Everyday felt like an adventure in Disneyland Paris, whether it’s exploring new sights, trying new snacks/cuisines & screaming on rides I’ve never been before. This trip really signified multiple new beginnings, a reminder that you can heal from your past & joy will overtake all the sadness that was once there before. It’s being able to open up your heart again to new experiences & not building a wall within. As hard as it can be, it’s truly, deeply believing that things will get better 🥹 When you reach your mountaintop moment in life, not only do you get an amazing view but you’re able to enjoy all the different angles when you get there. 🙏4 years ago I made a decision to go to rehab, not REALLY knowing that 4 years later, I would be living a life similar to what other recovering addicts had always talked about. I'm clean and sober. I actually have my own apartment... and I pay my rent- on time. I was just employed... I held two jobs at one time. And I'm actually making doctors appointments... and going to them! And most importantly to me, I have my family back in my life.🙏 ♡ ◇ 🦋4 years ago, I made the decision to go to rehab because I could not stand the way I was living. I literally woke up one day and looked at the rat & roach infested hole-in-the-wall that my husband and I were surviving in, and I looked at my husband and said, "you know, I gotta go to rehab".🦋 ◇ ♡ 🌺Through this 4 year journey, I have been through some of the most difficult times. I have had to deal with some of the greatest losses of my life to this point. And I am not perfect in any way, shape or form. But, I don't, by any means necessary, pick up.
