The truth in here is spot on, as @heatherland_iaintdoinit and @yaayitsme can attest to after watching their dating assessment. I mean, we could find that rare unicorn shoved on the back shelf or mislabeled but who has the time to sort through everything, especially as a single parent? Kids come first. I haven't really dated since my divorce in 2011, and after seeing what's out there I'm not sure I want to. I was looking at my photos and wondered if they looked good enough to put as profile pics, attract clients...then realized I’m not that Personal Trainer/Coach that posts filtered selfies of perfectly angled glittered soft skin. I’m okay with not looking what everyone else may think perfect is. I’m not 20 years old anymore and I’m 100% fine with that. I don’t wear makeup 99% of the time and when I do it’s only mascara and lip gloss. At some point in my life I learned to love being me. These pictures I post are me being real and I feel 100% comfortable in my skin with clothes on or off. I’m not in the best shape but I will be. I’m pretty strong but I’ll be stronger. What matters more than that stuff...I care 100% about those around me including my clients and that’s what matters to me...not perfect pictures.
