I miss when u could see like 400 new discord servers every day just scrolling on tumblr. what am i to do when i cant join a discord, send an intro, and then mute it to never look in it again every day

I’ve never really talked about it, but SCP Philza’s gender gets weirder the longer I look at it. A conceptual/metaphorical being doesn’t necessarily have much use for a gender (unless human interpretation of the concept involves gender). Nearly all conceptuals encountered in Fault (mostly voidlings) use they/them or the occasional it/its, but Philza distinctly doesn’t. Very few conceptuals are powerful enough to create a physical body, which Philza did in order to become humanish. I think in that quest Phil found it convenient to have a gender when interacting with humans. And he mostly registers as male bc patriarchy and it made things easier, but also societal expressions of gender changed so much in human history so Philza doesn’t have a super firm grasp on it. And given how tied Philza’s physical form is to mental state and self perception, his body’s sex was pretty fluid over the millennia.

So Philza ends up as a genderless being that presents in a way that modern western society would read as conflicting gender markers, such as having a beard and long hair, deep voice and name ending in -a, etc. (Emphasis on characteristics being gendered based on customs, of COURSE.) I think it makes for an interesting contrast with scp Tubbo, who has multiple genders from the hivemind, but who presents with more stereotypical androgyny, ie lacking traditionally gendered characteristics.

because like the stick figures are playing in Minecraft worlds used by other "real" players from their computers. The world that the King's son played in was a hardcore world that was played by someone, and that person died, which deleted the world. This is why the King's son got deleted with the world.

I haven't heard about this theory yet! I think that's really interesting and I can certainly see why people would latch on to it!

If the 3 stick engineers were hacking into Minecraft worlds from "Player" accounts, then if the world is a Hardcore world that does give a reason why the Minecraft world suddenly got deleted. Since the "Player" died.

Granted, this maybe different because they're stick figures hacking into a Hardcore world, but Hardcore world's don't actually delete themselves when you die. Once you die, you're still able to visit the world as many times as you like via Spectator mode. Maybe when the "Player" died, Gold got sucked into the game and lost connection to the server and is now permanently stuck in Spectator Mode.

Though personally, I don't think that's what happened.

These guys are running a business. I don't believe they'd take the risk of the Minecraft World shutting down that is associated with Hardcore worlds.

Along with that, you may not know this about me, but I run a Minecraft server in my free time for a couple of my friends but I don't host it on my computer. I use a website called "Aternos" to host my Minecraft server. It's not the best Minecraft hosting site but it's free and mildly flexible when it comes to mods and plugins!

If I had to guess, I think the guys running the "Minecraft Experience Booth" were using a "shoddy" hosting site to host the Minecraft server and then something went wrong server side that corrupted the entire server.

I can tell you from experience, being the Admin of a Minecraft server can be little daunting. It's easy to mess the entire world up if you're not careful when updating the world from one version to another, adding in mods and plugins, checking through the player data, etc.

Sometimes things on the server won't work right if you have a mod pack that's out of date or isn't compatible with the version of Minecraft you're using for the server.

It's a lot of work and sometimes bugs and glitches still happen! In the episode itself, you can see the 2 Sticks manning the controls receive an error warnings first before the corruption kicks in. Although we can't read the screens, those lines of code look like "Error Logs" to me. Usually Hosting Services will have a place for you to look at the Server Logs.

Actually, looking back at the episode, the entire thing is called a "Minecraft Simulator". So maybe they aren't even using a real version of Minecraft. AND IT'S STILL IN EARLY ACCESS

Part of me finds it so funny that I’m mostly an MCD tumblr. Before a few weeks ago, it had been years since I had even thought of MCD. I do so much other stuff? That I just haven’t posted. I got into VOICES OF THE VOID in September and took a particular liking to the mannequins... to the point I discovered a Paracosm character in there!! After some shenanigans with Dr. Kel, they eventually befriend each other and she just enjoys hanging out with Dr. Kel and co! Sometimes making a mess with her besties WWW based on some real things that happened watching one of my friends play it ww

Her name is Betzy! She has a very urban and chic vibe to her, and apparently has fingers (which means something significant from the mannequin society she was exiled from.). No one knows where she gets her clothes from or how she even grabs a hold of them ... but it plays a part as to why she had been exiled from her original society.

Alongside her is Angelicca, her best friend who followed her despite her exile. Mannequins seem to be made of different wood and thus vary in appearance! While Betzy vibes with the bustling city look, Angelicca gravitates to very feminine attire, especially if it's yellow. She also has a whole thing for butterflies, as it is one of her biggest dreams to observe them on the surface.

(Warframe headcanon that has spoilers for The Second Dream and the continuing main quests past that)

Fun Operator headcanon to think about:

Since the Operators communicate with other Tennos via in-game chats but ofc its not necessarily explained lore wise (as far as I know) I'm thinking it was all in their conciousness.

Using some kind of advanced far reaching telepathy all across the Origin System that comes naturally to them to engage with each other. That's why we can see our squadmates healths and everything. Maybe it's all interconnected with Lotus' powers and she acts like a hub that extends to all Tennos? Who knows, it just works for them.

Now imagine if their Void powers when combined together they can host other than chat channels, they also host game servers for funsies. Visualizing it all so vividly at the same time creating their own game simulation. Since I haven't got enough standings with Cephalon Simaris yet idk if the games we can buy from him like Frame Fighter has multiplayer or works that way.

Minecraft servers or Among Us servers would be a blast for them during breaks between missions. Popular past time activity among them and bonding time as well other than killing that is. Dojos also hosts their own game servers resulting in missions being delayed en-masse lol from the all nighters they pulled to build a huge Minecraft builds or messing with each other as impostors or crewmates.

Dungeons & Dragons with other Tennos across the Origin System maybe but they call it something else and to Lotus' dismay as they contribute mostly playing to avoid missions may take them for days to complete and they are committed to roleplay and completing it resulting in them showing up at each others sleepovers in their orbiters with elaborate LARP costumes they spent days to gather resources for just imagine them having fun times and their Warframes watching and rooting for them even helps them roleplay for immersion

you know, fl4k and my pc aren't so different if you think about it. I love both of them dearly, both have outdated hardware and everyone acts surprised when I tell them their age and both have a several year long backlog of updates that are being put off until the end of days because it screws over their systems (probably)

#random #fl4k #my pc was originally win 7 then i upgraded it to win 10 #win11 literally doesnt work on this thing and it makes my pc bluescreen after being on for just a few seconds so i downgraded back to win 1 #and it will remain like this until i can afford a new built #I've been adding and changing parts on this badboy since 2013 and by that point it was allready several years old cuz I got it second hand #and when the day comes my brave little trooper will become the host server of many fun multiplayer sessions in ARK valheim or minecraft #I call him fieri bc he has a flame sticker on it like the ones on guy fieris shirt #had it allready on the day I got the lil guy #I have the headcanon that fl4k keeps putting off their updates bc they could potentionally overwrite their free will
