough to remember the helplessness not being able to help other slaves and thinks that this feeling is very familiar.
And we have the clones, who do not know that they have just been gifted a Jedi that the other players expect to be dead with a rotation. They are so…so happy to see Obi Wan.  How each member of the former 212th had been racking their brains for days for every detail of Their general’s likes and dislikes (there are a string of missions to make sure there is a good stock of the best tea they could find). That there had been a day-long tournament on who got the honor of going to the Core to collect their Jedi (Cody cannot because they are still shifting duties so that when his husband took missions again he could go with him).
When Obi Wan boarded the cruiser that would take him to his new husband, he expected crackling, icy anger. He expected the brittleness in the Force that had always meant hatred to him. Instead he was buffeted by fondness and glee.  By a strange twist of relief. The cruiser was small enough that he was traveling with a total of 10 people. Each of those 10, at some point in the short trip, would stop and the Force around them would become distress. They would stare into the middle distance for several moments, then, upon coming back to themselves, would seek Obi Wan out and ask for a hug.
Even arriving on the still unnamed planet, Obi Wan is greeted by people who are ecstatic for him to be there.  It is unnerving, to expect hostility and receive hugs and joy (Well, Jango does radiate hostility into the Force, but he is well aware he is on thin ice. And he may not know why but his Ad, no he is not allowed to call them that out loud, clearly loves the Jetti). His husband (there was no ceremony, just paperwork signed by the Vod’e and the Republic) stands a respectful distance away and keeps making aborted motions like he also wants to hug him. They have stocked his favorite teas and ask questions about his padawan and various other Jedi and seem almost desperate for the answers. They even give him a comm unit for his room, which he does not have to share with his husband, they say to contact his family in the Core (He never uses it, he can’t possibly trust it). The closest thing to violence that happens is when the Medics tell him if he doesn’t give a reasonable amount of sleep they will sedate him. This is so much better than he thought.
For the Clones part they can tell he is low key freaking out.  Which in turn is freaking them out.  They go round and round, what if he remembers what they did? But he doesn’t give any indication that he did, that those memories exist. Well, what if he only subconsciously remembers. The last time some of them saw him, they were shooting him off a cliff. Cody, in particular, is full to the brim with Anxiety. He desperately wants to hold Obi Wan, to ground himself in the Jedi’s heartbeat and try to forget a dusty world and the words ‘Blast him’ and all the horror that came after.
Four months pass, as Obi Wan slowly relaxes and accepts that at the very least the clones do not want to hurt him, personally. He can’t quite believe that they have no designs on the Order as a whole and is still fairly awkward around all of them. This is compounded by the fact that they seemed to know his preferences better than he does (leading him to believe that the entirety of the Vode are obsessed with him and obsession turns to darkness so easily). It all comes to a head when Jango picks a fight that reveals that the entire Jedi Order thought that they were being forced to send Obi Wan to die at the hands of the Vode.  That all of Obi Wan’s awkwardness is based on this fear (and the fear that they were going to use anything he said to hurt other Jedi) as well as the fact that he had no choice in the matter, he has no memories of the previous timeline.
There is a very long moment where every Vod’e in the room just stares at Obi Wan, before a collective panic attack the likes of which this universe has never seen spills into the Force.  It goes on for 45 seconds before Fox manages to get everyone into at least some semblance of calm (Both Jango and Obi Wan are watching all of this, wide eyed. They are temporarily on the same page in the land of What the Fuck).   Fox manages to clarify that 1)no the Vod’e do not hold any grudge against the Jedi, they were made for the Jedi and had in fact rebelled to protect the Jedi 2) Obi Wan was in no danger here and they would not keep him here if he wanted to leave, 3) what they (the Vod’e) thought was happening when they were ‘given’ a Jedi (They had thought that this a somewhat normal occurrence of a trope called ‘marriage of convenience’ where the only thing that was going different was that Cody could legally insist on going on missions with Obi Wan) and 4) inquired if this was why they were having a hard time getting in contact with the rest of the Jedi (Yes. Yes it was.). Fox also asked, on behalf of the rest of the clones, exactly which senators voted to send Obi Wan to them (The moment their panic faded, the 212th was going to be on their way to Coruscant and he wanted to have a list of targets ready).
Obi Wan told Fox that he didn’t know who voted for what, but offered to contact the Jedi right then. He did, on the main communications relay with more than half the Vode leadership looking on.  Using his own personal codes saw the call connecting immediately, with several members of the High Council visibly bracing themselves for whoever was on the other end(No one could be sure what condition Obi Wan would be in, if he was even the person using those codes). Obi Wan explains the months long misunderstanding (He had not clarified, as he did not want to rock the boat and remind the Vode of the torture option if they had ever planned to go that way. The Vod’e could tell Obi Wan was freaking out and they were trying to be considerate). There was much rejoicing as it became clear that Obi Wan was being treated well. It is decided that several members of the council (Yoda, Mace Windu, Yaddle, Plo Koon, and Shaak Ti), Anakin Skywalker, Quinlan Vos, and Eerin Bant would come to the still unnamed planet to clear up any further misunderstanding (Also the Vod’e had been building a temple for the Jedi as a surprise and wanted to show it off).
In the meantime, with the revelation that they were not going to hurt his family, Obi Wan fully relaxed around the Vode. It became obvious once he was paying attention (and not splitting his focus by trying to keep himself aloof from people who were so happy he was there) that his husband was trying to Woo him, and also date him. He found himself not opposed (the potential for love was there, but from his perspective he had effectively been sold to Cody and had spent four months half convinced that any information that he gave would be used against the Jedi). He found that he was particularly fond of the way Cody blushed when Obi Wan flirted with intent (as opposed to the absent minded flirting when he wanted a potential enemy to be off balance. Obi Wan had no idea how Cody was able to tell the difference, but he could).  Throughout Vod’e of all ages would seek Obi Wan out and request a hug, though always respectfully (generally the 212th, and mostly after they had nightmares of the previous timeline).
While this turned out more serious than I had actually intended, I just want you to go out and imagine teenage clones, freaked out because they had a nightmare about Utapau seeking a bemused Obi Wan for a hug, because he is alive.

Feral Hunter
Tumblr media
I wrote most of this in a reblog but thought it deserved its own post as my unwieldy response took on a life of its own, which they have a tendency to do. I’ve added more to it as well so there’s some new extra ramblings on one of my favourite ideas/headcanons/theories for season 3 of The Bad Batch.
Give me Feral Hunter. My kingdom for Feral Hunter. Completely unhinged, vengeance fueled, feral Hunter. He can go on his Joel Miller/The Mandalorian/John Wick/Liam Neeson in Taken/The Punisher arc, as a little treat.
I've been trying to figure out why I love this idea so much. I think it's because we never really see any of the Batch actually, properly unleash. Sure, they're unconventional and a bit bonkers in their approach but they're still a very well-oiled machine. When they're on a mission, they all know exactly what they're doing, what their roles are, and where their squad mates are. Even when they improvise on the fly, they all adapt fairly easily and smoothly. Everything is still all rather professional, smooth, and efficient. Like they're all operating on muscle memory, which they basically are given how many countless times I'm sure they've trained and done missions together.
Even when the Batch is fighting their way through Kamino, they still operate with that same smooth, efficient, hyper competent professionalism. Despite their unorthodox approach, there's still this sense that they're contained. Never throwing off the shackles and being completely unrestrained. The full unbridled force of their abilities and skills simmering just below the surface, waiting to be given free rein and just obliterate everything.
Tumblr media
There's a little hint of this in the opening scene of episode 2x14 'Tipping Point', where the ARC Trooper in Echo comes out to play. But oh, how I would love to see more. From all of them, but especially Hunter.
Tumblr media
Look at his face. Look at that expression and all those emotions from Sergeant Stoic himself, who is usually fairly reserved and contained. Dorito Bod Bandana Space Dad on the warpath to get his ad'ika back, cutting a swathe through the Imperials, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake, and taking out anything and everything that even thinks about getting in his way. Hunter goes full Space Rambo mode, ruthlessly taking out Stormtroopers, blood dripping off his vibroblade, eyes wide and deranged, as he turns into a complete animal. His half tattooed skull now completed by the blood of his enemies covering the other side of his face. For extra angst, when he finds Omega, she doesn’t recognise him. The figure standing in the smoking remains of the door to her cell looks like Hunter. Is wearing Hunter’s armour. Is holding Hunter’s vibroknife. But that’s not Hunter. That’s not her buir. Not anymore. And she’s afraid of him. We get a little hint of this at the very end of season 2 and oh ho ho, I am so ready for more. I am so ready for Hunter’s descent into vengeance, revenge and rage. Not just Hunter either, I’d love to see the rest of the Batch unleash as well.
Tumblr media
Can you just imagine Wrecker properly unleashing? All of that strength and power finally freed as he rips limbs off Stormtroopers, snapping necks and crushing skulls with his bare hands. The crumpled, pulverised bodies of his enemies discarded behind him as he rages down corridor after corridor of whatever Imperial base they’ve infiltrated. We got a hint of how damaging Wrecker can be when his chip activated but that was chip controlled. This would just be pure Wrecker.
Tumblr media
We see a little more of this in Crosshair's actions and you could also argue that this is chip controlled. Or if his chip has actually been removed, then Crosshair’s actions are definitely still clouded by his Imperial mindset and blind delusion that the Empire is right. Right up until it all goes horribly wrong on Barton-4 and he finally wakes up to the reality of his nightmare. Either way, that unrestrained part of him is still there. The amount of rage and anger that must be building up and festering inside Crosshair is eventually going to explode. When he snaps like he did at the end of 'The Outpost' then there isn’t going to be an Imperial left without a blaster bolt between their eyes. When Hemlock ends up dying (he better), my bet is on Crosshair taking him out and getting revenge. And it won't be pretty. He'd shoot him execution style at the very least.
Tumblr media
I'd love to see Tech (shut up he's alive) completely lose it and finally snap off every ounce of his carefully crafted control. I've written about this before but Tech's combat is exceptionally efficient and precise. He only ever uses the minimum number of shots or moves to take out an enemy because he doesn't need to expend anything beyond what is necessary. Complete economy of form. His combat style is very contained, almost like a mirror of his personality and character. Can you just imagine him snarling and growling like a beast, teeth bared, eyes dark, face distorted in rage, as he slams a Stormtrooper's head into a control panel desk with enough force to crack their helmet and shatter their visor.
I mentioned above that we've seen a tiny bit of this slightly unhinged quality from Echo. There's another little hint of it when they're all in that training simulation on Kamino.
Tumblr media
This gifset from @starqueensthings shows this perfectly, especially the above gif. I love the line they wrote at the top of their post as well, which I'm going to quote in part here: "I’d like to introduce my scomp arm TO YOUR JUGULAR WIRE." This perfectly encapsulates the unhinged quality lurking in Echo. He just leaps onto the back of what looks like the Kaminoan version of a B2 super battle droid and then proceeds to flail and stab madly before plunging his scomp arm into the battle droid's chest and ripping out the droid version of its jugular. Absolutely unhinged behaviour. The absolute madlad.
Now picture Echo finally snapping and doing this to a bunch of Imperials and just absolutely annihilating them. There is so much in him that is screaming to be let out. The general batshittery that comes with being an ARC Trooper. The insanity and chaos of coming from the 501st and Torrent Company. The unconventional, yeet-the-reg-manual-out-the-airlock, bonkers existence of The Bad Batch. Plus all that trauma, fury and rage of what has happened to him, what was done to him, and everything that he’s seen, experienced, endured, suffered, and survived. When the last few frayed threads holding Echo back finally snap he is going to go completely postal.
Is it healthy? No. Is it "good"? Probably not. But my god, would I love to see it.
The Clone Wars has a history of tackling and portraying difficult, multilayered and nuanced topics and we've seen that in The Bad Batch as well. More recent Star Wars series, such as Andor and The Mandalorian, have also had a real interest in showing the murky areas that exist between the good (Republic) and the bad (Imperial). There's been a particular focus on showing that there's a lot more grey than we think, rather than the pure dichotomy between cliched black and white. That sometimes there is no right or wrong decision. That sometimes everything is awful and everyone is stuck in a shitty situation from which there is no way to escape unscathed. In order to make it out alive, lines are going to be crossed. The battle of good vs evil takes on a new edge and the line between good and bad gets very murky.
That quote about how “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” comes to mind. In this instance, the Batch are still fighting tooth and nail for each other but their sacrifices and actions are starting to take them to much darker places. It’s a classic example of good people being driven to do bad, awful, terrible things when those they love are in danger and they will do whatever it takes to save them.
The whole 'deeply flawed parental figure seeking vengeance' is a popular trope at the moment as well so Feral Hunter would make sense narratively for a number of reasons.
Will we actually get it? Probably not. And even if we do, it'll probably still be a watered-down kid friendly version.
But oh, just imagine if we did.

You know what else I like???? I like watching people eat. I can watch a mukbang if I’m extremely hungry but need something to watch while stuffing my face (tho for mukbangs themselves I have to turn off the volume entirely because those sounds make me wanna nerf someone lol) or I could watch someone going through a convenience store, getting a whole meal, and eating it, but my fave??? Watching someone do one of those ‘challenge platters’. The ones where ‘you have ab hour to finish this whole platter and get the whole meal, or take longer and pay full’ sorta situations???
Yeah idk what it is about someone stuffing themselves sick but maybe it’s because I actually have a very small stomach and have to eat tiny meals so I don’t throw up, but also because as soon as I’m full, food doesn’t even TASTE good anymore and people in these videos seem to enjoy it the whole way through. I smell a food while full and I’m gagging even if it’s my fave.
Either way. So I get it. I don’t like exaggerated eating sounds, but I love watching someone eat a massive delicious meal.
Either way. This is gonna sound like it’s outta left field. But. AU where Qui-Gon has Once More had to leave his Padawan in the middle of nowhere, only for Obi to run out of money.
Of course, that’s when he passes by someone doing a food volg and talking about the one hour challenge to eat all this food and you get your meal free. You have to eat it all and you gotta do it in an hour.
Obviously, he stops right behind them, not realizing they’re live-streaming, and is all ‘omfg free meal if I eat it all in an hour??’ And the vlogger is all ‘omfg hungy baby Jedi’ and parks his ass next to them all ‘okay, let’s explain the rules’ and Obi is all ‘shit, I can’t afford 100 credits if I fail’ but the vlogger is all ‘baby Jedi, if you try this with me on livestream, I will likely make enough in this one stream to pay for our meals 100x over, lemme feed you’ and then they hear a ding of someone sending like 500 credits worth of blogging tokens all ‘feed him before I track you down and feed him for you’. See. Already paid for.
Anyways. That was the day that the galaxy at large learned that a smol Jedi padawan can eat a Bantha, purrs really nice and contented when they’re stuffed full, and also is a cuddly little worm who very much tried to be the bloggers lap warmer after a nice meal. He’s a baby.
Anyways I’ve decided the vlogger should be a Mandalorian OC and they adopt him and follow him and Qui-Gon on missions for the next 10 years (till Obi is knighted and has a kid of his own, then they follow him and Ani instead) and do a bunch of live-streaming challenges all over the galaxy of food challenge platters.
Also maybe make Obi a lil more plump???? As a treato 🥺🥺🥺????
Yes. That can also be allowed. Bant is his Mando parent’s bestie she’s never seen her bestie so healthy and happy before. Qui-Gon is trying his best but now he has someone to hold a blaster to his head when he’s not being a good master at the moment. Anakin is spoiled rotten and Obi’s Mando Buir gets married to Shmi probably and they travel the galaxy. Shmi isn’t a big eater but she likes her fancy lil delicate meals while riduur is eating a bantha’s share. It’s cute.
Is this entirely For Me? Probably. Am I considering making it because I love playing with holonet, social media in the galaxy, and Mandos adopting Obi? Ya.

*slams hands on desk *I need a whole show or series of shorts of Paz being a good Buir but Disney won't do it because they're COWARDS
YES AGREED!! Like how dare they unlock this new part of his character only to then rip it away from us?? I need to know/see all of the following:
How did Paz become a father? Is Ragnar his by blood or is he a Foundling?
Paz training Ragnar in the ways of the Mandalore
Paz taking Ragnar out on a mission or something and teaching his son valuable lessons
Paz having to deal with Ragnar getting a crush and all the drama that would ensue
Is Paz married? Does he have anyone special in his life? How does he navigate all of this with his son and how does Ragnar feel about it all?
And of course, Paz spilling all the secrets about Uncle Din to him so that they can more effectively gang up and poke fun at him!!!!
WE WERE ROBBED OF THIS!!!!

wolffe in the steam room
headcanons based on @rexsterss recent wolffe art piece
general koon allowed pretended not to see some of the Triumphant's engineers hack away and redesign a few shower stalls into a steam room type area. he knew the bois didn't get many chances to relax or have chill time. or much alone time.
plus, heat is great for old injuries, recovery, etc. how could general buir not let this happen? happy boys = better war stuff (as bad as it is)
so wolffe has had it rough. i'm willing to bet you half a sandwich that wolffe has more scar tissue than just his eye. on top of that, campaigns and relief missions aren't easy. a good sit down and stretch and alone time, say, after Aleen with Threepio or after the horrors of Kadavo or after whatever canon hasn't mentioned would be so nice
so yeah
commander "is anybody dying" wolffe is 100% going to finish having a moment to himself in a steam room stall
we all know he needs it
it's like getting between any of the command batch (including wolffe) and his caf. don't
every now and then plo joins the line for the steam stalls bc like plenty of others in the war effort, he prob has to do physical therapy and the steam can help with that. i think. i don't know much about PT but warm muscles are good for movement
he also likes meditating in there every once in a while
back to wolffe bc i'm scatterbrained
he knows the pack are Big Boys and can handle problems by themselves. wolffe. needs. a break. and some space ibuprofen for that C3P0 induced headache
he took a nap in there once. no one confirms it because wolffe's deathglare is the stuff of shiny legend. he drank three space gatorades after.
after noticing the success of the steam rooms, koon anonymously starts working on getting more self care/physical therapy acommodations for the 104th. pain is painful, and if the boys have a job to do, let's support them in it
yes, a space frog HAS ended up in there. her name is Delilah, they can't keep track of her long enough to set her free. all those who spot her report that she seems content
in case you hadn't noticed, this is medic approved (the medics in other battalions are jealous, but the 104th engineers have been too busy to share how they did it)
it also immensely helped when the general was coughing and sneezing a lot that one time

Fuck it, Wolfpack hc
Comet was assigned to the 104th immediately after Malevolance. While they waited for the rest of the battalions positions to be filled Comet bonded with the survivors and this is how he became apart of the pac
They all have matching tattoos that say “Plos Bros”
A lot of “cannot be adopted separately” energy
Wolffe is like Ahsokas older brother, while Boost and Sinker are like her weird cousins
In the first year of the war alone Plo pulled the “i’m not mad i’m just disappointed” line 138 times.
Mostly directed at Sinker and Boost
Unlike Cody, who when their generals lightsaber gets dropped he simply picks it back up and uses it. Wolffe commands a perimeter to be formed around the weapon until Plo’Buir can retrieve it
“Wolffe you know you can pick it up right? it’s not forbidden”
“Who do you take me for buir? I refuse to succumb to Kote’s level”
Sinker LOVES underwater missions and jumps at the opportunity to work with Kit
