yuta okkotsu x gn!reader wc 700

TW mentions of sh, suicide. angst with an attempt at humor

his soul is feeble, crunching underneath your shoes like the earth you walk on. his heart is even weaker, it has been tossed, thrown and pulled apart by your hands.

but he stays, because you are the only real thing he has ever known. he stays, because he loves you. and he stays, because he knows that at the end of the day, it is your presence he yearns for. what he doesn’t know, is if you feel the same.

yuta okkotsu is fragile, nimble and most definitely comparable to a grain of sand. he is easily influenced by the wind, swaying and changing shapes whenever he is asked to. he is also insignificant, laying amongst his peers on a beach.

you are everything he is not. you are kind, and gentle, and impatient, and your mind is built like a fortress, unable to be broken when constructed. if he is the sand, then you are the sea. and gojo probably is the seagull. (he drops his shit on yuta whenever he feels like it.)

yuta likes flowers. he isn’t particularly fond of daisies, but he enjoys picking petals wondering if you love him or not. he finds that he likes a lot of things. you are one of them.

you have an odd way of showing your affection, squeezing his arm when you are overly excited, digging your fingernails in his skin or having random bursts of energy even when he knows you slept very little that night. he doesn’t mind the temporary marks or the walls shaking due to your little jumps, as long as he gets to see you grin like you have just discovered what living feels like.

but he is so, so wrong, because you do not live, you survive. although yuta is attentive, he fails to see the signs when he is too engrossed in not letting red seep through his cheeks when you look at him.

he fails to notice the meaning of the « i’m tired » you let out, or the scars on your upper thighs. he fails, and fails, and fails again. can he even do anything right ?

the grain of sand he has become is engulfed by the waves crashing upon the shore, silently nestled in the water, away from the light, away from all sense of rationality. he is far, far gone, drowning but not really. he doesn’t mind being cut off from the surface, the oxygen his survival depends on, because at least he is being sweeped around by your body of water. it is only when he is tossed upon the beach and his lungs receive much needed air that he connects the dots.

a letter is neatly positioned on his desk, perfectly angled and flat against the wood of the table. the writing is neat, and he wonders for a brief moment if the epitome of perfection themself has written this. his eyes go wide when he sees the familiar name and signature on the bottom, scanning over the paper to catch brief mentions of « sorry » and « i can’t do this any longer. »

his legs take him away as he rushes through the halls, daisy petals falling from his pockets, all uneven pointing to the sign that you love him not. he sprints, tumbling into corners and walls as if an angry maki was running after him. it is only once he is in the secured presence of gojo does he let himself take a breath, and his knees go weak.

he cannot bear the truth, pools of tears flooding from his eyes. he realises timberlake was right, you can cry rivers.

when yuta okkotsu reaches his room again, he swallows, and his breathing becomes ragged. his fingers skim along the paper, tracing every outline of every word you have written. his vision can only make it past the title before it becomes blurry, miserable sobs making themselves past his lips.

he stops once again when he has reached the ending. he reads the last sentence over and over until he is sure he can hear your voice reading it for him in his head.

« sincerely yours (because that’s all i’ll ever be), (name). »

you’ll always be his, and he will always be miserable. after all, he is just a grain of sand.

I feel like both jaemin and jaehyun give off some perturbing vibes, i love jeno, specially fanfic jeno ( I'm joking hahaha), but he screams very nice to me , just like Johnny, i mean they can be nasty but it's not in a perturbed way idk if you get me

I think I’ve said this before but I think nearly all of them would be such a disappointment irl lmao. thats why fanfics cool, bc its not likely we’ll ever fuck any of them to find out anyway, and even if we did….. most of them probably wouldn’t live up to the fantasy in our minds idk

(like for example: the way czennies like to convince themselves that Judy must be fucking someone…..meanwhile she on here reading my Jeno fics like the rest of you🤷🏻‍♀️ idk if I had the real thing….why would I be reading abt the fictional one!!! but thats my opinion😬)

if I had to say who’s ever implied they could get nasty nasty it’s probably Taeyong or Ten, but I don’t wanna think about TY fucking and Ten……nctzens have really ruined my ability to fangirl for him. they try to do this with my other biases, like as far as twitters concerned Jeno’s a flaming homosexual baby girl, and he could be who knows! but as a heterosexual cis gendered woman……I’m looking at men who have never discussed their sexual preferences with us as fans and sell us a fantasy and going with that. so. its hard though when it feels like a major part of the fandom are very abrasive with their opinions that are bible according to them……I guess Jeno personally told them all that he lets Jaemin top him idk idk🤨

I don’t think Johnny would be nasty persay BUT I think he’d be one of the least awkward/more passionate and accommodating? like he’d make you feel the most comfortable and dare I say…..talk you through it😮‍💨 I’m sure he could get nastyish tho, but I see him as very ~gentle giant~ in reality, he’s a little too good at that sweet easy going persona for me to not believe it’s not partially true. STILL…….MY FICTIONAL JOHNNY LAYS PIPE DOWNNNN, breeding kink, daddy kink, and medium dom bc he can go soft or hard with you😗 this has a lot to do with maturity as I do see him as one of the more level headed and mature members, but also I’m kind of extreme delusional abt Johnny so……

NCT (OT22) and their Genshin Impact Mains/Favorite Characters

This post is for an exceptionally niche group of people (like myself) who play Genshin Impact and also stan NCT so for that group of people, please enjoy I had so much fun writing this and creating the pictures/aesthetics and really just thinking of the whole thing. (No this did not stem from an absolute want to play Genshin Impact with them shut up.)

Taeyong - Nilou

Taeyong is a Nilou main and I will die on that hill.

I feel like he'd really like her entire aesthetic, probably doesn't play a lot of video games so I see him going for characters looks and aesthetics more than play style (not to say that Nilou is bad I adore her and the few Nilou mains I've encountered). I think he would see a little bit of himself in her, both very caring, hardworking, and sharing the same passion for dance. And her Ult??? Strong believer that he would use it whenever it's full even when there's no enemies around purely because he thinks it's beautiful (Me too Taeyong).

Taeil - Tighnari

You know how sometimes you just look at two things and you just know??? That's how I feel about Taeil and Tighnari. I can't really explain why I think Taeil would main Tighnari. I think like Taeyong, he'd like his overall aesthetic. Loves the big ears and the nature like vibe he has going on with the flowers and green shades. I think he would also really like Tighnari's entire personality. The way he's so smart but also so snarky. I could see Taeil trying to incorporate Tighnari's attitude into his own vocabulary if that makes sense at all?

Johnny - Childe/Tartaglia

Firstly let me just start with the obvious

Being an absolute menace memelord

It was actually a pretty hard tie up about whether he would play Childe or Itto but I ultimately went with Childe as I feel Johnny would definitely like and vibe with both of them but he would like Childe's playstyle more. The double weapon with his skill is definitely a big draw for Johnny. I feel like he'd also really like the double agent kinda vibe Childe has going for him. Being a playable character and friends with the Traveler but also being part of the Fatui??? That's absolutely sick.

Yuta - Kaeya

Yet another one who I feel would choose more aesthetic over playstyle. But I also feel like once he's got a team made he wouldn't really change it so he's probably been a Kaeya main since the very beginning of the game and now at this point he's just attached. Probably has him c6 and maxed the fuck out with artifacts and weapons. Loves his playful yet serious demeanor and wants to be just like him. Also thinks he's gorgeous (me too Yuta, me too).

Kun - Ganyu

Please help this man he sees way too much of himself in Ganyu (but as a Ganyu kinnie, felt Kun). Likes her playstyle more than anything. I think he would like a combined team of Ganyu as the main and some type of Hydro character like Mona who can apply Hydro to enemies while off the field so he can freeze them with Ganyu. He 100% enjoys fighting the Oceanid with her for fun. I can not explain why I just feel it in my bones that he just loves freezing everything in the game that he can, finds it very satisfying.

Doyoung - Amber

BUNNIES 🐰🐰🐰🐰

No but seriously I think he's a bit like Yuta. Probably got her and then just never changed her from his team and now he's attached. But I can also see him really enjoying her playstyle. It's easy to grasp for beginner players and I can't really see him going out of his way to play competitively or anything like that so I think it's perfect for him. And I 100% see him enjoying bow characters more than any other type in the game so it's a win win.

Also loves the fuck out of Baron Bunny and probably wants a stuffed animal of one.

Ten - Yae Miko

He reminds me of Miko so much and I know he would think the same way. He loves her character design so much. The colors, the EARS. Not to mention her personality??? Sexy but also sadistic and a bit twisted???? Sign him the fuck up he's going to main her until the day he dies. And her makeup? I know he'd try to recreate it. Maybe even asks the staff to try it for him for a public appearance.

Jaehyun - Ayato

This one was hard. I had a hard time choosing between Ayato and Ayaka. Ultimately I feel like he'd main both and just have them on a team together but I decided to go for Ayato. I feel like he'd enjoy running around and exploring as Ayato more than Ayaka. I don't think he'd like her sprint all that much (as a former Ayaka main, it can get a bit annoying to control sometimes). Also loves watching Ayato's idles. Probably laughs everytime he pulls Boba out of his sleeve.

WinWin - Kazuha

Like Taeil this was a match that I just knew you know? I feel like he'd enjoy using Kazuhas skill and watching all of the enemies cluster together and then plunge on them and one shot them. Probably has him built amazingly for the sole purpose of trying to one shot the smaller enemies (like hilichurls or mage hilichurls). I think he'd also like the flowy yet stoic samurai aesthetic Kazuha has going on. I could see him wanting to style his hair like Kazuhas for a comeback (though lets be real SM probably would never let him).

Jungwoo - Klee

Loves exploding literally everything.

And if he's co-oping he likes to wait for the person to go AFK and then use Klee to set the ground on fire and kill their character cause he think it's funny. Him and Klee are a chaotic match made in heaven. He also just thinks she's super cute! She was probably the first five star he ever got and became really attached to her and now refuses to take her off his team or use anyone else. I could see him definitely having her built pretty well too. His Klee does some massive damage (part of that being just so he can set his friends on fire and kill them even faster).

Mark - Layla

Probably one of my favorite duos that I thought of. I call them: The overworked and exhausted babies (SM please let Mark rest).

But in all honesty I can definitely see him relating hard to her which was a big reason why he decided to main her (but I could also see the same with Ganyu). I think he would enjoy her playstyle, probably enjoys using shield generating characters such as Layla, Zhongli, Noelle, etc. But he has that personal connection with Layla which is what made him decide on her. I feel like he'd also really like her character design. Likes the witchy, academic look but also how they really encaptured her tired and overworked state in her facial design! I could talk about Mark and Layla all day, like I said it's one of my favorite duos!

Xiaojun - Mona

Same vibes

That is the best way I can describe it. He likes her sprint, thinks it's super unique! He probably lost his 50/50 in all honesty and decided that he was going to get his use out of her but he ended up really enjoying her play style and character. I think he'd also just really enjoy using Catalyst characters, he thinks the playstyle is fun. Probably quotes her all the time too just for fun. He loves the whimsical things she says.

Hendery - Bennett

Another duo that I really like.

I can see Hendery being a healer 100% when it comes to doing domains, but also enjoying Bennett's character of always being unlucky, he thinks it's endearing! I could see him having his Bennett built really well, he probably does some massive damage and some good healing without needing all that many buffs. I could see his Bennett being his pride and joy and loves showing off the damage he can do.

Renjun - Albedo

I am a strong believer in Renjun Albedo supremacy.

I can see him liking Geo characters so he probably had a hard time choosing who to main between all of his options. But he was probably drawn to Albedo both for their shared love of art and the air of mystery that Albedo has about him. I could see Renjun just simply thinking that Albedo is a cool character (strong agree) and he already knows he likes using Geo characters so it's kind of a win win. He gets a geo and he also get a character he just genuinely thinks is neat.

Jeno - Beidou

Simply thinks she's a badass and a boss bitch. (He's right.)

He enjoys the pirate aesthetic and I can see him enjoying claymore characters. He practiced a lot when he started maining her so he could get the timing for her skill Tidecaller just right and deal maximum damage everytime. I can see him and The Dreamies domaining a lot together so his Beidou is probably pretty stacked in terms of artifacts and can do some damn good damage.

Haechan - Yoimiya

As an NCTzen whose Ultimate bias is Haechan

Please let me explain

I also could 100% see him being a Hu Tao main. And I think it would be a situation like Jaehyun where he most likely would have both Hu Tao and Yoimiya on a team together. But I can see him gravitating more towards Yoimiya aesthetically. I think he would really like the fireworks she attacks with and thinks her ult is absolutely gorgeous! I could also see him doing her little sparkler spinny dance idle all the time during dance practices or just for fun. Essentially he's the Marge Simpson meme when it comes to Yoimiya. "I just think she's neat 😃"

Please I love this duo so much and I want it to be true so bad.

Jaemin - Diona

I believe with my whole chest that Jaemin would play as a healer.

And she's a cat.

Oh my god

That's so cute.

He absolutely adores her. He is a proud Diona main and has maxed her out. I'm talking c6, triple crowned glory. She does some massive healing for his teammates (*cough cough* the dreamies *cough cough*) and he loves testing her out against the Oceanid to see how he can change up her artifacts to get even more damage out of her.

Honestly I think he would be a die hard Diona fan, I don't see anyone else having as much passion for her character as he would.

YangYang - Lisa

Fell in love with her the moment he got her and put her on his team and he's never looked back sense. Like Mark he loves the academic witchy vibe she has but also really likes using a catalyst character and shocking enemies. I can see him also really liking her purple rose aesthetic and wanting to replicate it subtly in his own wardrobe if that makes sense?

Shotaro - Gorou

No he does not care that the Genshin meta calls him and his kit useless he is going to make the best DPS Gorou or die trying. He loves him. He thinks his ears and tail are super cute and he loves the little dog that joins Gorou when he uses his skill or burst (like Doyoung I could definitely see him wanting a plush of it).

Spends a lot of his free time domaining and grinding so that he can make the #1 DPS Gorou. I could 100% see him streaming it with NCTzens so he isn't bored and alone. I can see him also really enjoying using bow characters.

Sungchan - Noelle

He has her built like a TANK.

He wears the badge of Noelle main with pride.

I think he would enjoy really everything about her. He likes her character design, the cutesy maid uniform with pieces of armor scattered throughout to show that she's also a knight, the little rose petals in her hair and the fact that she swings around a giant claymore??? She is so badass and he believes that with every bone in his body.

Chenle - Xinyan

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE TURN IT UP

This was the original headcanon that sparked this entire list. I LOVE the duo of Chenle and Xinyan.

I think he would think she's so cool and badass. The rock and roll aesthetic, the flames, he loves everything about her.

I know most people say you can't build Xinyan well for damage but as someone with a Xinyan on my team I think that's bullshit and he has his Xinyan BUILT. When he's doing Domains with the Dreamies he is absolutely carrying and crushing their opponents without much help needed other than for the pure fact of doing elemental reactions.

He grinds the hell out of domains and has her maxed out, triple crowned, the works.

Jisung - Sayu

By far another one of my all time favorite duos.

I love the idea of Sayu main Jisung. I think when you put him and Chenle together they are unstoppable. Jisung uses Sayus swirl to his full advantage and even the physical damage and healing stats on his Sayu absolutely slap. He probably grinds domains with Chenle and though his Sayu probably isn't triple crowned or maxed yet she's probably pretty damn close (he's working on it).

I can see him being a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his Sayu and she'll never fully be built. He wants her to be perfect and so his grind for Artifacts will never really end as he always wants the best next artfact for her.

But that's okay, whatever makes him happy, and it'd be a real big testament of his love and appreciation for the character

Holy crap that took forever. But I had a ridiculously good time writing and creating all of this.

Manga With Me: JJK 0 Rewatch Thoughts

⚠�� Spoiler Warning through chapter 210 and JJK prequel.

In light of recent chapters (tbh, really just to better set the stage for this one shot I wrote), I did a cute lil rewatch of JJK and noticed a few things so here are some rapid fire thoughts for your consideration (and suffering).

Starting with what we know was reinforced by the Shibuya and Hidden Inventory Arcs.

Gojo 🤝 Yuta; The Alienation of Greatness

We know Gojo and Yuta both to be OP (and distant relatives)! But what we perhaps didn't realize is how similar their power ups really were to one another (and to Yuji). Chronologically, we have Gojo and Geto on a "We are the strongest" power trip. They are felled and humbled by musty Toji. Where Geto is traumatized by his powerlessness, Gojo experiences an awakening that is further galvanized as he continues to focus his training post fight. Some details of his transcendence he chooses to conceal from Geto because, even then, he knew that it threatened the foundation upon which they stood. Fast forward to Yuta who, more melancholy and insecure than his mentor, adapts to jujutsu society expeditiously and is able to copy several cursed techniques in a matter of months. Including Toge's cursed speech and reversed cursed energy. As Toge loses consciousness, felled by Geto's attack, Yuta steps up and flawlessly executes Toge's technique (without the debilitating side effect of only speaking in onigiri ingredients). In the moment, he appreciates how incredible Toge is for using such a technique but it really doesn't change the fact that he outclassed Toge in a matter of months. Fast fast forward to Yuji and Megumi. He receives an obvious power up from ingesting Sukuna's finger, sure. But he also has several points where he disappears from Megumi's periphery and sling shots ahead of him in leaps and bounds on the power scale. First, posthumously and under Gojo and Nanami's secret tutelage then again when fighting Hanami after a brief stint with Todo. We don't have a lot of insight into Toge's feelings about his counterparts power up but we see that it ultimately radicalizes Geto and motivates Megumi to request additional training under Gojo. There's a greater conversation to be had about hubris and entitlement (re: why did Geto, an anomaly born of humans, not sorcerers, feel entitled to be on equal footing with Gojo? Yuji and Yuta are relative outsiders to the jujutsu world so imagine legacy curse technique inheritors being lapped by them. Hell, Geto got clapped by Yuta too).

There's Something About Nitta

We know from Shibuya that Nitta has a command of reversed curse energy as she's able to revitalize Yuji and, presumably, Nobara. So why, when at the field hospital where someone is in desperate need of assistance does she call to Shoko? Is it that Shoko's specialization made her a better option, Nitta's relative experience or is Nitta's technique different from Shoko's? Further, what bearing does the answer to that question have on Nobara's status? I'm of the Nobara is Still Alive camp so I'm going to die on that hill (until Gege Akutami gives us something explicit). After linking this, I realized that's actually Nitta's brother who healed Yuji but I will still interject that Nobara is alive into the universe even when I'm dead wrong so I left this paragraph here.

Accessories Matter✨ to Nanako and Mimiko

There's something special about Geto's found family, for sure. While we don't have insight into all of their back stories, I think something integral to their whole plan of a 15 minute siege lay in how Nanako and Mimiko dealt with their victims in this fight. One, they were tasked with going after the managers, not sorcerers as indicated by the hanging bodies dressed in suits. But.. why hang them? First, we know based on Gojo providing some "career counseling" to Ijichi, that managers can also be cursed technique users and able to manipulate cursed energy beyond veils and the like. We don't technically get a great deal of insight into how Mimiko's technique which is funny considering Akutami goes to great lengths to explain most techniques (ahem, Hikari) so I wonder if we'll ever circle back to that because I think it'd be interesting if Mimiko's rope of choice was a bit of Miguel's. Maybe we'll learn more in spite of their fate in Shibuya.

Other things that intrigue me about the twins:

Their awe at Gojo's strength. Like, is that not something Geto warned them about? Seems dissonant. Or it seems like, even after 10 years, he can't bring himself to speak honestly or fondly of the man who outclasses most of jujutsu sorcerers. Maybe he's been carrying that shame. Perhaps not mentioning or planning for Gojo was a mistake, certainly one Kenjaku!Geto took care to avoid a second time.

They echo Nobara's assertion about growing up "special" in the countryside and I wonder if this resentment is meant to parallel Geto's own by way of a microcosm. Take for example, the ability for many sorcerers to fly under the radar in densely populated areas like Tokyo. Then let's look at how, socially out in the sticks, anyone who strays from the norm tends to get hammered down by the weight of small town scrutiny like Saori or the twins. In this instance; however, the "different" are people with an intimate awareness of the supernatural. Now imagine Geto coming upon this sight, right as he's on the brink of questioning everything, and realizing that the two girls are sorcerers who ignorant townspeople are condemning to death when he knows outside of this small pocket of the world, people like them carry the massive responsibility of protecting those same bigots.

As above, we know the girls' techniques are reliant on "props" for their techniques. So I wonder what signified to the townspeople that they were mysteriously responsible for deaths in the village. Like, how had they accurately honed in on two sorcerers? Was it things they could see, curses they attracted..? What if there was a ringer pulling the puppet strings all along as we've seen there are quite a few people who have been playing the long game in universe. Perhaps it was always going to be engineered that Geto would break and defect.

Gojo Gives the Gift of Swag

We know from Megumi that Gojo will randomly request altered uniforms on behalf of his students from Yuji's red hood. Most of the students rock the navy blue uniforms so why the differentiation?

White - a color of purity reserved for priests and brides. Kind of funny given Yuta's unique situation with Rika.

Red - believed to ward off evil; specific iconography to Jizo statues which are the guardian deity of children and travelers. We know that Gojo, given his past, always seeks to protect the youth of his students so this seems endearing. BUT in context of what we now know of Yuji's origin, this reference is especially dark. The site mentions that Jizo protects the souls of unborn babies and children who have died before their parents; in a way, Yuji was marked before he was born. Cursed paintings were created and aborted to come into fruition. What does that say of Kenjaku's handiwork with Yuji?

a/n i couldn’t think of anything and i’m in writers block so i’m shocked i came up with this..? but nct and svt are two of my ults and i love our neoteen crumbs we get every other few months so heres this. stream all of the songs mentioned btw!

with taeil i had to debate a little bit. i even used a randomized wheel thingy and nothing seemed right but i thought about it.. and i’d say our dawn is hotter than day OR come to me. that entire album reminds me of him but mainly those two. especially as a vocalist, i couldn’t imagine him doing a cover to one of those songs. i’d simply just pass AWAY bro omg.

now taeyong wasn’t too hard to find. i thought he’d be just a hhu song but then i remembered his alter ego, bubu. i chose crazy in love for taeyong. tbh i still have a small doubt for him being this song but seungcheols rap in the beginning reminds me of him. especially the tone when he says “blah lah lah”. plus it’s a sweet song in my opinion so the pre-chorus is very taeyong imo.

for johnny i literally just thought about my favorite mingyu era and i WOULD say hot until i remembered the absolute bangers on that album. so instead, i said shadow. i don’t know what it is about johnny but him and mingyu remind me of each other so much. sticker johnny 🤝 shadow mingyu

ironically i chose a japanese song for yuta but THERES A GOOD REASON. i’ve been a consumer of nct content for exactly 826 days and i can assure you that betting is yuta. that song just sounds like you’d listen to it and think about scamming the rest of your way through life. to be honest it was either betting or lilili yabbay because the song has such a interesting concept too. i just said betting because of my favorite jeonghan line, “yes ima bet my all”

i had a similar problem with doyoung like i had with taeil. i just didn’t know like i really had to sit and think about it for a good minute or two. i think doyoung is lie again since it’s nice and slow you know? and like i said for taeil, if doyoung covered this song i would ascend to heaven.

oh gosh jaehyun.. jaes was actually kind of easy? i did think about it for a little bit but i didn’t use as much brainpower as i did with taeil and doie. jaehyun is DEF lean on me. if him and wonwoo just did a collab where they covered lean on me it would be so freaking amazing. all caratzens would be dead i SWEARR

jungwoo is kidult. when you read the lyrics not only do you want to bawl your eyes out but a small, very small, extremely small part of your brain is screaming, “JUNGWOO. JUNGWOO OH MY GOSHHHH”. and i’ll admit i have cried to kidult a few times.. i’m listening to it right now and the tears are coming but i’m fighting them 🫰

THIS WAS THE HARDEST ONE. i listened to my entire seventeen playlist and scrolled through mark pictures on pinterest. after some thinking and a few headaches i have came to an conclusion, mark is fronting. yes you heard me right. that song where vernon starts with “yea, she said she loves my rap”. that song. IT’S JUST SUCH A MARK SONG LIKE THE BEAT THE LYRICS ARE JUSF SO PERFECT FOR MARKIE POO.

i don’t think this song is really popular amongst carats but if you know this song i love you. haechan is no f.u.n. like i dunno i think his voice would fit a song like this. if they featured him on this i’d listen to this more than i listen to my therapist (which is almost never)
