Meta: Emperors and Usurpers (1/?) - The Reign of Emperor Katchian la Orr

It is only fitting that in a story about an Empire whose imperial lineage has withstood a millennia, it comes to a disastrous end once a new Emperor not from that lineage takes the throne. In my opinion, the reason Turning is such an appealing novel, is in part the author’s narrative style. Kuyu is a master in mentioning small matters and bringing them to immense plot relevance much later, but never in a way that the reader feels overwhelmed or could not imagine this turn. It makes re reading this novel a genuine joy because you start to pick up narrative parallels and foreshadowing.

This writing style extends to the politics present in the novel as well, which leads me to my main point and topic of this meta post: Keilusa la Orr, even in the first time line, was preparing to leave Kishiar with all the tools necessary to seize the throne himself in case Katchian turned out to be a tyrant.

Or short, Keilusa wanted his brother to do a regicide.

To put this into context, we first have to look at why Keilusa might be preparing in such a way and for that, we have to go to a time much beyond Keilusa and Kishiar: Yuder’s execution.

At the time of Yuder’s execution, the Orr Empire was already deeply destabilized.

“You are a criminal who forgot your duties and responsibilities as the commander of the cavalry, and dared to conspire with an absurd claim that you acted for the sake of the world. You trespassed into the forbidden sanctuary, attempting to steal the World Sphere. Do you acknowledge your involvement in the assassination of Duke of Peletta nine years ago, the destruction of the Pearl Tower seven years ago, the Red Field Rebellion five years ago, and countless other incidents that cannot be enumerated? When the truth was revealed, you shamelessly attempted to flee by joining forces with other countries.” (Chapter 1)

The accusations leveled against Yuder are quite heavy, especially considering he really only did two of them. He did kill Kishiar, even if that was on Katchian’s orders as he feared Kishiar organizing a rebellion (Chapter 166), and Yuder attempted to steal the World Sphere, which we know is practically useless.

The point, however, are the other things Yuder is accused of, such as the destruction of Pearl Tower, the Red Field Rebellion, and collaboration with other countries. We’ll take those one by one.

Yuder had nothing to do with the destruction of Pearl Tower, even if he did think it was a “good riddance” (Chapter 34). Pearl Tower, however, was still the leading institution on magic on the continent (Chapter 26). Its destruction had to be a tremendous loss for the Orr Empire.

Similarly, the Red Field Rebellion appears to have been one of the biggest players attempting to kill Katchian during his reign (Chapter 630). At this point, the people were rallying against “the Emperor’s tyranny” (Chapter 630). Never mind that at the same time, the duchies were pressured by Katchian, so that they also didn’t particularly like him either. It has to be noted here that Yuder, once again, was the one stopping Marin’s first assassination attempt and it took knights sent by Katchian, the imperial army, and the Cavalry to take her down (630).

But why were the people rebelling against Katchian? To answer this question, we have to examine how Katchian (didn’t) care for the Empire and its people.

Yuder himself notes that Katchian was “the type who insisted on personally verifying everything. If put positively, he was cautious; negatively, overly suspicious. As he grew older, he began to doubt everything more and more, and in the end, he didn't even dare to deal closely with his overly powerful subordinates.” (107)

Katchian, ironically much like Yuder, decides to deal with everything himself. He doesn’t delegate, not because he necessarily considers himself to be the best at everything, which is Yuder’s issue, but because he doesn’t trust his subordinates. As the ruler of an Empire, Katchian’s unwillingness to rely on others, however, means that he makes decisions incredibly slowly and solutions are found similarly slowly. Acting on your own might result in quick solutions, yet the Emperor might assume you seek to betray him as you didn’t ask for permission.

Additionally, the Emperor is not shy in getting rid of anyone opposing him. After the poisoning event, Yuder recalls that speaking ill in front of the Emperor during the first disaster resulted in those people “secretly [being] killed by drinking the second poison that induced a burning throat.” (151) Katchian wanted such things to be handled in his absence, and the one to handle all kinds of assassination, more often than not, was Yuder. This went as far as Yuder calling himself “a tool of punishment when the Emperor suspected someone of treason.” (166)

It becomes evident that Katchian’s style of ruling appears focused on holding a few powerful people on a tight leash. He sends Yuder to kill Kishiar, forcing him to “Show me your worth, the reason I should keep the Cavalry around” (1031). Katchian relies on blackmail, on endlessly having people prove their loyalty to him, while at the same time using their actions to put “the final nail in the coffin” (815) if he desired to get rid of them.

Katchian’s entourage was filled with “many individuals who veiled their crooked ambitions as loyalty, intending to shake their own lords, and even the whole country. […] These types of individuals were loyal when their superiors followed the paths they desired. However, the moment things took a different turn, they would change their direction, claiming it was all for your sake, ready to tear your throat out.” (243) Thus it was no surprise that Katchian kept Yuder, as his most useful attack dog, on a short leash, and that Katchian, who “despised any potential threats, […] showed mercy to those who kept a low profile and collaborated.” (340)

Yuder continued to prove over and over again that he was loyal to the Emperor, yet Katchian did very little personally to repay Yuder for that. We know that Katchian did nothing to help elevate Yuder’s status in a meaningful way. Yuder was known as a “lowly commoner and an omega, treated as neither a proper man nor a woman” (999) and he was surrounded of rumors making him out to be a monster who would “cruelly use his power to kill people whenever he got angry”. (999)

At the same time, Katchian bequeathed Yuder with “with countless lands and treasures” (173), for which Yuder did not care. To outsiders, Katchian was honoring Yuder’s service in a way Yuder could not even complain about, while actually giving him very little of use. A perfect example of this is the black thornwood staff Yuder receives from Katchian.

“In fact, the item was of no use to an Awakener. Unlike mages, the Awakeners did not utilize magic power. Though it might have some use if already processed into a magic tool, in its pure magic stone form, it was merely a useless ornament. The black thornwood that held it was also not the commonly used white birch or the noble applewood favored by the Founding Emperor, but rather a wood that was prone to decay and weakness, and thus not often used in fine craftsmanship. Emperor Katchian must have known that the magic stone staff would not be of much use to Yuder. But if the Emperor had bestowed it as a symbol of the Commander of the Cavalry, such a point could not be dwelt upon.” (389)

Katchian also continuously “praised Yuder's abilities as the Empire's most valuable jewel in the presence of foreign envoys” (473), which rings hollow as Katchian praising himself for having such a useful servant.

When Yuder speaks up about the correlation between the disasters and the cracks, he is not believed by Katchian either, despite, essentially, providing at least a hint for the disasters striking the West and South, providing a starting point for researching counter measures.

It has to be noted that the other people also did not believe Yuder (Chapter 1), but the main point here, however, is that Katchian, despite Yuder’s loyalty, did not trust him.

To return to the topic of Katchian’s rule, it was to be noted that he enjoyed the lavish lifestyle of an Emperor.

“Seeing the simple yet elegant dishes made with seasonal ingredients, Yuder was reminded of the imperial cuisine he had experienced under Emperor Katchian. The food he had seen then had been uniformly large, flashy, and seasoned lavishly with expensive spices. Despite the increasing scarcity of ingredients due to ongoing climatic anomalies and disasters, Emperor Katchian had never cut corners. His extravagant imperial cuisine had quickly become symbolic of both him and the then Orr Empire.” (Chapter 471)

The people of the Orr Empire are suffering from “earthquakes, droughts, and all kinds of disasters […] and countless people dying” (301), but the Emperor throws lavish banquets and enjoys all the delicacies. It is easy to see why there were so many attempts to kill him. Yuder notes that even during banquets, where he might have been invited to as a guest, Yuder was most familiar with “the corner of the shade below the platform, where he could perfectly protect Emperor Katchian from any assassins that might suddenly barge in.” (999)

Even at the start of Katchian’s reign, years before the disasters happen, the situation is troubled. “All kinds of crimes, including human trafficking, raged out of control as illegal fighting arenas became popular among the dissolute nobles” (269). The one to deal with these issues is Yuder, though it is noted that Katchian gained “considerable fame” (269), although the novel does not elaborate whether that is because Katchian seized the assets of the nobles or because this actually helped the people. Considering what we see of his rule long-term, I would bet on the former.

Now the final question is, why did Katchian turn out this way?

If we look at Katchian’s origins, we’re faced with a child, who grew up, maybe not even in his biological father’s care, as a bastard forced to hide his identity, living not with his family’s riches, but in poverty (Chapter 630-632).

This only changes when the Diarca suddenly need a crown prince candidate. They want to establish themselves as the next imperial lineage. After succeeding to do so in the first timeline, they showed a “subtle sense of superiority […] [which] stirred considerable resentment” (148), but that doesn’t mean they actually wanted a competent emperor. For the longest time, people assumed that “Duke Diarca was the real Emperor” (166).

They want someone easily controlled and thus, most likely, also do not see the point in educating him properly. During the harvest festival, Yuder notes that “the person causing trouble around the Cavalry was Duke Diarca, even if it seemed outwardly to be the Crown Prince.” (121) While Katchian is Crown Prince, the Diarca hide many of their schemes behind his power, waiting for their chance to act. Duke Diarca at one point notes that he has more soldiers, that all the judges are paid off, he has firmly established their family as the most powerful in the Empire (Chapter 1019).

Naturally, Katchian is not content with simply being Diarca’s puppet emperor. Yuder recalls that in the “in his previous life, [Katchian] had never contradicted Diarca or acted alone until he became Emperor” (152), which implies that he was bidding his time.

While Katchian is Emperor, he is characterized as someone who cared about maintaining his position and is described as “sensitive to external recognition” (166). Yuder also notes that Katchian did pay “considerable attention to state affairs, and skillfully pacified and collaborated with the nobles. However, he was relentless if he ever suspected someone of coveting his position.” (166)

Considering all this, it paints the picture of an Emperor deeply concerned with the matters of the imperial court, while leaving little time and awareness for the Empire at large, thus resulting in the continued suffering of its citizens.

It is, however, no surprise that Katchian is so concerned with himself. Even as a prince, he was “compared to a splendid flower since his childhood for his exceptional beauty.” (121) His facial features are the only reason he ever became crown prince in the first place. They are, in a way, his only legitimacy as the crown prince selection was rigged and Keilusa’s original choice for an heir died (Chapter 169).

Duke Diarca also seeks to reaffirm this believe in Katchian as we see in this scene:

“Do you know who gave me this mirror?” “It was... I heard it was His Highness, Duke Diarca.” “Yes.” Katchian’s lips curled into a derisive smile, reflecting in the mirror. “He sent me this, telling me to reflect on my status every day.” (204)

It is thus also not surprising that Katchian “erased all traces of the entire imperial family” (347) so that not even a portrait of them could be found. It is not just that he perceived Kishiar as a threat, it gives Katchian more room to establish his own legitimacy.

Katchian early on develops a sever inferiority complex over his looks. We see this most severely in the aftermath of the assassination attempt.

“Though Katchian, the crown prince, had fully recovered from the physical wounds of the assassin's attack, his mental state had not improved at all. Every day, he lashed out and broke objects, as if his previously wicked laughter had been but an illusion. The primary cause of his madness was the unbearable scar on his face.” (303)

Katchian threatens his servants of several occasions, escalating even as far as injuring and killing them. To deal with his own mental state, he further takes drugs capable of functioning as pain killers for their “mood-enhancing effects” (205).

Of course we cannot talk about Katchian’s mental state without mentioning the Sage. The Sage’s doctrine that “the superior should punish and make [the weak] repent” (493) must have deeply appealed to Katchian. Yuder notes that “Katchian’s trust in the man had been deep at the time” (493) and that if Yuder had not connected him to the Star of Nagran, Katchian would’ve executed him. So in part, Katchian’s deteriorating mental state cannot be blamed just on himself, but also on the Sage, who manipulated him. The aftereffects of this severely impacted his relationship to Yuder as well, as he grew mistrustful of Yuder too (Chapter 136).

And now, the final nail in the coffin of Katchian’s rule: his foreign policy. While Katchian did not react appropriately to the disasters, he did try to help the West recover and initiate changes in the Empire. He poured “effort into commercial policies” (345) and began “trading with other countries much more actively for a while” (345). It is noted that this stands in direct opposition to Keilusa’s rule. It should also be pointed out here that Katchian participated in illegal trade, gaining the magic stone of the Cavalry Commander’s staff through such means (389).

Katchian’s foreign policy was protested against, but failed to achieve genuine results against his will. ‘Positively’, we have to say that Katchian at the very least did not let xenophobia stop him from trying to exploit foreign countries. Still, he feared that “envoys from other countries, including the South, might extract information about the Cavalry or the Awakener management system” (391) and thus remained wary of them and did not allow them to interact with Yuder. Had he allowed for a closer collaboration, he might have realized which Southern traders might be out to scam citizens of the empire.

However, the project failed as Katchian’s policy “didn’t bring about effective results without sufficient disaster recovery” (345). Naturally, the result was Yuder being sent out for assassinations once again.

It is, however, understandable while Katchian might try to trade with other countries, especially considering the growing influence of Nelarn. Katchian “was wary of Nelarn swallowing him up” (173), even if that never happened until Yuder died. To understand why Katchian was so scared of Nelarn, we have to take a brief look at King Ejian. Yuder describes that Ejain, upon meeting him for the first time “seemed less like a human named Ejain and more like 'the King of Nelarn' itself” (247). Few rulers managed to lead their nation well “amidst the tumultuous times.” (173)

Ejain, opposed to Katchian, fought his battle to even get the throne, his legitimacy was not an issue. He was well-admired as a king, “never committed any tyranny” (247), and even stabilized the Western countries (Chapter 277). As an Awakener too, Ejain personally was incredibly powerful. Under his rule, Nelarn grew into a power comparable to the Empire, willing to risk war with the Orr Empire (301).

Ejain going as far as sneaking somebody into the prison to break out a man convicted of high treason is nothing short than risking hostile retaliation, which means that Ejain was not only confident that Nelarn could withstand it, but also that Yuder would be worth it.

Thus Katchian’s Empire was falling apart while the neighboring country was thriving.

So where does that leave us? With a picture of a rather incompetent Emperor, who leads the Orr Empire down the path of ruin. While Katchian could have done nothing to foresee the disasters, he could have reacted more appropriately. His habit of executing everyone speaking out against him also did not help. Considering that he showed the tendencies that would later characterize his rule already early, it is no surprise that Keilusa, upon realizing his brother is healthy, started planning to give Kishiar the capability to keep Katchian in check or, if more drastic measures were required, get rid of him altogether.

Headcanon: Gooey and the Animal Friends are decently easy at forgiving ex-villains

Remember when I wrote a tumblr post about my headcanon of Bandana Waddle Dee being a big 'hater' that hasn't forgiven the ex-villain dream friends because of the trust issues that he has for them?

Well, these guys are significantly different in that regard.

When it comes to forgiving ex-villains, Gooey and the animal friends are better than most at doing that. They certainly have a much easier time forgiving people than Bandana Waddle Dee does, and it's also easier for them to forgive certain people than it is for the likes of King Dedede, Meta Knight and others. Yeah... these fellas are quite chill!

That's not to say that they don't have any wariness when meeting ex-villains, though... they will actually try to assess the person before immediately forgiving them, but they're not incredibly strict when doing these assessments, and ultimately they are no grudge-holders.

Well, maybe Gooey could be considered an exception on assessing. He's not exactly the deep thinking type. Generally speaking, he's easily influenced by Kirby and is the quickest out of these bunch to forgive someone because of that, unless by some very rare chance that the animal friends end up having doubts about someone and attempt to cajole Gooey to continue staying on the fence about it.

That hasn't been the case for any of the dream friends that used to be villains, though. The animal friends and Gooey have ended up ultimately forgiving all of the dream friends that went up against Kirby in the past, and don't hold grudges against any of them.

For the remainder of this post, I'm going to summarize how Gooey and the animal friends think of each and every of the ex-villains.

This post will be long, so I'll put a 'Keep reading' tag down below.

First, let's start with Daroach.

When Kirby had Daroach first meet Gooey and the animal friends for the first time, they forgave him easily. Hilariously enough, I headcanon that before the animal friends met Kirby, some of them used to be worse people and have, uh, committed robberies before, so it's not like they even had a lot of room to judge Daroach anyways.

Daroach has been getting along quite well with the animal friends... with Nago having used to be an exception at first. Initially, Daroach didn't exactly get along with Nago, with the reason being that the Squeaks don't like cats. For a little while at first, he'd have felt uncomfortable if Nago got too close to him or any of the other Squeaks, out of a secretive fear that he may suddenly attack them. They have been attacked by cats before, hence their dislike for them.

That definitely hasn't ever happened with Nago, though. He's a nice kitty! In my interpretation, Nago is perhaps the nicest of the animal friends, as he's very gentle and wouldn't even hurt a fly for the most part. He's never had any intention of doing anything to Daroach and the Squeaks, and once enough time has passed, they've warmed up to him just like how they've warmed up to the other animal friends.

Out of the animal friends, Rick is the one that Daroach is closest friends with. These two especially got along like a house on fire, due to both them being rodents, and that they've both got quite the knack of occasional mischievous goofiness. Daroach also has quite the liking for Kine and Coo as well, since they're also animalistic adults that aren't immune to doing some minor tomfoolery with him.

Next, let's go over how these guys handle Magolor.

Before Magolor returned to Dream Land (hah!) to make his grand apologies, King Dedede had told the animal friends and Gooey about the incident. They were all heavily freaked out by it, Coo especially.

With the information they've been given, they were admittedly cautious at first when they finally met Magolor himself. However, when Magolor expressed his regret to them about what he did, as well as the fact that both Kirby and Dedede have grown to take really well to him at the time, they've come to warm up and accept him.

Overall, Magolor is on decent terms with Gooey and the animal friends. The one he's closest friends with would be Kine, as he sometimes likes to hype Kine up as some fantastic fish that can kick ass and take names. Pitch and ChuChu also quite like Magolor, though, as they're silly kids that ask Magolor to do clever or funny things for them to see. Gooey gets a lot of head-pats from Magolor.

It also helps that in my headcanons for the events of Star Allies, there were moments where Magolor fought right alongside Rick, Kine, and Coo while they and the rest of the alliance ravaged through Jambastion. The animal trio to witness Magolor's fighting capabilities, and there was a moment where he saved Rick from a grim fiery fate in the hands of Flamberge. Thus after Star Allies, Gooey and the animal friends grew more appreciation for Magolor.

Taranza up next.

Gooey and the animal friends watched the Dreamstalk form from afar. They were highly shocked by its presence, although they did also notice Kirby flying in a warp star throughout it, assuring them that he was getting the situation taken care of like he always does. They didn't know who Taranza was until after the situation was fixed.

Some time after Triple Deluxe, Kirby introduced Taranza to the animal friends and Gooey. They were able to forgive him when he explained his actions, as well as mentioning the loss that he's recently just had.

The animal friends and Gooey.... feel really sorry for Taranza. They even told him that he's welcome to come to Dream Land and hang out with them any time if he wants to. He does end up doing that sometimes. He's come to really like these guys, as he's a fellow animal just like they are and he has a mutual interest in occasionally doing some playful messing around. They were even courteous enough to give him a visit at his home in the Floralian island of Royal Road!

Nago and ChuChu are the two animal friends that Taranza likes the most out of them. Nago gives him many soft hugs, and ChuChu is a fellow flora enjoyer with a more-than-usual amount of limbs. Taranza also comes to have quite a soft spot for Gooey, too. Hilariously enough, he wouldn't really even care if Gooey were to give him a lick!

Now let's go over Susie.

When the Access Ark made its attack on Popstar, it HORRIFIED the animal friends and Gooey as they witnessed it. However, despite the initial scare they had, they managed to successfully keep themselves sheltered during the invasion. They laid low and were lucky enough to keep themselves out of sight from any of the HWC's army. They never encountered Susie during the invasion, and thus they didn't know about her existence at the time until after Kirby resolved this crisis.

Some time after Planet Robobot, as Kirby brought Susie over to have a tour across Popstar to let everyone know that she's now his friend, he introduced her to Gooey and the animal friends. At first, they freaked out when they learned she was who instigated the invasion... but they've forgiven her when she reassured she's now Kirby's friend and won't attack Popstar ever again. These guys don't hold a grudge.

Susie didn't say it to them at first meeting, but they've eventually come to learn about her past. Needless to say, her daddy issues and ruined childhood were things that were deeply harrowing to them all.

ChuChu has grown to really like Susie a lot. Out of the animal friends, ChuChu is definitely the one that Susie is closest friends with, something about cute pink girls having cute pink girl fun. Susie also came to consider Gooey a friend, too. She isn't too close with the other animal friends, though, other than them being nice acquaintances. Susie doesn't live in Popstar, so she only sees them during her Popstar vacations, but ChuChu is always happy to see her.

Let's mention Marx next.

In my headcanons, Marx reappears in Popstar shortly before Star Allies to finally make up with Kirby. When Kirby starts to introduce Marx to all his other friends, Gooey and the animal friends were the first ones that he went to. And, well, Marx has grown to become pretty close buddies with these guys ever since he had first met them.

They had absolutely zero idea about the events of Milky Way Wishes beforehand. When they learned about it upon first meeting Marx, it barely mattered to them, since it was a long time ago by that point.

I do have a separate tumblr post that goes over Marx's dynamics with these guys, and I won't cover all that detail in here. To summarize, however, they think he's the funniest person in the universe and are willing to join him in doing sillies, but they also keep him in check from going too far in messing with others. They share a role with Magolor in acting like Marx's 'supervisors' to make sure he behaves.

That being said, Gooey and the animal friends love Marx. They enjoy spending time with him. It also helped out a lot when he often stayed right alongside Rick, Kine, Coo and Gooey during Star Allies! That was one time where they enabled all of his antics, since they were all busy fighting dirty against a doomsday cult that threatened them all.

WAVE 1 FRIENDSHIP, BABY!

Next up to go over is Dark Meta Knight.

These guys didn't meet DMK before Star Allies and had only done so afterwards. Upon first meeting them, they wondered why the hell he looked like Meta Knight so much, until it was explained to them that there's literally a mirror world where everyone has counterparts. They had literally no idea about the events of Amazing Mirror beforehand.

Out of the ex-villain dream friends, DMK is the one that has the least to do with Gooey and the animal friends. He's largely indifferent about them. They don't hold a grudge over his actions in Amazing Mirror and have technically forgiven him like Kirby did, but they themselves don't really think much about him either. DMK lives in the mirror world instead of Popstar, so he rarely sees these guys anyways.

However, one particular interaction is that they've, uh, witnessed his artistic capabilities (or lack thereof, lol). Adeleine is one of the few people that DMK is friends with, and she cajoled the animal friends and Gooey into watching him draw. They did find it to be amusing.

Now, let's go over the mage sisters and Hyness.

Considering that Rick, Kine, Coo and Gooey participated in the events of Star Allies, they experienced the cult's villainy up close.

When they fought the mage sisters, they trolled them as Marx was right alongside them to encourage them to troll the cult. However, they had a couple of really dire close calls. Rick was close to being incinerated by Flamberge (where, earlier in the post, I said that Magolor saved him from that), and Kine was very close to getting brutally electrocuted by Zan Partizanne, but luckily both situations were ultimately prevented from going horribly south for them.

The animal trio and Gooey were absolutely MORTIFIED to witness Hyness weaponizing the mage sisters and sacrificing them to Void Termina, however. It was some extremely harrowing shit that they've never experienced before. Gooey might not be the best attention-payer, but he himself was pretty dang horrified by all of these horrors.

After Heroes in Another Dimension, the animal friends and Gooey came to forgive the mage sisters and Hyness, and were glad to help make sure they got out of everything okay. Nago, ChuChu and Pitch met the cult after HiAD since they were not in the star alliance, and although they freaked the hell out when learning all the things that happened, they came to accept the cult's acquaintance as well.

That being said, despite forgiving the cult, Rick and Coo are still admittedly unnerved by the fact that Francisca vocalizes about keeping her frozen trophy collection. Not that they're seriously bothered by it, though. Kine however has grown to become legitimate friends with Francisca, as she gives him free drinks from her soda gun. Rick and Coo tell Kine to be careful when that occurs.

Between the animal friends and the mage sisters, the closest friendship out of them would be Kine and Francisca. Another notable friendship here would be Pitch and Zan Partizanne, considering that Pitch is a silly little shit that likes giving people nicknames, and he was delighted when he learned that Zan also nicknames people a lot.

Like Susie, the cult does not live in Popstar, since the Jambastion fortress is still concentrated somewhere else in the cosmos. However, also like Susie, the cult does take vacations in Popstar, so those are the occasions that Gooey and the animal friends see them.

Last, but certainly not least, let's go over the Beast Pack here.

During Forgotten Land, the animal friends and Gooey freaked out about what could've happened to Kirby, since he was sucked to somewhere else outside of the planet during the time. They were, of course, more than delighted to see he was okay at the end of it all.

These guys became fast friends with Elfilin when Kirby first introduced him to them. Elfilin isn't a part of the Beast Pack, but the reason why I mention him here is because he's how the animal friends and Gooey could visit the New World and meet the Beast Pack in the first place. He's willing to open up portals for them to welcome them to the New World. (hahahaha!! pun totally intended!!!!)

When Gooey and the animal friends met the members of the Beast Pack, it wasn't too hard to forgive them. They also expressed how they were glad that Kirby was able to save Leon and that he's okay.

The Beast Pack came to really like the animal friends. Heck... they even went as far to try to INVITE the animal friends to join the Beast Pack. The animal friends had no interest in accepting the invitation, though, but they'd have appreciated the kind gesture nonetheless.

Nago has come to really like Carol and Leon. Something about being fellow cats like he is. As a result, he's the animal friend that likes the Beast Pack the most. Well, that as well as the fact that Pitch and ChuChu think that Sillydillo is a friggin' hilarious thing that they enjoy.

That just about wraps up everything I have for this post!

Wow, this was quite a big post wasn't it? Even I didn't anticipate it being this huge. To be fair, I'm aware I can end up being kinda wordy with these posts, as I know I often put 'Keep reading' tags in them.

So, in short, Gooey and the animal friends are no grudge-holders and can easily forgive ex-villains. That being said, I also headcanon they're often bewildered by all the increasingly serious incidents in modern Kirby games, as well as freaked the hell out by all the various and insane trauma that Kirby's newer friends (Kumazaki characters) have been through. Like, bro, these guys lived more simpler lives and they can hardly fathom all the shit that the newer folks went through!

God, watched "Sins of the Father" last night and I. Just. Love. How the writers were like, "Ah, yes, let's finish out this episode with the most violent upheaval of Arthur's relationship with Uther. There is no need to mention this again."

Like, yeah, I get it, Merlin lied and stopped Arthur from killing King Cunt, but STILL. It happened. Arthur and Uther have had disagreements before, but those were small potatoes. Arthur challenged his father, the King, to a fight to the death. He was actively trying to kill his father. And that....had no effect on him? Or Uther?

Arthur doesn't always agree with Uther, and he does disobey him when he has to, but I don't think he ever would imagine himself capable of hurting his father, let alone killing him.

And Uther, being the manipulative, abusive piece of shit he is, was probably 100% certain Arthur would never turn on him, the same way any abusive parent is confident in their power over their victim.

But it happened.

yes bestie so true, we have seen in s1 and s2 that arthur is capable of having a little rebellious streak but not enough to truly slight his father because (despite his shitty and abusive uther is) arthur still loves him. arthur has craved uther's approval since day one. all he gets from uther is stunted shoulder pats and "you're my son" kind of affection. which, you know, explains SO MUCH about why arthur is emotionally constipated, compensates his emotions into hyper-masculinity, and a grade A jock.

we know arthur seeks uther's approval and just wants uther to be proud of him. motherfucker (uther) literally in episode 2 of s1 "stops by Arthur on his way to the stands and speaks to him in a low voice" about he "trust [Arthur] will make [him] proud" like bitch???? way to stress out your child.

tips on how to emotionally abuse/keep your child wanting you love

always makes sure you pressure them into making you proud

place conditions on your love (trust = love = pride for son = no longer disappointed = no longer sees arthur as the cause of ygraine's death oop did i type that)

move them away and speak in a low threatening voice because self image matters and your child would never risk that

undermine your child's worth to exterior factors, aka things your child never had a say in (being a captain/high ranking knight at 15, being the son of your dead wife, telling them to grow up when they literally are acting their age)

enforcing patriarcal ideals such as only encouraging stoicism for arthur because feelings are for weaklings and dismissing morgana's opinions for 'outbursts'

uther, the caricature of the british empire himself, caused the death of his queen then turned around and blamed a whole community of innocent people because "magic is evil and shouldn't be trusted" and "when you know one sorcerer, you know them all"

arthur, daddy issues galore, is understandably pissed and enraged. why, you ask? because for years he believed it was his birth that led to his mother's death

do you think....after arthur learned the truth, he remembered all of morgana's old arguments that went ignored by uther? he could hear her voice, filled with self-righteousness and selfless anger about how uther always placed the blame on others, projected fear and hatred to those who were innocent. do you wonder if arthur thought of morgana as he spewed those words to uther?

and then he is told that morgause lied to him. that the ygraine he saw was actually an illusion meant to divide camelot. arthur is told that the ygraine he saw who told him that holding him was "the most precious" moments of her life was nothing more than a lie.

so, what does mean for arthur? does that mean that it truly was his fault that ygraine died? does he go back to blaming himself?

is there still that doubt of his father's ruling that lays restless inside of him? does he watch his father more closely and how he reacts to magic crimes compared to non-magical? does he begin to confide in morgana more because she, too, understand this kind of anger he feels nestled inside of him?

but we don't get that

what we get after this is a week or maybe more of a time skip where gwen is kidnapped and the show tries to further the arwencelot love triangle (and i mean, i'm not against the love triangle, it's just...timing my dude)

it just goes ignored by the show like it wasn't a big deal that arthur was ready to commit regicide (unlike morgana), like it wasn't a big deal that merlin lied to arthur like that and didn't feel conflicted, like it wasn't a big deal that uther's Purge began because of misplaced anger.

no, instead, arthur is back as his snarky and uptight self who never again thinks back to what happened when some big plot is heading his way. and so the show never dives back into that. mentions of arthur's mother don't come back until s4 but that's with agravaine and i do not have the time for that man.

this episode really seemed like it was supposed to lead to a shift in arthur's character, and yet it didn't. it was just...never touched on again and i will never forgive them for that

Random Kirby Headcanon #13

Bandee has trust issues and is generally a little bit prickly. He’s extremely protective of the people he likes, but good luck getting him to warm up to you in the first place, especially if you’ve done something to harm him or his friends in the past.

Needless to say, he’s not the biggest fan of the ex-villainous Star Allies, and does not have a lot of faith in their willingness to do good.

Magolor broke his trust and made Kirby cry. Taranza kidnapped his beloved king. Susie left Dedede buried under a pile of rubble and tried to brainwash Meta Knight.

And Marx… do I even really need to explain Marx?

He’s okayish with the Mage Sisters. They didn’t personally victimize him in the same way. I think more than anything he feels a reluctant pity for them, but will also eye them up suspiciously if it seems they’re doing anything nefarious.

His standoffish nature can get him into trouble sometimes, and a great example is what happened between him and Elfilin. When Elfilin first arrived in Waddle Dee Town Bandee thought something about the situation was weird, and when the Beast Pack kidnapped all of the Dees he feared his suspicions had been confirmed. He was CERTAIN Elfilin deliberately led the Beast Pack to them and had some kind of secret motive.

Elfilin was very hurt. Bandee didn’t mean to be a bully or anything, of course, but his experiences with having his trust broken in the past made him stubbornly perceive Elfilin in only one way.

The two of them didn’t really actively fight— Elfilin isn’t the argumentative type and Kirby wouldn’t have allowed it anyways, but Bandee made it plenty clear he didn’t feel comfortable with Elfilin around and warned Kirby to keep an eye on him. Elfilin was sad, because he didn’t even understand what exactly he was doing wrong.

When Elfilin was kidnapped, though, everything changed. Suddenly, Bandee realized that this situation probably wasn’t exactly what he thought it was, and started to feel bad. He… really had been kind of mean to Elfilin, hadn’t he? Suddenly, he missed his company. He hoped they’d be able to rescue Elfilin so he could apologize.

And they were! Eventually, the Beast Pack and Fecto Elfilis were defeated, saving the day. But soon afterwards, Elfilin approached Bandee alone with tears in his eyes.

He said that Bandee had been right the whole time. He really was a monster, wasn’t he? A piece of something so evil, terrifying and cruel.

Bandee felt awful. He fully understood that the Elfilis situation wasn’t Elfilin’s fault and didn’t blame him, but of course Elfilin would feel frightened and insecure with everything he just learned about himself.

He reassured Elfilin. He told him that, no, he was wrong, and the way he treated Elfilin had been unfair. He told him he WAS NOT a monster and he hoped he could forgive him. He didn’t mean to make things so bad.

From there, they made amends. It took a while for them to warm up to each other entirely, but now they’re good friends. Bandee has gone from being suspicious of Elfilin to being protective of him.

Oh shit I didn't expect to actually get one ok. I don't talk about my ocs much here so I'll just choose Glimmer Knight for this I've been thinking about him a lot recently anyways

Glimmer Knight is a heart matterborn (A concept I borrowed from Gethoce because it was really cool) (I'm essentially saying he's the same species as Kirby and Meta Knight), and compared to the wings they usually have, he has fucked up tendrils on his back that attach and form into wings when needed

As for which dream friend they would get along with most? I'd say maybe Bandana Dee because he is instinctively protective towards Waddle Dees (his deceased friend is one) and respects his dedication and loyalty. As for the least... Their whole thing is that they have a one-sided rivalry with Kirby (that Kirby is 100% clueless about) and they keep getting their shit kicked in every time and it enrages him. He also probably has issues trusting Magolor after The Incident but is getting around

DotS Character Facts— Twyla

Twyla, the protagonist of Dreams of the Stars, and quite the enigma!

She's a spirited young girl with a soft voice, but plenty of sass underneath her usually calm demeanor. She's introverted and a bit shy at first, but she does her best to be friendly towards others. The girl's got absolute audacity and has no qualms questioning adults and their logic. She herself thinks critically, and lacks a filter for her thoughts most of the time.

At first, Twyla's really adverse to making new friends due to a sad experience with her previous caretaker and knight-master, Poppeh, but in recent times has begun warming up to it again. Most notably thanks to Fintan Blon'dee, who's now her best friend. He's essentially her extrovert pal, and was absolutely adopted by him. He's just a year older than her at 12!

Twyla's incredibly loyal to those who earn her trust, and will go to great means to ensure their safety, despite being an 11-year-old Puff child.

There's not much known about her past, but what is certain are some intriguing details:

Twyla has a striking resemblance to a certain someone from Meta Knight's past. This has caused him to re-spark an old obsession, going back to searching high and low for answers regarding that person's fate.

She has strange abilities for a Dream Puffball, able to manipulate her own Ability in unusual ways. Nevertheless a strange marking on her right paw which appears to be key for a certain power of hers: something Meta Knight coined as "Rebound", due to its similar nature to Copy. One would first think it's strange that Meta Knight knows so much about Rebound, but then again, he's the guy who knows everything anyhow, so it's really no surprise.

Her acid green eyes are terrifying to see in the dark, especially since she's at the age where they glow pretty brightly at night.

Twyla was raised on stories of the Star Warriors, and so is quite a fan of a few. However Poppeh was bad at remembering most names, so he had his own titles for these intrepid heroes. This has left Twyla to discover her greatest heroes through their histories rather than their names.

Twyla has a 'pet' ethereal butterfly, which has been her companion since she was an infant. She calls it by the name "Pops", among other nicknames.

Her starship, when in good condition, is devastatingly fast and nimble. It's designed to cloak itself entirely, and is chock full of tricks and traps for possible assailants. The ship's objective has always been to protect its pilot, so this made rescuing Twyla next to impossible due to its evasive protocols. However, there was one person who almost captured the ship many, many years ago...

Twyla was never taught how to swim. However, she's buoyant, and floats like a confused little birdie. Now that she's under the care of Rovy, Alphonse, and their pal Pepper, she might get the chance to learn!

She's still learning a lot about her own people, and is very excited to meet new Puffs! During her travels, she had never met one of her kind due to their scarcity. However, on Popstar, they've amassed in abundance! She's become fast friends with Kirby especially, alongside some other oddball Lost Stars (orphan Puffs) under Lillian's care.

Twyla's fur is very soft like kitten fur, but she's also is kinda touchy about being hugged or held by people she doesn't know.

Despite having trust issues, she's still learning about stranger danger, and lacks the social skills to tell a good person from bad due to her own lack of socialization in her earlier years.

So what advice or resources would you give a writer for a character with DID. I did read your meta on Moon Knight, which made me remember a character I was trying to craft named Angel who had DID, but as I could never figure out a way to write it properly I put her on the backburner shelf and kinda forgot about her.

Thanks so much for the questions! This is so cool!

I would say the biggest thing people don't realize when creating/writing a character with DID is you can't create/write just the one. This is different than schizophrenia where the voices or hallucinations your character interacts with are ultimately not real. This would be a singular body that inhabits multiple characters.

And all of these characters are not less of an individual individually! Lol That might be a little hard to understand.

What I mean is, just because a group of individuals is strongest when working together, it doesn't mean one individual becomes less of a person outside of that group.

Not all the alters need to be main characters or anything, but they should be treated as though they have as much autonomy as any other side character. And any alters you make main characters deserve their own character arcs.

But also remember that anything that would impact the body or brain of your character impacts all of the other characters. But you can have them interact with those impacts differently.

Ex. If one is hard of hearing, they all are. They have the same brain and ears. But some of them may like to wear hearing aids, and some of them might not.

You can have psychosomatic things. So one alter can have something like a stutter. Or a limp. Or certain dietary restrictions. But always remember not everything can be psychosomatic.

Also your side, or other main characters, shouldn't be at the beck and call of your other character. If anything, because that's boring and lazy story telling! Don't have the alter characters just around whenever it's convenient for your character. Have them make conflicting plans. Have them show up unannounced. Have them be unreachable when the character needs them most. But also have them assist with missions. Or help solve a mystery. Or take care of something ahead of time.

This is a big reason why we enjoyed Moon Knight. It's not a perfect representation. And it has some major downfalls. But Marc and Steven are two separate characters! They have different wants and needs, and one isn't more deserving than the other of getting those wants and needs! They can oppose each other. They can disapprove of each other's actions. And they can love each other. They can want the best for each other. And in the end, it's not about one of them disappearing for the benefit of the other, or staying around because the other wouldn't be a person without them. They are whole people individually who are happiest when they are together and working as a team!

Of course in real life not all alters in a system are "full people". Some are fragments. But unless you're trying to do a deep dive into DID, and showing everything about it, you don't need to add in types of alters you don't understand. Any character you write into your story should be there to move your plot along in a productive way. If you start sticking in characters you don't understand as the writer, the reader isn't going to understand them either.

My best suggestion would be to focus on the basics that you know, and don't infer anything you don't have to. If it sounds physically impossible, it probably is. So don't use it. Ask someone you trust with DID or a professional in the subject for any specifics you want to add.

I'm sure there are more detailed posts that get very specific. I don't have any good resources off the top of my head.

Biggest difference between DID and other forms of plurality I think is memory issues. Your character should not always be fronting, and when they come back they should have no idea what happened in between those times. (Although with context clues you can sometimes get a decent idea.) Sometimes even with co-fronting, you may forget something you just did. Similar to when you walk into a room and forget why you walked in there. I'm not a professional, so I don't know much about any different forms of plurality. I only know ours from experience. Sorry!

I hope this helps! I tried to take this from a building a character standpoint, rather than a teaching about DID standpoint. So if you want more of that version, tell me! i think frankie has HUGE meta comic potential. the thing about Frances Kane is that She Is In A Superhero Comic So Regardless of Her Desires She Will Be Put Into Situations That Require Her To Use Her Powers, because otherwise she wouldn't be in a superhero comic. i want to explore her reaction to realizing a functional law of her reality (genre) is making it impossible to live a normal life. im not sure quite HOW meta i want it to be (should she become aware of the Author? or just genre conventions?) but the understanding that her return to hero or villain work is inevitable so long that she lives [in a comic] is essential.

you are picking HARD ONES for me key! the thing about me is that my memory is weirdly fickle. i think honestly though we have to move out of dc comics for it. its the main plotline over in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. our protag zayne (notoriously bad at things) is framed for the murder of his friends by [REDACTED] and has to prove his innocence. i really recommend even just the first issue, that comic did things to me and i am always thinking of that breach in trust. sorry its not a superhero answer but i must remain true to myself <3

Miscellaneous Kirby Headcanon time!

• Dedede has depression, and stole all the food because he thought it might help him feel better. It did not. His friendship with Kirby helped him climb out of that though, game by game. He still has self esteem issues, but he's doing a lot better

• On that note, the food crisis really messed up Dreamland for a while, long enough to still be relevant during super star (ultra), and it still affected areas of Dreamland even after stuff started growing again. So, Marx, decided that if he ruled Popstar, he wouldn't be hungry ever again, because then people would be bringing him food.

• Kirby and Marx were already friends, which is why he was so chill being in ksa. The "keep him well fed" thing was half joking, because the food crisis is over, now Marx getting hangry is an inside joke between them

• Flamberge, Magolor, Marx, Taranza, and Francisca are besties dude

Now watch me scream about my fave character ok ready:

• Magolor has depression too, and it got worse when he became infatuated with the master crown, because it consumed his mind, and being that it's made of Dark Matter, that was Not Helping his mental health.

• The crown didn't possess him until the very end of it all, in his last phase. Before then, his judgment was heavily influenced, and he felt like he couldn't disobey the crown, but he wasn't being directly controlled until then

• After his defeat, he says he never wanted this, and that after he got to know Kirby and Co., he tried to give up on the plan, but found himself going through with it regardless.

• Again, the crown had it's grubby little spikes in his brain far before he was fully possessed, he tried to throw away the plan but just Couldn't

• The crew forgives him at their own pace, Kirby immediately, then Bandee, then Dedede. Meta Knight takes a while to come around, as he didn't really trust him to begin with, but actions speak louder than words, and Magolor is nothing but good to the gang (if not still a prankster who likes to tease them)

• He honestly feels horrible about his actions, and tries to cover it up with humor. He gets frequent migraines, specifically in the places where the crown dug into his skull.

Headcanon: Bandana Waddle Dee is a really big hater

Bandana Waddle Dee, despite being a main character in the Kirby series nowdays, doesn't have much of a personality in game canon. I've had little to no investment in him for my headcanons until I discovered the idea made by some others of him being a really big hater. I decided to adopt that into my headcanon world and now I'm willing to discuss my thoughts.

Everything below at this point is purely my headcanons, my interpretations.

Bandana Dee is super, super, super loyal to Kirby, King Dedede and Meta Knight. He's so loyal to them, to the point he just lowkey never forgives the ones that went against them. He has trust issues.

That means he hates half of the dream friends. Literally... lmao. Even to this day, when he sees them, he'll stare daggers at them and tightly grip his spear, sometimes pointing it at them. He may also often berate them, too.

Bandana Dee, to this day, still hates Magolor, Taranza, Susie, Marx, Dark Meta Knight and the Mage Sisters. Heck, even Daroach isn't entirely off the hook for Bandee.

Yes, you heard that right, Taranza still isn't forgiven by Bandee, despite being forgiven by almost everyone else at this point. That will be explained more down below.

But first, we'll start with Magolor. Kirby and Dedede have long forgiven Magolor, heck even Meta Knight eventually forgave him after needing time to do so... but Bandana Dee still never has. For him, personally, that betrayal hit way too hard.

It doesn't matter how apologetic Magolor seems, Bandee doesn't forgive him. In fact, Bandee thinks Magolor is just playing everyone like a fiddle again, just far more slowly this time. He thinks all of Magolor's actions to make up for his betrayal, including his amusement park, are all just a facade. It makes him sick to his stomach that Kirby just fully embraces and acts buddy-buddy with Magolor. When Kirby isn't looking, Bandee will menacingly glare at Magolor, warning him that he better not try anything.

Magolor isn't really sure why Bandee still doesn't forgive him. He tries to act nice to him and sometimes even tries to give him a pat on the head, but Bandee doesn't let him get close enough to do it and instead he just threatens to spear him in the face. Magolor tries to do funny things in front of Bandee to see if that'd make him change his mind, but it doesn't work.

Now, we get to Taranza next. Oooh boy. Dedede being kidnapped was, personally, an incredibly traumatic experience for Bandee. Especially when he couldn't save him at the time. It made him hold a literal vendetta against Taranza. He berated him a LOT for it. The incident made him so damn mad lmao.

Dedede long forgave Taranza and became his friend. Bandee thought that was a dumb idea and he'd still stare daggers at the spider. Dedede sometimes invites Taranza over to his castle, but there are times where Bandee makes that a pain in the ass. Dedede has to be like "chill out, little buddy!" but lmfao he just doesn't. He's such a lapdog to Dedede.

Taranza has no idea why Bandee still hates him. In fact, every time Bandee berated him, he'd just sit there and take it instead of defending himself. It sometimes makes him nervous. Bandee just facepalms when it happens, knowing that Taranza once wronged his king and now turns around and acts pathetic, basically playing victim.

Admittedly, Bandee's hatred of Taranza did tone down a bit over time, but he still doesn't forgive him. He does, however, have some reluctant pity when Dedede sat him down and explained to him about Taranza's history and actions. But overall, there's still a distrust that he can't shake.

Okay, Susie next. No surprise here... if both Magolor and Taranza still aren't forgiven by Bandee, then Susie clearly didn't stand a chance of being forgiven by him either. He basically despises her. Dedede's castle being destroyed as well as the whole Mecha Knight ordeal just made Bandee so damn livid lmao.

Post-Robobot, Kirby reconciled with Susie and became friends with her. That did pretty much nothing to change Bandee's mind about her. In fact, he thinks Kirby made a poor decision to have done that. He doesn't like it whenever Kirby goes to visit Susie at her home area.

Meta Knight still hasn't truly forgiven Susie, but his distaste for her has slowly chipped away over time as he's allowed Kirby to be her friend. Bandee hates her more than Meta does at this point, lmao.

Susie made it clear that she means no harm to Popstar ever again. Most of Popstar is fine with her at this point. Funny enough, she's not terribly bothered by Bandee still hating her. Honestly, she thinks it's cute. Many other waddle dees get along well with her, so she's kind of amused to see this particular dee just give her the death stare every time he sees her. Her reactions to Bandee's glare just make him even more suspicious, but Kirby tells him to not worry about it, as she means no harm.

Now we talk about Marx. LMAO! Bandee wasn't even there for what Marx did, and he only heard about the Milky Way Wishes events secondhand, but he's still been made very upset at the fact that Marx pulled a betrayal on Kirby like Magolor did. And that Marx hasn't been nearly as apologetic as Magolor has. He doesn't understand why Kirby decided to accept Marx as a friend afterwards!

Marx gets delighted whenever Bandee would stare daggers at him and berate him. He can't prevent himself from laughing when it happens. He loves the negative attention that Bandee gives him. Marx ends up pranking Bandee a lot as he thinks it's hilarious to get him all riled up. It often results in fights breaking out between these two, with Marx causing Bandee to snap.

Because of this, despite not being there for the Milky Way Wishes events, Bandee hates Marx just as much as the wave 3 trio. Potentially even more, considering how Marx reacts to his glare compared to the others.

At this point, I don't think I even need to explain why Bandee despises Dark Meta Knight. You pretty much got the idea already. DMK doesn't give a single shit about Bandee hating him, he thinks that Bandee (much like most of Kirby's other friends) isn't worth a passing thought.

Even though Bandee assisted in saving the Mage Sisters, he still doesn't like them afterwards. I headcanon that even after HiAD, the Mage Sisters are still very chaotic people... I mean, they're still cultists. Bandee would still prefer to not be near them. Francisca's frozen corpse collection still makes him very uncomfortable.

Bandee isn't as hard on Daroach as he is with the others, but he's still not really a fan of the rat. Daroach is still a thief, he just won't try anything near Kirby. Bandee is aware of this and will still give him the stink-eye, telling him he better not try anything near him. Daroach likes Bandee and is amused by his temperament.

Of course, Bandee loves the ones that were never bad in the first place. He adores the animal friends, Gooey, Adeleine, Ribbon and Elfilin. But he's so loyal to the other main 3 that he just really struggles to forgive the ones that went against them.

And that's all I need to explain for my interpretation of Bandana Waddle Dee! I think he's way more fun when he's just a massive hater of half the dream friends, lmao.

Aqua is the hero, they call him the Blue Buccaneer and he uses a bubble gun and a giant bubble wand. He's a complete goody two shoes and a himbo, super considerate and sweet, trusting to a fault.

Crimson is the villain, he's a wizard using illegal means to search for an ancient artifact said to control the flow of time. He's very grouchy and mean and abrasive, but underneath all that he has a heart.

Speculo is the vigilante. Aspiring fashion designer by day and mischievous injustice fighter by night, Speculo leads the charge in the search for Polly's parents. He has powers based on mirrors and reflection, I took inspo from the mirror power up from Kirby as well as some of Meta Knight's aesthetic and ability (the whole thing is heavily inspired by Kirby).

And then of course you have Polly Dallas, whose parents went missing shortly after a scuffle between Aqua and Crimson. She's super energetic and sweet, and it's clear she loves her dads very much. She's a creative and smart kid too, a lot craftier than the trio gives her credit for.

This is an amazing technology that will revolutionize the digital world. In this article, I will talk about the Big Metaverse platform, the newly discovered decentralized Metaverse ecosystem powered by users on blockchain technology.

Facebook changed the name of the organization to Meta, the term Metaverse became an interesting issue. While it may sound confusing from the start, gamers have become involved with the Metaverse idea for their number of gaming professions.

If you've been a gamer your whole life, the idea of a metaverse might sound natural to you. All MMORPGs and other pretend games have their own universe where players can investigate, make friends, and even shop from NPCs in exchange for the standard in-game monetary. But most of these games don't require a VR headset, they also have their own metaverse ideas. Games like World of Warcraft, Knight Online, Pokémon welcome players to visit their dreamland, and the current metaverse idea hopes to achieve something nearly identical while focusing on the corners of the original.

How the Big Metaverse works

I am sure that when it launches, there will be a lot of interest in this project because this project has a solid and reliable team structure. This project is one of the most creative and revolutionary of all! pleasures that I would be wary of. In my opinion, one of the best projects.

Most of us already know blockchain technology as the core foundation of the crypto ecosystem. The versatile features associated with this technology have led to the popularity of cryptocurrencies attracting not only a loyal user base but also institutional investors and large corporations. But blockchain is not limited to just cryptocurrencies, it can cause a paradigm shift in almost every industry related to information storage and data protection as it has the ability to decentralize operations without relying on any authority to control data.

This project, and the team have built a strong community with great potential. Lucky project. Great project with a really cool idea! I believe in their success.
