Grey’s Anatomy verse information
Steve has arrived in Seattle and hasn’t long moved into his new place there when he realizes there is something wrong. When he had escaped from his car before it exploded, he was thrown by force when it when up in flames. He didn’t think he was that hurt until waking up in agony here in Seattle.
(He could either make his own way to the hospital, or ends up passing out and your character happens to be around. We can discuss this.)
Other medical shows: This information could work for any other medical shows, obviously with a different place to Seattle.

In search of safety
I haven't gotten around to writing the royalty update on my last lore bit, but I wanted to start on where my oc comes into play. Not entirely self-insert, this AU has storytelling background based in very old role playing from upwards of 10 years ago.
Here are some notes on how this pairing came to be:
This AU takes place after an alternate ending to the Canterlot Wedding (not my writing, the original rp was not something I had any say in at the time. The following is based off very old Tenebris Dawn forum posts)
-Cadance and Shining Armor did not stay together after Queen Chrysalis's takeover. Shining failed to rise to the occasion in her defeat and was quickly denied at the altar. Cadance was disappointed in how things played out, and sought out solitude after the traumatic experience. Shining Armor left to stay with Twilight after these events.
-Twilight was tired of Shining's depressed freeloading and pushed him to socialize around ponyville and find some friends. Word had gotten around as to why he was here, and it quickly turned away a lot of potential companions. He did find his place with Big Mac, Spike and Discord after awhile.
-Feather Blade originated in the Everfree forest. (her lore has changed to match her form as a pegasus but this was all written in 2014) She was (possibly) left at Zecora's hut as a newborn and grew up learning the ways of the forest from a very young age. Made friendly with the timber wolves, understands many basic to advanced survival skills, and gained a well fitted immune system for life in the woods.
-Being somepony detached from petty pony drama, Feather was completely unaware of Shining's late status and relationship history. He was enamored by her lifestyle, being someone who grew up in a more upper class environment. They bonded after many of his attempts to flatter her, and eventually he took to staying in her hut more often than staying with Twilight.
-Feather didn't initially have a proper understanding of romance, but she knew what emotional abuse was. (was held captive as a slave "lover" by a stallion with a darkened heart, also directly based off 2014 rps) Whatever Shining was, he wasn't a threat or a burden. She didn't understand what she felt for him until after a widespread infection broke loose. She's been working hard to keep him safe ever since.
-Shining has done his best to keep Feather protected, but hasn't had much strength since getting bitten by some strange creature. Feather was able to collect some supplies to keep them both healthy shortly before the hut was overrun. She keeps him medicated, and no infection has taken root. They're both currently on the move to find shelter and refuge in a safer area of Equestria.
-Feather and Shining have only briefly made contact with Discord prior to him taking off with Fluttershy. Nopony else knows their whereabouts. The two of them have avoided most populated areas in trying to steer clear of infected. Feather has been able to take sky watch for short periods of time to see if areas of civilization are safe, but quickly returns to stay with Shining. So far their travels have yielded no reward, but hope is not lost.

my roleplay information/application!
hey guyssss, so like i'm kinda desperate for rp partners so i'm just gonna try my luck here and see if any of y'all are interested in rping with me! feel free to read through this information and message me if you are interested!! as long as you meet my requirements, i would love to rp with you!!
basic information
i am 18 (19 in a few weeks) and i'm okay rping with any age, but i will not rp anything relating to nsfw with a minor. not even implied nsfw, it's just very uncomfortable. but if you're 18+, i'll rp anything on this list with you!
i only rp semi-lit/descriptive. this means at least five sentences, detailed responses that aren't just surface level. it's hard to respond to stuff that's lazy, so please please please just put in the effort if you want high quality responses in return!
the fandoms i roleplay are sanders sides, undertale, your turn to die, and omori. i dabble in oc rp, but it's not very common for me since i don't really have many ocs that i like enough to rp with.
my favorite types of roleplay are heavy angst and whump. i love really dark concepts, and it's rare that i won't do something that's dark and angsty. i struggle with concepts that are just fluff because i prefer rps with a lot of conflict and struggle.
my only triggers are constant discussion about body type/comparing body types and descriptive talk of medical needles. other than that i will do literally anything lol.
i am filipino-american, audhd, physically disabled, and i love to incorporate these aspects of my identity into the characters i play. if you don't like that, we probably won't make very good rp partners.
i hate hate HATE poking. please don't remind me of the rp after ten minutes of me not responding. please don't remind me of the rp after ten HOURS of me not responding. i know it exists, i just need time to reply. if you nag me about responding, i probably will wait even longer to reply because it's intimidating.

sanders sides specific information
the main side i love to play is roman. i will always want to play roman in every single tss rp, he's just me, he's my number one homie, my favorite character of all time.
i can also play any of the other sides, but my characterization for them is not as solid as roman.
i don't really like patton in roleplays unless he's a minor character or an antagonist/villain. i am very good at playing patton as a villain, but i don't really like playing him in any other context. i have so many aus where patton is a villain or antagonist, so if that's your jam, you've come to the right place!
i will do mindscape or human aus, i love both!
i am okay with ocs but i will not do canon side x female oc. it just makes me very uncomfortable to ship sides with female characters.
some of my favorite ships are roceit, prinxiety, logince, anaroceit, analogical, intrulogical, and loceit.
the only ships i WILL NOT do are moxiety, royality, moceit, logicality, intruality, and remrom. every other ship, i'm completely okay with.
i love rping as remy or emile picani!!
i have SO MANY IDEAS for this fandom. like literally hundreds of aus. so please message me if you want to rp anything with angst, or drama, or anything like that because i have SO MUCH.
undertale specific information
so fun fact i'm actually kind of bad at undertale rp.
it's not that i'm awful i just don't have a lot of experience, but i'm working on it!
the main characters i like to play are papyrus, undyne, alphys, toriel, asgore, and gaster.
i can also play asriel/flowey, sans, frisk, mettaton, grillby, and chara if necessary.
i am totally fine with ocs, bring them on!
i don't really like rps with the au sans stuff? nothing against it, i just don't really know much about it and in the nicest way possible i don't really care. i prefer to stick with canon and prequel/sequel aus instead of aus that change up the characters' personalities and stuff.
my favorite undertale au of all time is handplates i have so many thoughts about it and i would love to rp it!
i love angsty rps but undertale is actually one of the only fandoms where i love to rp fluff for it. undertale is just such a goofy game and i love emulating that style of humor in rp!
ships i enjoy are soriel, papyton, alphyne, sansby, and whatever the ship name for alphys x gaster is?
the only undertale ships i WILL NOT rp are anything involving the child characters (frisk, chara, asriel, monster kid), and anything that ships undyne with a guy. i'm also not a huge fan of asgore x toriel but i'll do it if you really want me to!
your turn to die specific information
i am so new to rping in this fandom but i really want to anyway!! trust, i know all the lore, i just need some solid experience!
my favorite characters to play are jou, reko, nao, gin, kai, shin, hiyori, and sara.
i will play q-taro, mishima, or alice if necessary!
i am very bad at keiji, i don't think i can play him well.
i love canon and au roleplays equally! i would love to do either way!
i like pretty much all the ships, it would be easier to list ships i don't like.
i don't like any ships that involve the little kids (kanna, gin, hinako), any ships with a huge age gap (especially sara x keiji), and shin x hiyori. it's just...no.
omori specific information
i am very new to the fandom, so please have mercy on me if i get something wrong lol!
my favorite characters to play are kel, hero, aubrey, and mari!
i can play sunny if necessary.
i will not play basil. i actually don't like basil being present in roleplays, he's just a character i personally dislike. i'm fine with him showing up occasionally as a minor character, but i just don't like him being a big part of roleplays.
i will roleplay canon and aus! i love both! but bear in mind i am a bit more hesitant to rp ships in canon, but in aus i have zero reservations!
my favorite ships are anything involving sunny, kel, and aubrey being together, but my number one otp is hero x mari!
the only ships i WILL NOT do are ships that have basil in them, especially basil x sunny or basil x kel. they just don't sit right with me personally.
i don't really know much about the minor characters of the game...i might need a bit of guidance if you want to use a character that isn't a part of the main six! but i am completely fine with it as long as you're okay with me being a bit clueless.
writing samples!!!
The streets were soft, the dusty sidewalks concealed by powdery snow that made Brooklyn look like a wedding. Roman stepped lightly, wondering how high he would have to hold himself to keep his foot from sinking in the snow, ruining the shiny white blanket that protected his bare feet from the cruel asphalt.
His book remained tucked under his jacket, as if it needed protection from the biting wind. Roman didn’t think it was possible for something that carried such beautiful notions and ideas to be unfeeling, so he acted as though there was a beating heart somewhere between the pages. Nobody had ever told him there wasn’t one, so what was the harm in believing if it made the sky feel brighter, and the air feel warmer, and the world feel more connected?
When he came back to the small, tucked-away alley that he and his brothers were currently living in, he was happy to see a little fire that he could warm himself beside while he opened his new book, aching to see what was inside.

"Protect...me?"
Roman was unfamiliar. He was always used to protecting other people. He was tall, graceful and beautiful. Couldn't really throw a punch, but he had a way with his words that could get him absolutely anything he wanted. Including peace. He was used to standing between bullies and victims, seducing with his sweet smile and long eyelashes. Making anybody feel like they've been blessed just looking at him. With his parents always gone, and nobody to hold him during nightmares, Roman had gotten used to holding himself.
But now, he just wanted to be protected so badly. He wanted to be truly loved by somebody besides himself.
"Okay..." he whispered, "Okay."

"Oh! Do you guys want to go to that restaurant across the street?" Patton asked, "We performed so well tonight, I think we all deserve a treat! Virgil, you hit that syncopation perfectly, and Janus, that riff was amazing! The crowd went wild for us! Drinks will be on me, as long as you all promise not to drink too much. I'll be the designated driver too. What do you say??"
Of course, this invitation was not extended to Logan. Patton didn't even notice Logan in the area, assuming that he was off sweeping the stage or packing up the van. Patton was the one who decided what everybody did, and he usually gave Logan the grease-work like that. He didn't really care very much about Logan, just because Logan wasn't as close to the group. There wasn't that bond of performing show after show, having fans that requested autographs, being followed and gushed over by paparazzi.
Since Logan was never onstage, nobody knew the face or identity of the man who wrote the songs that all these fans were so crazy about. And Patton sort of preferred it that way. He didn't really like the idea of Logan being a face of their band. Unlike Janus and Virgil, Patton wasn't sure how the public eye would recieve Logan. The man wasn't remotely ugly, but he was rather plain-looking. He tended to blend into the background of the rooms he occupied. He wasn't the type of look one would expect to be in a hugely successful band.
All the others had their "niche". Patton was the sweetheart, the nice one, the innocent one. Virgil was the quiet, brooding, mysterious one. And Janus was the charmer, able to seduce anyone with a wink and a smile. What was Logan? He didn't talk very much, he wasn't particularly nice, brooding, or seductive. Patton didn't like that Logan didn't exactly have an archetype. He didn't quite fit in.

Roman tilted his head with a polite smile and an appropriate amount of interest as Logan disclosed his name. It was nothing familiar to him, but he did think it was a beautiful-sounding name. He always loved when people's first and last names started with the same letter. It felt like a name out of a fairy-tale when it had that feature.
Listening to what Logan was saying, Roman couldn't help but go red, very embarrassed. He was bad at English, but he certainly wasn't stupid. He could tell that Logan was euphemizing heavily in order to preserve Roman's feelings, which made Roman both embarrassed that Logan felt the need to do this, and honored that Logan cared so much about how he felt. It was a really sweet gesture, honestly.
"You write music too?" he asked, very curious. "I would love to sing a song by you wrote. You will...pay me? Money?"
Roman wondered if Logan was offering him a job, or just wanting to have a jam session as friends and colleagues. He would be happy with either option, but he wanted to manage his expectations there and then, so there would be less awkwardness from false assumptions.

Roman looked at it and smiled as he read through the lyrics, his eyes carefully scanning from left to right as he ingested each lyric. His smile only grew.
"It is okay," he said, "I like messy handwriting. It means...it means your brain moves fast, and your hand must hurry to follow. I like this song. I think...I want to sing it. Do you want me to sing here? In front of everyone?"
Roman would definitely be willing to give Logan's song some publicity. And he adored the thrill of singing a song for the first time in front of a whole crowd of people. Roman wasn't the type to get stage fright. The more risky a performance was, the more excited he was to try and execute it. Roman had a bit of a shame deficiency, such was obvious with him singing those lyrics he wrote out loud multiple times.
His eyes were shining with enthusiasm, but also, with gratitude. He was thankful to Logan for the opportunity he had to bring this song to life, this brand new song that no one had ever heard before. The idea that its first breath of auditory life would be coming from Roman's own voice was so romantic that it almost made Roman want to sing it right there and then so he wouldn't have to wait anymore.

Abby:
Abby is based on Abby Anderson and Ellie Williams (Ellie is her face claim, but she has Abby's nose) from The Last of Us. Two of my favourite characters! They are so complex and an incredible source of inspiration!
(this is not Cannon, it's from a Roleplay that maybe we turn into a fic or something 👁️👁️) Abby is from 2030 but she accidentally time traveled to 1981. Aleks (@alypink) and Mila (@efingart) try to help her get back to her time. IT'S FULL OF DRAMA, I live for that RP I hope we can bring something soon hahaha!
Abby is a really nervous kid. Always has to have her hands occupied playing with things. She has an old lighter and she's always playing with it (Like a good Black Ops Introduction yeaah🕯️). And she also has a butterfly knife, she's still learning how to use it but she's getting better every time.
Abby plays the classic guitar, whenever she can. It's like her comfort hobby. Her mother taught her how to play it, and the sound of the instrument always brings her home. She almost feels like her mother is with her when she plays.
When she was a kid she found a picture of her grandfather Mason talking with a Woman. She didn't recognise that woman, Woods never talked about her, and when she asked Frank avoided the question, like that woman wasn't important or relevant, but she could see a storm of emotions in those old eyes, emotions too complicated for a 13 year old. "Just a long story Kid." But Abby was still curious, even after all those years Abby still wonders who that woman is. Spoiler: That Woman was Mila (@efingart) 🫢 Here's the comic!!👀
Abby has green eyes as a reference of Mason from Black ops 1, (in black ops 2 and cold war he has brown eyes)
Abby has one of Woods tattoos, to honour his memory. Maybe I'll add more (not from Woods)
Sparrow:
Sparrow's closest friends are Alyssa Martinez (@alypink) and Damien Whitlock (@kaitaiga) but before Damien, there was Daniel Greenhill. The three of them met in a rescue mission in Russia, they spent several weeks together and they forged an amazing friendship.
After her accident in K2, Sparrow didn't want to see anyone. Not even her family or friends. She thought her cuts and wounds would scare them, also she's always in a terrible mood when it comes to recovery. But Aly kicked the door of her house and stayed with her during all her healing process, physical and emotional. Daniel joined not long after, when He got news that Sparrow was out of the Hospital he took a plane and went to help her too. As a medic Daniel helped her a lot with the stitches, pills, and recovery. Always scolding her for doing something that she shouldn't do in her state. Like working out, or going to work as a mechanic in her garage. Daniel and Aly saved Sparrow in so many aspects and she'll always be in debt with them.
The way she met Damien is a little bit curious. The 2CO did an emergency stop at the Armed Swiss forces HQ. As soon as Daniel found out that Sparrow was there he rushed to see her. Of course his inseparable friend Damien followed him, curious to know about this "Sparrow" that Daniel talks about sometimes. They didn't get along in the beginning, forced to go to a mission together but in the end they found out that they have more things in common and a great friendship started. After all, after Daniel's death they only had each other as comfort. Aly and Sparrow had to help Damien to get through that pain, no matter how much it hurts for the two of them too.
Sparrow HATES Shadow Company, after all that happened in Las Almas and the betrayal, she can't stand Graves. She never liked him, not even when they were allies. So you can imagine her reaction when she had to work with Shadow Company again in MW3. She was willing to rip out Grave's guts as soon as she saw him. But out of love and respect to Anna (@applbottmjeens), she didn't do it. She took it very personal when she found out what he did to her Gremlin. But she respected Anna's decision and managed to tolerate Graves, just enough to not kill him at first sight. So yeah, her friendship with your oc Squirrel would take time, but I'm sure they'll be good friends in the end heheheh.
Sparrow has a dog. A female Argentine doggo. That Aly (@alypink) rescued it from illegal dog fights. When Alyssa saw her she immediately knew that Sparrow would love her. And she did! As soon as she saw that dog, she took it home with her. Her name is Tora, she has scars like Sparrow, and she's also missing an eye from the dog fights.
Now, about her relationship with Amara, I don't want to give a lot of details, because I'm working on the next chapter of her love story. But what I can say is that Sparrow fell hard, really hard. She wasn't the kind of woman who falls in love so easily. She was more of enjoying a one night stand. It had been so long since her last serious relationship that in the beginning she didn't know what to really do. "Well I have a girlfriend.... Now What?"
But soon she found out what she was capable of doing for Amara. Literally everything. All she wanted to do is make her happy.
Amara:
Amara hates the military and everything related to it. Her father was a S.A.S soldier, and he wasn't a very present father in her life, even though he loved her with all her heart. And after all those years, and a well deserved retirement, he got killed by S.A.S soldiers, when he was heavily injured in a terrorist attack, because for the soldiers it was better to end his life quickly than extend his suffering. All of that in front of a really young Amara who was begging for his father's life.
So yeah, she has strong opinions on the military. But life had other plans for her and brought Sparrow to her life hahaha!
Amara had a toxic relationship before Sparrow, so it took her time to get used to being treated like the Queen she deserves to be. Having mixed feelings, trying to understand why Sparrow was so nice and good for her without wanting anything in return.
Amara is a stripper, her job is not a secret. She started because she needed the money, but in the end she enjoyed it, she loved to dance. But when she started her relationship with she got a little bit insecure about Sparrow's opinion on her job. Obviously Sparrow didn't mind, it was a job after all, and she was her supportive girlfriend #1.
Amara has an old black Sphynx Cat called Kuro. It was her mother's cat and when she passed away, Amara adopted him, and he has followed her in every step of her life.
I love Amara's fashion style. It's so different from mine! I swear this woman always takes my breath (and Sparrow's) away. (She's team all black hahaha)
I like to say that Amara is a little bit like a witch. She knows how to read tarot cards, how to clean a house with Lignum Vitae... So every time Sparrow has to go on a mission, she secretly shuffles the tarot cards, and checks how the mission will go. If the cards aren't good, she usually gives a protective stone like white quartz to Sparrow. Sparrow always listens to her even though she doesn't really understand how it works.
"Keep this close to you all the time."
"I like this one. What's it for love?"

Not my usual type of posts.
Everything below consists of drama and whatever that happened earlier today
Convinced adults are the most childish and immature people to exist. Especially the ones in the tumblr - creepypasta/slenderverse community ! If you have a problem with a discord server run and operated by TEENAGERS I don’t think it’s the best n smartest idea to drag it onto tumblr, esp since the problem had been long resolved. Just for that I’m being petty and posting about it 🤷
My server is not a bad place. So let’s have a small run through, shall we?? :3
What was said in the general chat right before the person dipped. The full thing didn’t fit on screen but at the top it said “im just gonna leave this here and i'll probably get kicked or banned for it but” (word for word copy n pasted.)
1) the whole point of reaching out to higher ups in server is for them to HEAR YOU OUT. All my mods including me did so and would’ve done in a more appropriate manner IF this person hadn’t done it in a general chat, when clearly it should’ve been discussed privately with me or any one of my mods.
Also it’s apart of the RULES might I add. The LAST rule right before u grab the role to access my server.
PSA this whole thing conjured up bc of an argument that was about slur usage in my server.
This is what irks me the most!!!
- being an adult, being diagnosed, and having experienced someone with an diagnosed disorder does not make you special. I’m glad you and your family are more privileged and have been able to receive real diagnosis and help from medical professionals but that isn’t a case for many. Especially when it comes to minors. - this is what essentially caused the issue, because this person started a debate over people using slurs in my server. I was in school at the time this whole happened and only experienced the aftermath but based on the chats I had read and what my mods said in my absence; YES RECLAIMABLE SLURS ARE ALLOWED TO AN EXTENT. — slurs that can be reclaimed by the person using it are allowed to be thrown around moderately and only in joking-friendly mannerisms. If you’re uncomfortable with that then you either ignore em in the server or leave. There was NO NEED to start a issue that lasted several hours.

No one was targeting this person for being autistic or an adult. The person they got in a debate/fight w was not a mod either and both parties had gotten in trouble as far as I’m concerned. The person in these screenshots had left my server on their own account and me as the owner and other mods hadnt reacted badly or criticized them for their paragraph. We suggested that next time they pull a ticket like the RULES ELABORATED ON.
Thought everything was dandy and done w. I don’t like drama esp when it leads back to me, until they apparently went straight to tumblr and posted about it, which my mod had came across the post and called them out for before they deleted it.

some funky previews for shenanigans - ooo mystery raid (its obvious). Already started approaching peeps to participate in some key stuff but it'll open for all to come throw hands and participate in the coming arcs...once I figure out the mechanics. Almost there, trying to make it less mathy and more fun. This is part of that turtle thing I talked about months back-been plotting in the bg, bidding time hah!
It's gonna take a long while, this is still a slow burn event. An important note for my various muses and stuff ahead beneath!
Again, slow burn event - it wont be constant cause of life, dont want stress and for story beats. Most will be fun raid events for muses to catch some neato paradox pokemon leading to funny turtle shenanigans and crater dives. It's not entirely plotted out. Like...here's my scratchy notes lol:
Anyone can join in on open parts - super hope you do! I kinda wanted this as a sort of final ruckus to Scarlet/Violet as gamefreak on record is going to announce a new venture for the year. Hopefully this ends before whenever that comes out!
While this long event is for anyone to participate (Im planning sign ups or something of that matter later down the line for crux parts-Ive already approached some of you, hello there ; > ), it also means the end of my many muse's arcs and stories they've been slowly building to in the bg. This is going to be my fun and final goodbye to my time in the rpc completely.
It's been weighed for a long long time now and I feel it's just about right. Life's been very very busy in a good way! Going to therapy, narrowing down what I want to do with myself, developing habits and schedules to ensure I stick to it including getting properly medicated, challenging my social anxiety and reaching out to others, and even deciding to quit my current dayjob in the near future. RP has been holding me up for years now with just fantastic character and plot ideas I couldn't come up including meeting so many mutuals and friends who've stuck with me for just as long as I've been here. But at some point it's turning more and more into an investment and distraction. I spend too much time here then realize Ive been behind on actual work including the amount of energy and creativity.
In no way am I leaving because of drama, trouble, etc. Figured it'd be nice to bid goodbye with an event then to just peace out quietly one day. Im not even entirely leaving rp per say. I would love to join some of the rp servers here now that Im getting better at participating in group chats. That way Id still stay connected to friends! Probably going to join with new muses entirely but besides the point--
Thanks so much for being interested in my plots, crack posts, ic things, art, etc. Again in no way is this anytime soon hah! I figured with the long while until this is happening Ill have time to start and wrap up other important plots going on with mutuals. But Im looking forward to making this the best last year ever in the rpc before the new title drops <3

Hey, I saw your discussion about the Hellfire club conflict and thought I would give my take as someone who was in club for a RPG campaign and a friendship group DnD thing as well.
In club based RPG they tend to have a certain number of players who can play each week (basically how many the GM/DM can handle or difficulty based) and you sign up in advance of the session. I was a fairly regular player and still missed major lore events since only so many could play. I would assume Hellfire worked similarly to this based on the fact Hellfire had more members than we saw (in the photo) and that Erica was let in so easily. I think if I had signed up for a session then couldn't make it they would get a fill for me but if it was something where I needed to be there they might change things that would happen.
However in my friend group DnD they would only have someone else double and play my character on non major sessions.
The show weirdly frames it like the problem is doing sports and trying to be cool in a way that's kinda weird. It should be more of a conflict of them both having an important club based event on the same day and wanting the other to attend. That makes more sense. In being non neutral in the narrative they make Lucas look better and everyone else look worse (even though they are siding against Lucas, some of the audience won't see sports as a threat the way they want us to).
They make what should be a tragic conflict of interests into a Us versus Them rhetoric regarding nerds and jocks. Steve didn't quit sports for his redemption arc. They already established Jock not equal to bad. It doesn't work.
Oh interesting! Thank you for bringing that up. I still think that would be incredibly weird because wouldn't they have to explain what has happened to everyone who wasn't there at the last/last few sessions? But I guess my experience has been heavy rp fun time/dramas than fighting rp? So maybe it would work better if the kind of DM you have puts more emphasis on battle than protecting annoying Prince's or accidentally meeting ones estranged parents haha.
My uni dnd club just has multiple campaigns happening I think but I've never actually gotten a chance to join (busy with uni) so maybe that is how it goes! I appreciate this insight, that's really interesting.
Yeah I agree, by using the narrative to frame it as Lucas betraying the party or nerddom or whatever it just makes me think everyone is being a pretentious jerk to him for having a non dnd hobby. It could have been a sad thing where he's like oh guys... I wish I could come play DND and I wish you could come watch me play...it's the finale AND the championship game... This blows. and Dustin and Mike could have gone "okay man we'll take really good notes and find your sub for you! Get Steve or your parents to video tape the game, I'll set up my double cassette player to record the radio on a timer too. Oh! Maybe we could record the session? That way even if we can't all be there for both, we can still know what happens!" Just!! Show that they care about each other!
The show's insistence on nerd v jock dichotomy and of it being good v bad is frustrating. You're right Steve showed that! He changed in S1 and in S2 we see him playing basketball! He was captain of the swim team that year apparently too. And he has already changed to be better. But the show often forgets Steve is actually a complex character or can be more than comic relief or that he is also a human who needs medical assistance when hurt so maybe we shouldn't be surprised that they forget he disproves their own point of jocks=bad. Smh

Hi, your art is really cool and I like all of your OCs, I’m curious about what Star Trek Legacy is!
Hi! thank you <3 I'm glad you like my work!
As for what the Legacy RP is, it's a 12 year old small RP group that originated on Deviantart, (it spawned from an star trek OC themed tournament back in 2010 when the reboot was popular) and is unrelated to the newly annouced Star Trek Legacy series.
We've since moved to Discord and while we don't RP much anymore (responsible adult life is hard :') ), we still discuss headcanons and do creative work for it regularily.
The RP itself is set in an Alternative Universe somewhere between the reboot and TOS in terms of technology and fits into the gap between TOS and the original movies (so 2273-2280ish), but is mostly disconnected from offical characters and events. It's about the USS-Legacy, an exploration vessel very low on Starfleet's priority list, and its missadventures and the crew's interpersonal dramas.
Lev (the blond guy I draw a lot) is my main rp character and the chief medical officer aboard the ship. The other characters in my posts are largely my friends's rp characters (and a couple of backround "npcs" of mine).
So yeah, basically it's a long running RP and it's brought me a lot of joy and comfort over the years and I like drawing for it a lot. I hope that kinda explains it!

Hey! I'm so sorry this is running so late, Nonny, I meant to reply sooner than this but I tend to get distracted super easily. I've got the ADHD pretty bad and in my past life I was the goldfish that made scientists think they all had five second memories.
At any rate, I have quite a few Hellaverse OCs! A lot of fankids and then quite a few surrounding Ozzie or Valentino. I've been working more with the ones that deal with Val, lately, which are mostly Darío, Ostello, and Anya!
The main OCs I have are Ostello, Anya, Darío, Ozzie's Parents (Abstemiounessa and Valore), Archangel Uriel, Leviathan, Magpie, Vick, and then a few others that I don't do much with. I also have fankids but that may be for another time.
I literally just reworked Ostello's bio and took it from 364 words to 1,101 words and updated a lot of information that had become wrong as I wrote him. Anya recently got upgraded from OC that I didn't really do anything with to OC that I'm using a lot more.

When Anya was alive, she worked in a veterinarian’s office that saw a lot of exotic pets owned by bad people. There were all kinds of things that she had to overlook in her line of work, including humans that had bullet wounds or other such injuries. She doubled as a nurse when she had to, and learned how to take care of human and animal injuries alike. Always having been nurturing and gentle, she was well-loved by the Russian mafia in her town in Belarus and ended up getting married to a lower-ranking member after tending to him for one summer.
She was shot on their wedding day when a rival cell infiltrated the wedding and killed as many of the people there as they could. She died holding her lover’s hand, and vowing revenge. This never came to fruition.
Meeting Valentino not long after she fell, Anya was hired on to be his PA after she ended up gentling him through an injury that he obtained in a turf war. She happened to be there at the time, and he decided having a medically minded personal assistant would be a good idea. She sold her soul to him, and being an important member of his team, she was given the golden tooth that Angel Dust and Val both had. She is in love with Valentino, but he only sees her as a friend. She’s mostly okay with this because it’s worth it just to be near him. It is her job to handle most things that Vox doesn’t handle for him. This can be anything from cast lists to work schedules to bartending if he needs someone to cover a shift. If Val needs it done, she’ll do it.
Her snakes are Frog Eating Rat Snakes, and because of this, they have bacteria in their mouths. If she bites you, it is an immediate, violent, and disgusting case of leprosy that can kill in minutes. She has only ever bitten three people, and she usually doesn’t, but she will absolutely do it if it is necessary.
Anya is very nosy and always likes to be up on the latest gossip and whatever juicy things are going on around Val. She will pry into his business while she takes care of him while he’s drunk so she is abreast of the latest drama.

When he was alive, his name was Oscar Lawrence. Oscar was the son of Ruth and Samuel Lawrence, their only child. Marty was his father’s best friend, his right-hand man in the fire department, and his wife’s affair partner. Oscar knew about the affair for approximately a year before his father died on Christmas day when he was ten years old. A year after his father’s death, Marty was his stepfather, and while he never held any express animosity toward him, he never called Marty his father. His mother and Marty had two kids together who were twelve and fourteen years younger than he was, and he was never particularly close to his half-siblings.
At seventeen, he had dropped out of school and gone to work in a club in Omaha. He was discovered singing one of the numbers from a nightly show while cleaning by his boss, who loved his sound and gave him his own attempt at playing a show one Saturday night. For starters, he did a few covers of things that he had heard and ended the night on a song he’d written himself. His lyrics were filled with a longing he became known for, a desire for something he could never have. It became something that was so Oscar Lawrence to long, to pine so genuinely and openly that it was impossible to separate from him. So much of his music was about barely scraping his fingertips against the thing he longed for, and nobody could ever quite get out of him what it was.
When he was twenty, he met Olivia, his wife-to-be. She fell for him, hard and fast, and he never felt much. But it was a suspicious thing for a man his age not to have a wife, and he liked Olivia enough to live with her. Oscar was rarely home, out touring and recording a lot, but at twenty-one their daughter, Gertrude “Gertie” Rose Lawrence was born. He rarely saw her, and when he was home, he was usually sad and drunk. Gertie doesn’t remember much of her dad, but his biggest sin with her was neglect. He never rose his hand against her or her mother, and he was never particularly cruel.
However, he did cheat on his wife. Often while he was on tour, he could sleep with any woman that wanted him in ways he found impossible to do with his wife at home. Like many singers of his time, he also had a stage presence on the silver screen. Much like he found many temporary replacements for his wife, he found a semi-permanent replacement for his daughter as a mentor to Shirley Temple.
If there was something as Oscar Lawrence as pure, unadulterated longing, it was a desire to run from what he did have with that same desperation.
His biggest sin in life was that he was gay in a time when that was very highly frowned upon, and it was a well-kept secret. Nobody knew about it, and he never once acted on it while he was alive.
When he died in 1944, it was a slow, painful, and disorienting death alone in a hospital half a country away from his family. His wife and daughter flew out to see him just in time to say goodbye, and he couldn’t recall who they were. He died of acute liver failure that had progressed under the radar of his manager who had been busy working him through the holidays.
Olivia sued the company for negligence that led to her husband’s death, and she and Gertie continued to never want for anything but the man whom they owed their cushy lives to. Neither could say they knew him before he died, and after they would know him even less.
Oscar sort of expected to fall into Hell, and when he did, he was unsurprised. For a few months, he just tooled around, feeling out his new abilities and appearance as a badger. He discovered early on that he had pyrokinesis and it was something of a novelty for a while.
One night while walking the streets and experimenting with it in the lonely hours of the morning, he gave a fireball too much juice and shot an Overlord on her way back from a big deal. He didn’t expect it, and it led to a huge fight between the two of them in which Ostello accidentally became the victor. It was a hard fight and when her gun was knocked from her hands, he managed to grab it in the ensuing wrestling for it. Unbeknownst to him, it was loaded with holy bullets, and ended in her demise.
Her attendants, who had scattered during the fight, came to him to tell him that he was now in charge of her territory as long as nobody else took it, and he took the responsibility fairly seriously. This didn’t stop him from pursuing a musical career on top of the weapons dealing, of course, but it was somethingi that he did want to do to the best of his ability.
Ostello, as he eventually renamed himself, became a rather beloved fixture of the Pentagram. He was hard to upset and treated his workers with dignity and respect. They were paid well, especially those who gathered holy metals during the Extermination, and he never went so far as to treat any of them cruelly.
He worked with Alastor to produce radio shows and sang live several times for him. When Vox eventually came around, Ostello left Alastor’s employ to work under a label that Vox owned. He performed for him there, with concerts and other such things, until the day he was killed. His music is still fairly popular and played in several Voxtech buildings.
In 1972, he met Valentino, and in two months married the moth. He was a devoted husband who wanted nothing more than to make his wife happy, and he spent the next eight years absolutely enamored by him. However, Valentino had never really been in love with him, and in 1980 used a holy spearhead pilfered from Ostello’s own armory to kill him.
Due to his love for Valentino driving him to be a much, much happier and better person, when he died he was reincarnated in Heaven. He dislikes Heaven very much because he misses Valentino and was reunited with Olivia. He does not know that Gertie is in Hell. He has been watching Valentino in Hell for years and is abreast with the latest things going on in his life at all times.

trying to cheer myself up by fiddling with oc stuff.
once again tempted to dump any and all ocs i have into singular sandbox.
random generated vaguely dnd ocs are an easy fit and spare me the trouble of coming up with new minor characters. so are most of my Old rp ocs that are still relevant. the hundred page comic i drew at 16? sure it was nominally scifi but it was all about a weird existential parasite thing, that fits with the medical drama nature of the current prevailing main plot. the church trees from the knight and dragon story have been incorporated to the worldbuilding a long time ago. the way the retcon mages work fits the themes of the worldbuilding too, so all of them blend in nicely.
problems arise with the Highly Specific (nsfw) ocs, and the superhero agency ocs, as they hinge way more heavily on their exact genre and settings.
... now that i think about it, my one and only sad robit would be difficult to port. but only because their Whole Deal is now the Main Deal of the story. hmm. mayhaps a mysterious backstory character, as a tribute...

Hey! Hope the week end isn't so bad after all.

i woke up several times last night having nervous breakdowns so the weekend sure is going! anyway here’s some #content:
ayase miho: the oldest oc i have, she was actually created for a danganronpa rp group my friends back then invited me to, but it fell apart really fast due to teen drama. i liked miho enough to keep writing her and have brought her to several different rp groups after that. i really don’t know what my original intention for her was since it’s been so long, but at the moment she represents my intent to write a character who is a “psychopath” but isn’t necessarily evil. she’s extremely clever, sexually bold, and a manipulator. she doesn’t care about morality, only what interests her. she was the heiress to a wealthy family but ran away and forfeited her inheritance to a younger sister she hates. she currently works as a high end call girl in tokyo. her vibe is pretty heavily influenced by some of the modern japanese lit i’ve read, ESPECIALLY nakamura fuminori’s the kingdom.
fujii hayate: i made him for the pokemon legends arceus rp group i was invited to back when that game came out. because a lot of people were making cool and heroic ocs, i wanted to counterbalance that with someone who was just. a regular guy. hayate was a medic from johto who traveled to hisui to help out there. he isn’t very good with pokemon or survival. he’s very kind and sweet, if a bit naive. the other members of the server really liked him and i do too, but i’m not really sure what to do with him after the fact.
cael aoyama: cael is my player character/warrior of light (wol) for ffxiv. i wasn’t sure what i was doing when i first made her but despite only coming into being last fall, she has some of the richest lore of any of my ocs. without recounting her entire journey, she ended up with a lot of my problems like struggles with communication and deep-seated insecurity. i wanted to write a character who wasn’t very “hero-like” externally but had a strong sense of internal goodness. cael has a cold and serious exterior, but as she has grown, she has learned to be more trusting and more hopeful!
mnemosyne (“nemmy”): nemmy is cael’s azem which mean’s absolutely nothing to anyone who isn’t familiar with ffxiv lore, but in the simplest way possible, they are cael’s past life. they’re a lot more outgoing than cael, but suffer the same core struggles with communicating their feelings, something that eventually leads to having massive impact on what happens after they die. they’re another person who is trying the best they can with what they know, but is ultimately flawed.
