Imagine an eldrich horror taking on human form. Like, you just meet a human on the side of the road and they're not exactly sure why they're here. They tell you that they used to be something else, but now that they're human they can barely comprehend what they once were, only a vague feeling of something.
You take them in. They know human language, basic adult skills, and that's about it. They're in an adult human body, around twenty, probably a bit underweight, they didn't bother giving themself biological sex but other then that they seem like a normal human adult. They can't tell you their name, they say they feel it should be something specific but it doesn't fit with how they comprehend language now. They say it should be something like Fraeoyw, but also that's nothing like how it was.
You decide to take Fraeoyw in, you're apartment has been lonely since your roomate moved out. They're freindly, seem curious about humanity, mabye that's why they made themself human in the first place. You have to teach them that they need food, sleep, and to clean themself. It's not like teaching a child, they understand what they need to do and why, they just haven't learned to do it before. They also learn to that human touch feels good, they want to compare it to something else but they don't fully understand what it reminds them of.
They try to explain things from their old life, but they can't even explain them to themself. Is this really what they wanted? They explain them in myths and fables because that's all they can grasp at them with. You start reading to them, first folktales and mythology, then just things you think they might like. They understand the concept of fiction, and they enjoy stories. Eventually you take them out through the city, and to meet freinds. They tell you they enjoy being a human, that if it was a choice it was a good one.
Occasionally they'll become afraid of things. Things they can't describe. Or things that seem harmless to you. They don't go to the bridge, even just the rivers that separate your city from the rest of the country scare them. You'll never know why.
One day they come into your room, they remembered something scary, they can't describe it, it's something from their old self perhaps, or something they once knew. They ask if they can just cuddle with you a bit, realizing how innocent they are you concent, but you make them promise not to touch certain parts of your body. They ask if they're the only one who gets scared this way, of things they can't understand. You tell them that everybody does.
Another one of this twitter trends I participated in, this time is @gooompy's "Turn a regular pokemon into an Ultra Beast and/or Turn an Ultra Beast into a regular pokemon" and I did both
UB-ANGULAR (Dark/Psychic) The Extradimensional Hound pokemon
It is based on the "Hounds of Tindalos", extradimensional creatures from the Lovecraftian mythos that are said to inhabit the "angles" of the universe while us humans inhabit the "curves", and can materialize at any point in time and space to hunt their prey. This pokemon is extremely fast due to its nimble, angular body, and more so thanks to its ability to create rifts in reality to enter in and out of our dimension at will.
GUZZLORD (Dark/Dragon) The Gluttonous pokemon
This voracious dragon is constantly eating anything that comes into its path, using its jaw-like claws to shred things into more easily digestable pieces. If it finds something that it cannot eat, it will destroy it using its power mace-like tail. Despite its wings looking too small when compared to its massive size, this pokemon can still fly, although very slowly and not for too much time.
