You may feel drained, or require great sacrifices to achieve something. It also serves as a reminder not to get too full of yourself or, "you could prevent your wishes coming true."

I found this interesting because of all the references to wishes. I don't know much about Madoka Magica but I know wishes play a big role. I interpret this card as either referring to moments or themes seen in both yours and Madokas life, potentially kinfirming this kinship. Or The phrase "may come in a way you don't expect" could mean a different character or au etc. of Madoka Magica could be what you're being drawn to.

!!!! I first joined the kin community back in late 2017-early 2018, and I started editing for it sometime in late 2018 going into 2019 because of Danganronpa and how abundant it was back then! Danganronpa was the first source I edited for and that lasted a few months before moving to a multifandom blog, and then met some of my closest my internet friends through both, DR wasn't my first kin-source though. My first kin was Homura Akemi, I kinned even before I knew what spiritual kin was to me! Way back in the beginning of it all. I've been into PMMM since the year it came out and have watched it yearly since, sometimes even multiple times a year/in a row to show new friends and especially because it's a special interest! Homura is also obviously my longest kin, spanning at least a decade or however long it's been, and has been selfhood-level since always, before and after I knew what the terms were! My first kinfirm when I learned about the community and kin terminology was Tracer (OVW), then Moon (PKMN), Sunset Shimmer (MLP) and Atsuko Kagari (LWA)‼️ I've grown a lot and have gotten a lot of new identities since then, but it's so comforting to know so little has changed even still, I am all of these, and they're all so important to me. — I tell this memory a lot but it's one of my favorites, the time I was walking with Lillie on the beach (Selene canon) and I fell onto a Pyukumuku that left me with a bruised, purple, swollen, sore ass for a solid week 😭 HSNDKDMDK I couldn't tell if Lillie was laughing or flailing in a panic but it was funny to tell everyone else later! I think we were coming back from shopping and we were on our way to the Professors' house in the evening,, the view was pretty at least! oh, I ended up keeping the Pyukumuku btw! We got along just fine, we made our amends 💖

Danganronpa is among the ones that seem the most heavily prominent... as for the kins it's wonderful you've kept them around for so long and still meaning so much to you. The memory is a very enjoyable and funny one indeed, thank you very much for sharing.
