M&S Olympics: Mario and Sonic!

these two seem to be the main events when it comes to the olympics, but their rivalry is all friendly, don’t worry

Both Mario and Sonic mainly focus on athletic events, specifically the 100m, 4x100m relay, hurdles and the triple jump. Mario, however, is much more skilled in this last one than Sonic.

During the events, they put up the front of being friendly rivals and show off to eachother (Sonic more than Mario), but outside of these, they seem to be the best of friends. They always support/cheer for the other when they aren’t in the same events, and Mario seems to have accidentally adopted this younger hedgehog on the way (Sonic refuses to admit he sees a father figure in Mario). Aside from the athletic events previously mentioned: Sonic enjoys skateboarding

Mario enjoys the swimming events, badminton, and boxing

Unfortunately, the misinformation has spread too far, and I see it being called "a glitch" almost daily on my dash. On the one hand, it is fantastic that this gave rise to such a wave of awesome arts, but on the other hand, the misinfo is pretty unfair to the game (and imho dismissing ray's work as well but that's my personal pet peeve). Like, you don't even have to credit the creator but at least don't mislabel their edit =<

Back to report that I have seen the first episode of the Fallout tv show on Amazon Prime and it fucking slaps. Along with this, The Last of Us (HBO), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Arcane: League of Legends (obviously), and many more, we can now say for certain that we are in the un-official golden era of video game adaptations (at least if it stays the course *knock on wood*).

(Unfortunately, and sorry as I'm 3 weeks late, because of my responsibilities and scheduling conflicts as I'm obviously a young adult here, as this was originally planned to be released on February 1, 2024)

This month, Ethan Cross Media celebrates Black History Month. I'm all over the places with characters who are voiced or played by African-American and British people as fictional characters in animation/anime (cartoons), live-action, plush/puppet videos, and video games.

M&S Olympics: Shadow and Luigi

This was all very self indulgent because I’m currently very fixated on Mario so why not draw the Mario characters with the characters of my other big, main fixation: Sonic So of course I go to their crossover games lol, and since I liked the 2020 outfits, I wanted to draw something about it. Shadow and Luigi were the first to come to mind, so here they are. Mario and Sonic are next lol also, this isn’t ship art, nor will any of the next ones be, unless i say otherwise (feel the need to clarify) but if anything sparks in you guys, then uhhh idk, good on you i guess i can’t really do much about that lmao if anyone is interested, i also planned which events/sports i think some characters would be really good at (based solely on the tokyo 2020 game tho) in this one, i imagined Shadow and Luigi would be mainly gymnasts, but aside from gymnastics:

Shadow enjoys hurdles, surfing and fencing

and Luigi enjoys archery and table tennis

Question for us Kirby fans:

CORRECTION: Would you prefer if a movie about Kirby was a 3D animation like the (Illumination) Mario movie or a live action film like the (Paramount) Sonic movie?
