You can't give me devotion to someone who saved you and you give your life to them simultaneously in an attempt to repay them and save them from themselves and a never-ending fate. Throwing your soul away, the very thing that you are, to change it, put a negative focus on you so maybe they don't get hurt or worse. No matter what it did to you, no matter how long it takes. It's Homura Akemi all over again, all over again, all over again, all over again, do you understand what I'm getting at. It's the unconditional devotion, the self-inflicted wounds but it doesn't matter because you're so happy they're with you through it, becoming a monster or a beast in the name of both love and fear, the time loops because of course there are themes with time involved. It's only having each other and thinking if you died today in their stead you would be saving them but it would be the one final thing that breaks them.
