Riddle Rosehearts:

He's never really shared his bed before. Riddle is a bit of a picky sleeper. He's not a light sleeper, but he can't fall asleep unless the conditions are right. He can't fall asleep unless he's laying down on his back. There can't be too much noise when he's trying to fall asleep otherwise he'd be wide awake- not matter how tired he is.

So naturally, waking up with you by his side, he's a little startled. Riddle doesn't flinch or scream, but he is taken aback. He slept well. With you?

You look so at peace when you're asleep. So serene, so still and calm. Did he look like this when he was sleeping with you too?

He held his breath as he heard you stir in your sleep. A wave of relief soon washed over him as you didn't wake from your slumber. He didn't want to get caught staring at you. That would've been embarrassing!

His eyes glance towards the clock on his nightstand.

Ah well... a few minutes wouldn't hurt. Riddle smiled contently and pressed a chaste kiss on your forehead before pulling the covers over the both of you, making sure you're both nice and snug. After all, there's no very important date to be late to.

Leona Kingscholar:

The botanical garden fostered the perfect environment for napping. There was the perfect amount of shade and sunlight for a certain lion to find a moment of solitude and solace.

A moment meaning an hour or two... or three. Leona preferred his naps long. Thirty minutes isn't enough to equate to a nap. Thirty minutes is only enough time to close his eyes and ponder some thoughts. It takes a lot for Leona to fall asleep. However, when he's out, he's out.

Still, he's not a heavy sleeper either. So how on earth did he find himself in this predicament? You clinging onto him like a monkey hugging a tree trunk...

Leona recounts what happened before he fell asleep. Or, at least, what he remembers before he fell asleep

You came to the garden looking for him and found him in his secret spot Then, you said something about another thing. And he said something witty. What was it again?

Oh yes. You said that napping on grass looked uncomfortable and in response, he pulled you into his arms. His eyes dart back to your sleeping figure. Heh, you sure did look comfortable

Azul Ashengrotto:

Azul jolted awake and gasped for air. A nightmare? He can't even remember what it was about. His hand snaked through his hair, aimlessly combing it in a soothing motion while his other hand found itself on top of his heart, feeling it race a thousand miles an hour

He inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm himself. It's just a dream. You're okay. Inhale. Ex- Wait a minute. He's not the only one breathing here

His stormy gray eyes travel to the source: you.

You who slept without a care in the world, somewhere far away. Seeing your face made any leftover shivers and chills dissipate. An angel, truly. Just one look at you and he's grounded. Everything is going to be alright.

Whatever Azul dreamt about earlier was just a dream, but you? You're a reality. Though he may believe that sometimes, being with you feels like a dream, you're real. You're real and you're with him.

That's all the matters. He knows that no matter what, you'll always be there to greet him the next time he opens his eyes.

And with that, Azul intertwines his fingers with yours and finds himself succumbing to his own drowsiness.

Kalim Al-Asim:

Sunlight seeped through Kalim's bedroom window. Jamil would usually wake him around this time, but it's the weekend so he was left undisturbed. Still, Kalim is used to being awake at this time and today was no different.

Well... there was something different- you. You were peacefully snoring by his side. Not full on snoring, but little kitten snoring. It was something he found adorable.

Here at NRC, his bed was a little lonely. Back home, he would sleep with his siblings all the time whether that be slumber parties in their rooms or letting them sleep with him for the night because of a bad dream. Kalim can't really do that here because most people in the dormitory tend to mind their own business and wouldn't dare to disturb him even if they had a bad dream. It was also one of those "too old for that kind of stuff" things

But at least Kalim knows you're comfortable with sharing the same bed as him

Is it because the bed is warmer? Or that you feel safer with him next to you? Is it him that feels safer? Perhaps the feeling is mutual...

Vil Schoenheit:

Waking up next to you is something Vil has to get used to. Sharing the same bed is a norm for most relationships- dating, marriage and whatnot. He shouldn't be so surprised... but he is. For some reason, he is.

Is it because you're one of the few people he truly trusts? Wholeheartedly? Or one of the few people who've seen his face without makeup and still think he's as beautiful as ever.

Or because you have this tendency to watch him when he sleeps and get extremely flustered when he catches you, telling you he's been awake the whole time?

When Vil wakes up before you, he takes some times to brush out the flyaways framing your face. He wants to take the time to admire you and your beauty as much as he can.

Then, he gently shakes you awake. Vil isn't one to snooze as he has a busy schedule and he wants to kiss you goodbye before his time is spent on other things

But even if he is busy, those first few moments in the morning with you mean the world to him

Idia Shroud:

Like Riddle, Idia doesn't share his bed much. Well, he used to share it with Ortho when they were little, but you know...

He's a very closed off person when it comes to touch despite being so touch-starved. It takes a lot for Idia to truly let someone in. He's alright at keeping things surface-level. But sleeping next to each other? That's another story.

The first time he ever woke up with you by his side, it felt like a weight was being lifted off of his shoulders. He felt... at home. It felt comfortable, safe and sound.

You breathing and being so close to him was enough to turn his hair red, but it also made him want to scream into his pillow. He can't do that though. That would wake you up.

Instead, Idia settles for pulling you closer, hugger you like a giant pillow. He wants to relish and savor this moment. He doesn't know if he can have something like this again if he lets go.

It's nice. This love thing you two have going on... Not that he would say that he's in love.

Malleus Draconia:

The fair folk don't require sleep like humans. They can sleep, but it's not necessary to sleep. It's more for recreation. Nevertheless, Malleus is allured by the concept of sleep.

What an honor and an absolute pleasure to have you, a human, to trust him enough to sleep with him.

When humans sleep, they're exposed to many external forces that could potentially harm them. Other people, the environment, and so many more things.

So when you fell asleep on his shoulder, his eyes widened. Tut, tut, child of man. Malleus worries for you. Have you been sleeping well? He's heard of some instances where humans fall asleep because they were too exhausted? It makes sense though. But for now, he'll keep you safe.

What he didn't expect was to fall asleep himself not long after. And surprisingly, you're still in a deep slumber when he's wide awake again.

Perhaps a new hobby of his is watching you sleep. Not in a creepy way, but he just finds it so fascinating. The way your lashes flutter, the way your body rises and falls to the rhythm of your breathing. The way your heart beats.

Humans are truly delicate creatures, but he supposes that's the beauty of them

trimax vol 13 random thoughts (ch 5-9)

chapter 5:

okay, it took me way longer than it should have to figure out what happened in this scene, lol. razlo gets behind elendira and blocks her nail gun with the nail that's already in his body which jams her gun and pushes the nail further into his torso which takes them both by surprise.

"some dumbasses"?? do you mean wolfwood and vash?? LOL

come on, come on, come on!!! he's so cute, lol. he's like a dog who wants to play.

i love watching razlo fight!!! it's so fun seeing him fight a different way due to not having his punishers/third arm anymore. he's having so much fun too, it's infectious~

UNTIL ELENDIRA USES A PSYCHIC ATTACK ON HIM. JESUS CHRIST. THAT ONE ALMOST HAD ME.

chapter 6:

ma'am could you please stop serving cunt for a second i'm trying to read manga and you are distracting me

AAAAAGH AND THEN SHE BLASTS HIS LEG OFF. THAT ONE WASN'T FAKE THAT ONE WAS REAL. he'll be okay but :(

uuuueeee... wolfwood... just seeing the little panel of him... i miss him so much... and the reminder of wolfwood brings livio back out. ueee... waaahhhh...

i'm sitting here trying to articulate my feelings about livio and razlo and i can't, really... :') livio feeling so bad and apologizing that he has to rely on razlo so much, razlo doing his best to encourage livio... they really care about each other a lot. it's very sweet. i care them. :(((

oh this is so very much not how DID works but it's both cool and important to their character arcs so it's FINE!!!! it's fine

huuuhhhmmmmm something something symbolism in livio's guns being reversible and livio and razlo working together, two as one... is this anything? am i connecting any dots here?

they were able to bring elendira to her knees with their teamwork!!!!

chapter 7:

uwaaahhh! young livio flashback!! this is where his twinky stampede self came from i guess. i hope season 2 gives us a beefier version-

...wait. wait, wait, wait, wait, wait wait wait. hold on. speaking of stampede. give me a second.

*returns 30 minutes later* HUH. INTERESTING. so stampede shows us livio working hard in EoM to catch up with wolfwood, but in the manga, it's all but outright stated that he's trying to catch up with razlo.

sorry i'm just fascinated by the tristamp/manga differences and seeing younger livio doing pushups reminded me (stamp!livio does pushups the same way!!)

we're not supposed to know that razlo exists yet in tristamp; i wonder if or how season 2 is going to reframe any of this. it's not like i dislike livio and wolfwood's relationship in stampede!! i think it's really sweet, introducing livio into ww's story earlier is a good move, and livio joining EoM to catch up with ww makes everything in the relevant episodes more emotional. but the relationship between livio and razlo is just as important!!

razlo encouraging livio is SO cute, uwaaaahhh...

WAAAHHHHH!!!! I LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH!!!!!

elendira, killed by her own nail... oh girl... my beloved... i did not expect her to live but i'm still sad she's gone. what a fantastic fight though. might be my favorite fight in this manga.

also livio's gonna have an interesting time trying to get up and get her off of him once his limbs regenerate... uh... if they can regenerate? i'm assuming they can...

i am gonna fucking CRYYYY... calling him by name... wwwaaaaahhhhh...

he would be so proud of you, livio!!!! WAAAAHHH!!!

okay, time to cut back to my other faves having their own battle.

it's so funny that legato thinks this. dude, she hates your guts. if she knew she was gonna see you in the afterlife soon she WOULD worry.

knives is so mean... to be just a tiny little bit fair to him, i too would be low on patience if my brother just blasted me with a death beam and someone suddenly started handling my guts that were hanging out. but he's so mean!! i feel bad for legato!!

i AM surprised that knives is still conscious... and that he's still mostly intact. like his guts are hanging out but it looks like his legs and arms (or at least one arm) are still attached, and he's still got. y'know. most of his skin. certainly more intact than his stampede self, lmao.

vash, honey, what on earth makes you think he plans on living through this fight any more than you are. :')

chapter 9:

OH BOY, HE'S FERAL!!! truly, he is going out in a blaze of glory just like he wanted. i wouldn't expect anything else from him at this point.

ahhh... stampede!legato talks a lot about discarding emotion in favor of devotion. but emotion and devotion are intrinsically linked. legato is a pretty emotional person, he cries a lot and yells a lot... as long as he can express his devotion to knives, he feels like he's fulfilling his purpose, so he's happy... i'm glad he's having fun at least... :')

WAAAAHHH VASH IS REMEMBERING WOLFWOOD NOW... his face is not quite visible but... vash is remembering wolfwood's words because he's thinking he really is going to have to kill legato to end this fight... killing legato just like in the 98 anime...

i get caught up in the action, but every time they bring wolfwood up i realize how much i miss him...

this panel fucks.

i love watching legato go fucking crazy fighting. i wanna see this fight animated so bad :''')

when i read the top panel, i was like, "because of knives, right?" then i read the bottom panel... ahhh... not just knives... every plant... it's a good thing tristamp established this relatively early because we don't really see vash doing this in the story lol

OKAYOKAY so i have this little group of nuggets. they don't really have a set name for themselves but they're made up of 3 people: Archer, Quill, and Holly

Archer is the leader of the group. Selectively mute and the strongest of the bunch, they have a p intimidating presence but they're honestly super chill. They were formerly a Blade Lineage member! Quill is the second in command and obsessed with fighting and being strong for reasons that may or may not involve his sibling (also REALLY into dragons). Holly is a nestborn wild child who hated their coddled life and left to L corp to choose violence (they love it)

Together they bond through their strength and pursuits of power! They hang out n have lunch together and they're almost like a found family...

But the thing is that. They kill people. Its their whole thing violence brought them together and keeps them together. Do not look at them wrong lest you be torn asunder

[replying to: kaname: himenii is sooo cool some other baby: his pronouns kinda suck :? who would want to be called ‘it’ kaname: (smacks their face into their pudding)] so himeru learns of this and starts thinking its precense is becomign a bad influence on kaname because its getting its precious little brother in trouble and oh shit what about its family what if they learn about kaname and manami and make trouble for them it cant do that to them it doesnt want them to get hurt so it runs away and throws the tojos into panick, manami is running around asking everyone she knows if they've seen himeru bc she knows she cant file a report to the police due to himeru's status bc it could throw suspicion onto it and its family and could potentially make himemama mad enough to do something about her and kaname and while shes talking to anyone who would answer her calls, trying frantically to call himeru herself, kaname is heartbroken and confused because why is niichan gone was i a bad boy did i drive it off and when manami isnt looking he uses his emergancy phone to call himeru (its the first time hes ever used it, his only contacts being mama and niichan. he fumbles the buttons, not know where to press or how hard and only made more difficult by the incordination brought upon by his dispair and sobbing) and ofc himeru accepts the call because kaname never calls anyone and that fact is more than enough to make it worry and the moment the call connects kaname starts sobbing and wailing into the reciever in an incoherent mess "im sorry for being bad im sorry niichan niichan im sorry im sorry" and himeru is filled with Brotherly Instinct and books it back to the tojo household to comfort him, throwing open the door once it unlocks it with the key manami gave it and running to kaname's room, where the moment the door opens and kaname sees it he runs over and hugs it with all its might, crying and clinging to it as himeru clings back. manami quickly joins them, hugging both her children to make sure they will not leave again. aft that is the offical convo where himeru gets adopt n becomes legally obligated not to leave :D

Sorry, but why is Raine’s skin so light in the painting? You are aware that they’re darker-skinned, right? They almost look white in that.

I understand your concern, but I don't think it really is? There's sunlight literally beaming at them! I used ton of white light on the face and an orange filter over the whole thing of course it looks lighter. You can look at the neck or arms, yeah there's some shadow, but not all of it and here you can see it's dark skin imo. Look at their hair too, it's literally white and yellow on top 😅, yeah out of context it might look like white skin, but I think looking at the whole painting it's dark enough.

Maybe it's a shade too light cause i didn't use reference (and well there's quite a difference in my laptop and phone screen), but it still looks like their skin to me... Tho that's just how I feel as a person who spent the multiple hours painting it, so maybe I'm not that reliable idk, if there's more people who think that it's too light then maybe you're right, I could try darkening it. Open to critique cause I wouldn't purposefully make it light, but ueee I think it's good??

Heartbeat Scenario

It was a tale as old of time. A tale of forbidden love.

Once upon a time, there lived a boy who worked as the palace gardener named Jamari with hair and eyes as dark as the night sky. A talented young boy who must suppress his talents for a servant should never be better than the royal family they served. He couldn't protest or raise his voice. Which was why when a foreign prince came to court the princess, he didn't say a word to object.

Even knowing she was engaged, it didn't stop Gardener Boy Jamari to visit his best friend, the princess herself. He would climb the tree next to her bedroom window when it was open and the princess was seen doing her paperwork. They would exchange small talks and listen to her sing a small melody. These were the special moments where Jamari could be free to express himself through whispers and he loved every moment with her.

It didn't take long for him to find out about the unfair abuse the princess must suffer because of his daring acts. He would see the bastard prince glared at him through the closed window. It was a silent declaration from Jamari: "You dare to hurt her. I'll make you regret it."

It was a tale as old of time. A tale of forbidden love.

Once upon a time, there lived a young princess named Aira, with hair as beautiful as the cherry blossom petal and eyes in a light pink rose color. A kind princess maybe the most gentle. She would never hurt a fly or speak up for herself. Which was why when a prince from the land across the sea named Tobias came and offered a hand in marriage, she didn't say no.

Even with her engagement, it didn't stop Princess Aira from hanging out with her best friend, the sweet gardener boy. She would come by the rose garden with a book in hand to chat with the boy while he was working, exchanging small talks and giggling from his jokes. These were the rare moments where Aira could come out from her shell and she loved every moment with him.

It didn't last forever for Prince Tobias soon knew about her meetings with the gardener boy. He didn't take it well and would slap her for being disloyal. Aira could only cry as he ordered, "Don't you dare meet that lowly peasant again!"

That night was a magical night for both of them.

When Princess Aira woke up from her light sleep, the wind blew into her room, the curtain danced along with the breeze. And crouching on the windowsill with the bright yellow moon shining behind him was Jamari.

"Just take my hand. I promise I'll protect you and never leave your side."

Thus, when Prince Tobias came to check on her, Aira was nowhere to be seen. The pair ran off into the night, laughing at their newfound freedom, never to be seen again.

"Wait!"

"E-Eh?!" The pink-haired girl's eyes were widened, almost terrified as her eyes glanced to her wrist that was being held by Jamil. "C-Can I help you?"

Jamil wanted to smack himself of how out of character he was acting. What was he thinking, going up to the Diasomnia girl who he had never spoken to before, only noticing her during their first year sorting ceremony?

Jamil gulped. "Sorry." He slowly took off the hand which she pulled her hand almost immediately, caressing her wrist close to her chest. "I think I have mistaken you as someone else."

"O-Oh." She ducked her head, blush dusted his cheeks. She stole glances at him, didn't know how to act. "S-Sorry."

"It's alright. We should start over." He stretched out his hand. "My name is Jamil."

The girl hesitated at first but she slowly reached for him. "I'm Aiennor." Her smile was gentle, her blush was adorable, and her cherry blossom hair brought something that made his heart beat faster for a foreign nostalgic feel.

"Hey, Aiennor. Did you know?"

"What?"

"I think we're fated to be together."

"What the heck, Toby!" Aiennor giggled. Her boyfriend Toby always says nonsense stuff like this, but Aiennor would always fell to his charm over and over again. They had been dating for a few weeks now, maybe almost a month, and the giddy feeling was still there for Aiennor.

The student in front of them turned toward him, glaring at the pair. "Can you be quiet for a moment?" he hissed, "Some of us here is trying to study."

"Oops~" Toby sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, Jamil." Aiennor meanwhile closed her mouth, ducking her red face because of embarrassment.

Jamil's eyes lingered at her a bit longer before he rolled his eyes and turned back to Mr. Trein. Aiennor felt quite bad really, especially when Jamil was the one who complained. That boy had been nothing but nice toward her.

Jamil always felt that the world had been conspiring to make his life worst.

It wasn't enough that he came from a family or servant, but he also had these cryptic dreams. Of a crying princess with cherry blossom hair, reaching for his hand. He never really took her hand for he didn't understand their meaning.

That was until Aiennor came and the princess' face became clearer. He had heard about soulmates whose soul kept being reincarnated but he never thought that it would happen to him as well.

Aiennor always felt that the world had been pushing her to a revelation.

She still questioning whether it was a great decision for her to study in Night Raven College or if she would fit in Diasomnia. During those times of doubt, she would dream. Of a gentle farm boy with night sky eyes, offering her a hand. She never really to his hand for she didn't understand their meaning.

That was until Jamil came and the farm boy's face became clearer. The tale of soulmates whose soul reincarnate is true, and she's one of the lucky soul. Is this a blessing or a curse?

Jamil knew that Toby was the same bastard prince that abused the princess in his dreams. He knew his agenda of manipulating Aiennor to be his bitch. Oh, he wouldn't let him get off like that.

"You tricked her! I don't wanna see you anywhere near her, you got me?!"

That bastard just laughed. "Hey, she was the one that was dumb enough to believe me!"

It hurt Jamil when Aiennor came in Toby's defense. She trembling when facing him. "D-Don't hit him! G-Go away, you jerk!"

History tends to repeat itself and it happened right now.

Aiennor once again fell for the sweet talks of her boyfriends after his confrontation with Jamil. "Great Seven, are you okay?"

Toby smiled gently at her. "Yeah... You're so brave!" She went to a blushing mess and her heart fluttered. But something about Jamil's sad looks made her feel guilty.

It was only a few days later when she accidentally overheard Toby's talks to his friends. "I bet if I told her I loved her, she'd be like 'me too'!" He cackled. "That stupid bitch."

She ran away, crying. She had never felt so stupid in her entire life. Didn't this happen before in her dream/memories of her previous life? How could she fell to the same trick? Why did she accept that jerk proposal?

That day was a heartwarming afternoon for both of them.

Aiennor crashed into Jamil's chest but quickly recovered and stepped back. She kept sobbing. "You knew all along, didn't you? I'm sorry for calling you a jerk..."

But Jamil had already forgiven her. Thus, he stretched out his hand. "I told you I'd always protect you, didn't I?"

Aiennor let out a tearful, but happy chuckle. "What the heck?"

This time, their hand met.

The princess and the gardener boy were once again reunited in this life.

And may they always be reunited in this heartbeat scenario.
