Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

Twst coming back at us again with the least expected romanization! thank you everybody (oh god my inbox) (no it's great, I literally asked for this and the reactions have been INCREDIBLE, thank you all!)

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)

#ace attorney tag #maybe i should tag this narumitsu or something. but i dont really care.#gearing up to rereading/illustrating bits of my fic i suppose...i think nick really is too dense to realise he's in love with edgeworth #without some scheming fop trying to intrude. i love villains like kristoph..villains can be fun..witnessing their pathetic folly..#or more like edgeworth would never have mentioned his feelings ever in his life if he wasn't sure phoenix reciprocates.#i want to see it this way because Falling in love during childhood with the person you're going to end up with. is not relatable #there have to be Situations that make you Realise.#as with orufrey i adore the idea of people not working out their romance with that person until their 30s+#but... i mean. even with orufrey i often think how alaira could be qifrey's ex. and oru having been pursued by noble fops through his work #there is that delicate sliver of time before orufrey start living together that such believable situations could have happened.#Then the relief of politely and amicably extricating themselves from those untenable situations #the idea of falling in love age 7 and saving your first kiss for age 35 or something is all very well but more relatable is #people realising how they really feel whilst trying something that ends up feeling wrong.#The comfort and joy of living with your dearest one as if it's platonic - much preferable to trying anything more with anyone else.#But i doubt i will ever portray that or mention it further. it is indeed very delicate to me.#and i really am an OTP FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kind of person who can barely bear to consider this anyway...NOT a polyshipper i'm afraid !#so i wouldn't mind either if they do have their first kiss in their lives age 35 with each other either. #she is like if og fairy tale rapunzel was raised as an unsocialized but very loyal and rabid guard dog instead of a daughter hope that help #but so many thoughts of shri’iia and her unyielding devotion #since she /IS/ a paladin. and if oaths comes from a person’s conviction and less from a deity’s blessing #I think she can get rather intense lol. but now instead of following a chaotic evil spider goddess she’s now using that devotion #to follow her newfound broken oath (path to freedom)!!!!!!#also I think there’s something sauurr scrumptious abt her previous oath being a blessing from a goddess (which in turn she had to be devote #to 24/7 or else she won’t have access to her powers ) vs new oath stemming solely from her own will and conviction #I was reading up on the paladin lore and the idea that they just believe in themselves /so/ hard they just manifest their powers is #hilarious and frankly does not make sense but the thematic change of where shri’iia’s oath charges stems #from - from something transactional to something innate is compelling enough to me that I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense !!!!#also something about how her oaths is now innate and tied to her own conviction -> leads her to actually find her sense of self and self #worth again bc before she had NONE……. olivia wilde nod gif

These two specific panels of Toma were the thing that made me think over a year ago “Man. I want to be like that too” as in KAITO drawing expression because—

The subtle shift of emotion, it’s present all throughout the manga, but this is what sold it for me. For no particular reason, it’s not even the best example, it was just what sealed the deal to me

#it’s the way his eyes open slightly in surprise when Seiya tells him that his friends refused to give an explanation when asked about #what happened in what I think is a way of them showing they care about Toma #and that surprises Toma since I believe he might have been doubtful his friends would forgive him after that #which man. idk maybe it’s because it hit home in some other things. it’s so good #Kaito handles the way the characters express themselves so good I’m always in awe anytime I reread any volume #it’s just. they feel so real in their flaws and mistakes and how they take it. for example our dear protagonist #man he is a wreck. but it’s understandable since he is going through a stage in life where he is still understanding himself!#and KAITO depicts it so nicely and lets him be awful. and let’s everyone be it too. they fuck up yes! but it’s not the end of the world #and he shows that too. how it’s okay to make mistakes but you have to owe them and grow from them not get stuck in them #it’s the little me inside of myself that was making me weep I believe #Ao no flag #blue flag #toma mita #yeah this is about volume 7 too #well i dont know it’s the way Seiya is older sibling anguish that hit me with a bat personally because 🤝. same.#and just. #i have so many thoughts about adam and kate and their dynamic with john and it's mainly that #obviously anything about john said by the ghoul has to be taken with a whole handful of salt. obviously #because it was actively trying to manipulate sam and dean #but when the ghoul said that younger adam bugged kate 24/7 to call john i believe it. just because it makes sense #he was young! he wanted to know who his dad was. and that's understandable #and the fact that adam HAD to beg 24/7 for kate to call him....i think kate knew something was off about john #i really do. and the fact that john only showed up on adam's birthdays and only ever took him out to baseball games #which are very crowded very PUBLIC places where anything can be observed by bystanders #i think kate set that up as well. without adam's knowledge #but adam eventually grew disillusioned with john as well because from a kid's perspective #who's had to watch his mother work herself to death to support the both of them #john WAS a douchebag who only ever came around to try and fail to play house #he didn't bother trying to raise adam he didn't pay child support he didn't do ANYTHING #he just showed up pretended to act like a father and then left. and adam and kate were left there still #with their bills. with adam still having to raise himself. with kate still working the night shift and breaking her back to support them #it makes me think about how it affects adam in the future. like his behavior #because adam as we've seen has always tried to look at things from different perspectives and hear people out #in 5x18 he was like okay i'll hear you guys out even though i don't like you. give me one good reason #and in 15x08 he advocates for sam and dean even though he doesn't want to. he talks michael #but it's so interesting to me. because the line that's always gotten me about 15x08 is 'you still care about that? after he left you in the #cage?'#and it's like. adam IS genuinely trying to understand where michael's coming from. he DOES understand michael's love for his father #but when concerning the father it's like #he DOES tend to be black and white about it. john was a shitty person so therefore he's not his dad #god is a shitty person who left michael in the cage therefore michael shouldn't care what he thinks. or about him in general #et cetera et cetera #the issue of the father is the one issue that adam is black and white about. and that is to say fuck them we don't need them #it's SOOOO interesting to me. really #kate rambles #adam milligan

Asriel & Toriel | Chara & Asgore

So, we all know the Dreemurr family loved each other very much.

However, parents and kids can have favorites, and I believe that Asriel and Toriel / Chara and Asgore were specially close.

Here’s proof for each duo (that I got from memory):

Asriel & Toriel:

- Asriel/Flowey, even after trying really hard and failing every time, really believed that being with TORIEL would make him feel love again, feel like himself again. And I think that says a lot.

To be honest while I searched through screenshots, Toriel seems to love her children pretty equally (she is THE goat mom so I get it). But Asriel definitely seems to have been closer to her than his father (not that he doesn’t love him as well of course).

- Toriel obviously still misses Asriel deeply, and has a lot of regrets. She is a bit too drunk in this scene but I like to think she managed to recognize Asriel in flowey somewhat. But that’s more like self indulgence on my part.

- Asriel/Flowey still loves Toriel very much. Even before Frisk fell into the underground and he still had his view of “kill or be killed” - he still was empathetic enough to give her a glass of water everytime she passed out. So he cares, always have, just doesnt want to admit it.

(I would also mention how Flowey still hanged around in the ruins all the time. Some would say he was just waiting for humans to fall down or something, but I say he just liked to be around Toriel and I will die on this hill).

- I always found it interesting how Asriel hesitates before saying Toriel’s name here. Of course, he didn’t mention Asgore because Frisk didn’t spend that much time with him but considering previous proof, I’d like to include this here anyway.

Annnnd that’s all I could find (from memory) for them! Feel free to add to this!

Chara & Asgore:

Surprisingly for me, I found a lot! Really thought it was gonna be the other way around here.

- They both seem to have a great love for flowers and gardening! They probably bonded a lot through it.

- Asgore specifically recalling the “feeling of hope” in Chara’s eyes. I thought it was sweet :)!

- It’s heavily implied that Chara was the one that made the sweater. Asriel could have helped, but considering that in the No-Mercy run, Chara doesn’t have a special comment towards the macaroni art that was also made for Asgore - you could safely assume that Asriel made the macaroni art and Chara made the sweater. It was also probably very big and a lot of work, Asgore is a very big monster after all.

- Flowey being extremely sure that Asgore would show the souls to Chara, even after not showing it to Asriel (since that was probably one of the ways Flowey tried to get to them). You can argue it would be because Chara/Frisk would be the last human and Asgore would show it when fighting them..but it doesn’t really fit with the way Flowey says it I think, it was very specifically Chara.

- Chara and Asgore shared love for tea... and how Asgore’s favorite tea is the golden flower tea. Since golden flowers only bloomed in the underground after Asriel and Chara died, and it was Chara’s favorite flower, They probably told Asgore about how you can make tea with them and reccomended it to him. I wish they could have enjoyed it together.

- And also how Chara’s favorite flower is literally everywhere in new home.

Aaaand that’s it from them as well! Feel free to add more if you find it also!

no ok we finished episode 2 what they have done to katara is unforgivable. they have completed zapped every ounce of her personality away. why. why. look how they massacred my girl

I once saw someone selling mountain crystals, small pieces, for 100 bucks. So many scammers with stones. Wonder if that person is a scammer themselves, just bullshitting, or has the worst supplier ever.

it would have to be the worst supplier ever because in less than 5 min i tracked down a wholesale supplier who will give me twenty five 3mm lab-grown sapphires for £38

that's about £1.50 each. so £3 for a pair of earrings assuming you only used one in each

thing is i could make stirling-silver-and-sapphires earrings and sell them for the price of claire's costume jewellery and still be making a huge profit on it. it's just that nobody would believe it's real at that price.

#i prommy real gold and real silver in the small amounts used for jewellery? pennies also #it would cost MAYBE #MAYBE #REALLY STRETCHING IT.
