What if the entire Ever After Academy cast and story took place in a more Wolf Among Us Setting?
Whitethorn becomes a town in Connecticut filled with fairy tale characters who've escaped the magical realm after a great war that caused most of the realm to be destroyed by the fae who wished to take over the land for themselves.
The triad becomes the peacekeepers integrating the fables into the non-magical realm, giving them a temporary place to stay while war wages in the magical realm. The story starts with the funeral of FMC and MMC's uncle who is suspected to have been murdered by a fable, though they don't have enough proof to determine which fable did it. FMC takes it upon herself as the newly ascended Path Finder to find her uncle's murderer.
MMC works as the Light Keeper, keeping the lighthouse light on and being a welcoming presence to any new fables that come through the portals. His job is also to keep the Whitethorn trees alive and well to help keep the fae from finding them.
Arin still works as the Guardian, protecting the magic library, and labyrinth, and assisting FMC and MMC in helping stomp civil disputes between the fables living in Whitethorn.
Nora Le Fay is an ally of the triad, assisting with magical barriers and upkeep of the magical library. Nora is also the team's main healer, assisting in treating fables who are infected with hexes or curses from the fae. She currently acts as a librarian at the university library as her cover while assisting with the magical library and labyrinth underneath the school.
Lucas Charming is the heir to the Garnet Throne, his family sent him to Whitethorn in a show of trust to the White Queen, who is assisting them in keeping the fae at bay in their kingdom. Lucas works as a type of bodyguard for MMC as well as assisting in keeping more rowdy fables in line. Lucas works as a docent at the lighthouse, assisting with tours and showing fables around.
Abel is a brooding woodsman, tasked by the White Queen to tend to the Whitethorns, keeping the plans around Whitethorn alive. He's the most muscular of the group and acts as the team's tank fighter when in need, however, he's distrusting of most people and is rude when provoked, making him not as effective as an ally in the beginning.
Lavinia La Guin, the Snow Queen, travels to Whitethorn due to FMC's family promising to return her heart in exchange for help creating stronger barriers to keep the Fae away, as the Winter Kingdom is currently untouched by the Fae due to the Snow Queen's intense protective spells around her kingdom. However, with the death of the previous Pathfinder, FMC is left to strike a new deal to get the witch's help in finding her Uncle's killer. Lavinia resides as the owner and bartender of an Ice Bar in Whitethorn, a common hangout for some of the less moral fables.
Jack Frost is Lavinia's younger half-brother, another child of Titania, Jack assists Lavinia in keeping their kingdom safe. He communicates between the two realms using a communication stone.
Ezra Wolf works as a bouncer at the Ice Bar Lavinia owns. He is a gruff and well-respected security presence at the bar as well as a great keeper in intel due to his ability to sink into the shadows.
More to come, but just the first bunch of ideas.

No Upside Down steddie AU where Steve gradually meets the members of Hellfire (-Eddie) in and out of school and they all come to befriending him really fast because “Steve Harrington is actually a good dude”
But Eddie fucking hates it.
And this only spurs Hellfire on because they think him getting mad over Steve Harrington is fucking hilarious.
Jeff who takes a foods class in third period and Steve does to and then the teacher pairs them for a baking project and Jeff gets to go to Casa Harrington. And he realizes rather quickly that Steve really likes baking and cooking and actually knows what he’s doing and that he’s not just taking the class for an easy A.
Brian (I’ve named him Brian, yes), meets Steve in Art class. Like Jeff, he thought Steve was taking it for an easy A but when seats are changed and they sit together he realizes that, no, Steve’s actually kind of good at drawing (particularly scenery). They get to talking about one of Steve’s sketches and the rest is history.
Gareth doesn’t officially meet Steve until later, but he does see him out with the kids at the arcade. Gareth works at the arcade and there’s this particular group of kids that just irks him— turns out they’re Steve’s gaggle. He watches in begrudging amusement while Steve rounds them up like a pro.
Then Gareth officially meets him after Hellfire one day. It’s fucking windy and he’s just leaving to school to go home when the papers and sheets he was holding are fucking torn from his hands. Steve grabs the papers— there after some kind of sports practice— and makes sure Gareth has them secured in his bad before leaving with a dorky finger-waggle wave.
And Eddie just downright refuses.
And then the school year ends and Steve graduates. And he’s convinced he doesn’t have to see Steve again.
Until, of course, Mike Dustin and Lucas join.
Jeff, Gareth, and Brian are all ecstatic to share their own run-ins of Steve Harrington to the three boys who so clearly idolize him. Gareth happily recalls how Steve “tamed” them in the arcade every time he came in.
Eddie sits in brooding silence.
And then Lucas joins the basketball team. And sure— Jeff’s on the volleyball team— but basketball jocks are so much worse than volleyball jocks.
Mike and Dustin, however thrown out of orbit they were at first, seem to settle in eventually and learn to plan around it. They think that anything that makes Lucas happy is a good thing (even if it did take a bit of a talk with Will for them to realize).
But Eddie? Eddie can’t stand it.
Which is why he refuses to move the date for the final campaign.
But Eddie doesn’t even get to introduce Vecna before Steve Harrington himself is all but breaking down the fucking door.
Eddie has this whole argument in his head that quickly dwindles when he sees the pure anger in Steve’s eyes (and also because Steve is really fucking pretty holy shit).
Steve tells Dustin Mike and Erica to pack up and get to the game before he drags them and you know what?
They listen.
Including hard ass Erica Sinclair.
And then idk Steve and Eddie get into a whole fight about.
But Steve makes it very clear that he doesn’t appreciate Eddie making Lucas feel like he can’t be happy doing DnD and basketball because that poor boy deserves nice things dammit.
And Eddie sleeps on it over the weekend before hunting Lucas down first thing Monday morning to apologize.
Lucas forgive Eddie (against Eddie’s protest because let the man grovel) but makes Eddie also apologize to Steve.
Which Eddie does by showing up to the Harrington Estate.
Eddie apologizes and they get high together and the rest is history.
.
I might actually make this into something, it’s already pretty fleshed out but eh

But when Lucas shows up at the ultrasound, that undid me. Like I had a nice little cry about that. I, yeah. That that stuff, especially if you've ever suffered pregnancy loss is, it's hard to explain the terror of going to those appointments because there's no guarantee that they're gonna go right. And you are with a stranger who, you know, you feel like a guinea pig and it's much easier to face tragedy when you have your person with you. But there's, there's nothing worse than when the tech is like, can you just go sit back in the waiting room? I'll have someone come talk to you in a minute. You know, like it's, it's really bad. And. so I. I completely peyton's terror. And what's weird to me is that we had to depict this stuff before it happened to us in real life. Like none of us had had kids. We were guessing. And so yes, so much of this episode is meta, but it feels meta for me personally because I lived it not long after. And I don know that gets in your head. That's when you start to wonder like if you conjure shit, like what is happening?  But Lucas showing up made me love Lucas and Peyton so much. People pick on us for being cheese balls once we're together. I don't give a shit. I don't care what you think. We are in love. He showed up. He was like, you told me last week. Like what? You heard that?..It was so romantic and it didn't cost a thing. He just showed up and remembered. -Hilarie

On the topic of TTPD with EAA, Guilty as Sin? reminds me a lot of MMC and Lucas in his route’s first two seasons, specifically from Lucas’s perspective
Do I have specific lyrics to prove my point? Many
Am I actually going to get around to posting them?
Perchance

How do you see Scott's feelings towards Wallace? Like what main conflict does he have to overcome to figure out/decide to make a move on Wallace?
his own obliviousness, mostly. i don't think he doesn't reciprocate wallace's feelings, it's more like he doesn't even realize it's an option for him to pursue. but even then he'd hesitate given how wallace represents a sort of stability for him (re: someone he comes home to; his home, literally) so he wouldn't want to challenge that either.
scott definitely loves wallace back in his own stupid way. we see it with how he assumes that living with wallace was going to be permanent despite the shittiness of their arrangement. he complains when asked about how living in apartment is, but when their lease is up he's extremely troubled by the prospect of having to move out, even though he'd be living with his girlfriend in her nice two story apartment with a yard. he calls it an extremely difficult decision and even calls stephen a monster for not understanding why he's conflicted.
he also always, always goes back to wallace whenever he runs into problems. this continues even after they stop being roommates, texting wallace whenever and crashing at his & mobile's place when ramona kicks him out. we also saw that scott becomes frustrated when he's unavailable in issue 4. hell, their apartment basically serves as the checkpoint of the first 4 books and the entire reason why wallace is the third main character of the story.
i would also cite his inexplicable dislike of mobile as something? like, scott is friends with other scott and we can infer that he's somewhat familiar with wallace's roster of fuck buddies given that he asks "who's the guy in bed? just a guy?" but he's been snarky about mobile since the very beginning and always has something to say whenever he's brought up.
tldr; he thinks of wallace as his bestie and doesn't question the weird more-than-friends thing they have to maintain stability. also probably doesn't know what being bisexual is.
