I already made a post about how Pete and Lucius are constantly next to each other in episode 3, but can we all just appreciate this moment right here from episode 2, before they've talked? Lucius is sitting as far away from the others as he can, and specifically far away from Pete, and yet even though Roach is the one talking in this moment Pete is looking right at Lucius. This man is so in love folks.

lucius being arguably the gayest person in the show and also not being impressed by blackbeard (“i thought he’d be taller :/”), the coolest and hottest and baddest gay bitch in the caribbean, will never not be funny to me. he was intimidated by ed, sure. he was smart enough to be afraid of him. but like, when ed’s sitting on the capstan getting praised by everyone for predicting the weather, lucius is just kinda in the background absently picking his nails and looking very bored. he was more impressed by calico jack than he was by ed.

Look, all I’m saying is that if the Lucius/Black Pete wedding arc doesn’t get *at least* a full episode I will riot. I need 30 full minutes of Pete freaking the fuck out bc he can’t think of how to propose and needs everything to be absolutely perfect while the entire rest of the crew just groans and tries to tell him that there’s literally no way in the world Lucius would ever say no.
