Early on in the pandemic, some friends and I were laughing because I had mentioned I'd taken up mindfulness meditation and they were like "I wonder what Klingon mindfulness would look like." So I started making these fun little images and made "Klingon Mindfulness" a channel point redemption on my stream in 2021. Mindfulness meditation was a really transformative thing for me on a personal level. I started in 2019 and it is one of my most important self-care moments. Ironically, I started researching it because I was on the Star Trek Cruise and Nana Visitor did a morning meditation. Listening to people talk about their experiences - people with chronic pain, extreme anxiety & depression, ADHD, etc - was really encouraging to me - a person with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. One of the things I have loved about cosplaying a Klingon over the years is that it's an immediate confidence booster and grounds me in the moment. Just putting on the costume and getting into makeup is an act of meditation for me. The Klingon motto Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam helps keep me there. It's about living life to the fullest because you never know what may happen. It's not just about fighting hard but it's about loving, laughing, partying, and living hard (there are certainly folks out there who have to temper some of partying & living hard but the core tenants can remain). When you look at the practice of mok'bara, a very meditative practice, it doesn't seem so far-fetched to believe that Klingons would have wise warriors who offer sage wisdom to ground and bring one's mind into the present battle. Anyway, that's why I love Klingons. Qapla' batlh je!

Например, утренний ролик с более высокими частотами и заряжен цветами солнца - дает возможность откалибровать день с энергией и уверенностью. А вечером, теплые приглушенные и низкие частоты могут помочь успокоить наш разум и подготовить наш организм к отдыху.
Для качественной гармонизации внутреннего состояния в видео используется техника центрации, одного качественного глубокого вдоха задержки дыхания и выдоха.
Центрирование позволяет сосредоточиться, успокоиться и прийти в гармонию с окружающим миром. Центрирование - это процесс настройки энергии и концентрации на своих целях. Техника центрации позволяет быстро и эффективно прийти в себя (к себе настоящему) в течение всего 40 секунд.
Таким образом, ролики помогают быстро и легко прийти в гармонию, сосредоточение и силу в любое время суток. Это простой и удобный способ обрести внутреннюю гармонию и осознаться за считанные секунды. Почувствовать силу и уверенность в любой ситуации.

There is better way to welcome these newly-purchased wonder buddies from @5dhealingcrystals than doing this kind of nature trip/boat ride to this part of Manila Bay over the weekend. Power Animals and Plants

The shaman’s goal is to connect human consciousness to the natural and spiritual world. To do this, he or she uses animal and plant totems. Briefly, a totem is a symbol representing a spiritual aspect of a plant or animal and has importance to an individual or group. The shaman connects to the spirit of the animal or plant through a subliminal trance.
One acquires a spirit animal or plant through a variety of methods. Often, the spirit animal or plant will come to a person while he or she is on a vision quest. Its purpose and function are to help, or guide the human being. During journeying, a shaman may have his or her spirit helper along.
Most human beings can have a spirit animal or plant. There are various ways of acquiring one. Foremost, and before selection actually begins, you should have some idea as to why you want one, what it is you expect of your helper(s). Yes, you may have more than one power animal and or plant or any combination thereof.
Sit quietly and still in an outdoor area. Observe what birds, insects, and plants are around you. Pay close attention to their characteristics. Zero in on any that fascinate you. If your focus is a plant, examine its leaves, stem, and flower if it has one. Smell the plant. If you have a bird, squirrel, rabbit, chipmunk, or deer that comes into your zone, do not offer food. You may do that once a selection has been made if you are not in violation of the laws governing your area. The objective is not to make them a pet. If the plant or animal continues to hold a fascination (a strong interest) ask yourself which of its qualities or characteristics hold the most interest for you. Once you have noted that information, decide if you have the same qualities. Does it reflect qualities you would like to have? If so, then you have most likely selected your power animal or plant.
Can an animal select you?
Absolutely. You will know that by a recurring experience with that animal or plant. We are talking about synchronicity. Among Native Americans and some of the indigenous tribes of the Amazon, it is most significant if an animal spirit chooses you. It is very powerful and most likely will be a life-long spirit guide.
There are three types of spirit guides. The first, mentioned above, is the livelong spirit guide. This tutelary will work with you throughout your earth-life. Journey spirit guide is the second type. This one may stay a short time or may remain with you for over a year. It depends on how long it takes you to follow the way given to you by the guide. Time signifies the difference between this second type of spirit guide and the third. The third is the message guide. This one brings you an important and often life-altering message. At some point, if you tune into the magic of spirit animals and plants, you will experience all three types.

Buddhist Techniques for Taming the Monkey Mind

How to practice:
Find a quiet space and sit comfortably.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
When your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breath, acknowledging the wandering thought without judgment.

2. Practicing Non-attachment

Reflect on areas where attachment causes emotional turbulence.
Practice letting go by acknowledging impermanence and focusing on the present moment.

3. Loving-kindness Meditation (Metta)
What it is: Metta meditation focuses on cultivating feelings of love, compassion, and kindness towards oneself and others.
How to practice:
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Begin by directing loving-kindness towards yourself, silently repeating phrases like "May I be happy, may I be peaceful."
Extend these feelings towards loved ones, acquaintances, and even those with whom you have conflicts.

4. Mindful Breathing

What it is: Gratitude involves recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of life, fostering contentment and reducing the Monkey Mind's tendency to focus on negativity.
How to practice:
Keep a gratitude journal and write down three things you are grateful for each day.
Reflect on these moments of gratitude, cultivating a mindset of appreciation and abundance.
Benefits: Cultivating gratitude enhances emotional well-being, shifts focus from lack to abundance, and nurtures a positive outlook, reducing the grip of the Monkey Mind on your emotions.
