I've said before that the tng writers ignored almost all the existing basis for deanna/worf when they wrote s7 but it really is criminal, cause when deanna's actually having a serious bad time her first instinct is to snap at anyone who tries to make her confront her feelings. which is Worf's default state 24/7. s4e10 the loss shouldve had a little detour from the main plot where deanna and worf run into eachother and she's like oh thank god. you're not gonna make me talk about my feelings are you and he's like under no circumstances would I do that to you. and then he shows her how to unhealthily punch her emotions into dust on the holodeck.
