American teacher, writer and actress. She is recognized for having played Luna, the daughter of Count Mora (Bela Lugosi's character in 'Mark of the Vampire') and for creating the iconic look of the vampire. Yvonne De Carlo (Lily Munster) and Maila Nurmi (Vampira) visual designs were based on her appearance .
