Hey, um crocheting community of Tumblr? That's how I should start it? I was doing a backpack/bag and this is wrong side
Tumblr media
Does anyone know if I can leave it be like that (I was switching colors mid working and those are loose ends) or should I secure it in some way. If I should secure it, do I have to tie it all up in pairs or is there a faster way? Everything is 100% acrylic other than yellow (25% wool and 75% acrylic)
I will add some material bag as a lining so person using it won't actually touch these loose ends and I'm not sure if I won't scream if I have to tie it all up because I've been doing it on intense mode and have enough of it but I need

Thank you so much for a hug! 💕💕💕
Tbh, I kinda forgot about this work, I should get back to it soon. Thank you for reminding me about it hah
Serious chaos one-shot snippet
“Hey, Dami?”
Boy hadn’t looked up from kittens he was bottle feeding but let out hum indicating he listened.
“I think about trying out more girlish style. Do you think it would suit me?”
Well, Damian had no idea but if Dani wished to give it a chance, then, well, the only appropriate course of action was to offer his aid.
Also features: Dani and Damian working at an animal shelter, Steph being fashionable, and Batman's rouge gallery and no, it's not a spelling mistake :)

That post that's like "stop writing characters who talk like they're trying to get a good grade in therapy" really blew the door wide open for me about how common it's become for a character's emotional intelligence to not be taken into consideration when writing conflict. I remember the first time I went to therapy I had such a hard time even identifying what I was feeling, let alone had the language to explain it to someone else. Of course there are plenty of people who've never been to therapy a day in their life who are in tune to their emotions. But even they would have some trouble expressing themselves sometimes. You have to take into account there are plenty of people who are uncomfortable expressing themselves and people who think they're not allowed to feel certain ways. It also makes for more interesting conflict to have characters with different levels of understanding.

If you migrate from Wattpad to Ao3....
I'm fucking begging you to actually tag your works properly AND DO NOT CENSOR WHAT YOU WRITE OR TAG !!! Terms like "unalive" "sewer slide" and other censored terms are NOT welcome here, and you wont be punished by the algorithm for talking about death and blood and stuff BECAUSE THERES IS NO ALGORITHM ! Also making place holders IS NOT ALLOWED BY AO3 TOS. It just clogs up the archive for nothing, if you do this, thats a sure way to get your stuff reported. Please learn how Ao3 works, its nothing like Wattpad.

yo if youre a cis woman who considers yourself an ally to trans women please take a second to read this
stop engaging with terfs, its not helping. it has never helped. stop reblogging terf posts to poke fun at them, stop directly engaging in arguments with terfs for the sake of getting off some petty insult or telling them off, youre not proving anything and youre not going to change their minds. doing something to “piss off terfs” does not help trans women, it just frustrates terfs, who will then take their frustrations out on trans women. terfs might tell u off or insult u but ultimately they see u as a poor victim who has been Brainwashed By The Trans Rights Activists™, youre not a target, youre not the one who has to deal with their anger, we are.
if u want to help trans women do things to uplift and support trans women, if u see a trans women is being harassed on this site by terfs throw some positivity her way. dont rile up ppl who are attacking someone else just to earn radical discourse brownie points.

I was thinking about this sotry and then somehow got to nicknames in Batpham, and I'm all there for all bird and bats stuff, but I don't think they can confidently use it in civies. To paranoid for that. So, they have to have other set. Here are my ideas. Though I only have D gang for now.
Dick - Big(est) D (nobody other than him calls him that, his name is nickname enough)
Damian - Little/Baby D (if you're not Dick he will get violent)
And here is the reason I made this whole post:
Duke - Bigger Medium D
Danny - Smaller Medium D
Duke was Medium D before, and they tried to make Danny Small D, but he pointed out there is only a one year difference between them, and he won't let anyone call him small, he isn't that short (he is). So, they added subcategories to Medium
DC X DP Prompt #4
It turns out that one of the things Danny inherited from Bruce was his need to make contingency plans.
Or: Danny's family finds out that he has contingency plans for all of them, including if Danny turns evil and how to permanently stop him
Bruce feels a certain way when he finds out his son has a plan to basically commit suicide.

Suddenly struck with a need to explain to you how boat pronouns work (I work in the marine industry).
When you're talking about the design of the boat, you say "it".
When the boat is still being built, your say "it".
When the boat is nearing completion, you can say "it" or "she".
When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".
When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.
If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").
If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")
If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").
If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.
If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
I hope this has cleared things up so that you may not be in danger of misgendering floating objects.
