OH MY GOD I JUST NOTICED THIS IN MU
After sulley makes fun of mike, his smile looks a little bit fake
Then he turns around and sees johnny laughing at mike
And then sulley begins laughing. So basically my hc is that sulley didnt actually hate mike in the beginning and just did it to fit in, but after mike’s intelligence and good grades were making his friends slip away, sulley began genuinely hating mike.

I’ve been thinking back to artist stuff in high school and man people are really weird about furry stuff in a way that seems like they’re super afraid to be associated with it at all. I don’t/didn’t consider myself a furry but I recognize my art is obviously furry-adjacent at times and I don’t mind that.
I’d almost always bring my sketch book to school with me so I can draw during breaks and stuff and the amount of times people (sometimes complete strangers!) would randomly insult me for drawing “furry shit” (once this happened bc I was drawing bojack horseman characters LMAO) like ppl are usually polite when they see me (or others from what I’ve seen) drawing in public, will either ignore it or say something nice or funny if they do comment on it, unless it’s something they think is furry art.
It’s baffling to me like this is so obviously not how these people would normally behave but it feels like they’re so afraid of being seen as cringe they feel they have to point out any cringe they see so that no one thinks they’re cringe. Grown adults can do this stuff too but it was obv much more common for me in high school.
And it was so shitty how it made me actually somewhat ashamed of drawing anything that could be perceived as furry, even though I’ve loved drawing animals my whole life since I was a child, and I never had anything against furries and had both irl and online friends who were furries.
I don’t feel any of that shame anymore and just draw whatever I want (it helps that I’m no longer getting strangers commenting on my art like this irl, and that I’m not as insecure a person as I was in high school) it’s just so fucking weird that people feel comfortable acting like this

Streams and School #1
Those who know me know I love to watch streams, (longer) videos, movies and listen to music in the background while at school.
In particular I love watching streams, hermits (besides Grian as he's my main) videos and vids from G's second channel (like GIGGS Phasmo).
Today's been so cool though as I've watched Joe and Cleo stream together and Iskalls (on silent mostly) for a bit, watched a few GIGGS, some Jacksfilms, and hour of Pearl's stream, a little Martyns and now Impulse's stream.
Wednesday is normally a weekend for me however I'm behind on some work and we're moving in a few days so I need to do some extra work. So I've been able to watch stuff while working and now take a proper break to pay attention to the streams for a while which is great!!

theo and liam always getting paired together in 6b during episodes where all of the other storylines focus on couples going through stuff together is so funny because when you look at it, the only episode where they really get split up is genotype, which is one of the rare episodes where scott ISN’T paired with malia (because he’s with liam) and mason isn’t with corey (because he’s with theo) aka the canon love interests. like these episodes were cutting from shit like scalia almost dying together to thiam having intimate conversations about how liam processes emotions and morey saying i love you to thiam swearing that neither of them are dying for each other 😭 just very amusing to me. theo raeken: the accidental love interest.

I made a prompt some time ago and my brain couldn't let it go so I want to write an actual fic about it. But I need your help to do it.
You can find the prompt I'm talking about here. To summarize it quickly because I know it ended up kind of long. Dani was traveling around the USA and met/befriended some people, heroes and villains include. And then she left to see another place. It wouldn't be a problem if before she left, she said goodbye. She didn't so now they she got kidnapped and are panicing.
I have some ideas, some serious chaos I mentioned (about 2500 words and counting) or super serious chaos if things'll go properly, who knows, some Dani hangs out with Duke during his patrols and is low key his sidekick (5500 words and counting, everything on paper because why not?), both in much different places on a timeline, untouched but thought about idea for Dani and Conner clone budding AND one bit for when she met Flashfam and one when she asked Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy for autographs for Jazz and Sam.
But here is a thing. All I know about DC is from dpxdc tag and some fics on AO3. Also from dpxdc of course. So it means I don't know a jack shit about people outside of Batfam.
So, what I'm asking for is, if you have ideas who else Dani could mess with or/and links to fanfics with your favorite characterizations or character analysis here or on AO3, any way of communication you are comfortable with is open, please send it (maybe not in actual mail that would be both creepy and unreasonably expensive)
I can't exactly watch movies/cartoons because I fear my computer wouldn't survive that (I had a moment of black screen two times in the last twenty minutes and three more temporary freezes, how is this thing still running, and how it became my most reliable internet connection device?)
Anyway, send the links I beg you

the closest ill ever get to being a pick me girl is the joy that fills me when the chefs at work so clearly favouritise me. like im there nicely cleaned up in my smart-casual uniform just a 20 year old waitress smiling my customer service smile and behind me spawns Scary Dog Privilege 10x in the form of several burly middle-aged chefs at least three of which have criminal records and would all stick a bread knife in someone for bothering me

headcanon that Soap is one of those people who likes to pull apart pens when he's bored
he'll be out on a mission, writing little notes, sketching, keeping track of numbers and whatnot and then there's a lull in activity and his mind wanders and he needs to fidget
he quickly goes from flicking and fiddling with his pen to uncapping and unscrewing the top or bottom of it, until finally he just pulls the ballpoint tip completely out of the ink chamber and now there's ink everywhere
it's on his hands, it's on his uniform, it's on his field notes, it's on whichever poor bastard is sitting next to him, it's even somehow speckled across his face
he has permanent stains on some of his uniform pockets because even if he manages to put the pen back together before all the ink runs out, it's never quite enough to stop the flow and he'll end up with a black or blue stain at the corner of his pocket
the 141 is used to it, to... varying degrees
gaz keeps at least a handful of pens on him at any given time. he feels a little guilty because they're usually branded company pens from stores and offices and such because whenever he's out of field-mode and trying to be human again, he has an unconscious habit of just taking whatever pens he's handed when he needs to sign or write anything. he'll find them an hour later and make an "aw shit, not again" kinda noise
he sees Soap with ink on his hands and wordlessly hands him a new pen, half hoping he'll watch the Sergeant go through the exact same process with the new pen because it's very entertaining and he apparently never learns
price carries around a single pen when he's on the field, and it's one of those nice fine line gel pens with the little rubber erasers on the end than can actually erase the ink if needed. he got it because it's practical and writes clean and neatly, and there is some small novelty to the magic of being able to erase pen
he will, very begrudgingly, lend it to Soap if it is needed as a last resort, but will watch him like a hawk and take it back as soon at the Sergeant is finished. he knows it would take Soap a little bit more effort to crack into his pen than a regular ball point, but he also knows how determined Soap is and he's not as willing to let it get that far
ghost doesn't carry pens. he knows that they break or go dry (or have their ink bled out) way too easily. the big man does, however, keep one or two thick carpenter's pencils somewhere on his person. they don't snap too easily if he has to play rough, and they're easy enough to sharpen with one of his knives
Soap has ink on his hands again, Ghost huffs a (slightly) amused sigh and a few seconds later he'll hold one of his pencils out to the other man. no one knows were it came from, the pencil seemingly procured out of thin air
Soap gives him a grin, finishes his notes and his sketch once all the ink on the page is dry and hands the pencil back without Ghost even having to ask

You know what show I really hope the ghosts put on while they were all together? HMS Pinafore. Everyone from Fanny onwards most likely knew it reasonably well already, either by cultural osmosis or from being a theatre gay, and for the rest it's probably the easiest operetta to pick up that's ever existed.
I imagine it would have gone down something like this:
Josephine Corcoran- Kitty
Ralph Rackstraw - Thomas
Absolute no-brainers for the lead soprano and tenor. Ralph scores extra points for being one of the most dramatic and flouncy tenors Gilbert ever wrote. At one point he has a speech that's so flowery it's genuinely incomprehensible. Unfortunately his big aria is terribly dull (still in-character tbh) but both of Josephine's are brilliant. Especially "The hours creep on apace", where, having secretly accepted Ralph's proposal, she does waver a bit since, after all, he is a bit of a pleb.
Captain Corcoran - The Captain
Keeps the Pinafore ship-shape and Bristol-fashion. Would have a lovely father-daughter relationship with Josephine. Gets to be in lots of bangin' numbers, especially "I am the Captain of the Pinafore".
Captain: I do my best to satisfy you all -
Crew: And with you we're quite content!
Captain: You're exceedingly polite and I think it's only right to return the compliment.
Sir Joseph Porter - Julian
Marvellously smug and superior patter baritone who got to his lofty position via flattery and luck rather than merit. No direction needed.
Little Buttercup - Fanny
I think she would struggle playing someone who's meant to be lowly, but on the other hand she'd probably really get into every other aspect of the character, especially when she gets to drop mysterious hints all the way through, and dramatically reveal the twist at the end. (She also really reminds me of the mature student who played Little Buttercup for my university's Light Opera Society once, who was very definitely another repressed middle-aged horndog. Get it, girl.)
Cousin Hebe - Mary
Not much of a part, but I suspect getting Mary to concentrate on something like this for any length of time without going off on a tangent would be... tricky. Would be enthusiastic about helping Josephine and might have to be held back from headbutting Captain Corcoran when he tries to stop the elopement.
Dick Deadeye - Robin
Hunched, triangular bass Dick Deadeye growls his way through the opera causing chaos just... 'cos. Is far more perceptive than the Captain and has to really spell out that Josephine and Ralph are planning on running away together.
Bosun's Mate - Humphrey's head
Carpenter's mate and director - Pat
This probably required slightly delicate handling, since Pat is the better singer (and He is an Englishman is harder than it looks), but a) keeping rehearsals from descending into anarchy probably took all his energy and b) Humphrey might have been slightly grumpy being relegated to a really tiny role again. At least they both get to be in A British Tar is a Soaring Soul.
Chorus of sisters, cousins, and aunts - Humphrey's body
Carries the whole show on his back.

Rewatching any sport in a storm rn trying not to think abt how close the finale is) and two things I love:
I LOVE that Willow describes flyer derby in terms of it's theatrics and drama. Because this girl used to be terrified of being seen! Much like her attitude to internal problems, her attitude to external problems has always been to be unassuming and thus avoid ridicule. Now, with friends and a new found sense of confidence (the way she looks out for Luz and Gus when they're getting chased in the first bit in hexside <3)- she wants everyone to see her! And again, because the main theme of this ep is being misjudged and how ppl use appearances to deceive, she wants to be in control of how ppl see her via flyer derby. It's just a really nice nuance behind why she takes to the hobby
LOVE that even at this stage in the show the trio are still kinda losers. Losers with lots of friends around hexside, certainly! But the way they market their clubs is dorky (willows "r u cruisin' 4 a brusin'?" Sign and Luz straight up asking why nobody's interested in the good witch azura). The main difference between now and season 1 is, again, they have more friends (the grudgby match and grom were turning points I think) and they're not really bothered by how their cringe-ness is perceived at school. I watched this ep back to back with Understanding Willow (it's Willow night tonight!) and it's just such a sweet development from season 1 and such a contrast
