question I've been thinking about.... Is Magnetite and Macca essentially the same thing?
Cause I think from all the videos I've watched on MegamiTensei it was Magnetite in the earlier games (1-if i believe?) then it transitioned to Macca and has been that way ever since.
So, are they the same or different things? Curious....
Should do my own research too, but figured I'd ask to see what others thoughts were.

Mineral nanoparticles could potentially act as nanozyme mimics, assisting fungi in breaking down organic pollutants
A study led by Dr. Guanghui Yu from School of Earth System Science, Tianjin University, delved into the role of magnetite nanoparticles as nanozyme mimics. Employing the model white rot fungus Phanerochaete chrysosporium, Le Chang and Guanghui Yu investigated the degradation of 4,4′-dichlorobiphenyl (PCB15) with and without the presence of magnetite nanoparticles. Notably, the addition of these nanoparticles substantially bolstered the breakdown of PCB15 by Phanerochaete chrysosporium, with degradation rates reaching 42% and 84% after 3 and 5 days of co-cultivation, respectively. Microscopic assessments of fungal-mineral samples were further performed by Le Chang and Guanghui Yu at the National Protein Science Research Facility's Beamline BL01B within the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF). They observed magnetite particles adhering tightly to fungal hyphae, exhibiting uneven distribution on hyphal surfaces.

This Beta Pokemon of the Day might look like a Magneton, but rest assured, this is a completely different species!
Magnetite here appears to be a middle evolution to Magnemite and Magneton. A curious divergence...

I’ve been very sick, but I’m finally coming around to make some fakemon. Here is a “Proto” mon based on @ elesteva076 ‘s #ProtoNeoForms trend on Instagram which reimagines mons in a past or future setting. Here is my take on a magnetite/lodestone Magnezone.

Iron Fingers
Electric/Normal type
Paradox pokemon
Height: 4’3
Weight: 160 lbs
Text 1: a strange magazine lists this creature as the result of a scientific experiment from the future gone horrendously wrong! It uses its many fingers to get a feel for its surroundings.
Text 2: how this thing remains afloat is a scientific mystery! It appears similar to an eldritch horror depicted in a violet book.
Text 3: be not afraid! Many believe this creature follows a higher power. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know for sure, as it has no mouth to communicate.
