got the true monk experience (or one of them really) tonight. homebrew race that gets up to 3 bonus actions if they bring down enemies in combat, and using ki to flurry of blows.

ended up with 2x attack for normal action, 2x for bonus no1, 2x for bonus no2 and patient defense for bonus no3

bajsbdjs hi hello it's me, the anon who was complaining about childe always finding his way into my teams, and i come bearing great news:

i finally got alhaitham!!

i slapped on all the artifacts i prefarmed for him + harbinger of dawn (bc i don't have any good 5 star sword and he needs more crit rate) and wow. just. wow.

for context, my alhaitham is stuck at lvl 70 atm with his talents barely leveled up (only his e is up to level 3 lmao while his basic is at 2) and let me tell you, the way i CACKLED when i realized that not only does he absolutely shred all the bosses/camps i've thrown him at before his dendro infusion even ends, but he also kills the wenut faster than my childe (who has r1 skyward harp, 5-8-8 talents, and honestly better artifacts) does. i am on the floor, dying of laughter and honestly i don't think childe or i could ever recover from the fact that alhaitham outdps-ed the character who carried me through every boss, abyss, and domain in just one day.

to say that childe is pissed would be an understatement.

he's livid. he watches you dote and praise your beloved new dps, al dente or whatever his name is, spoil him with enhanced artifacts blessed by yours truly - a luxury he was deprived of despite his show of devotion for you, and just overall ignores him altogether when he's right there.

the brunette seethes when the newest addition to the team glances at him at hearing your detailed comparison, and he nearly shoots his hydro arrow in reflex when the insignificant vermin's eyebrows raises - as if mocking him.

oh, he'll show you.

he'll show you that he's stronger. better.

just like how he had always proven himself countless times on your journey.

at the end of the day, you'll come back to him again. he'll make sure of that.

since whb's half anni has passed, i thought i'd do a progress check to reflect on how much has happened btwn now and this post

general info

i say mostly cause i just recently broke the f2p status and bought bp for ppyong

i refuse to buy packs and in the future i'll prob be very selective over who i pick for bp (aka i wont buy every bp), so for the most part i'll just be having the f2p experience

this section is for me to look back on in the future when i do progress posts. i'll break down this section into multiple parts similar to my prev post for consistency

STORY

honestly, its interesting in concept. since sadly only 1 chapter has released btwn now and my last post so thoughts havent really drastically changed

ch5 imo wasnt really a full on hades chapter. yes, it takes place in hades and yes we get some intro abt hades, but i think this was supposed to act more like a bridge to tartaros, which is prob why we didnt have any h scenes w any hades chars aside from levi. ofc we'll get back to it being hades-focused eventually, but the story for a while is most likely gonna pivot to tartaros bc of that big lore drop abt mammon at the end

i assume we'll prob be introduced to the cherubs in tartaros bc of selaphiel txting us near the end + it being mentioned at the end that theres a hub of angels in the lab, and hopefully part 2 of mammon's h scene. it was strange at first for mammon to only have 1 h scene, compared to satan or levi that had 2, but w him implying theres probably gonna be a part 2 in his h scene + we'll most likely see him again in ch6 (or however many chapters tartaros will be played out), we'll prob experience part 2 in his home country. tbh that prob just me inhaling MASSIVE hopium since mammon isnt rlly that popular but i can dream ok-

i hope us being in tartaros doesnt last for just 1 chapter. you cant condense the experiments tartaros went through to create a clone of mammon only for them to fail + bring up the fact that the seed is prob also in tartaros in just 1 chapter. well— technically you can, but not at the pace chapters are at atm. chapters have roughly 15 parts of story on the main branch, and imo that much info abt tartaros cant be condensed into 1 chapter unless if they make the story bits like WAY longer than what they normally do

GAMEPLAY

tl;dr as an endgame player, its too easy 💀

working on the spreadsheet ever since the games 1st month of release and now just recently testing multiple team comps, the "meta" is so monkos HSHFJDJ

this game is INSANELY dependent on you having more than 1 dps/tank light card. light is also just an unstoppable element and i wish the game was balanced a bit more to let other elements shine

enemies are now way too easy to defeat. ik i prob shouldnt be complaining abt this but pls im a pgr and neural cloud player at heart I NEED SOME CHALLENGE

ch3 and ch4 were prob the most tedious and awful chapters, but at least they actually made me think when it comes to battles. now i just place down chars and let it play in the bg while i go do smth else. ofc this may just be bc i have a team that im comfortable w using everywhere, but id like to see at least a bit more "challenge" outside of holy coin portal

also, for weekly achievements, lvling artifacts is not a great requirement

i only pull when theres a new s rank or when mammon is moved to standard, so its very, VERY rare compared to avg users. having the artifact req is essentially forcing me to pull during those gaps just so i could fulfill a weekly req which sucks. i also dont need to lvl anymore artifacts in general for my team comp. lvl 15 is the bare minimum i need to get through all content w ease, anything after that is just a small boost tbh

on the note of daily/weekly requirements, there needs to be more of them

i mean in a sense of theres still gonna be 9 daily achievements, but you get more options on HOW you get to the 9 daily achievement req. most gachas that ive played always have more options than necessary to fulfill the overall requirement to get all rewards, so having this strict number w strict reqs is rlly not that great tbh

RESOURCES

thoughts from last time still havent rlly changed. pies and candies especially are still rng dependent which sucks, and now there gonna revamp pancakes while also keeping the old pancakes ???? theres way too many currencies (w some even having very little to no use) atp which can and will get overwhelming for new players

GACHA

i hate solomon seals. you can tell that red keys were supposed to be the main gacha currency if you ever look at old packs, but smth happened along the way and now we have seals

pity is also way too high for what we're earning atm. based off of f2p earnings, every week we get roughly 1 pull of red keys, maybe 2 pulls of yellow keys (red and yellow keys are more dependent on the key boxes which again, dependent on rng), and 1 pull of solomon seals. this doesnt include the stuff earned outside of dailies/weeklies, and i think there should be more ways to earn said currency through dailies/weeklies and not be so dependent on either paying or pulling chars

speaking of pity, i wish we had pity for both of the standard banners

i also wish theyd separate char and artifacts into their own banners. that way, if someone has a char but needs their sig, they can just pull in the artifact-only banner and try to get said sig

tl;dr in general i wish everything wasnt so strict and rng dependent, also wish numbers made sense like why do we get at least 5 red keys a week when 1 pull is 3, JUST GIVE ME 6 KEYS ATP

so yeah thats all for now lmao. im pretty sure i have a lot more to say abt this game but my minds at a blank atm, so ig thatll be saved for the next progress post which will be around 1st anni

So I've been getting back into FGO as of late, and during one of the recent promotions I got extremely lucky and got Baobhan Sith(Which surprised me, as since I haven't even completed the human incineration arc yet, I thought servants were supposed to be locked off if they hadn't been encountered yet? Or does it vary based on the summoning event?*)

Anyhow, she's just brilliant. Best archer I've got access to atm, killer personality, exquisite aesthetic and I'd let her do anything to me if it made her feel good

But...I just unlocked her stage 3 ascension and now I'm wondering what emotional rollercoaster is coming when I eventually get to the lostbelts

*Did also notice that most of the my room content is locked off despite being 3rd ascension and bond lvl 5, so maybe that's what's locked...idk

Zayne is sexy but I feel absolutely no chemistry with him and same goes for Xavier SKSKSK THEYRE OKAY BUT I was so drawn to Raf right from the start so I have like a very biased opinion KAKSKSK I will say that I think they’re all very interesting and I’m eager to learn about everyone’s lore, but I am just kinda gravitating more towards Rafayel

I’ve almost pulled 150 so I’m looking forward to that free 5* ( it said select one so I hope I really do get to pick it bc I want the abysswalker pair )

THE GAME IS GOOD VERY ADDICTIVE I like the battle style and getting to customize mc for the photos is nice! I was telling my friends this in the group chat but mc has to be skinny and that made it difficult for me bc as a chubby girl, I had to make mc’s face chubbier to look like me SKSKKS

the Photo Booth concept is so cute and I can’t wait to get more poses with him! I think he’s only darling lvl 30 atm but IM TRYING

I have 5 min to write this before work so She Hulk ep 2:

-Something about Jen being fired for doing the right thing feels too real in a way I can’t explain atm

-Love the dynamic between Bruce and Jen, it feels really lived in

-This show is funny. I genuinely don’t understand all the “the MCU is so cringe with the jokes” thing I see all the time.

-Jen bringing her bestie up w her ❤️

-The MCU is doing this somewhat jarring thing where it’s expanding the presence of super beings rapidly. There’s all the government departments and high tech prisons and low lvl baddies out there in a way that implies it’s now routine. That feels more like the comics but it’s a big departure from ‘The Avengers are random special people and we as a society don’t know how to deal with it’ vibe of earlier phases. It’s sensible things would develop but it does feel jarring both here and in Ms Marvel. Especially because the MCU more or less hand waves The Blip and its repercussions.

-Anyway I love Jen, fantastic choice in casting.

I managed to hit 20k on Flora defense after seeing u tell someone else Dorm Tweels are good for the test :D These are the teams I've been using and I'm at 95678 atm so I doubt I can get SSS by the time the exams are over but I'm hoping to at least try and improve on my Cosmic Defense Score

Below is a recreation of most of the teams I've been using

Minus for this one where it refused to give me the proper person ;-; I've been using a Beans Floyd lvl 95 with everything max as the support

Hello! For Fire Defense, I strongly suggest you replace Silver with either Dorm or Halloween Jade. Dorm Jade is nice since he has the HP, but he will lead to higher chances of overkilling since he not only buffs both Azul POW stats, but his own POW stat is buffed by Trey. If you can level Idia further, then your team can have higher overall HP.

For Cosmic, maybe you can do:

Dorm Floyd

Dorm Jade

Dorm Azul

Dorm Cater

SUPPORT: Dorm Trey

That team can break 17k, and killing by 5-1 shouldn't be too much of a problem since all the Octa duos are maxed out.

my first d&d character, Ichabod “The Bod Wrangler” Wrangler. I have his whole backstory planned out that i’ll do in a separate post, but here’s his personality :•)

he’s a (lvl 1 atm) barbarian water genasi pirate, who was once human. He’s 5”11, 33 years old, roughly 200lbs, and chaotic neutral alignment.

He’s brave to the point of extreme recklessness, not because he’s unaware things will go sideways, but because he’s obnoxiously confident of his ability to handle himself no matter which way things go.

Loud and boisterous, often not taking into account how loud he’s talking about “not-strictly legal activity” (as he frequently calls it.) He can also throw back his weight in alcohol, his favorite drink of course being rum.

While not malicious at heart, he often acts without thinking, and because it’s been a long time since he’s been part of a crew he forgets to think about how his actions affect others.

Trusts people miraculously easy considering his previous occupation and personal history. His gullibility often gets him into sticky situations, but he’s handled himself so far.

Got his nickname from his old crew where he was first mate and often took care of the bodies (dead or alive) that his captain didnt want to deal with.

Basically, as described under the “flaws” in his character sheet, he is Pirate Chad. And he is my bestie.

hi lily!! how're ya? I just woke up from a 1 & half hour nap- unintentionally played nap roulette again. I need to fix my addiction w that risky game cuz even in the mornings i do wake up after 6 hours and i'm like 'lemme just stay like this for 5 mins in bed' & next thing ik it's been an hour or so ;-;

Anyways i dropped by cuz i wanted to talk abt hsr after seeing ur question! I think it's def a lot less time consuming than genshin. Genshin personally takes me more time w all the artifact grinding, resin, dialies, exploring etc. and my net is the worst in genshin for SOME reason but in hsr it's fine. It's a daily ritual for me to be stuck in the loading page in GI for eons.

It will be time consuming to do story quests in HSR so i rec u to do those when u have free time on weekends or u cud do em in snippets. Tho if u start u will have to progress thru them to unlock various functions as u lvl up. So download it when u have plenty of free time. After I reached a certain point in the story in Jarilo VI everything def became a lot lighter for me(It took me 2-3 days n i was playing for many hours on each day). I've played many other games in the past & in my personal opinion, in games that are still continuously updating w new content, it feels easier to play the more closer u started it to the launch day. Aka closer to lauch day= easier to keep up w content. I haven't played GI for days atm cuz of time (T_T) but hsr is lighter w that imo. Also GI more key smashing.

In GI there's so much to catch up w ;-; (i started around Sumeru's release) and i keep on feeling the need to pull for a char when they're out cuz i don't know how long until when they're out next & some ppl r speculating that GI will keep its servers up for 4 years, making me feel like i need to get all the chars i want immediately. Also some of the new content from time to time favours older players more. In HSR even if i don't get a char (lose 50/50) it's not a big deal cuz ik this was the 1st time they were out, the game's p new n they will come back multiple times again w me still playing the game n it's only a matter of time b4 i get em ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways that's my experience so far, feel free to decide based on it. I wish asks has a read more insert option in them- istg my texts r the longest. -pluviophile anon
