heyy i just read your headcanons for percy x child of zeus and it was so good!! i was wondering if you can write headcanons percy x child of hades??

omg I was literally on a rant today about how hades is one of the most decent gods out of all of them I love him YES I can do that !!

I feel like people would be even more hesitant and afraid of a child of hades than a child of zeus

because, you know, he's god of the dead and all that

you have to constantly remind people that he's god of the dead and not death

"no that's thanatos you don't want to cross paths with him he's not very fond of demi-gods, but hades is a pretty reasonable guy actually"

but there have been so many stories about hades people don't really believe he's not that bad

so at some point you stop talking to people about him

or at all

you pretty much keep to yourself

it's nice given that you have the cabin mostly to yourself

(nico isn't at camp that often)

but it can also be lonely

percy noticed it one day when you were having breakfast by yourself at the hades table, not talking to anyone

so he got up from his own table and joined you for breakfast

(dionysus did not approve but percy doesn't care lol)

and after that you always have breakfast together

and lunch

and dinner

percy is very sweet to you and makes sure everyone always includes you

during capture the flag one day you pulled some pretty cool moves which earned you the other team's flag

that's when people really started to see you as just another camper

they talked more with you and helped you with developing new skills

the apollo kids taught you archery (even though you aren't that good at it)

you played strategic games with the athena kids to develop "critical thinking skills" as annabeth called it

whenever you were doing something with one of the cabins percy was always around

he was secretly a bit proud to finally see you interact with the other campers

and he would still eat most of the meals with you at your table

sometimes nico joined you as well if he was at camp

if nico was there he was most likely to be joined by will

which then attracted some of the other apollo kids

it usually ended with a bunch of different campers sitting at your table

you always sat next to percy

you liked spending time with percy outside of the meals as well

the two of you often stayed at your cabin or percy's

or you'd watch percy in the lake

you team up during capture the flag (and always win when you do)

during campfire nights you always sit next to each other

percy loves it when you lean against him if you're tired

even though you're tired you'd stay there after most of the others had gone to bed already

it reminds you of the time no one really talked to you and percy was the first person to share a meal with you :')

headcanons behind fic: brother texting habits referenced in long & short

Chay holds up his phone sheepishly. “Also, your brother texted me. We’re invited to dinner.” Kim’s smile drops. He doesn’t need to ask which brother. “Did he type that out, or just send an emoji with a question mark?”

ngl, had i realized how much i'd expand this series, this is actually a scene i'd cut or at least heavily rework. it's the weakest scene of the story and its execution has only felt more clunky as time passes. hindsight! that said, i don't regret the scene either because the headcanons behind the premise of that scene are very near and dear to my heart, namely the texting rituals of Khun, Kinn, and Kim :D

the boys have a system to their texting. it's not anything as concrete as a code, that'd be far too dangerous and anxiety inducing. their system, naturally, revolves primarily around giving hints to Korn's mood without outright saying anything:

firstly, all brother invites to things go through Khun, because Khun's invites will only ever be invites and Kim's 'no's will only ever be 'no's.

anytime Korn demands Khun or Kinn (usually Kinn) drag Kim to a family thing for him go through Kinn, and 'Kinn's requests are always phrased as a question Kim can refuse. Kim once tells Kinn he'll show up if Kinn orders him to (because he doesn't actually want to get Kinn into trouble if Korn's being esp insistent), and Kinn smiles and tells him "thank you" and never ever once orders Kim join them, because Kim asked not to be involved in the family business and Kinn will take on any burden to keep Kim free of it.

Kinn passes along how insistent Korn's being through the overall tone and vibe of his messages, usually indicated by how much of it he types out. requests Kim join official functions sound like a formal invitation printed on a card, requests Kim indulge Korn playing family are much closer to Kinn's standard texting style;

because, and this is a silly headcanon i will have forever, Kinn fucking loves emojis. you know his whole "this could've been an email" vibe when he shoots that guy in the head ep1? same vibes except much cuter. Kinn thinks emojis are adorable and efficiency perfected. why send "thank you" when the 👍 emoji is right there? a picture's worth a thousand words and 🫂 is a thousand warm ones. he could send "wanna check out that new coffee shop by the studio next tuesday for brunch? their menu is 60% sprinkles so i'm sure you'll love it" but ☕🧋🎙️❔👑2️⃣🗓️🕦🍬👉💕💕‼️ is so much quicker. the only reason why Kinn's texts aren't 87% cute stickers is because he hasn't yet realized they come preprogrammed in his phone.

("do you think he speaks in hieroglyphics because he's secretly ancient?" Kim asks one day.

"how old does it make you to understand him then?" Khun snarks back.)

((Kim leaves Khun on read for a week.))

some bonus thoughts: Khun's a spam texter of the highest order. every one text is sent across 3.5 texts minimum. Kinn only ever sends one (1) text. if Kinn's replying to multiple messages in one go, he separates his responses in indv bullet points (if he's feeling petty towards Khun, he responds to every one of Khun's messages individually).

(Kinn's multiple messages to Chay in long & short are absolutely because he's watching Kim's live. for all Kim's snooping, he has somehow missed that Kinn has every alert and then some set for Wik news and while he can't make every live, he plans his breaks around them and even moved a meeting once.)

also, while Kinn pretends he's threatening/blackmailing with these baby Kim pics, this is 100% him taking advantage of the situation to gush about cute baby brother with a fellow Kim AppreciatorTM. Kinn has the cutest little brother, and he's gotta keep up with news of baby brother's current shenanigans somehow 😤👏 Khun is guilty of similar crimes ofc.

(Kim suffers older brothers so much.)

No, because when someone asks me, "what would a relationship with Itachi canon be like, you know, the rogue ninja who killed everyone to stop a civil war and abandoned his brother for his own good?", I imagine a relationship similar to that of Greg and Rose Quartz.

Imagine being a civilian who enjoys playing the guitar, and one day, singing in the forest, you encounter this mysterious man.

He congratulates you, arguing that he was drawn to you by your melodious voice and the gentle sound of the guitar.

He tells you his name after you tell him yours, although you vaguely asks why he didn't tell you his last name. But, Itachi is a nice name even if there's no suffix to pair it with.

The most random and imaginative topics arise in each encounter you both have. You two always meet in the same place, always at the same time. It quickly becomes a routine for you.

Without signs indicating that Itachi comes from any village or indicating that he is a ninja, you are left wondering where this sweet man could have come from. (although maybe if you looked behind the tree that is two meters away from you, you would see the articles he used daily)

Maybe he's the son of a vendor passing through your town, or maybe he's a tourist who likes to visit towns that aren't visible at first glance on the map.

Whatever he may be, it doesn't matter, not as long as your heart beats strongly when his hand brushes yours or when his fingers gently touch your cheek as he tries to tuck your wild locks behind your ear.

Itachi knows it's wrong. He knows these encounters are wrong. But he can't help but want to be by your side, listening to you ramble about random and simple yet fascinating things that as a ninja he never would have thought or imagined.

You make him feel like someone normal, like an ordinary man. You make him feel alive, something he hadn't felt since the massacre, perhaps even long before joining the Anbu.

It's as if he doesn't have blood covering his hands. As if he doesn't bear all the hatred of the world on his tired shoulders, preventing him from breathing.

All his problems disappear from his mind when you allow him to rest his head to take a nap, while you arguing that his dark circles look too big. Nightmares and insomnia leave him when you run your delicate hands, with no calluses in sight, through his hair. The protest dies on the tip of his tongue when you scratch that specific part that quickly turns him into putty in your hands.

One morning, Itachi Uchiha vaguely realizes that the dark circles and stress marks have become smaller and blames you for the gentle fluttering his heart does at the thought of you taking care of him. Kisame looks at him puzzled when he comes out of the bathroom. At first glance, he had a neutral face, but his eyes told a different story; they looked more alive.

Kisame wondered what or who made him that way. Itachi simply ignores him as usual, trying to keep the corners of his lips from rising because his happiness hasn't waned yet and he doesn't want Kisame to see him like that.

It's a night when Itachi finally realizes that he has fallen deeply in love with you. His heart stops for a moment when he realizes that it hurts to think about leaving you when he dies at the hands of his brother.

And he simply doesn't want to.

He doesn't want to leave your side. He's being selfish, he knows it well, but for once he wants to be. He himself destroyed all his dreams and hopes, all for Konoha and his younger brother.

By sacrificing his world, he can never become Hokage or live in Konoha again.

Maybe if he cut his hair and ran away with you to live in another secluded place away from the ninja world—

He stopped.

What was he thinking? He was dangerous. Everything about him was dangerous.

He had hurt so many people, had ended the lives of so many. You deserved someone better, someone who didn't have hands stained with blood or a destroyed man.

And he simply decides to push you away.

He told himself that this would be the last time. He didn't hesitate when he told you that he didn't want to see you again and that you should stay away from him.

Maybe if he were strong enough and you didn't have him in the palm of your hand, he would have been stronger, and he would have left without explanations.

But that wasn't the case.

"Itachi, you have to tell me what's going on."

Itachi sighed, almost as if trying to prepare himself for what he was about to say. "I— you have dreams, I don't want you to sacrifice everything for me," he told you the truth, unable to hide it under a lie.

"It's a pity."

"Uh?"

"You are all I want."

“So…”

“Hmm?”

“What was the answer?”

“… Love”

“Woahhh-! I know it!”

“So do i”

OKAY SO I JUST DECIDED TO FILL THE WHOLE THING OUT! I headcanon Peril as Intersex and nonbinary!! AND SAME FOR ME, they fall fight between “I know them” and “their lore is literally impacted by their transsexualism”!! Peril is a very Nonbinary character to me, the way she was raised to view things as very “black & white” and hosting a sense of little self autonomy— makes them finding a comfortable identity in a very “”in the middle”” gender compelling! Especially within the understanding of how Peril was raised and brought up in someone else’s vision, being able to find self-identity in that nature of breaking down the “black & white” structure that was forced on them through the act of finding identity in neutrality. I find the development of self-love extended through gender expression in that nature something that works well in-unison with Peril’s pre-existing themes! Especially in regards to the layered metaphors of the Necklace. As a nonbinary person myself - I found that to be a pinnacle moment of forced suppression of identity into something more “palatable” to the public perception - in this analysis that being the forcing of femininity onto a gnc aligning identity - speaking to the way many nonbinary identity’s are expected to lean “one direction or the other”. So that moment being involved in Perils story - and her breaking free of it and having a self-realization/control moment - very reflective of nonbinary/gender non conforming experiences !!

With that though - thats just my own interpretation and connection to those aspects of Peril’s characterization! I find her lore and themes within her character to speak to many universal experiences of identity that can be interpreted in a fluid way. Like I personally read it as a very compelling arc about non-conformity and applied my own experiences with gender expression onto it, but other interpretations/analyses are just as strong! Thats why I put this headcanon in the middle, because I find it connects heavily to their lore, but is similarly just an extension of it and not necessarily interwoven in-full. Its a lot of personal interpretation which is why the personable “I know them” also 100% fits my perception of transgenderism onto Peril <33

Also the Intersex headcanon is purely a me thing, I always thought Peril was intersex just like. Factually lmao (one of those “I somehow convinced myself this was canon and was surprised to learn it was not” moments lmao). The reason I included it as well is because within my headcanon I think Peril would similarly absorb her being intersex to a further extension of gender identity! Again, breaking down those “black & white” views that were forced on them through themself - literally! Notably being intersex does not inherently mean gender identity is going to be impacted as well, just for this headcanon I feel Peril’s relationship to their gender identity would be strongly impacted by them being intersex <3 !!

this is so so sweet i love this ask!!

levi is a very light sleeper, so even the slightest movement from you would strike him awake at any time. however, it wasn't easy to convince him to sleep in the same bed as you even when the two of you began dating. he was very much adamant that he needed to stay up to finish several documents for erwin, but you maintained your persistence – and just like that, he gave in too quickly.

you noticed how dark his undereyes have gotten and you would gently scolded him for not listening to you sooner about sleeping early. he merely grumbled into your shoulder as you tugged him along and into the shared room in which you mostly slept in – he always ended up falling asleep in his chair until a few hours had passed, you figured his posture must be horrid at this point.

so, you assisted in removing his jacket and loosening a few buttons on his dress shirt. he slipped off his cravat, setting it on his nightstand and slipped under the silky duvet to join you. he laid inches away from you, not making any effort to move closer as he didn't want to seem abrupt.

but, it was when you took his hand into your own that made him avert his eyes onto your tired features and he could feel the tension leave his body – you were just so pretty. his face softened just for you and he couldnt help but ask, "what is it?"

you lightly groaned, half awake and half asleep, muttering the last few sentences that you could manage, "you're too farrr.. come closer, it's freezing you know?"

he chuckled, hesitant and somewhat clumsy at first, "are you sure?"

"of course, my love," you confirmed, rubbing your eyes and inching yourself closer and closer to the warmth of his body.

levi tensed the moment you made full contact with his chest, not even registering the fact that this was really happening. the person he's wanted for all these years was sleeping soundly right by his side because you felt safe enough to do so. he couldn't fathom it, it almost didn't feel real.

though, when he finally moved his arms away from his sides and gently wrapped them around your limp form, it confirmed that this was real and that perhaps he could actually get a good night's rest because of you.

he looked down and upon hearing the quiet breaths that went in and out of your nose, he's never felt more at ease than he is now. he felt the corners of his lips perk up into a small smile that was only ever reserved for you, but since your eyes were closed to notice, he kept it to himself.

from then on, he cherished the nights more than he used to. he'd always been terrified of waking up from another nightmare, but with you by his side, everything seemed a little more okay. he didn't have them as frequently and instead, were replaced by dreams of where you existed in them. your warm smile that had him sinking into the ends of the earth or your tender embraces that had him cling onto the stars.

he got more than just 3 hours of sleep, eventually getting to the point where he could sleep peacefully through the night. he was truly indebted for all that you do, even if you don't realize it.

if there are some nights when he can't fall asleep for any reason, he'll just stay awake, making sure you're at least getting the rest you deserve. it's very grounding for him and it does give him the reminder that you're not going anywhere, you're still alive and well.

he'll word vomit sometimes too – conscious or not. what i mean, is that i can see him sleep talking, but only when he's having a nightmare. when he's awake and can't sleep, he'll just mutter sweet nothings into your ear about how much he loves you, it's very gentle.

"i love you. more than anything in the world, my love."

"my sweet girl. look so pretty like this.."

"for as long as i live, i'm gonna make sure nothing happens to you. i swear it."

and the concept you brought up that if he sings lullabies to help him sleep??! ugh that is just perfect, he most certainly does.

it's mainly songs that his mother used to sing back when he couldn't sleep as a child and it always seemed to work wonders for him every time. it must've been the smooth and calming tone of his mother's voice that put him to rest so easily or maybe it was the comfort it brought him to know that it wasn't all bad – that there was good in the world for him, big or small.

he'd do the same for you, if ever you can't sleep, he'll hum a little tune while you're curled up in his arms – it's a messy collection of different pitches, but nonetheless, the low rumble in his chest and soft ministrations of his hands rubbing your back is enough for you to close your eyes.

as soon as he knows your asleep, he'll kiss your forehead followed by an audible whisper that you're able to make out with the remaining bit of consciousness you had left,

"goodnight sweetheart. see you in the morning."

anyway a headcanon I have about Hungary is that in modern times she uses whatever pronouns(she/he/they mostly), but prefers they/them. It has to do with the fact that in hungarian they don't have gendered pronouns, but also bcs of their gender expression and they just prefer them idk.

Evergreen is so spoiled. Being the only girl in a group of men means you get treated like a queen (especially when having lady problems)

Freed, in particular, cannot handle listening to her whine about cramps and will do anything to 'appease the beast' (his exact words)

The team has a running gag about not liking Bickslow. Obviously they love him, but if they can make a joke about him being the worst they are gonna

Other members of the guild were stressed when they watched them roast Bix for the first time

Bickslow plays along too and his main goal is to be as annoying as possible. If Freed doesn't rub his temples in frustration, then Bickslow's failed

The entire team has one braincell. Laxus and Bickslow have never even touched it. Freed and Evergreen are the only users

They all live together! Evergreen lived on her on as a teen but joined the boys when the guild disbanded

They have movie nights. It's once a week and rotates who picks the movies. None of them like the same movies but they all agree Bickslow's taste in movies is awful

Bickslow knows this and picks god awful movies on purpose

If Evergreen is in a bad mood, they are all in a bad mood. Doesn't matter what the reason is

Evergreen is the biggest bully (playful) in the team. No one is safe, but she tends to go after Laxus the most nowadays (he's just so easy to make blush)

Evergreen is their 'lady expert'. Any issues with a woman gets run by her whether she likes it or not

She also beat all sexism out of them pretty early into joining the team

Now, first things first, yall know Walter upgraded the FUCK out of Killians body mods. Like he went "that looks cool! But i can make it better :) just saying :)"; now killian has better, comfier, smoother tech, like an actual robot hand instead of a claw; his eye was already pretty nice, Walter just helped make it more natural looking in case of malfunction, n avoid any pain n shit like that

Walter has Killian wrapped around his lil finger its insane. Anyone with any prior context of everything between them just doesnt know how to act. Walter wants a water? Ok but does he want it flavoured? Iced? Natural? Walter looks at Killian with those big blue eyes and suddenly he just has to touch him in any way.

Walter is definitely the chill half of this couple. Walters the anchor. And im not saying chill like in general, Walter is still is cute energetic self, what i mean is only one of them will become a flustered mess after their first kiss and think abt it forever all the time, especially at night while he watches the other sleep and pets his hair and is overwhelmed by the amount of Feelings he has for the other (killian is so emotionally repressed but then walter is the way he is n he just naturally forces killian not to be that way by just fucking breathing, n its very disorienting for Killian)

Killians not affected by sleep hours all that much, he goes to sleep whenever n then wakes up whenever n he'll be fine. Walter, however, is not a morning person. Can u imagine walter grumpy? Well, killian has now experienced it many times. Its actually how he first realized his feelings for walter. Its stupid endearing (he'd never admit this tho ofc)

Killian bites as a love language. Theyre very soft (sometimes >:)) n walter always turns beet red when he does them

Its hard for both of them to say i love u, but for different reasons. Killian, for ur regular degular emotional repression. Walter, because he never had meaningful emotional n intimate relationships to warrant saying that except for his mom, so saying it gives him anxiety like no other. So, they do that thing where u tap someone 3 times as "i love you" n then the other taps back 4 times "i love you too"

Killian never had the habit for listening to music. Walter introduced him to kpop n it all went downhill from there (his main group is dreamcatcher, because he has taste. His bias is dami)

Walter needs glasses but always forgets them. Killian is now used to carrying around two pairs of glasses: one for himself, n a duplicate of Walters glasses

So when Kluge announced that a new person was gonna be joining the team Ron was. less than excited.

He was very dry and distant for the few first weeks despite your attempts to strike up a conversation, most you'd get out of him would be a sarcastic or backhanded response

Don't get him wrong though! It's not that he automatically dislikes you, it's just that you're, like, UNUSUALLY friendly..? And actually trying to actually TALK to him? Learn more about him?? Invite him to hang out and grab something to drink????

Yeah this had to be some sort of plan to get him to do something for you...right?

But he starts letting his guard down when one day you come to work with an extra coffee for him and...oh wow, that's his usual coffee order. He thought you were just making small talk. Huh

He outright asks you if you need him to do you a favor or something

He doesn't mean it bad!! He's just...Shocked and not used to positive input from others, especially work buddies

And when you reply that you just wanted to do something nice for him and offer him a smile, somewhere deep deep DEEP in his mind he kind of knows he's a bit fucked <3

He starts to open up to you more, slowly but surely. He'll start engaging in your conversations, he'll go out of his way to say hi to you when you walk into work in the morning, he'll begin to actually laugh at your dumb jokes, he starts to initate conversations with you by himself and sometimes even swing by your office when he has nothing better to do

When he swings by your office one day, he starts venting about you guys' coworkers and how they're such big assholes to him all the time, even opening up a bit about how his own work at Illuminati fucks him up a bit

What he didn't expect though was for you to actually listen to what he says, and to offer him a kind smile and some sweet advice

He's stunned to say the least, but he actually offers you a very faint, slight smile in appreciation. He doesn't thank you with words, but you can tell that it means a lot to him

After some time after the two of you start getting along, everyone is surprised that Ron is like. Actually having fun and cracking jokes and laughing with you. It's like for a small moment, for some strange reason, you can give him the comfort he's never had

To be completely honest with himself, Ron didn't know exactly where his feelings about you fell. You were kind of the opposite of him, you loved to goof around and make very stupid puns and jokes, you were a bit awkward but never lost your optimism and go-getter attitude, and...you listened to him. You were there for him, always. And he'd be lying if he said that he didn't catch himself staring at you a bit too long sometimes, that he didn't smile at your god-awful snort when you made a particularly horrible joke and that he didn't stay awake for a few hours more than is appropiate at night thinking about you

That's something he's not ready to share with you yet

But when he gets to work early, and he gets to see you walk through the door and wave at him excitedly as you jog over with a smile

He thinks he might be ready one day

1. why do they wear diapers? (comfort? necessity?)

pav 100% most definitely has a chronic case of "always on the go" little one fever, which means that bathroom breaks are like >:(( because he wants to just keep on playin!! it's less of a "woops forgot to go!" situation (altho those still do happen), but more of a "but i don't wannaaaaaa!" situation

2. when did they start wearing diapers?

he just decided to try them out one day out of curiosity! pav knows he can get really preoccupied with playing & doesn't wanna get up for a bathroom break (& has his moments where he either forgets or is a little too late), so there was no harm in seeing what works best for him! in the end, dips worked perfectly!! ヾ(＾-＾)ノ

5. what are their favorite designs / patterns?

ohhh you just KNOW pav is a sucker for fun designs – i think he rlly likes animal print designs like little paws, animal faces, & little polka dots of animal print (like jaguar & cheetah spots)!

11. do they like the smell of baby powder?

pav always, always, without fail smells like baby powder when he's regressed. usually it's just a slight smell when he walks past, but if he's just had a change? you can smell the powder on him from at least a mile away. one time he got into the powder during one of his little adventures & ended up covered in it. let him get his hands on some vanilla amber scented baby powder? oh, it's over. so the short answer is YES, 1000%, absolutely

13. have they ever had a daytime accident?

a handful of times, yeah. usually caused by him being too busy playing with gayatri or hobie to recognize he's gotta go till it's a little too late – it's a tad embarrassing at first, but then pav takes it in stride because, well ... it happens!

14. do they wet the bed?

it's a lot less common, but there are the rare times he's had too much to drink before bed and ... yeah. again it's not very common, but it still happens!
